Chapter 1
The Alien in the Storm
It hurts...
It hurts so much...
Lala Satalin Deviluke sobbed uncontrollably as she ran as fast as could out of the poolside with tears rolling down her cheeks, ignoring the cries of her sisters and friends as well as of the man she thought she loved and loved her equally back. She knew that Rito loved Haruna, his childhood friend, maybe even more so than she thought because he had had those feeling for so long.
But today, she had learnt something new, something that she should have realized a long time ago. Rito had no special or romantic feeling for her, the princess of Deviluke. He might think of her a good friend but that was about it, there was nothing special between them. When it finally hit her, when she saw Rito confessing his feeling for Haruna and then she accepted to be his girlfriend, it felt like the whole world had come crashing down on her. She was a carefree and optimistic girl, but when she saw that scene playing out right in front of her eyes, her heart arched and she could feel nothing but jealousy, anger but most of all sadness.
Running into the changing room, Lala grabbed her D-Dial and summoned her teleporting device, Pyon-Pyon Warp-Kun. The pain in her chest hurt even more when she looked at the device that materialized on her wrist, because it was the very invention that brought her to Rito and gave her so many happy moments with him and everyone. But that didn't matter anymore; all she cared about was to stay away from him, from everyone, and from this place as far as possible.
Where would Pyon-Pyon Warp-Kun take her? Lala didn't care. However, sooner or later her father would hear about this and immediately destroy the Earth like what he had vowed to do a long time ago so Lala did not need to be a genius to know that she still had to remain here on the planet if she wished to protect her dear friends.
As long as she remain on Earth, Lala thought, her father would never try to destroy it and kill her friends in the process. She didn't want her friends or anyone else on this planet and even Rito himself got killed by her father just because of her own naivety, her silly thoughts of finding true happiness and soul mate from Yuuki Rito.
"TAKE ME AWAY!" Lala cried and in a flash she disappeared before any of her sisters could reach her.
No more pain... Lala thought… no more…

"Man I hate Will Harangue!" Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, normally called Ben Tennyson, the now world famous Alien Hero muttered in annoyance as he shut down the radio of his car and continued to drive back to his home under the heavy rain of the storm. It hadn't even been two days since his secret of being a shape-shifting, super alien hero was revealed to the whole world and yet this William Harangue guy had already popped up and claimed that Ben 10 was nothing but a threat to humanity.
Kevin, his best friend, shouldn't have shown him the TV-show yesterday, Ben knew he had already gotten a lot problem to deal with, several of which including crimes, super villains and of course the always present threat of aliens invasions, and now he had to worry about a guy with a weird opinion about him and had been trying to make everyone view him negatively.
Ben couldn't help but wonder if the Plumbers would do anything about Will, because it was already bad enough that his secret had already been revealed to the entire United States Of America, and maybe the whole world by now.
"Let's see..." The shape shifting hero muttered as he reached his hand into the white basket lying on the front passenger seat next to him "Smoothies for three, check... Three bags of Chili Fries, check... hamburgers, here as well."
Because the popcorn stand had already closed due to the storm, Ben had gone to Mr. Smoothies to buy his most favorite foods and drinks, as well as some hamburgers for his best friend, who would pick his cousin up later so the three of them could have a movie night at his house, watching a new scary movie that the older male had somehow managed to his hands on from an alien studio that was specialize in film making. If the studio was half as good as Kevin had claimed it to be, Ben knew the team was up for a scary experience.
But then, Ben saw something sitting in the rain when he was about to take a left turn.
Or rather... someone...
The alien hero immediately stopped his car and drove it back slowly before stopping.
Sliding down the drive seat window, his eyes widen in surprise when he saw a young woman with abnormally pink hair, which did not look like it was dyed at all, sitting on the pavement under the heavy rain with only a rag cloak around her body, hugging her legs close to her chest while burying her face into her knees. She was shaking a bit, but beside that, Ben had no idea if she was being bothered by the storm or not.
Almost immediately, Ben turned off the engine of his vehicle, and reached behind him to grab the umbrella that he had left on the backseat before heading out to hurriedly walk over to the girl, who did not look like she had noticed him even after Ben had used the umbrella to cover them both from the rain.
