Carlos groaned a bit as she slowly fluttered her eyes open to the morning. Her head felt like she went a couple of rounds with a steam hammer. Her mind was a haze as she tried to grasp any coherent thought at all. The sound of her front door swinging open screeched out and pierced through her ears and right into her brain. She didn't need to know who the fuck it was, there was only one person who would ever dare to just waltz into her shack. She rubbed her face as she called out,"Good morning, Vaas." From her kitchen she heard the fridge door open followed by Vaas' chuckle as he said,"Morning!...My little lap dancer..." She slowly turned her head with an expression of complete confusing mixed with growing dread. Where the fuck had that come from? Why the hell did he call her that? She couldn't remember last night, everything was a painful blur of colors and sounds. Then she asked,"The fuck did that come from?" Carlos left the bed and willed herself to struggle onto her feet. Vaas leaned against the counter and smirked as he cracked open the cap of one of the beer bottles. Then he said slowly,"You.. Last night... Don't remember? Shame." As he tipped the bottle to take a sip his eyes met with Carlos. He rose his eyebrows and licked his top lip at the very confused, sooo hungover, and groggy Carlos. He could tell that Carlos had no fucking clue was was going on. It wasn't every day drunk Carlos would pop their head around but it was never unwanted when they did and last night... Well last night had been fucking beautiful. He pulled out a phone from his pocket and showed it as he said,"I've got something to remember for a lifetime. Don't worry." He smirked as Carlos stomped over and snatched the phone, quickly accessing it going to the videos. As Carlos pressed play the blur slightly parted and some things came to her.
Carlos was sitting around a campfire by Vaas' side as they laughed and drank beer. It was a bit of a tame party that had started as music blared from the stereo. A couple guys had gone out and gotten some whores so along with the sounds of music there was the oh so wonderful sound of moaning and women clearly faking it. Though it had put Vaas in some type of mood as he called for one of the guys to drag out one of the female prisoners and bring them over. She looked at him confused but honestly she wanted to see what he had in mind. Soon enough their attention turned as the sounds of a whimpering and struggling woman was brought over. She could practically hear the purr in his voice as he said,"Yeah, she'll do nicely." She didn't know what it was but she honestly didn't like the sound of that. Well who the fuck was she kidding. Her eyes tore from paying attention to Vaas from the corner of her eye to thoroughly inspecting the woman. Part of her was jealous. The woman had fucking bust of a goddess and long shapely legs. Her voice was fucking annoying though. Complete buzz kill. Still she fucking envied her because she obviously had some things that Vaas liked. He was pleased to see a bitch with her body in just a swimsuit. Carlos moved to give him some space and lounge back while chugging down yet another bottle. Still she watched as the woman was brought to her knees before Vaas. He leaned forward and gripped the bitch's chin as he sneered down at her. Then he said,"Enough fucking tears now, okay? We're gonna make a little deal, yeah? Me and my boys will treat you real nice, but you're gonna have to do some fucking favors for us." She yanked her head back in disgust and cried out. That wasn't a good idea. Which the bitch quickly learned when Vaas immediately yanked her back by her hair and yelled,"Don't you fucking look away from me when i'm fucking speaking to you! Fucking rude ass american bitch. Now your time here can be fucking nice or I can just tie you fucking down while we wait for the money and let my men have some fucking fun! You gonna listen or am I going to get my fucking rope and fucking hogtie you?" The woman nodded tearfully. Carlos looked over to Vaas and observed him. He returned his firm grip on her chin rather than her hair as he licked his lips. It was his way of dealing with... problematic... hostages. She could ever swear that perhaps they were his favorite of them all. He liked any excuse to make them grovel as his boots and beg for mercy as if he were an ancient deity of war. Vaas leaned back, relishing in the feeling as he said,"Good, now how about you start your community service with a lap dance, yeah?" She was dragged up and she shivered and whimpered out,"I-I'm married."
