No, this is not a Self Insert story, even if the Pen Name is the same as the character used. The only reason it's that way nowadays, is simply because of the Discord I am on.

As for the reason it's solely in the RWBY Archive? I believe there is more activity there compared to the crossover section.

These characters will be the Onlypeople you will see from SW, and they are OCs from a forum I role playon, with one of them belonging to my friend who goes by the same moniker of Darth Savathûn, so, do not worry on that front, nor will they be Uber powerful.

So, let's give this a Whirl, Shall

Planet Remnant, Outer Space.

There were all kinds of things that could happen when in transit through hyperspace. Input coords wrong, you could bounce into a Supernova, or skip right into the dirt of a planet and none would find the remains. The Engine could overheat, or the motivator could blow up with the compressor, and parts of you could end up in separate Star systems. It was a daunting way to think of the task that has not failed in recent years. But stuff going on for Varyks Ren, that was a far different rancor in the building that he barely understood. He ended up zero control over any instruments on his screen as the ship hurtled through the rip that had somehow busted through his path, and there was a loud noise that was heard deep in his bones as the ship lurched from lightspeed and threw the young man through space around Remnant.

He must have lost consciousness because the next thing he heard was the alarms screaming as his ship began to pass through some kind of debris field. A quick scan and flash of hand movements showed him that it was some kind of moon, orbiting an unknown planet. His brows furrowed under the mask he wore, and he noted that the chronometer was completely scuffed, the hours and minutes flashing through numbers and punctuation marks. All he could do was grab the controls and pass right through the broken moon that hung over the planet, and he quickly regretted firing the engines up, more alarms screaming as his engines gave some forward momentum, enough to keep him in the Gravity Well of the planet before him. He cursed every known deity as that planet showed that the Dark side of the rotation had lights dotting it.

Which meant life. Sentient life.

It remained to be seen though if this life would be hostile to him or not, but he had a feeling that there would be no such reprieve for the likes of him, there was always something trying to kill him. He didn't have to be a genius to know that. But instead of worrying about it, he diverted some of the power from aft shields, pulling his mask on as he went to the back to try and salvage some of the engines.

He was there for all of ten seconds, ready to let his frustrations go as the ship quaked, and he was jostled around, hitting his face on the wall and hearing a harsh crack as his mask took the impact. Clambering back to the cockpit, he sat in the seat and wrestled with the controls as he brought the ship down through the moon's debris. It was likely why he was bumped around so hard, and he idly wondered why the moon was so messed up. Focused on the task at hand, the young man looked down at the planet below, pushing the levers back to try and make sure the shields were holding up.

The hull shook while flames streaked past the viewport while he pushed the controls lower, fighting it to keep it from dropping like a stone while buzzing into the cloud layer below. Alarms continued to go off, warning him that the shield generator had completely fizzled out and he was losing power all over the place. He didn't like it in the slightest, and after coming out of the clouds, he could see a massive city coming up. He didn't hear any signals incoming, and no fighters were coming in, so he had hoped the masking device was working. It pleased him greatly that he could see the ship remain level for a safe amount of time, and he kept his hand on the manual controls, searching for a place to land…

Unfortunately, the holding up did not last at all. The ship dipped to the right and started to spiral slightly, non responsive to his heavy pulls and yanks of the stick. "No, no…" He grunted as he tried to use the Force to straighten the ship out, and as soon as he straightened up, trees climbing higher into the frame. He cursed, unable to stop and he barely had time to brace as he came down hard, the ship rattling off the massive trees and turning over, sliding to a halt and kicking up dust and rock. Alarms were still blaring, but Varyks pushed himself up, grunting softly while he did and then he glanced around, not liking the smell that he was catching on to. Calling his torch to his hand, he lit the lamp and began to search for anything else that he needed, there was nothing else he could do for the ship, and knew that he had to scuttle it before anyone found it. Pulling out everything he had, blaster pistol and rifle, charge cells, and a charging cable and generator for his weapon as well, tossing them into his bag as he looked over to the cargo bay. He knew that he couldn't just leave his cargo, but...

There was an explosion, small, but one that would be a sign of more to come. A curse left him as he gathered the Force into his hand and thrust his hand forward, blasting the ramp clean off it's latches, the cool air coming into the heating interior. He threw the bag out first, looking back to the torn interior, before he threw his thermal detonator toward the engines, leaping out of the hole and grabbing his bag before he went around the cover of a tree.