"Hey hey, are you alright? What are you doing out here in a rain like this?" He asked with concern in his voice, and that was when the girl opened her eyes and looked up a little at him, giving Ben the idea she had been crying because of the red hue around her eyes. However, even if there was nothing but sadness in those beautiful green eyes, Ben felt his heart skip a beat when he looked at her face, realizing that this could be the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life.
"Hey, you will catch a cold if you stay out of the rain like this." Snapping himself out of the strange feeling she was making him feel with just her beauty alone, Ben lowered himself down on one knee and put his hand on her shoulder "Let's me take you home, alright?" she didn't reply.
"I'm Ben Tennyson, " Ben pointed at himself, deciding to take a different approach "What's your?"
"Lala... Deviluke..." Ben heard her answering. Her voice was soft and melodic, like a soft tune that he could get lost in.
"Okay then Lala, you..."
"I don't want to go home." She spoke up again, hugging her knees close to her chest and buried her face into her knees "I don't want to go home." She kept chanting, this time in Japanese, making Ben widen his eyes in surprise. His knowledge of the language was rather limited, but because he had taken up a class during his time with Julie to better understand her culture, he could understand what she was saying.
"Alright alright Lala, if you don't want to go home then what about my place?" The teen suggested "Anywhere is better than outdoor in a middle of the storm like this. " He said warmly and offered her his hand, which Lala looked unsure for a moment before she slowly reached out and put her wet hand onto his, allowing Ben to gently grab it and pull her up to her feet while still holding the cloak close to her body.
"Here, put this on." Ben removed his green jacket and handed it over to Lala. Before she took it, however, the girl suddenly dropped the cloak, revealing that she was stark naked underneath much to his shock.
The Alien Hero blushed furiously and immediately looked away, doing his best to not think about what he just saw.
"Thank you." Lala whispered with a small tone as she zipped up the green jacket. Ben was taller than her so his jacket was able to cover her down to just above her mid-thighs, which Ben was very thankful for.
"Okay let's go" Ben grabbed her hand gently and led her to his car, opening the backdoor the alien hero let Lala come and in and sit down comfortably before heading back to his own driver seat, turning on the heater to keep the inside warm for her before closing the door and stared driving back to his house. "My house is not far from here... It's just a few blocks away."
Ben told her as he looked at the pink haired girl through the rearview mirror, but Lala only nodded her head in response while kept starring out. Deciding to leave her alone for the time being, Ben focused his attention on the road and drove back home. It was rather fortunate that his parent wasn't at home tonight, else there would be a lot to explain if they found out that he brought a naked girl back home.
The girl, Lala, seemed like she did not recognize him, which was a good thing.
Maybe it was because she hadn't watched the news lately but Ben really didn't care about it that much.
Break
"Okay Lala, we're here. This is my home. " Ben informed as he grabbed the remote control of his garage door and opened the door, waiting for it to be fully opened to drive his vehicle in before turning off the engine. Getting out of his car first, Ben opened the backdoor and helped Lala get out. Her hair and body were still wet from the rain so Ben rushed into his house before returning a few second later with a dry towel "Here, use this."
"Thank you." Lala nodded her head and used the towel to dry her hair and clean her face. She would never catch an Earth cold, but she still did it anyway so the kind boy would know that she had accepted his kindness.
Crawling back into his car, Ben grabbed the basket of foods and drink and then his cellphone, from which he saw Kevin's message. Apparently, Gwen's parents had been very happy to see their daughter's boyfriend showing up at their house and since the storm was getting stronger and stronger, they had asked him for dinner with them.
"Well, it seemed that it will be just you and me tonight." Ben said and put his cellphone back into his pocket. As much as he had wanted to watch the movie, Ben was rather glad that Kevin and Gwen weren't going to come to his house tonight, since it would be very troublesome trying to explain to them about how he had found Lala, especially Kevin who would no doubt tease him to death first before listening to his story "Let's go, I will find you something to wear inside." His only choice would be his mother's clothing, and while she was a lot taller than Lala, it's still better than nothing.