"DID I FUCKING ASK YOU ABOUT YOUR FUCKING RELATIONSHIP STATUS?! NO BITCH I DON'T THINK I DID! I FUCKING TOLD YOU TO GIVE ME FUCKING LAP DANCE!"
Carlos smirked and scoffed at the burst of tears that came from the woman. Despite this and with a little bit of last shove from the pirate holding her before he took his seat, she indeed did wise up and started with what Carlos supposed was her attempt at lap dancing. The men around whistled and shouted their vulgar words which was not helping the hostage but Carlos was slightly amused. They continued to chat and laugh among themselves. Vaas was barely into it, his arms rested against the back of the couch they were on, it was pitiful at this point. She couldn't blame his disinterest either with the soft blubbering she made and the clear inexperience.
"Not getting jealous over there Carlos are you?", one of the pirates teased. She scoffed and took another swing of her beer before she replied,"Jealous of what? Have some sniffling bitch doing what i'm thinking is maybe twerking over my fucking lap? Why? I can get my own fucking hostage to do that. Fucking watch. Where the fuck is one of my shitlings?!" The men laughed but the pirate clarified,"Nah, aren't you and Vaas in this fuck buddy type of deal? Aren't you jealous that your man is fucking showing his attention to some other bitch?" Vaas pipped in and said pointing to Carlos,"I. Fucking. Wish. Hermano over here still hasn't let me tap that ass yet. Keeps company with those Badtown whores. Speaking of which, I'm surprised you're even over here still since you like 'em so much." Carlos smirked and then said,"Oh, that..."
On of her personal recruits came jogging over and quickly said,"You ca-" She immediately snapped and yelled as she pointed at him,"Stay in your fucking lane! Who the fuck called you over here? I've had to deal with your shit for the better part of the fucking day! No one fucking called you over here, get the fuck out of my sight!" Instantly the recruit bolted off. She turned her attention back to the conversation and said,"Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, fuck nah. Bitch is halfassing as fuck over there. Putting me to fucking sleep is what that is." They laughed but the pirate baited her by saying,"What do you think you can do better for the boss?" She took in in an instant in her drunken state,"F-Fuck you, I can- I can do." Carlos swung herself up and off the couch she walked over and grabbed the woman and shoved her into the arms of another pirate as she said,"Fucking move over there bitch! I can do a hell of a lot better. I've been watching those Badtown bitches." The men howled and burst out laughing. Vaas was grabbing his stomach he was laughing so hard but he adjusted himself to get even more comfortable, sitting closer to the edge and leaning more into the couch as he brought both of his hands behind his head head as he said,"Fucking show me!" Carlos chuckled and said,"I'm gonna fuck show you. You just fucking get comfortable." He replied with a,"I'm fucking ready when you are, Hermano." She turned around and brought up a leg to rest beside one of his before she said,"Hold on, need my beer." With that she stretched over to quickly grab her discarded beer before she brought up her other leg to straddle Vaas reverse cowgirl. She started swaying and moving her body over his lap, sometimes needing to steady herself with one hand on the couch and the other holding the bottle. Even if a bit off balance and more than drunk enough, she manages to be pretty decent. A playful and joking manner of all the things she had seen around the clubs in the mainland and more specifically things she knew from observation that Vaas liked to see. All the while urged by but the laughter and whistles of the men around her. Going along with some odd requests here and there to keep up the laughs. Though mostly she was motivated by the sound of Vaas' purring voice as he encouraged her onward. She even got people rolling on the floor with a bit of a cheeky move. Vaas had his legs spread wide open since the start, she decided to snake a hand down her body in a mocking manner while bringing herself up from leaning into him. Her face lingering next to his with a seductive tone to her eyes. Even if it had been in a joking manner she had felt him growing hard beneath her. His dark eyes burning with desire as he returned the look while watching her expression almost daring her to do something. That is before grabbing him through the fabric of his cargo pants. The reaction was immediate. The men yelled out and hollered while Vaas quickly had jumped a bit. His arms wrapped around her form and he tipped them over causing even more hysteria. She laughed and cried out,"My beer!" There were laughs about party foul or even someone yelling out,'It was innocent!'. She turned her head to Vaas' as she said,"Sir, Sir, you're not supposed to touch the dancers, Sir." He hugged her tight as they laid on the couch both laughing. One of the guys shouted out,"Drunk Carlos!" She looked over and saw that one of the guys, Edwardo, had a phone up recording. She brought up her forearm to flip him off and called back,"Best Carlos."
