Shattered Illusions Part 2

Miss G's long fingers trailed along Laura's jaw as her blue eyes searched the other woman's.

"Are you afraid?" She whispered in that voice that sounded like smoke drifting through the air.

Laura licked her lips and nodded, causing Miss G to frown.

"Why? I thought you'd done this before."

Laura's own eyes locked with Miss G's.

"I'm not afraid of the act itself. I'm afraid of doing it...with you."

Miss G blinked and her fingers left Laura's face.

She had long since locked the door and was now hovering over a partially naked Laura on her couch. Miss G was still fully clothed, deciding that she wanted to have the power here.

Her blue eyes darkened to look like a raging storm.

"Do you not desire me?"

Laura swallowed.

"Of course I do but-but you can be-"

"What?" Miss G snapped.

"Forceful." Laura blurted.

Instead of the rage and anger Laura thought she would see, a grin lifted the corners of the dark haired teacher's mouth.

"You think I would take you without your consent." It wasn't a question.

Laura shook her head, wanting to answer anyway.

"No...no you wouldn't. If I told you no, you wouldn't make me..." But even her own mind was telling her something different.

"I wouldn't want to hurt you, Laura but when I desire something, I tend to become a little...irrational."

Laura found herself wanting to move from under Miss and G and get as far away from her as possible.

She moved a little and Miss G froze.

"Something the matter?"

Laura blinked.

"I-I don't think we should do this."

"Why ever not?"

"Because-"

"Are you scared of me, Laura? Do I frighten you?"

If Laura told her no then Miss G would insist on continuing what they were doing but if she admitted that she did indeed frighten her then that would anger Miss G and there was no telling what the clearly unstable woman would do.

Laura swallowed and forced a smile onto her face; there was no doubt about it that Miss G intrigued her and she was no stranger when it came to sleeping with women but she couldn't let Miss G see how apprehensive she was about this.

So instead, Laura flipped them so that the dark haired woman was beneath her as she pinned her wrists above her head.

"If we're going to do this, we're going to do this my way." She whispered dangerously.

Miss G grinned up at her after a small, confused frown had appeared on her face.

She looked up at Laura and licked her lips.

"Are you sure you can handle it?"

As if Laura had never done anything like this before.

Laura ran her lips over Miss G's neck and gently scraped her teeth along the other woman's pulse point making the other teacher gasp.

Laura pulled back as she heard Miss G chuckle darkly.

"Maybe you're not as docile as I thought."

Laura took her lips in a searing kiss that Miss G responded to all too well.

When they were both breathless, Laura moved her head to look down at Miss G once again.

"You like to experience new things so shut up and enjoy it."

Laura took her time but she wasn't as careful as she would have been had it been someone she loved laying beneath her; either way Miss G seemed to follow her lead and soon after she had Miss G writhing in a naked, sweaty session of passion, Laura soon followed suit, throwing her head back and calling out into the dark room...

It was still dark outside as Laura glanced behind her and out of the dusty window.

She was sitting on the edge of the couch, only a slip covering her body, one strap had fallen down over her shoulder but she didn't care enough to do anything about it.

Miss G was sleeping peacefully behind her.

Laura ran a hand through her messy blonde hair and let out a shaky breath.

What have I done? Laura thought as she found her hands shaking.

She flinched when a hand ran up her arm and she forced herself to remain calm.

"Are you cold, my love?" Miss G asked as she half sat up.

Laura swallowed.

"No...no I'm fine."

Miss G sat up behind her properly and pressed a kiss to Laura's bare shoulder.

"The sun will be up soon. Why don't you try to get some more sleep?" She asked softly.

If Laura didn't know better, she would think Miss G actually cared about her but she knew now, Miss G loved fantasy more than she liked reality; to her, Laura was just another story she could get lost in before she became bored and moved onto the next thing that piqued her interest. All she had to do was ride it out.

Laura moved to stand up when Miss G reached out, wrapping her hand around the blonde's wrist.

"Where are you going?" She asked with a frown on her face.

"I was going to my room...to get some sleep, like you suggested."

The frown soon softened and Miss G smiled up at Laura.

"No, I meant stay here and sleep on the couch...with me."

Before Laura could answer, she felt herself being pulled down gently onto the couch, the very small couch. Miss G pressed her own back into the back of the couch and made Laura lay down in her arms as she held her as close as humanly possible.