"This is my room. You can wait here." Ben said as he let Lala into his room and let her take a seat on his bed before heading back out to go to his mother's room to find Lala some clothes to wear.
"I will." Lala whispered in a small tone after Ben left. Ben's room was bigger but also a whole lot messier than her ex-crush's room. Books, papers and sports gears lying all over the floor while the walls were filled with posters of a sumo wearing armor, which she recognized him as the main character from the video game Sumo Slammer, which Ben must be a huge fan of. There was also a trashcan that was filled bottles, bookcases that filled with action figures, which made her eyes widened because several of them were based on known alien species around the universe. There was also a computer, a flat screen TV and a large wardrobe on each side of the room and beside the bed.
There was also a picture about Ben with two other people, one having the same eye color as Ben's and must be his relative while the other was a muscular boy with black hair and a smug grin on his face.
Looking at them in the picture, Lala couldn't help but wonder what everyone was doing, even Rito and Haruna. Zastine had probably reported everything to her father and the princess had a feeling that he's already on his way searching for her just like her costume-robot Peke and her younger sisters. It would only be a matter of times before her father come to Earth himself once again to fulfill the promise he made a few months ago.
However, Lala knew that as long as she and her siblings were still on Earth, her father wouldn't do it at the risk of indirectly killing his own daughters too. She did not wish for this planet to be destroyed, and knew she needed more times to figure out a way to convince her father out of the idea of destroying it.
From the look of it, since Ben had spoken to her in English so it was possible that she was in America. Pyon-Pyon Warp-Kun had done a wonderful job at teleporting away from Japan as far as possible while making sure that she would remain on Earth.
"I found the clothes, hope it will suit you." Her eyes then returned to the door and saw Ben Tennyson walking with a black shirt and knee-length jeans in his hands. The teen then gave it to her before leaving his room again, allowing Lala to have some privacy as she changed.
It didn't take long for Lala to put on the clothes Ben gave her, since she had already gotten used to the ways of Earth's clothes. The clothes fit her perfectly, even though she still felt a bit tight around the chest, but the jeans still had some room for Lala to hide her tail. She was in an unfamiliar land, so it's hard for her to tell how people would react if they saw her tail and realized she wasn't Earthling.
Lala frowned in wonder, since when did she actually care about her identity being discovered like that?
The princess of Deviluke Empire smiled sadly. She could feel the tears rolling down her cheeks, her heart arching.
"Hey Lala, you finish?" Ben's voice snapped her out of her thought. Furiously wiped the tears away from her eyes and her cheeks, Lala answered as calm as possible.
"Yes, Ben-san." With that, Ben opened the door and walked in, carrying the white bag of foods in his hands.
"Are you comfortable," Ben asked with a kind tone and took his seat on the chair, taking the bottles of smoothie, boxes of Chili Fries and the hamburgers out of the bag and placing them on the table "with those clothes I mean?"
"Yes I am." Lala nodded her head "Thank you for your kindness, Ben-san."
"Don't sweat it. Always happy to help." the brunette boy smiled before he asked with an amused smile "Say… are you Japanese?"
"More or less yes." Lala nodded again. She didn't have an accent, so Ben must have noticed it from the way she addressed him, which mean Ben was familiar with the language.
"I see." Ben smiled before continuing "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing out there in the middle of a storm like that?"
Lala looked troubled and lowered her head down with sadness in her large green eyes, allowing Ben to know that he had somehow gotten on a sensitive topic "I'm sorry if..."
"No no it's alright." Lala shook her head "It just... I don't want to talk about it."
"You don't have to if you want." Ben shrugged as he grabbed a bottle of smoothie for himself "But if you want to pour it out, I will let you know that I'm a very good listener." That was far from the truth, but Lala looked like she needed someone to talk to and Ben was more than willing to lend his help to those who needed it in any way that he could "Are you hungry?" Ben then looked at the hamburger on the table before picking it up and handing it over to Lala "Here, have some."
"Thank you Ben-san"
"Ben is alright, it feels weird you know."
