Shout out to captainMcSchizzle, thank you so much for all your support! It means a lot. I would love to hear any other ideas you have for the story.
Percy
Percy followed Harry and Ron up the stairs to the bedrooms. They were laughing over some weird occurrence they had on their trip to find Annabeth and Percy.
He was given everything he needed, such as bathroom supplies, clothing, and other sorts he would need.
"We are going to hang out and chat a bit, wanna join us?" whispered Ron, he had to make sure to be considerate of the other boys who were in deep sleep.
"Thank you, but I think I'm going to go to bed. It's been a weird day," Percy replied, keeping a non-cholance tone in his voice. Although he really was tired, he needed some time to get his thoughts straight. It felt like it had been a week, but it had really been a month so he was told.
While Harry and Ron went into the commons to talk, Percy hid himself under the comfort of blankets.
He was able to fall asleep with great ease the moment his head hit the pillow.
It was the middle of the night when Percy woke up, everything was dead silent, and that bothered him.
He slipped his legs out from under the sheets and crept out of the room. He wore a navy blue swim team hoodie, and workout pants. He hadn't remembered bringing the hoodie along, but he just brushed it off with the idea that Annabeth probably packed it for him.
Percy left the room of loudly snoring boys. He wandered aimlessly around until he noticed that he was in that same hall that had given him the creeps before.
Percy turned around in a full circle not understanding how he made it there.
"Percy…" whispered a soft voice.
Percy turned around again.
"Percy!" The voice started sobbing. Only then did he realise it was Annabeth's voice.
"Percy!" she sobbed, "Help!"
Panic rose in Percy's chest. He yelled, "Annabeth!?"
She screamed this time, "PERCY!"
The scream sent a sharp shudder all through his body. He turned again and found Annabeth being pressed against a wall with a knife held to her throat. The figure in the hood grabbed her arms and forced her to the edge of an open window.
"Per-," Annabeth was cut off by the knife being pressed harder against her throat.
Finally movement urged his body forward. The mysterious figure turned his head at the sight of Percy barrowling towards him. Just before Percy was able to reach her, she was thrown out the window. Her screams following her.
Without hesitation Percy dove out of the window trying to catch her.
Percy was able to grab her and pull her closer as they fell, but before he knew it her body turned to mist and disappeared. Percy yelled as the ground came closer, and before he knew it, everything went black.
Annabeth gasped and shot straight up in her bed. She was drenched in sweat, her breathing coming in panicked gasps of air. She swiped at the hair that was matted down to her forehead.
Hermione
Hermione was a light sleeper, and thankfully had heard Annabeth. She quickly got out of her bed and sat beside Annabeth trying to calm her down before she woke any of the other girls.
"Annabeth, what's wrong?" She held onto her friends shoulders.
Annabeth's breaths kept coming in big gulps. "Somethi.. " she gasped, "It's Percy. I need to find Per.." She trailed off.
Without any other knowledge of what to do, she helped Annabeth stand up. Their white nightgowns draping to their knees.
After she led Annabeth out of the girls bedroom, Annabeth grabbed her hand and yanked her out of the girl's dormitories.
She ran across the hall to the boy's dorms, pulling Hermione along with her.
Before she could enter the boys' room, Hermione yanked her back.
"Wait! We have to be careful not to wake any of the other kids. I know where Harry's bed is, we'll go wake him up. Be very quiet."
Annabeth nodded.
Hermione kept a firm grip on Annabeth as they weaved past the beds.
They crept up beside Harry's bedside and shook him gently.
He groaned, "What…?"
"Annabeth needs to talk to Percy. Can you please show us where he is sleeping?"
Harry let a very audible groan, clearly frustrated. He threw off his covers and put on his glasses before leading them over to Percy's bed.
"Lumos," He spoke, his wand instantly creating a dim light. He shined it on Percy's bed to find their friend was not there.