Carlos looked completely annoyed as she pinched the bridge of her nose with her eyes tightly closed. Then she said as she handed the phone back,"I'm gonna fucking kill Edwardo." Vaas doubled over laughing and replied,"Oh he wasn't the only one who recorded that! I've got several from all kinds of angles." She groaned and massaged her head as she asked,"How many fucking people saw that video by now?" He smirked down at her and said,"Well it's afternoon so... Just about everyone. Even the little shitlings."
"Not the shitlings!"
With that she turned and walked toward the door with an amused Vaas following close behind as he said,"You should bring drunk Carlos out more." She opened the door allowing her oh so happy leader to leave,"What's wrong with sober Carlos?" She closed the door behind them as Vaas slightly turned toward her and said,"Nothing but drunk Carlos is more fun." With a sigh she asked,"Off hand, how many people do we actually need-" Carlos was cut off when he chuckled again and wrapped an arm around her shoulders to bring her away from her door and follow at his side as they walked further into the camp. Then he said,"C'mon it's not that bad. You were good, out of all of my pirates, you have the nicest ass." She gave a playful groan and pushed away from him with a chuckle and replied,"Boss! That's not helping." He playfully leaned closer and growled into her ear,"Got my dick all nice and hard no wonder you felt the need to touch." At this she jumped and completely turned toward him while shield her ear while she stared wildly at him as she shouted back,"What the fuck?! Shut the fuck up!" Giggling she pushed against his chest both hands though he only got closer. Both of them looked over as they heard some pirate call out from a ways down the path,"You guys gonna fuck?" She scoffed and looked back to Vaas while he looked back with a smirk as he motioned toward his own shanty,"Well we do need to work on your grip if you're gonna pump me off like a pro." Carlos flipped off both of them at the same time before walking off. Vaas laughed and followed after her as they continued on their tasks for the day. There were plenty of things she needed to catch up on since she slept in late. Some of course included shoving a boot up her constantly irritating recruits asses.
Vaas even had to step in at some point to make sure she didn't kill Edwardo.
Still they were glued to the hip as they knocked out some tasks. They approached a truck that was being loaded up with some of the more unfortunate female hostages. Normally they would wait until their ransom money came in or not but they would all end up in the same place, Rejects. The label was a death sentence in normal circumstances but Carlos had put in place a sort of deal that saved some of them from such a fate. Well it occasionally saved some of the women. It wasn't a rare occurrence for a prostitute to overdose or a customer to get too rough with them. There were the locals sure but they needed more than that to keep them afloat. Though they didn't make enough with the owners own drug habits to pay for the pretty ones. However, they could buy the would-be-rejects for a cheap price off the pirates. Which was a win-win deal for everyone. They got to keep their sorry asses alive, for a time, and the pirates made a profit to keep Hoyt just a little bit happier. It was one of the first things she had done during the early stages of Vaas hanging near her hip. Carlos wasn't his anything at that point, still just some 'boy' that he took some very keen interest in. Of course that meant that when Hoyt arrived he took some minute interest as well. It was what seemed to make Hoyt actually see her as something more than the average pirate. It had been her power move.
Vaas sighed as he watched some of them struggle. Then he sneered,"Noisy bunch of fucks i'll tell you that."