"Okay then, Ben" Lala nodded her head with a small smile before unwrapping the cover from the food. She paused for a moment with her eyes dazed away and a faraway look in them, before she looked at Ben and asked "Ben, are you in love with anyone?" That question almost made Ben choked on his own smoothie "Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Uh...yeah, used to I mean. We just broke up a few days ago." Lala's eyes widened slightly at that as Ben answered while hitting his chest "Her name is Julie. I heard she was dating this photographer guy… good for her."
"H-How can you act so normal like that?" Lala asked in bewilderment "I mean, weren't you in love with her?"
"Yes I were, and to tell the truth, I didn't mean to do it in the first place so I was very disappointed with my decision but... I got over it." Ben shook his head while scratching the back of his head. "She is with the better guy now."
"So... you're not angry at Julie-san?"
"Why should I? We made an agreement to be friends with each other. We are no longer dating but it's not like we can't be friends, you know."
"I see..." Lala trailed off with a small smile before taking a small bite from the hamburger in her hands. Ben looked at the pink haired girl for a second before he smiled. He would never claim to be an expert, but the brunette believed he had more or less figured out the basic idea of Lala's problem.
"I'm not a pro or anything but I know that you can't force someone to love you the same way you love them, Lala." Ben said as he finished his smoothie and grabbed another one "It's just...not possible you know, for two people that is no longer in love with each other, or do not love each other the same way in the first place."
"Ben..." a small smile appeared on her face after hearing that. It was almost like the words that had made Lala fell in love with Rito, but she could tell that Ben's words did not come out from the frustration and anger, but sincerity and kindness, making her feel as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulder, and calming the pain in her chest.
"I know it's not my place to tell you what to do, but you should always listen to the voice in your heart, okay?"
"Okay… thank you, Ben" Lala nodded her head with a soft smile. She felt a whole lot better now "Thank you for everything." She said and took another bite from the hamburger. It was delicious. Not as great as Mikan's cooking, but it was the best hamburger that she had had on Earth.
Ben smiled before offering Gwen's strawberry smoothie to Lala, "Mr. Smoothies?" he shook the bottle side to side before giving it over to the pink haired girl, whose eyes had gotten its light back.
"Thank you" Lala smiled softly and took the bottle from him.
"So exactly where are you..." But before he could ask that question, the cellphone in his left pocket went off and got his attention. Pulling it out Ben saw Kevin's name on the screen and pressed the answer button, bringing it close to his ear.
"What's up Kevin?"
"EMERGENCY!" Kevin's panic shout was so loud that even Lala could hear it, and Ben felt like he had just been punched in the eardrum "THE DEVILUKE IS HERE!" Lala almost dropped her half eaten hamburger and bottle of drink in shock when she heard that.
"Keep your damn voice down Kevin" Ben replied in annoyance "and what is Devilu..." He paused before snapping his head to Lala "wait a second...did you just say Deviluke?" He asked while looking at the bewilderment look on Lala's face.
"Yes! The freaking Deviluke! Monarch of the freaking galaxy!" Kevin shouted again "Are you watching the news?! Turn it on!" Ben immediately did what he was told and grabbed the remote control to turn on the TV.
"Which channel?"
"Every channel!" he heard Gwen's voice. It seemed she was in the shock as well.
As soon as the TV was turned on, Ben nearly spitted the smoothie he was drinking out of his mouth when he saw an entire battalion of spaceships hovering above the sky. Each ship was armed to the teeth with guns, cannons, and missiles and they were currently deploying troop of men wearing armors into the town.
Lala gasped in shock with her eyes widening in horror. She knew her father would make his move soon, but she didn't expect him to do it that fast and in such a short amount of time too. The number of battleships and soldiers he was using far exceeded every recording of the Galactic War she had seen. It was as if he was going to war.
"Are you sure those are not Vilgax's?"
"Trust me when I said we wished it was Vilgax Ben. They are the Devilukean." Kevin answered "I take that you didn't do your Plumber's homework, did you?"
"What about them?"