The resulting explosion was enough to completely annihilate the immediate area, and the top of the trees were aflame as Varyks began to run, making his way up into the trees and towards the city he'd seen. Emergency services were already headed that way in flying ships that reminded him slightly of Clone Wars era LAATs, but far more rounded and primitive. He barely heard the hissing of a creature as he ducked under a swipe, massive black paws with white tipped claws nearly took his head off had he not moved and he pulled out his pistol, firing at the body of said paw. A howl answered the unspoken question as the body fell, a sizzling noise being heard as it began to fade away. He caught a glimpse of the face, a lupine creature with a bone white face mask and black fur that would have bade fear to him were he any other man.

There were more, sneaking out of the trees, as well as a larger one that he saw as likely an alpha. They were all looking at him with… not hunger, but hate. As if they were coming for him out of sheer spite.

The Dark Side roiled within him, but he found pause in that moment and he couldn't help but feel confusion. He couldn't feel Snoke, or The Ren… He could only feel the darkness that came from the creatures and something far away on this planet.

But over all, he could feel freedom. There were no strings holding him back, no presence keeping him from progressing. The Young man took a deep breath, and the Force was with him entirely, a grin forming on his lips as he put the blaster away and then he reached into his cloak, drawing the cylinder from within and with a slight flourish, held it out to the side, a beam of red plasma coming from the emitter and bathing the area in a red glow, a deep thrum sounding, with a lighter humming noise accompanying every swipe. Without a word, he tipped his head as the creatures surrounded him, and he lunged, bringing the blade around with ferocity as he cut down one of them with ease, dodging swipes and bites and in turn, slicing off limbs and heads. The numbers were dwindling, and a howl caught his attention.

Along with more red eyes.

They were going to keep coming…

Pain erupted in his shoulder and he let out a pained yelp as one came up behind and locked on to his shoulder, throwing him several meters down the hill, his lightsaber extinguishing and rolling away. He hit the ground hard enough that he saw stars, and his anger billowed, pushing himself back up against a rock, calling his blade back to him.

Instead of igniting it, he jumped away from the impending attack and retreated a distance before he faced the massive group. He was not going to die to overgrown wolves, and that anger began to manifest into a physical form, electricity dancing across his arms as the air began to charge. Some stopped in curiosity, others kept charging him, and as they got in close…

It was as if the skies had opened up during a massive lightning storm.

Varyks loosed a storm of lightning against the creatures, the bolts arcing across each of them as he let out a roar. Some of the creatures were instantly killed, vaporized, others howled in pain.

The attack took some steam out of him, added to the fact he was bleeding on his shoulder, and once he was satisfied by the deaths of the creatures, he ended the storm, falling to one knee.

'Breathe, Varyks… Get to the city…' He told himself, pushing himself back up.

He heard a massive crack as he felt the sense of danger, only for a creature to fall next to him with its head missing. How he had missed it, he had no clue, but he didn't question it as he saw someone approach. It was a male, right around the same age as he was, fair skinned, tall, dressed rather nice despite holding a large rifle that looked like a Slugthrower. The male slung it over his back to show he was no threat to Varyks.

"You're wounded…"

Observant. "Yes." Varyks responded. At least the human spoke basic.

He nodded, motioning for him to come closer. "I don't know if that was your semblance but I'm sure you could have ran with your aura in the red…"

Semblance? Aura? What was that? "I would have been fine."

"You would have been overrun by those Beowulves." Ah, that was the name of those? "But whatever you did to them was… interesting to say the least. Now, if you don't mind, I would very much like to get you to an actual medical professional, because I do not have such skills." The young man said to Varyks. "We don't need more Grimm coming."

Varyks gleaned at least some information, Beowulves, Semblance, Aura… Grimm. That was the name of those creatures. He remained silent, looking for the bag and reaching out when the man turned, pulling the bag to his hands. He carefully put his lightsaber into it, before he closed it up and locked it. He had full confidence they would not be able to get into it.

He grunted and began to follow. "Your name?" He called out.

"Stygian… Stygian Nero." Stygian returned, looking back at Varyks. "You?"

Varyks was quiet. There was no way they could trace his name back to the First Order… "Varyks Ren." He responded.

Thirty minutes earlier

The young woman was far from amused, even when it came to amusement from tearing down the wills of her prey. She had underestimated her opponent, and now she was confined to this hole. She waited, biding her time as the Force began to warn her of danger that was incoming more and more each passing second. The sudden lurching from being ripped out through whatever pulled the ship through was enough to make her head hurt, and she felt the grate open, allowing her freedom.