Laura closed her eyes but she didn't sleep. Not a wink.

The next day Laura threw herself into her work, she took joy in teaching her students different brush strokes and the uses of light and shade. The lesson was over far too quickly and Laura decided to go to the shops for lunch. She noticed that Miss G rarely left the school and Laura saw that as her chance to escape if only for a little while.

The village consisted of a post office, a newsagent, a bakers and a launderette.

Laura looked in the window of the bakers and smiled, she would treat herself today.

The bell rang as she entered the shop and was greeted by a portly woman with a ruddy face.

"What can I get you?" She asked bluntly.

Laura forced her smile to remain in place despite the the woman's abruptness.

"I'll have one loaf of bread-"

"Sliced?" The woman barked.

"Yes please-"

"Not my job," The woman muttered before she turned her head to the small doorway at the far end.

"Tessa!" She shouted, causing Laura to flinch.

A pretty, striking brunette appeared in the doorway, flour on her tanned cheek and her honey eyes wide.

The blunt woman gestured to Laura and then barged past the other baker to go into the back.

Tessa wiped her hands on her apron and then approached the counter, a pleasant smile on her face.

"Hello, what can I get you?"

Laura smiled genuinely and she found herself taken aback by Tessa's beauty and husky voice.

"Er...can I get a bread-loaf-of bread, sorry." Laura stuttered.

Tessa grinned as she turned to reach for one.

"I assume you want it sliced?"

Laura nodded.

"Peggy wouldn't have called me out here if you didn't." She explained.

Laura blinked.

"Peggy?"

Tessa gestured to the doorway where the rude woman had gone and Laura nodded.

"I haven't seen you around here before." Laura blurted before she could stop herself.

Tessa smiled as she sliced the bread in front of her.

"I've only been here a few weeks," She then gestured with her head across the street.

"I live over there."

Laura followed her gaze to the small home and she smiled.

"Do you like it here?"

Tessa shrugged as she cut another slice.

"It's alright. It's better than where I came from."

"Where did you come from?"

Tessa stopped slicing the bread and bit back a grin before she narrowed her eyes but amusement shone in her honey brown eyes all the same.

"Do you always ask bakers a lot of questions?"

Laura felt her cheeks redden and she put a hand to the back of her neck, rubbing self consciously.

"Sorry..."

"It's alright, I'm teasing."

Laura chuckled but it was out of relief more than anything.

Tessa finished slicing the bread and wrapped it up in brown paper for Laura.

Laura paid and then headed for the door, feeling a little embarrassed at the way she had bombarded Tessa with all these questions.

"What's your name?" Tessa asked.

Laura turned around.

"Erm… it's-it's Laura."

Tessa nodded with a smile on her lips.

"Laura...well I hope to see you again soon, Laura."

Laura nodded.

"I hope so too."

The bell rang as she left the shop.

Laura found that she couldn't stop thinking about Tessa for the rest of the day and she wasn't the only one to notice; Miss G came up behind her, hands covering her eyes.

"Guess who."

The smile Laura had been wearing dropped and turned into a look of apprehension as she moved Miss G's hands from her face and turned around.

Miss G pouted at her.

"Oh well now look, you've spoilt the surprise."

Laura managed a half smile.

"Sorry, but who else would it be?"

Miss G grinned.

"True."

When Laura didn't say anything else, Miss G tilted her head.

"So what's got you so deep in thought?"

Honey brown eyes came to mind, along with long dark hair and tanned skin.

Laura swallowed.

"Oh, nothing. Just...school work."

Miss G arched an eyebrow.

"School work?"

Laura nodded and Miss G slipped her arms around Laura waist.

Laura instantly moved out of the embrace.

"You can't do that here, do you want everyone to see?" Laura hissed but her cheeks were red.

Miss G grinned.

"Oh let them. I don't care who knows about us."

"Well I do." Laura snapped without thought.

Miss G stared at her, lips parted slightly.

"You do? Why?"

Laura sighed.

"Look, I didn't mean it like that. I just meant that we're at school and we need to be professional."

Miss G nodded in understanding but the grin returned to her face.

"Well we can always go to my room and be...unprofessional in there." She suggested, moving closer to Laura.

Laura resisted the urge to back up and instead she glanced down at the folder she was holding, full of her students' work.

"I have to mark these."

Miss G frowned down at the large folder.