"They're the current ruler of the Galaxy, Ben." Ben's eyes widened in shock at that "After the Galactic Unification Wars led by Gid Lucione Deviluke, the empire has been holding absolute domination over all of the planets of the galaxy and its people. Before you started messing up Vilgax's plan of conquering the galaxy, the only reason he hadn't become the ruler of the entire Universe was because of the Deviluke Empire and its ruler, King Gid. I believe that the reason Vilgax has been aiming for the Omnitrix from the first days of its creation is because he needs enough firepower to fight against Deviluke Force and the king himself."
"Seriously?" Ben asked in shock.
"Did you know that they are also funding the Plumbers?"
"But why are they here?" Gwen asked into the phone "I read that the Deviluke has never paid attention to planets like Earth in the first place."
"Problem is, I think their King is here too." Kevin shook his head and said, as Ben listened closely on the conversation "There are rumors of his oldest daughter, the princess of Deviluke, being here on Earth so I think that the reason he is here with such a large army like that is because of her."
Ben slowly turned his head to Lala again with a forced smile, who was still gasping at what she was seeing on the TV.
"You gotta be kidding me, right?"
"What do you mean by that dude?" the Osmosian couldn't help but ask.
"Come over to my house now. I think it will be a lot easier for me to explain it to you guys." Ben said into the phone before ending the call without any other words.
Line Break
"So let's me get this straight," Kevin Ethan Levin spoke up sagely with his arms crossed on his chest "Few months ago, you ran away from home because your father, aka The King of the Galaxy forced you into meeting with your future husband candidates. You came to the Earth and fell in love with a dude Rito but unfortunately he was already in love with someone else. You once again ran away after you saw him confessing his love to that girl Haruna and now your father is here because he wants to say 'I told you so' and break this planet in half because he promised to do so if that dude broke your heart." He nodded his head as Lala, who was sitting on her bed with a nervous smile, having her tail fully revealed "We're screwed."
The black haired young man then turned his head to Ben and put a hand on his best friend's shoulder.
"Nice picking up a girl in the middle of the night dude." He gave Ben a thumb up, but the smile on his face showed that he wasn't amused.
Ben shook his head while having his arms crossed on his chest "Still, does he really have a weapon powerful enough to do that… are we talking about a death star level of weapon that or something?"
"That is the point here Ben, he doesn't need a weapon to do that." Gwen shook her head "The King alone can destroy an entire planet with his strength alone, and that's far from his maximum power." Ben dropped his jaw in shock. That alone was a lot more powerful than almost all of his transformations, with the exception of Alien X that was but Ben had never been able to control that form.
"The only reason that he hasn't done that yet is this girl." Kevin pointed his finger at Lala, making her flinch and lean back while smiling nervously "He probably brought his army here to make sure nothing will be standing in his way as he retrieves her before he personally smokes us with his power." Both Tennyson nodded their head in understanding.
"Wait wait wait," Lala brought her hands up and stopped them before any of them could speak up again. She felt that she had been left out of their conversation long enough " How can you three know so much about my planet and aliens activities like that? I thought Earthling didn't know anything about them yet?" she asked them, remembering her past experience with Rito and her friends, several of which couldn't believe that she was an alien.
"Do you know about Plumber?" Kevin asked while rubbing the back of his head.
"Yes, I have heard about them." Lala nodded her head, recalling the name from one of the books she read a while ago and from her father's conversation she overheard with his friends "They are like... the polices of the Universe right?"
"Intergalactic law enforcement organizations is the correct term for us." Kevin said and both him and Gwen pulled out their Plumber Badges from their pocket and showed it to Lala, who gasped in shock and amazement "We're Plumbers!"
"But... aren't you two too young for a job like that..." her eyes then turned to Ben "And What about Ben? Are you a Plumber too?" Her eyes then glanced down to the green gauntlet Ben wore around his wrist and saw the same simple on the badges Gwen and Kevin were holding. It surprised Lala that she didn't see something with a strange design gadget like that until now.
"More or less." Ben nodded his head before saying to his friend and cousin "But that is not important now, we must go to Sainan Town and convince Lala's father out of his idea of destroying Earth somehow. We can't just let him kill billions of life just like that." Both Gwen and Kevin nodded their heads in agreement.