Carlos nodded and said,"No one likes a prostitute who screams too much, gets rather annoying quickly. They'd be better off saving those tears for the customers. I heard it's the new hot fetish." That earned a chuckle from the man beside her before he patted her back and they made their way into the truck. She rolled her eyes at the wailing. It was a strange thing really. While she would take her little guilty strolls as 'Meghan' rather than 'Carlos' she would see them, hell sometimes even talk to them, and they would have no idea that she was one of the people who had put them there. She was sure that if that little piece of information got out, she'd be a bit less welcomed in Badtown. Her eyes gazed out the window to take in the jungle as it zoomed by. Vaas looked over at her from the driver's seat while two other pirates were chatting among themselves quietly.
He reached over and grabbed her jaw, squeezing it mockingly, as he asked in a babying voice,"Mi Vida, what's the matter?" Carlos smirked and smacked his hand away only for it to ruffle her hair over the cap. Then continued as he placed his hand back on the stick shift,"You haven't found out about my two new pets have you?" She raised an eyebrow at him and asked,"When did that happen?" He had this sadistic smile on his expression as he said,"After drunk Carlos made an exit for the night, I adopted." There was something to that smile as she narrowed her eyes one him and asked,"What did you get?"
"Guess."
"Tigers?"
"Hm... Nope."
"Don't tell me you got one of those devil chickens."
Vaas laughed and corrected,"They are called Cassowary and no... I did not... Yet." Carlos growled and looked elsewhere. She fucking hated those birds and he all but denied that they were gonna get some. Still, she hadn't cracked what the hell he had gotten to probably unleash upon the camp. With some more though she continued as she thought more critically,"Alright so... You said you adopted it after I left to go home-" He nodded and hummed in confirmation,"-So it would have to be something readily available near... Could I..." Her eyes narrowed at him as she slowly asked,"Hold it in my hand?"
"It is not a fucking spider and no."
"Is it bigger or smaller than a spider?"
"Much bigger."
"Is it a bird of any kind?"
"No."
"Is it domesticated?",she asked in a bit of shock. Vaas wasn't the type to go for your typical domestic pets normally. He was a very chaotic soul who liked exotic and expensive things.
He looked elsewhere for a bit and hummed in thought before he focused on the road again and said,"They can be. If you teach them how to behave." She was stunned and asked,"What? Is it a cat? Dog?" That dark look grew as he replied,"You're getting close. I suppose if you stretch the... definition..."
Now it clicked. Carlos then said,"You're housing two hostages?" He winked at her and clicked his tongue in confirmation before he said,"You saw that girl in the video? 'I'm married'?" She nodded and he continued,"Got the husband in a cage outside my room and her cage in the bedroom." She stared wide eyed at him and said,"Oh wow! Bit overpriced for the performance demonstration don't you think, Boss?" He laughed and asked,"How can you put a price on entertainment?" Carlos looked forward and said as they neared Badtown,"Better tell her drunk Carlos won't always be there save her ass." That got a bit more laughs out of him before they arrived at the buyer. It was a classic little shit hole-in-the-wall kind of establishment that you would expect. For the most part it seemed newly built, well as much as that kind of statement could mean in this kind of place. The four of them began unloading the merchandise and dragging them into what would now be the rest of their lives. Looking at some of them, Carlos doubted they'd last a week.
She sighed and rolled her arm as they walked back to the car. Her attention was grabbed when she saw a familiar figure drift by and make her way to the nearby stream with a basket full of clothes. It had been a few days since her last conversation and as much as a hoot Vaas was, she felt the yearning to drop her act and have some girl talk. Her attention went to Vaas as he was done collecting the pay and asked in a playful manner,"Eager to get back to your pets?" Vaas chuckled yet had this dark and sadistic look on his face. Carlos returned the smirk and then said,"Well, don't let me stop ya. I'm gonna hang around here, Boss... Come pick me up in the morning?" He pouted and replied,"I thought we were making progress. You know, bonding and all that shit. Breaking down walls, getting closer."