"Oh they can be done any time."

"They need to be done for tomorrow."

Miss G ran a finger under Laura's jaw.

"Well what I have planned for us will take twenty minutes and then you can mark the work after."

Laura sighed and Miss G took that as the blonde signalling her defeat. She grabbed her free hand and dragged Laura to her room.

Being with Miss G wasn't exactly horrible, she was a quick learner and showed her enthusiasm, giving as well as she received but when Laura raised her head to look into Miss G's blue eyes, she saw brown instead.

Miss G frowned when Laura blinked.

"Are you alright?"

Laura nodded.

"Yes...I'm fine."

Laura went back to pleasing the dark haired woman and tried desperately hard not to imagine Tessa was underneath her instead of the other teacher.

The next day, Laura was sent by Miss Nieven to the village to get cakes for all the staff, it was someone's birthday tomorrow and they had small cakes instead of one big one, she would also have to go to the newsagent to see if he had any small candles for those cakes too.

Laura couldn't control her pounding heart when she aw Tessa through the window and the dark haired woman looked up and smiled at her.

Laura took a breath and then went straight in.

"Twice in one week...you must really like bread." She teased.

Laura blushed and rubbed at her neck nervously.

"I'm just here to buy cupcakes for the staff. It's the head of the English department's birthday soon."

Tessa nodded as she moved to the window where the cupcakes were.

"Oh, well then happy birthday to her."

Tessa pointed at the few different cakes.

"Which ones would you like?"

"Oh erm… I guess I'll take two chocolate, two vanilla and two...red velvet-actually, can you make that three vanilla?"

Tessa smiled and nodded as she put them in small paper bags.

"Why not just buy one big cake?"

"You do them?"

Tessa shrugged.

"No but I can make one. When do you need it for?"

"Erm… tomorrow?"

Tessa winced and sucked air in through her teeth.

"It's tight but I think I can do it."

Laura brightened.

"Really?"

Tessa nodded.

"It should be alright."

"That would be-that would be amazing, thank you."

Tessa then looked up at Laura from underneath her lashes.

"Of course I could make it faster if I had some help..."

Laura blinked.

Was she flirting with her? Had she been right? Was Tessa like her?

When Laura didn't immediately respond, Tessa dropped her gaze.

"I mean, if you can't, that's fine. I shouldn't have assumed-"

"No, no it's fine," Laura said quickly, "I'd love to help."

Tessa smiled, showing off her brilliant white teeth.

"Great."

She then grabbed a piece of a paper and wrote her address down on it which Laura thought a little unnecessary as Tessa had already told her where she lived; maybe she thought Laura had forgotten but she didn't say anything anyway.

"I live here. Can you meet me at mine about seven?"

Laura nodded eagerly.

"Yes of course!"

When Tessa chuckled, Laura schooled her expression into one of nonchalance.

"I mean, you know, if I can get away on time."

Tessa nodded, deciding to play along.

"No I understand, school work must be demanding."

If only it was the school work that was demanding, Laura thought sourly.

Pushing the thought of Miss G out of her mind, Laura smiled at Tessa and looked apologetically at the cupcakes she had bagged up.

"Sorry, I made you get them out of the window for nothing."

Tessa waved a hand dismissively.

"Doesn't matter."

Then after a thought, she handed them to Laura.

"Take them. My treat."

"Are you sure?"

Tessa nodded.

"Well you are coming over to help me make a birthday cake tonight, call it payment for your help." She said with an honest to god wink.

Laura blinked.

Had she really winked at her?

Taking the paper bags with a grateful smile, Laura turned and left the shop.

Tessa smiled down at the counter after she watched Laura walk down the street.

Tessa turned her back to make sure the loaves of bread were all stocked up when the bell above the door rang.

"Did you forget something?" Tessa joked without turning around.

"So you're who she keeps running off to see." A low voice said.

Tessa turned around and saw a tall woman with dark hair and cloudy blue eyes.

Instantly, Tessa felt on edge. Still, she forced a polite smile.

"Can I help you?" She asked pleasantly.

Miss G sauntered up to the counter, she appeared confident but Tessa could see by the way her eyes darted around that she was nervous.

"The woman that just came in here, do you know her? Personally?"

Tessa blinked.

"She's a customer."

Miss G's lips trembled as she smiled coldly.