"I'm sorry, this is my fault." Lala lowered her head in shame, tears threatening to fall from her eyes "I shouldn't have run away from home in the first place and cause everyone so much trouble like this."
"Don't be Lala." Gwen shook her head and sat down beside the girl, taking her hand into hers. "You have every reason to seek happiness on your own."
"Gwen is right." Ben nodded his head with a smile before pointing at himself, continuing rather cockily "You did what your heart told you to and all three of us respected that, even I would run away if I were you."
"Thank you Ben" Lala giggled with her cheeks dusted a little pink before looking at Gwen and Kevin "You two too, Gwen-san, Kevin-san."
"Don't worry princess, peace keeper is our job." Kevin smirked before turning to Ben "I think we should get going because time is running out, fast." Ben and Gwen nodded her head.
"You ready Lala?" Ben asked and offered her his hand "You're the only one that we can rely on with this mission." He smiled "Let's go talk some sense into your father alright?"
"Yeah." Lala nodded her head with a smile and took Ben's hands, her heart warming up when their hands touched.
Line Break
"Kevin-san, what does this button do?"
"Don't touch that." The Osmosian said blankly
"What about this?"
"Don't touch that either."
Ben, sitting on the one of the backseat of the Rust Bucket III, which Kevin was piloting, couldn't stop himself from letting himself chuckle lightly as he watched Lala dashing back and forth around the ship with her eyes shining with curiousness and excitement, looking so different than how she had been when he found her earlier.
Apparently from what Kevin had told him before taking off with the ship, Lala was very famous around the entire Universe not just for her incredible beauty but also for her genius level intelligence, and being an extraordinary inventor and mechanic expert. Lala had been very excited about The Rust Bucket III and she had been asking the owner, Kevin, nonstop about the ship right after she saw it.
Then suddenly, before Kevin could tell her to sit down, the light inside of the ship turned red, alerting everyone.
"Something is coming at us!" Kevin informed everyone loudly and looked into the radar, with the speed they were moving it didn't take long for it to appear on the screen "Two kilometers, one kilometer and..."
SMASH!
Something broke through the window and flew into the ship, Lala, being the one who was standing right on its path, got it slammed right into her stomach, knocking her back several feet before the princess managed to regain her balance by stomping her foot onto the ship's floor, causing all three members of team Alien Force to look at her in surprise because Lala didn't look like she was hurt from an impact like that.
"What the hell is that?" Kevin asked in annoyance while looking at the hole on the ship's windshield.
"It's Peke!" Lala cried out in happiness as she held the small robot in her hand. The robot was small and its body was almost completely white. It had a round head with two thick swirl shaped black eyes and visible no mouth and nose. Peke appeared like it was wearing a white jacket with yellow edge, with a blue shirt and red tie in between and sometimes devilish wings on its back.
"L-Lala-sama!" The robot spoke in a female tone before throwing itself into Lala's chest, as if it was crying "I finally found you!"
"It's alright Peke, I'm here now." She smiled to the robot and patted her head lightly "Everyone," she then looked up and pointed at Peke, who then flew out and floated beside Lala's head "This is Peke, my costume-robot."
The robot brought up her hand and waved.
"Lala-sama invented me. I'm Peke." And then turned back to her master and asked "Lala-sama, who is these people?"
"They are Plumbers, Peke!" Lala said excitedly and pointed her hand at Ben, who chuckled and waved a hand at them "And they are going to help me convince father out of destroying Earth."
"Plumbers?" The robot asked with surprise in her voice before turning back to the three, bowing her head apologetically "My deepest apology for being so rude to you."
"You don't have to worry about. I'm Gwen Tennyson." Gwen shook her head with a smile.
"The name is Kevin." Kevin said shortly and returned to pilot the rust bucket
"Peke, this is Ben Tennyson, he is the one who found me when I got to America!" before Ben could introduce himself, Lala happily did that for him while smiling to her robot.
