Hey, so I know I haven't been uploading, but unfortunately I haven't had the time to lately. Thankfully I don't have online school to worry about anymore.

Twilight

The twilight was always a special thing, but nobody could say they loved this time of the day more than Beck and Jade. They mostly always watched it together, because, although neither mentioned it, (though the non verbal approach to the memory definitely didn't mean they weren't both thinking A LOT about it) the twilight was the first time that Beck and Jade properly laid eyes on one another.

~Flashback~

Beck had been in his RV, relaxing, when he became hungry. Realizing he had missed dinner, that he usually went inside his parents' house for, he then soon realized there was nothing salvable in there with him in the RV to eat. Deciding to go to the nearest 24 hour grocery store, he jumped in his truck.

Can of soup and a loaf of bread in his hand, he was walking to his car when he heard something from behind a tree. It sounded like... crying? Deciding to investigate, as Beck hated the idea of anyone suffering, friend or foe, he headed towards the noise. Sitting behind the tree in question, there was a girl. She seemed to be cradling her arm. Trying not to startle her, he came behind the trunk of the tree with her and softly said, "Hey."

She looked up at him for the first time, and seemed to try to jump up to defend herself, but found that she was too weak, so she just mumbled half-heartedly, "Go away."

Well, Beck was not about to do that.

Sliding down to sit with her, he finally got a chance to look fully at her face.

"Wait," he started. "I know who you are." Her eyes lit up a bit at this. "Jade. Hollywood Arts, right? You're so talented you know."

"You're Beck." She breathed.

"Correct. Are you ok?"

"Yes." she stated, defiantly.

Ok, that was obviously a lie. "No you're not."

"Fine."

"Fine?"

She nodded.

"Ok. You're coming with me."

Normally Jade would have objected, but she was plainly exhausted, so she complied. Beck took her back to his RV and fixed her up as best as he could, and she told him what had happened. Her father didn't always treat her right, but this was the first time he had actually physically hurt her, hence her arm. Beck told her to always come to him if anything happened. She laughed at him for that, but the two grew undoubtedly closer, and it was the first time in her life that Jade actually had a proper friend. They started dating a few weeks later, and since then Jade had admitted that she had had a crush on Beck for ages before this, but thought she never stood a chance against all the "pretty girls" and had deemed herself stupid. Oh how wrong she had been, although she still didn't believe she had been sometimes.

~End of Flashback~

Jade was now outside Beck's RV, gazing at the twilight, leaning against his chest with her legs draped across his. Beck had his arms encircled around Jade, breathing in the scent of her hair. "Hey, remember..." Jade started, not really planning on finishing her sentence.

"Yes." Beck breathed.

The twilight holds memories. Especially for Beck and Jade.
