Fluffy Drabble Warning
Sunset - Chapter 3
When Jade had said she was going to take him out on a date, he didn't know it was going to be this special. Of course anywhere he went with Jade was "special" but he loved how much effort she had made with this date.
They shared a rug, and a picnic Jade had made herself. They were at a park, and it was nearing night time. They had planned to watch the sunset together.
Jade gave an involuntary shiver at the cold breeze in the warm air tickling her bare arms. Being the gentleman that he is, Beck removed his jacket and placed it around her shoulders. He saw her glance up at him and smile, instantly stifling it, hoping he didn't catch her being a "sap." Smiling to himself, he sat himself behind his girlfriend, wrapping her in his arms. She relaxed into his chest, leaning against him.
"It's beautiful," breathed Jade.
"Doesn't compare to you."
"Sap," she answered, but with a wide grin plastered on her face. She snuggled into his embrace more, and he held her tighter as they watched the sun slowly slide down the dimming sky.
Just before the sun completely disappeared, the two shared a kiss, their minds only on the beauty of nature, and the person they loved.
Yeah. Sunsets sure are magical.