"Last night I gave you a lap dance... We can get closer?"
Vaas narrowed his eyes playfully and replied,"Much closer."
With a parting dismissive motion she turned and walked away,"Compared to all the men, you know way too much about me, Vaas. I don't think there's any walls to break." She faintly heard him chuckle as he turned to join the men in the truck,"Out of all my men you have the most." This caused her to flash a confused expression over her shoulder before shaking it off and disappearing among the buildings as the truck left.
Carlos peeked around the corner to ensure that the truck was gone before she sighed and hid as she dropped the male 'accent'. Her hands went up and tore away the cap and ties that kept her hair strictly in place. Then she brought her hands to her clothes and as she released the hidden bindings and such. After she brought them away and slung them over her arm she set about taking off her boots and shirt. She bundled them all up and stashed them away before she jogged out.
It wasn't hard to find Eveline. She smiled and walked up behind her. Eveline let out a slight scream when suddenly 'Meghan' grabbed her shoulders with a,"Got you." Then she laughed as she said while Meghan plopped down beside her,"Well, well... Meghan makes her appearance." Carlos sighed and laid down on her back in the grass and said,"That I do. I was in town and I saw you as you were making your way to wash your clothes." The woman chuckled and replied,"Oh? Well I'm glad for the company. Looks like we'll be getting some new additions. Maybe we'll even be able to make some more friends? The pirates just left but you probably saw the truck. I was a bit worried that it might be a 'Roundup' when he stepped out. He even brought Carlos with him." If only she knew how awkward that made things for her. Still she played it cool and replied,"I know right. You don't normally see those two around here very often. Though I don't know if both of them together is worse or better, per say. Isn't Carlos like basically his right hand man? They hardly are ever not glued to the hip." Eveline shivered and then said,"Carlos wasn't here when we ran into Vaas at the bar. I was so scared." Oh, she had no fucking idea how wrong that statement was. Carlos chuckled nervously and replied,"You-You're telling me! I was the one that ran right into him!" Eveline giggled and said,"I was sure he was going to do something... It's not normal to see someone like him around here. Normally, the big shots stay in their camps and use their hostages for entertainment. Well, except for Carlos. I've seen him pop here and there sometimes. Nearly as rare as seeing you though... How do you think he got there?"
"Where?"
"As Vaas' right hand man? I mean normally Vaas' men are like, big and stuff but then there is Carlos and he's-..." Eveline drifted off in thought as she tried to put the right words to it. 'Meghan' finished for her,"Looks like a scrawny teenager?" Eveline nodded and giggled as she spoke in a soft voice as if 'Carlos' and Vaas were right fucking near them,"Exactly! How the hell did that happen?" Carlos shook her head and said lost in thought,"No fucking clue." It was funny taking about herself like it was someone entirely different. Eveline went back to her cleaning as she asked,"What do you think Carlos is like then? I know Vaas is basically a walking death wish, but I've never seen Carlos really in action. Do you think he's like... Just as bad as Vaas? Maybe that's why he's so close to Vaas." She shrugged and said,"I don't really think about walking over and sparking a conversation when I see them." Eveline hummed and replied,"Neither do I but it's a bit curious."