The boy was foolish enough to leave the blade nearby, and she reached out, grasping her weapon in the Force before she ignited it and was about to move, until the ship jerked again and she went back into the crates. She hissed and began to get back up, feeling the atmosphere burning through the vibrations through the ship itself. Once it leveled out, she could hear it, the air was pulling into the ship, and she felt life, everywhere…

And darkness. Oh, how she reveled in it.

She called the weapon back to her hand, the purple blade sinking into the hatch and popping it open. Light poured in, and she climbed up as wind whipped through her dark hair, the air easily cooling her while she looked at the land mass approaching.

She may not have known where she was, but she didn't care, and with a mighty jump, she dove towards the ground, seeing the trees rushing towards her, and pulling on the Force, she used it to slow herself considerably, landing on the branches and jumping down, several times avoiding the sharper small twigs. She landed on the ground finally, the leaves blowing away as she landed and looked around for a moment.

That ship was dead to rights, and she didn't care, the only thing she wanted was to run her blade through him and end his pathetic life. "Now to find out where I am…"

She pulled her hood up, shrouding her face as she stalked through the woods, observing the area with a keen eye before stepping into a clearing that led up to a stone slab. She couldn't help the curiosity that came over her, and approached the stone, waving her hand to knock the leaves away with the Force and she studied it closely.

Upon it was an engraved rose of some sort, and the words she almost could not understand because of their writing style.

Summer Rose

Thus Kindly I Scatter.

Whomever it was, they cared greatly for them, and she stood up slowly. Perhaps she could see about the ones who laid her to rest here, but the fast approaching presence she felt was soon to make her wondering cease.

They suddenly stopped behind her, suddenly hesitant and entirely cautious of the person at the memorial, and with a cautious step forward, they spoke up. "Um, Excuse me, but… What are you doing here? Who are you?"

The young woman turned to look at the girl in observation of her stature and clothing, short, black-to-red hair, silver eyes, dressed in a black long-sleeved blouse with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, with a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a matching skirt with red lining. She also wore a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, red trims around the top, and red soles.

Her outfit was topped by a red hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders by cross-shaped pins and she could see the same symbol of the gravestone.

"Oh, I am truly sorry to impose. I got lost, you see… I fear I am far from home." She spoke, tone was low, but carried enough influence for it to be believable. But she could sense this girl was smart, very much so, in spite of her youth.

She seemed to take to the story. "Oh! Okay! Well, you are on Patch! It's not too far from Vale, if that's not where you are from. I'm about to actually head back so I can go to school, so you could come with!"

The young woman gave a slight smile. "Is that so? Very well, then." She stepped off to the side, and sensed danger coming fast, the shapes of black creatures coming in rapidly was enough for her to straighten up. "It seems we have company."

The Girl quickly turned and looked over to see the Grimm coming, and she pulled out some sort of contraption that unfolded into a Scythe like weapon as large as she was, and she prepared herself. "I'm Ruby, by the way…"

The young woman smirked. "I am Quaria Vermeiluna. But you may call me Savathûn, my dear." She said as her hands came from her robes. Such creatures could not withstand her power, and she was going to demonstrate just why.

Ruby went off to the side, attacking a group head on, whilst Savathûn lifted her fingers, crushing one of the Grimm with ease and throwing it to the side, stalking forward and uprooting a tree before she began to use it to crush and sweep them away, slamming it down before she then held her hand out to blast the Grimm into the downed tree, impaling them on the tree limbs.

Ruby was too busy slicing through the Grimm to lose focus, and once it was all over and done, the Grimm bodies began disappearing. She gazed over, seeing Savathûn pushing the tree away and clearing the location away. "Woah… Is that your semblance?!"

Savathûn gave a small huff, her bloodlust not yet sated, but for the sake of keeping appearances... "Indeed it is, Ruby… You seem to have one of speed, it would seem." She of course had no clue what a semblance was, but it saved her from too many unneeded questions. "So… you were saying something about going to Vale?"

"Oh, Yeah! Let's head to my place, I'm sure we can figure it out!" Ruby said as she put her scythe away, compacting it down into a neat box.

Interesting.

Savathûn gave her a smile and a nod. "Very well. Lead on, Ruby Rose."

Ruby beamed, but she couldn't help the unease that came from talking to Savathûn.

And that's the end of that one.

I'll be updating as I go, this is mainly a story to keep my mind going as of late. Business, stress and all that keep me kinda…

Needing a way out. Lol. So, I hope you enjoy what is to come. I enjoy writing these.