"A customer...I see. So if she's just a customer then why do I catch her smiling to herself every time she's getting ready to come into your quaint little bakery? Is it the carrot cake she likes so much, perhaps?"

"Well it's not my bakery, I just-"

"What's your name?" Miss G cut in rather sharply.

"Tessa."

"Well, Tessa. I will give you a word of advice, stay away from Laura and you'll have nothing to regret."

Miss G turned and left the shop before Tessa could utter a word in reply.

Miss G's fingers trembled as she held a cigarette between them.

How could Laura do this to her?

Miss G took a drag and let the smoke blow away in the early evening air, a slight chill had taken place of the warm, sunny day and Miss G pulled her trench coat tighter around herself.

A flash of blonde hair made Miss G look up and she stubbed out her cigarette and she went after her.

"Laura." Miss G called out.

Laura stopped walking and turned to face her.

"Miss G, how are you?"

"We need to talk." Miss G said and she sounded unhappy.

Laura frowned.

"Alright. I have a half hour to spare."

Miss G frowned.

School was over, what else did she have to do?

"Can we talk in my room?"

Laura swallowed.

Any time Miss G wanted to talk in her room, it usually lead to sex and Laura didn't want that, not tonight and probably not ever again.

"I don't think-"

"Your art room then." Miss G snapped irritably.

Laura nodded, a slight frown forming on her face.

"Alright..."

Miss G gestured for Laura to lead the way and she followed her into the art room then turned and shut the door behind her.

Laura folded her arms over her chest.

"So, what's this about then?" She asked as kindly as she could.

Miss G glanced at her and then looked down again.

"Is it the girl at the bakery?" She asked, her voice small.

Laura frowned but her heart hammered.

"What do you mean?"

"Is she why you've pulled away from me?"

"I haven't pulled away from you, I just..."

Blue eyes locked with Laura's and the blonde went cold when she saw something there that frightened her.

"I thought it was me you wanted. You come to my room, you sleep with me...I give you everything, what changed?"

"Give me everything?"

Miss G nodded.

"Do you think you're a number in a long line of women I've slept with?"

Laura shook her head.

"No, I know I'm your first."

Miss G came forward at such a shocking speed and gripped Laura's hands, her eyes widening as she looked pleadingly into Laura's own.

"You must know how special you are to me, Laura. I've never felt this way about anyone else before. I love you."

Laura closed her eyes as she felt her head spin.

"You don't mean that..."

Miss G frowned.

"How can you say that? Do you presume to know what I feel?"

"I know you don't love me...you can't."

Miss G's grip on Laura's hands became painfully tight.

"She's turned your head, hasn't she? That...Tessa from the bakery."

Laura sighed and Miss G's eyes darkened as she glared at the blonde.

"She can't love you like I do. Me and you, we're different from everyone else. We're the same."

Laura felt revolted and she tried to break free of Miss G's grasp only to have the dark haired woman dig her chipped red nails into Laura's skin.

"You can't leave me, Laura, I won't let you."

"You're hurting me." Laura snarled in warning.

Miss G ignored her, continuing her rant.

"You think you'll find happy ever after with her? She'll get bored and she'll leave you. With me...I can-"

Laura suddenly let out a bark of laughter.

"And you think I'll find happiness with you?"

Miss G's lips parted in surprise but she didn't respond, clearly she was unable to.

Laura managed to get her hands free and she put a little distance between herself and the other teacher.

"I'm an experiment to you. I'm just another fantasy you like to live in. You say that you have travelled, you've been to all these all different places and done all these wonderful things but the truth is that you haven't, have you? Your life has amounted to nothing so you pretend that it has and the worst part about it is that you're not even happy...your whole life is a lie... and you hate it."

Miss G looked down and Laura wondered if maybe she'd gone too far.

When the dark haired woman didn't say anything, Laura shook her head with a small sigh.

"I have somewhere to be." She muttered as she headed for the door but before she could reach it, she felt a hand clamp down on her wrist and she turned to see dark blue eyes glaring down at her.

"She won't want anything to do with you when I'm done." She hissed.

Laura opened her mouth to tell her no but Miss G's blows rained down on her until she was on the cold floor of her art room and as her voice became raw from screaming, she knew that no one would be coming to save her...

Her dark head moved slightly to see Laura laying on the floor, her trembling back to the older teacher.

She was crying. Miss G could hear her.