They spent hours talking about everything and nothing at the same time, all the way until the night. When she got up she invited Meghan to join her. The owner would be busy breaking in the new girls so he'd be leaving them fairly unsupervised. She had accepted and joined Eveline as she walked over to the brothel. Her eyes went to the weird way Eveline seemed to walk. It was hard to put her finger on it but something just seemed off. Carlos looked away and asked,"What happened?" Eveline looked at her and asked,"What?" Carlos motioned to her hips and clarified,"You're walking funny. Something happen?" At this Eveline gave a dry chuckle and replied,"Oh, that... Yeah, one of the pirates came to the brothel and nearly broke my hip by being a little bit too rough. Some new recruits who were under Carlos apparently. Doctor says I need some time to heal but... Well you know. Just gotta grin and bear it." She winced and looked away as she felt like complete shit. Those fucking dicks took out their frustration and out of all the bitches in Badtown, it had to be her friend. She sighed and said,"Shit. Sorry about that." Eveline shot her a look of confusion and asked,"Why are you apologizing? You didn't have anything to do with this. Carlos stopped and watched as her friend walked into her room If only she knew, she wouldn't be quite so friendly. She'd fucking start to hate her... Carlos was starting to hate herself.
Carlos spent a bit more time with Eveline before she decided to call it quits and 'Go home'. Though she had suckered Carlos into having a slumber party. She even loaned her some sleeping clothes that would be better suited then walking around in cargo pants and a bra. Though with the guilt causing her unrest she wasn't able to sleep. She waited until her friend was asleep before she walked out into the warm Rook air and sighed. She leaned against the side of the building and groaned as she slid down to the ground.
"Can't sleep?"
Carlos gasped and scrambled to her feet before turned to see Vaas leaning against the other side of the building with only a sliver of his side showing but even still, he was a very hard figure to mistake. Hearing her reaction he turned his head to stare at her. His eyes drifted up and down her form before he turned back to staring off at whatever he was staring at. She gulped and said,"I-I see I'm not the only one." He hummed and brought up a bottle that he had and drank it. Carlos narrowed her eyes a bit, why was he here? She leaned back against the wall uncomfortably and let out a nervous cough before she asked,"So, what brings you here at this time? Don't normally see the infamous pirate lord around here." He chuckled and said,"Waiting." For her? He was just going to hang out the entire night to pick her up? She couldn't help it, she wanted to press for more. However, she couldn't as long as she was 'Meghan'. They stayed in relative silence, broken only occasionally by Vaas drinking. She hated it being this silent between then. She shifted uncomfortably on her feet and asked,"Sooo... Lovely night we're having." He shot her a look over his shoulder before going back to his drinking,"You don't have to be so fucking awkward around me... Meghan." She snapped her gaze to him before he said as he brought the bottle away,"That's what that other bitch calls you right? The one at the bar? She kept calling you Meghan."
'Meghan' was stunned before she replied carefully,"Yes... Just didn't think you would take note of something like that. Not a lot of men would think to ask names of a... prostitute."
Vaas hummed in response before tossed an empty bottle away. Carlos rubbed her arm a bit and asked,"Are you sure you want to just stay out waiting?" He looked over his shoulder in confusion before she continued on,"I mean. You said you were waiting a-and if whoever is in the brothel, I don't think they'll be up until a long time." He gazed back and seemed to be in thought. Well said person would never just walk out the brothel if Vaas was just standing there like a guard dog. Would make getting her clothes and dressed a bit problematic. He clicked his tongue to get her attention and motioned with his head for her to follow as he got up and walked away. Carlos hesitated yet went to go follow him as he walked through the now barely lit streets of Badtown. She slowed down a bit when she noticed him leading her to one of their jeeps. He walked to the open back and jumped inside. She slowly rounded the back and watched as he made himself comfortable before making a quick motion with his hands for her to join. She looked around before she whispered as she leaned over the back,"What are you doing?" Vaas leaned forward until he was inches from her face before a dark smirk came over him and he said,"Getting distracted." Then suddenly he had dislodged the tailgate of the jeep with one of his feet and quickly grabbed her arms and yanked her in. She had let out a yelp as Vaas twisted them around, her world spun around her and when it stopped she was on her back with her legs around Vaas' hips while the man tore the red tank away and tossed it into the seats behind her. Then he said as he looked down at her,"Ever heard 'Time flies while your having fun'? Give me some distraction until its time to go."
... This was not how Carlos thought her night would turn out. Not at all.