"Uh... yeah, I'm Ben." Ben offered the robot his hand, which she took it and shook gently before going in a thinking pose, with her hand underneath her round chin.
"Ben Tennyson? I think I heard your name somewhere before..." the robot trailed off, making everyone to widen their eyes in surprise, Lala included. The princess was about to ask about it when suddenly Peke turn to her with a rather angry face, hands on her hips "Lala-sama! what were you thinking running away like that?" she asked with a loud voice "Everyone is very worried about you and now, your father is here and it is taking both of your sisters to stop Gid-sama from allowing his army to kill every single human to find you."
"I'm sorry Peke, but it was something I had to do. I wasn't thinking straight back then." The princess of the Galaxy shook her head, her eyes casted to Ben for a moment before she continued "But I'm okay now Peke. You don't have to worry about me anymore" She said with a hand on her chest, making her costume robot look at her master in surprise. She could see something entirely different from Lala. She could not place it, but her creator felt more… mature, and had so much more confident than before.
"I... see. I believe you, Lala-sama"
"Hey watch out guys, approaching ground zero in 3...2...1." Kevin spoke up and Sainan Town finally came into view, with thousands of warships hovering above the town, destroying every fighter jet within its range. On the ground below it looked like a warzone between Devilukean soldiers and the Sainan Police Department, who was being assisted by the national military forces. However, To say it was a one side battle would be an understatement, because each alien soldier could easily lift a whole tank by themselves and threw it away, not to mention that they were also completely bulletproofed.
"Sweet Jesus… your father must be very angry, Lala." Ben said slowly as he looked at the warzone below. The pink haired girl nodded her head and let Peke changed into her normal costume.
"I'm going to go check on Rito and the others." Lala said as bat like wings appeared on her back and brought her up from the ground, floating in midair much to Ben's surprise "Father will probably search for him first... to... you know..." She trailed off, not wanting to say the word.
"Execute is the word you are looking for, princess." Kevin spoke up, causing Gwen to punch him in the arm for his lack of delicacy.
"Punish." Lala shook her head before asking "Can you open a door for me?"
"Wait...I'm coming with you. We cannot let anything happen to you before we can make it to King Gid." Ben said and stood up from his seat, coming to stand next to Lala.
"Huh? Lala asked in surprise "Can you fly?"
"Kind of..." Ben winked mysteriously before turning around as the trap door above his head opened "Kevin, contact Grandpa Max and the Plumbers. If the situation get worse, he will know what to do. I don't care if they are funding the Plumbers or the ruler of the universe but... doing this is wrong."
"I will buddy." Kevin nodded his head firmly.
"Good luck Ben. We will come as soon as we can." Ben's cousin smiled to him, who then nodded his head and lifted his sleeve up.
Lala stared at the gauntlet on Ben's wrist in curiosity before she gasped in surprise when Ben pressed a button and caused the dial to pop up, emitting a green light with hologram image of an alien that greatly resembled a dinosaur. The brunette then twisted the dial slightly, making the image switch and change rapidly before stopping at a creature with wings.
"I-It...couldn't be…" Peke gasped in shock.
"Try to keep up, Lala, Peke." Ben Tennyson smirked at the two and raised his hand above his head "It's hero time!" before slamming it down, pushing the dial back to the gauntlet.
In flash of green light, standing in the spot next to Lala was no longer the kind American boy she met just a few hours ago but a red, humanoid, manta ray like alien with two black lightning bolt like stripes coming down from his shoulders to the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest, yellow horns extending from his nose, gills underneath his arms and yellow patagia.
"Jetray!" Ben cried out.
"Whoa!" Lala gasped in amazement.
"Ben Tennyson...as in BEN TEN?!" Peke cried out in shock while mentally holding her head. How could she not remember? Ben Tennyson's name and his heroic deeds were literally everywhere around the Universe now.
"Time to move." Jetray said to Lala before shooting into the air with extremely speed.
"Lala-sama... he... he is..." the robot stuttered.
"You can tell while we fly Peke" Lala smiled and shot into the air as well, following closely behind Jetray as the two of them approached the street below "He is so cool!" She couldn't help but say that.
