Fluffy Drabble Warning
Chapter 2- Paper cut
Beck and Jade were annoying each other again. As was usual for them, of course.
"Beck. I'm bored. Let's stop this." Jade's cold voice filled the small RV.
They immediately dropped the case, snuggling into one another on the small sofa.
Beck picked up a magazine from the countertop beside him.
Jade snorted. "That magazine is for girls. That are what... 10 years old?"
Beck gazed at her in disbelief. Gazed at the magazine cover. Jade. Cover. Jade. Cover.
"But... this week's issue was so interesting... the cat... it was friends with a hamster... look... ok. Look." He concluded, regaining a somewhat shaken composure. "17 year old boys can read this too, if they so wish."
This caused explosive laughter to erupt from inside of Jade.
Standing up, she said "Hand it over."
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No Jade! Let go!"
"Give it to me!"
They went on in a similar fashion until Jade managed to pry the magazine out of his strong clutch. Beck sat down in defeat as Jade deposited the offending pink magazine into the trash.
"Owiee," Beck squeaked, clutching his finger.
"Whattie?" Jade teased, sitting beside him again.
"You gave me a papercut," pouted Beck.
"Oh my poor wittle baby Beckins," cooed Jade, pulling his head into her chest, cradling it and rocking him to and fro, giving him little head kisses all the while. Beck played along, he loved being close to her.
Taking his hand in hers, she kissed his afflicted finger, murmuring "My poor little Becky. Poor poor Becky."
"I love you my little Becky." This was the last thing Beck heard before Jade fell asleep, slumped against him, their hands never breaking contact. Beck wasn't far behind her, and one thing was for sure. His paper cut hurt a lot less now.
Maybe he should get them more often.