Lighting up another cigarette, Miss G felt tears sliding down her cheeks as she watched the blonde woman sit up painfully against the cupboards.

Miss G glanced at her, at the bruises and cuts she'd painted on Laura; almost as though Laura had been a blank canvas and Miss had added some much needed colour.

"Laura..."

Laura flinched when Miss G said her name.

The dark haired teacher stubbed out her cigarette and came over to her on her hands and knees. She knelt before her and reached out to push a strand of blonde hair back to reveal a slowly forming black eye. She smiled sympathetically at her as though her own hand hadn't done this.

Her thumb trailed down to Laura's split lip.

"Look at you..." She whispered, tears still forming in her eyes but they were not for Laura.

"Why don't we get you cleaned up?"

Laura didn't say anything, still shaken from what had happened.

Miss G helped Laura to stand and guided her to a chair while she got a basin and cloth from the cupboard and filled the basin with water.

"Let me look at you." Miss G whispered when Laura recoiled from her gentle touch.

Gently, Miss G wiped the blood from Laura's mouth and softly dabbed at her eye.

"Would you like some water?"

Laura nodded as she sniffed.

Miss G got a glass and came back, placing it in Laura's shaking hand.

Laura took a sip while Miss G just sat there, looking at her, bloodied rag in hand.

After she'd swallowed, Laura tried to speak but it was painful.

"Why?" She rasped.

Miss G tilted her head like a confused puppy would.

"Why what, darling?"

"Why...did you...do this?"

Miss G blinked.

"I didn't want to, Laura...but you forced my hand."

Laura felt like crying all over again and as the sobs started building in her chest, Miss G pulled her into a crushing embrace that Laura was too weak to fight her way out of.

"Shh… it's over now. You understand now, don't you?"

Laura didn't respond as Miss G stroked her hair, soothing her, or she thought she was.

"It's just you and me now...I want you to forget about Tessa. She could never understand you, what you need."

"Which is...?" Laura whispered.

Miss G sighed.

"Sometimes, Laura I feel that you need a firm hand, someone to guide you. It's like tonight for example. I stopped you from making a horrible mistake-"

"You beat me." Laura said through clenched teeth even though she was still crying, her hand had curled into a fist against Miss G's chest.

"Oh, darling, you wouldn't have listened...drastic action had to be taken."

Laura pushed herself away to look at the dark haired woman.

"By hurting me? Look at me...look at what you've done to me?!" She screamed, making Miss G flinch back and widen her eyes.

Laura got up and raked her hands through her hair.

"Why are you like this? What happened to you?"

Miss G forced a shaky smile as she shrugged.

"Nothing happened to me, dear."

"Well something must have because you are clearly delusional!" Laura shouted, ignoring the pain in her throat.

Miss G shook her head tiredly.

"I think you need some sleep. You're not thinking clearly-"

"You beat me because you knew I wanted to see someone else...we never even established that we were together-"

"I told you I loved you-"

"I never said it back! And why should I?! You don't mean it! Nothing you do is real! nothing you say is real!" Laura exclaimed, the fire returning to her eyes.

"But you...you were so good to me..."

"Because I felt sorry for you! I mean my god, look at you! You had to beat me to get what you want... you're pathetic." Laura finished, her voice soft.

Miss G looked down but her lips had tightened into a grim line.

Laura sighed.

"Just admit it...everything you say you've done, it never happened, did it? You've never left this school, not once."

Miss G straightened.

"I have travelled all over this world, I have met every sort of person and done things you could only hope to dream of-"

Laura threw her hands up in the air.

"You see what I mean? You're delusional and you want everyone else to be a part of your fantasy. You didn't even like me when I first came here then you saw one of my paintings and suddenly you're all over me? Why?"

Miss G shrugged but she didn't look at Laura.

"You were different."

Laura looked at her.

"Tell me one thing,"

Miss G raised her gaze reluctantly to Laura.

"What am I to you, really?"

"You're...you're my..."

"I'm your what? Lover? Partner? Friend?"

Miss G started picking at some dried paint on the chair she was sitting on.

"I thought we were lovers."

Laura nodded.

"Lovers, alright. So, if we're lovers, destined for greatness and such an undeniable love then why don't we leave here? Go some place and start a life of our own?" She questioned but the sarcasm in her voice was evident.

Instantly Laura saw the panic in Miss G's eyes and then the truth was all too clear to her.

