Next day at Rachel's house

Rachel wakes up the next morning, and the first thing that comes into her mind is,"Am I in love with Quinn Fabray?"

"No I am not! Although it would be perfectly normal if I was right? I mean she's smart, kind of nice and VERY pretty, so even if I'm in love with her, I don't have to be ashamed." She thinks while getting ready for school.

"But still I do NOT have a crush on Quinn and I never will. Or maybe the need of constantly reminding myself that I'm not in love with her is because I am, but I just don't want to admit it."

"Rachel? Rachel!" She hears LeRoy call out her name, and she realized that she's already in the kitchen eating breakfast.

"What were you thinking of?" LeRoy asks.

"Quinn." Rachel answers, and she regrets it right after.

"And why are you thinking about her?" Hiram asks this time with a smirk on his face.

"I-I-I was thinking about her because..." She needs an excuse, she is not going to tell her dads that she was wondering she was in love with Quinn. "Because she's coming tonight to help me with my math."

"Oh! So, when is she coming by?"

"Right after school. We'll walk back here together."

"We look forward to seeing her!"

"Won't you still be at work?"

"We can come home early. We've wanted to meet her for so long! Anyways, now we need to get to work, and you need to go to school. Bye!" LeRoy and Hiram says before walking out of the door.

"Great. Now I need to convince Quinn to come and tutor me after school today."

At the same time at Brittany's house

It's weird, waking up on someone else's bed, but it's certainly better than on the street. Anyways, Quinn needs to get ready faster because even though she isn't in Cheerios anymore, Brittany is, and will be late for morning practice if Quinn isn't moving faster.

Quinn and Brittany gets in school just in time for Britt's practice. Brittany headed to the field, and Quinn decided to grab some books from her locker then go to the library to study.

"Hey, Quinn." She hears, and she turns around. It's Rachel.

"Hi. Can I help you?" She answers steadily. She might have a crush on the girl whose standing right in front of her, but the Fabrays are the best at hiding feelings, so she won't let it show.

"Um..." She looks nervous, fiddling with the edge of her skirt. "I have some questions about math, and since you're the smartest girl in the whole school, I was hoping maybe you could teach me after school today."

"Sure. But why don't we do it now? There's still some time before classes start."

"Can't. I need to practice singing now."

"Can I come with you?" She sees Rachel's eyes slightly widen, clearly not expecting Quinn to ask this. "I have always liked to hear you sing. Also, there's always people making out in the library, so I really don't want to go there. I won't bother you, if you're worried about that. I'll just be studying."

"Okay."

With that, they head towards the choir room together.

Quinn settles in a chair on the front row, and opens the book she grabbed from her locker. Rachel, on the other hand, stands in front of the piano. She does some vocal warm-ups first, and then starts to sing with music playing in the background by her phone.

"Say you're sorry

That face of an angel

Comes out just when you need it to."

"Wow. Rachel's voice is so pretty." Quinn thinks, and looks at Rachel with awe.

"As I paced back and forth all this time

'Cause I honestly believed in you

Holding on

The days drag on

Stupid girl,

I should have known, I should have known."

"That I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale

I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet,

Lead her up the stairwell

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town,

I was a dreamer before you went and let me down

Now it's too late for you

And your white horse, to come around."

The chorus ends, and Quinn looks down at her books. It's upside down! She has spent the whole time in the choir room just staring at Rachel.

"Maybe I was naive,

Got lost in your eyes

And never really had a chance

My mistake I didn't know to be in love

You had to fight to have the upper hand

I had so many dreams

About you and me

Happy endings

Now I know

I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale

I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet,

Lead her up the stairwell."

"This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town,

I was a dreamer before you went and let me down

Now it's too late for you

And your white horse, to come around."

Quinn looks at the clock above the piano. Classes are going to start in two minutes, so she closes her books, and walks toward Rachel.

"And there you are on your knees,

Begging for forgiveness, begging for me

Just like I always wanted but I'm so sorry

'Cause I'm not your princess, this ain't a fairytale

I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well

This is a big world, that was a small town

There in my rear view mirror disappearing now

And its too late for you and your white horse

Now its too late for you and your white horse,

to catch me now."

The song ends. Quinn is standing in front of Rachel, centimeters away. Quinn reaches out, and pulls a loose strand of hair back behind Rachel's ear. "You know, you are a princess, and you deserve a prince to treat you well."

The bell rings just as Quinn finishes the sentence. She walks out of the choir room, leaving Rachel confuse with both what just happened and her own feelings.
