Hello, people! I had a dream that I was at my six month anniversary on ...but I wasn't. Anyways, here's another extremely short, extremely dramatic, and extremely weird chapter of Impossible and Improbable! It's what you get when I play Für Elise on the piano as dramatically and emotionally as possible. :)
Reviews:
Silversky247: Yes, you were still Silversky247 when this review was posted...ah, the good old days. Now you're like, Gnome of Elveland or something. I did put my speaking points on your story. I also wrote a 1000 word review on your story...that was fun. You had no idea, too! Mark...To be honest, I never really liked him. He was okay, I guess. And of course Max will succeed! That's what I'm here for, after all. I would be worried for my sanity too if I was Rick Riordan, honestly. And I understand that LILITH needs to put FRANK in her story. Remember our revenge?

123Thomas321: I can think of a lot of blue foods...blue corn tortilla chips, blueberries, ooh, I know there are blue carrots, elderberries are sort of blue. Elderberries are AMAZING, too. We have a giant bush in our backyard, and you have to cook them and they're really bitter (that's what sugar is for!), but they taste good and are really good for you. This chapter took me a while too, mainly because I wasn't really feeling it. Max is...unique. That's what I'm going to say.
1234booklover: I don't love torturing you, it just comes with the job. Added bonuses, you know? Thanks!
BluePancakes7: So, a few things. First, people put weird stuff on Wikipedia. Because they're people, and people aren't very smart. Just the way of life. Also, they could be suspicious of these people and want to put a stop to them. But the real reason it's on there is because this is fanfiction. I can do pretty much whatever I want to these characters in fanfiction, so I choose to do this. If you want them to do something else, write your own fanfiction.
BluePancakes7 again: Yeah, I know it's a good story. And the stuff above again.
Junzhyy: That was something I did at the very first chapters of the story, and have since realized how stupid it looks. I thought it was cool, but it isn't.
athena or hermes: ...Nice way of putting it, I guess? I'm confused too now...
Peeta0BreadAndHumus: I told you to review, really. I know what you think. ;p
IAmTheUltimateFangirl: Ah, but Max is a mortal. That type of stuff is too deep for him to even notice, so he has to skim the top.
poseidonsdaughter1001: Anyone who insults Sally's way of life insults Sally, which insults Percy, which insults the entire fandom and it's fanpeople.
My name is soa d: ...Somehow, you're not the only one to say that to my writing. Not on this story though, of course!
Guest: True, but Max doesn't know that!
DISCLAIMER: Sorry, still not Rick Riordan.
Turns out Percy's life was pretty boring. Either that or he was really good at lying, which I knew he wasn't. We worked on our project, and completed it a whole week before it was due, and I got to know a little bit about him, so it was a win-win for me and a win-lose for him, if that makes any sense. Of course, since moving to Good, I was the smartest person there (not that I was counting). We'll just ignore all those extremely smart people who actually took the time and effort into life.
"So, what do you want to do now?" Percy asked once we had finished our gods/goddess project, plopping down on the couch and sighing.
"Um, I don't know, do you want to watch a movie?" I shrugged, hoping this was a normal thing to do. I used to go to a boarding school, remember?
Percy nodded. "Sure. We have Netflix." He walked over to the television and picked up the remote, turning the T.V. on. "What do you wanna watch?" I followed him, looking at the options. Finally, I suggested a classic but a favorite. You can't go wrong with something everyone enjoys.
"What about Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse?" I asked. Percy shrugged and put the movie on.
We got about thirty minutes into the movie when Percy's mom came home. I'm pretty sure she was spying on us through the window on the fire escape or something, because who knows what you're watching before they get through the door? Other than someone who's been spying on you through the fire escape, that is.
"I brought Oreos!" Sally said cheerfully, waving shopping bags around. She danced to the living room and went for the kitchen, placing the bags on the counter. "Percy, can you help me sort these things? Put the kale in the fridge?" Percy dutifully stood up and took the kale from his mother. I just sort of sat there in an awkward position.t (I already knew that they worshipped the gods and thought they were the children of the gods), but also at the fact that Annabeth was so delusional as to think she was a 'demigod'. I knew she was already affiliated with Camp Half-Blood, but I didn't know she had gone this far.