Laura shook her head.

"That frightens you, doesn't it?"

"No. I've been all over-"

"-the world, yes you've said. What do you want out of this if not to build a life with me?"

Laura knew she was calling Miss G's bluff, it wouldn't take long for her to cave under the pressure, Laura could see her failing even now. Her world-her fantasy world- had been revealed and she didn't know what to do, she was exposed, brought out into the light when really Miss G craved the darkness.

"Tell me." Laura said firmly.

Miss G's upright, poised posture faded, the false image she showed everyone vanished, only to be replaced by this shell of a woman; a woman who didn't know where reality began and fantasy ended.

A strange, sweet but twisted smile lifted the corners of the dark haired woman's lips.

"We could be happy, Laura. We could leave here someday and go somewhere else, maybe to one of those islands where people live simply."

Laura stared at her and instead of feeling anger, she felt sympathy. Even though only moments ago, Miss G had beaten her, Laura felt pity for this woman. After all, everyone knew that for someone to use force on them meant they had no real power of their own, it was a coward's tactic.

Laura sighed.

"There is no such place, Anna." Laura said gently, reverting to using her first name.

"And you and I..."

Miss G looked up hopefully but Laura shook her head.

"Anna I'm sorry but you must realise that you don't love me, not really."

"I do...I know I do." but even as she said the words there was uncertainty in her eyes.

Laura came towards her, taking her hands in her own.

"You don't."

Laura let out a breath.

"In years to come I'll just be another story for you to tell and that will be fine. It's life; you have all sorts of experiences but I can't be with you, Anna. I'm sorry."

Laura stepped back and headed for the door once again.

The voice that made her freeze where she stood was cold, cruel and threatening.

"I won't let her have you."

Laura wondered if Miss G would try to beat her again so she turned around, ready to fight her if need be.

Now she wished she hasn't even moved; Miss G's eyes were wide, mad and Laura recognized a broken woman when she saw one. She had her suspicions that Miss G needed help but she didn't know just how far the woman had seemingly slipped into madness and it seemed like she would only go further and deeper.

The dark haired woman moved from her chair and stalked towards Laura as she spoke;

"You think she can love you like I can, hm? You think she'll want someone so plain and boring as you? Tessa seems a bit exotic for someone like you doesn't she? No, Laura, you will learn that your place is here, with me. Only I understand you. Only I can be who you need and I will never let you leave me. You can't. Care to give it a try?" She said and then started laughing, telling Laura through her mockery that she would never be free of her. That no matter how hard she tried, Laura could never escape her, the other woman would make sure of that.

Laura shook her head.

"You don't own me, Anna. I don't belong to you, I'm not your pet!"

Miss G grinned and stopped laughing, letting it simmer down to a humourless chuckle.

"No, Laura dear, you're right, you're not my pet and if you want to try to leave me then that is up to you but would you really let Tessa get hurt over this silly little misunderstanding?"

The blood in Laura's veins ran ice cold.

"You wouldn't...Anna, she has nothing to do with this, leave her alone!"

"She has everything to do with this. You planned on leaving me for her, didn't you?"

I've only known her a few days! How could I even think about leaving with her?!" Laura exclaimed.

"I can see it in your eyes when you're thinking about her and I watched your little exchange today in the shop, she likes you too and I can't have that. So tell me, Laura, if she doesn't mean as much to you as you say then you wouldn't care what happens to her, would you?"

Laura clenched her teeth.

"I mean it, Anna. Leave Tessa out of this."

"I won't touch her as long as you promise to stay away from her." She said simply as though what she was asking wasn't unreasonable.

"You can't do this!"

Miss G spoke as though Laura hadn't said anything.

"People go missing here all the time. A tragic accident at the docks, fell down a flight of stairs...which do you think Tessa would prefer written about her when the papers discover her broken body?"

"You're insane..." Laura breathed as she backed towards the door.

"Not dear, I'm not insane. I just want to prove to you the lengths I will go to. For you. To prove that I love you."

"By killing someone?" Laura asked incredulously.

Miss G shrugged carelessly.

"If need be. I'd do anything for you, Laura. Anything."

The mad gleam in Miss G's eyes was enough to send Laura running from her own art room and she didn't stop running until she reached the docks where she fell to her knees and seriously considered throwing herself into the dark water below...

Part 3 anyone?
