Hiya! Hope you're doing well, and staying safe.
I'm here with a new chapter to hopefully keep you entertained (although I assume Netflix does a better job than I do)
Cheers!

Chapter 9:
The fire flickered, warming everyone. All the campers were singing the same camp songs they had all sung 50 years ago. The warm light reflected in Annabeth's grey eyes, as she leaned against Percy, enjoying the peace. Rachel sat on her other side, and Chiron stood on the other side of her.
"How grandma got dressed for war!" the camp sang, and Morgan, a daughter of Apollo, gave one last strum on her lyre to end the song, and everyone began laughing.
The senior demigods and the oracle all smiled at the joy in front of them, but Percy turned toward the other two.
"It's strange, don't you think? Four new half-bloods in one day? It just feels like the beginning of the end of the world."
Annabeth nodded. "You know what it really reminds me of? The day Jason, Piper, and Leo got here. They were all claimed right away, and the next day, all three were off on a quest."
Rachel added her approval. "It's been harder to tell when a prophecy is coming since Lord Apollo freed Delphi. But this one is just a gut feeling. Something's brewing. I don't like it. And worse, I still haven't been able to find her."
"But Apollo said the one to be the new host of the spirit would come to camp soon. She has to come soon enough."
"Percy, the host of Delphi is mortal. She won't just come here. If she's going to come to camp, I need to find her."
Rachel took in a breath, that had a bit of a raspy undertone. "So, I need to go out into the world."
Annabeth shook her head vehemently. "Rachel, we all promised each other we would stop going out on quests."
"I need to find her. If I don't, Delphi will be stuck in me, even after I die. And as much as I love being the Oracle, I couldn't stand to be another mummy in the attic, it just doesn't sound like me-"
As she had been speaking, her jade green light had begun to swirl around her, and the rattle of a nest of snakes filled the air. She began to slide over, the spirit of Delphi taking over. Upon noticing, two campers immediately sprang up, one grabbing Rachel, the other skittering away, returning with a three-legged stool. Once she was set down on the tripod, she sat bolt upright, and a voice nothing like Rachel's came out of the Oracle's mouth.
Siblings opposed as cold and heat
Now join with madness, the rain and the vengeance
Advised by the ones who came before, to beat
The chaos now emergence
Mayhem strikes now at its own toys
The pillars that hold up that very creation
Only stopped by the envoy
But will still reign in consternation
The last prophecy this Oracle will ever know
Unless to the Net's house, these five will go.
Upon the last words coming out of her mouth, she fell back over, the green light fading with the sound of snakes hissing. Her helpers took care of her, taking her away from the fire to recover.
Dead silence. No one spoke. Bri stood up. "Okay, so scary prophecy. What are we going to do about it guys?"
Chiron clopped forward. "Nothing right now Bri." he turned toward the fearful crowd. "All counselors to the big house! Everyone else to bed!"
Annabeth stood up with her husband, who summoned their ride-neither wanted to use a cane or wheelchair. Sombra, their black pegasus and a descendant of Blackjack, swooped in. They climbed on, and the winged horse brought them to the big house, where they waited in the rec room for the camp counselors.
There was no slow trickling in. All of them burst through the doors at once.
"Percy, Miss Annabeth-"
"The last prophecy the Oracle will know?"
"What are the pillars of creation-"
"Clearly there's going to be a quest-"
"DEMIGODS!" Chiron yelled, "Please sit down and compose yourselves. We need to discuss this in as orderly a manner as possible."
With much shuffling and muttering, they sat around the ping pong table.
"Obviously, we need a quest-with five people, that was the last two lines." Bri spoke up. "I mean, 'the last prophecy this Oracle will know unless to the Net's house these five will go?' Five people. And I think I'm one of them."
Everyone at the table exploded again, with shouts of protest, all exclaiming how unfair it was, and how much they all also wanted to, before they held her hand out, palm up, displaying a miniature raincloud they had summoned. "It's what the prophecy says! 'Siblings opposed as cold and heat, now join with madness, the rain and the vengeance?' Those are the five people! And unless anyone else at this table can produce thunderstorms, I'm the rain."
There were a few more mutterings, before everyone seemed to accept it and sit down.
"Siblings opposed as cold and heat. That's my sister and I." Caleb spoke up. Campers turned to look at the son of Khione. "Well it's right, isn't it? From what I've learned people hear are half-siblings because of their godly parent, but if they're opposed as cold and heat, they would have different godly parents. So for them to be siblings, they would have to have the same mortal parent. And if I'm cold, and she's the daughter of the sun god…" he gave a confused shrug, with the question, 'Right?' clearly implied.
After an uncomfortable silence, Annabeth cut in, "He's right. That just leaves madness and vengeance."
"Okay." Percy continued, "Then who are the other members supposed to be? Obviously madness is Dionysus and vengeance is Nemesis. Sam and Liam are the head counselors from those cabins-"
"No, Dad." Marianne sighed, "It's the other two new ones." When everyone turned to look at her confused, she stared back like it should be obvious. "Well it is! I mean, four half-bloods all claimed the day they get to camp? A prophecy announcing the Oracle will end unless the quest is completed? The prophecy names it's participants, and the four new half-bloods parents are all mentioned? That's so obviously what's going on."
Even more uncomfortable silence. "Fine." Chiron said with finality. "The quest will have a party of five consisting of Caleb and Jo Lynk, Ian Malark, Bri Trenton, and Jess Tewers. Morgan, Sam, and Liam, would you please fetch them and bring them back here?" Three half-bloods got up to get their half-siblings and inform them of their new quest. "The real question is, what is the threat?"
"Let's take it line by line." the Athena boy piped up. "We already know the first two, they name the heroes. So next is, 'Advised by the ones who came before.'"
"Of course!" Percy said, and slapped his hand on the table. He turned to Annabeth. "We came before. Our friends came before! And if they need to go to the Net's house…"
"The House of the Nets! The Waystation!" Annabeth finished, "Leo! They need to get to Leo, and get his advice or something to find out what to do next. The goal is the Waystation!"
Bri nodded. "Fine. The Waystation it is. Then next is, 'to beat the chaos now emergence'"
Chiron flicked his tail. "Children, the chaos may be more serious than you know. Have you noticed that chaos appears three times in the prophecy? Once now, as you have said. Then, it appears as mayhem, and we are told it strikes at its own toys. Finally, we are said it still reigns in consternation. My other reservation is the use of the word creation. You see, far back the creator of the world for the Greeks was the god…."
He didn't need to finish. The weight of his statement fell onto his pupils like a wet blanket.
"Are...are you saying...our opponent is the creator of everything? How are we supposed to fight that?!" someone in the back shouted out.
"It...it isn't certain. But it is a possibility. For now, your goal is to get to Indianapolis, and learn whatever you can from Leo."
"And Calypso." Marianne cut in, "If it is an enemy so old we don't know, then she might be our best source of information."
"Who's Calypso?" Jo asked. She stood in the doorway, flanked by both Jess and Ian. "And what do you mean we're going on a quest?"
Author's Note:
….cliffhanger?