"Oh yeah? What type of demigod?" I was prepared to ask, but then Sally had called us for dinner.
"Um...Would you like me to do anything?" I asked Sally. She smiled and handed me a bag.
"Put those in the cupboard, would you?" I took the bag from her, and peeked inside. There were chips of all shapes and sizes, "For Percy's swim meets," Sally said, and a ginormous package of Oreos. I smiled and started to empty the bag.
My mother called soon after, so I had to go. "No, no, can you ask if you can stay for dinner?" Sally smiled her warm smile at me. I knew I couldn't turn down this hospitality, as it may have never come again and I would maybe get to find more about Percy (everyone warms up at dinner), so I asked my mother if I could stay. Of course she said yes. "Wonderful!" Sally replied when she heard the news. "Paul will be home in a bit with Estelle, can you help make some salad with Percy?"
I weakly smiled and picked up the lettuce, rinsing it carefully. Percy grabbed a large bowl, and we made salad.
When Paul/Mr. Blofis came back with a young girl, I was really confused. For some reason, I thought Estelle would be older. Like seven or something, not three. But...this girl, Estelle, was three. Huh.
Soon, we got ready to eat. And then we ate. It was, to my surprise, actually really, really, really, REALLY, good. I enjoyed it. I stayed away from the salad, because, you know, even though I made it, Percy helped too. The rest was good, and after dinner Sally brought out...CAKE. It was blue. Blueberry cake.
Soon, though, it was time for me to go. The conversations I'd had with Paul and Sally and Estelle (especially Estelle) gave me a lot to think about.
Yeah. Especially Estelle. Turns out that girl was a...volcano of knowledge. And let's just say she wasn't afraid to share that knowledge, either.
"MY BROTHER'S A DEMIGOD!" Was one of the things she first told me. Percy and I were in the living room playing with Estelle (The power of Legos). Percy laughed easily and said something about 'crazy fantasies', but I wasn't so sure. I remembered that little bit of knowledge for future use.
Estelle also happened to 'spill' that she knew Annabeth Chase and Annabeth was also a 'demigod'. I'll admit; I was slightly surprised. Not just at the 'demigod' part, but at the fact that she told Estelle. Annabeth was smart. That's why I liked her. She wouldn't be someone to tell a nosy three year old her deepest, darkest, secrets.
So, I wasn't completely sure Estelle was telling the truth. She was still a toddler, after all.
Later, after we had dessert and talked a bit more, my mom came to pick me up. She did that parent thing where you talk to the other parent to nose into the other parent's business but then you act like you didn't and be all polite. I knew. The parents talked, and learned stuff about each other, and I stood awkwardly with my backpack by the door ready to leave.
Driving home was weird. "Did you have fun at the Jackson-Blofis'?" My mother asked me. I nodded a quick 'yeah' and hoped that would be the end of it. But it wasn't. "You finished your report, right?" My mother said again.
"Yeah. About Apollo and Diana." I fidgeted with my hands, just wanting silence.
"What did you learn about them?" Mom asked. I sighed and told her all about how Apollo drove the sun and Diana did stuff with the moon and had a group of women that she hunted with. Or something like that. My mother nodded and smiled as I talked.
This continued like so for a while. I just wanted to go home...write about my findings on Percy, and sleep. Didn't look like I was that lucky, though. We didn't go straight home, and when I noticed that I didn't recognize the street we were on (and I know a lot of the NY streets), I was a bit confused. Then I put the pieces together.
My mother met someone.
Cliffie! Anyways, that was it. I'll just be over here, sipping like, my third cup of tea for the day and play, so if you need me, my PMs are always free and I'm usually online! Also, my IRL friend Cubs (we share an FF account, Peeta0BreadAndHumus), Nymph of Faeryland (formerly The Dark Fallen Fairy and Silversky247), and I started a writing forum! We're really excited about it, so I'll put the link in my profile if you want to check it out.
