"Ben..."

Rey didn't know how long she sat up in bed, Ben's shirt crumpled up beside her, as her hands slipped down over her tunic, and pressed up against her flat stomach. She had been dreaming. All of it had been a dream. Ben telling her how to reach him by using the force to return to the past. Finding Ben where he had died in her arms, vanishing, and leaving her alone. She had dreamed vividly that she had acted quickly in giving him a little bit of her life force back to him so he was strong enough to do what she had so desperately wanted to do with him. They had both lost their virginity to each other, laying there with Ben thrusting inside of her between her two spread legs. Every image, every touch seemed so vivid and real. The pressure, the discomfort, his hair hanging down, his face flushed and almost in pain, the building friction of just the beginning of pressure, before he climaxed, and there was warmth and a sudden feeling of emptiness. They were a dyad. a rare strong connection between two forces that when brought together, were more powerful than any sith or jedi.

This explained why they were equals in battle, and that constant strong connection, like a magnet whenever they shared their force together. It all built up until they stood side by side, making the impossible possible.

"I wanted to take your hand...Ben's hand."

She had watched Kylo Ren shatter away as the true Ben Solo emerged, staring at her, taking deep breaths as she used her force energy to heal his fatal wound. She knelt beside him, watching him take deep breaths, as his wound healed within seconds, and he was whole again. She felt slightly light headed, knowing she had given part of herself to him. He had done the same with her, but this time he gave all of his lifeforce to save her. Unknown to them, when he placed his large hand across her stomach, he had actually given her something else. He gave all of himself, and without them even making love...he had given her a child, placing a child deeply inside of her womb. She had heard rumors of children being conceived this way, in fact Ben's very own grandfather had been rumored to have been conceived without an actual father. Her mind simply made a fantasy for herself, pretending that there had been a way to go back and change things, to be able to make love with Ben, and conceive their child the natural way, the way she had wanted, the way she could see the beginning of her story with him officially starting.

Instead, while Ben gave his life force to her, as he placed his large hand across her stomach, as he closed his eyes, focusing, without even knowing it...he had given her a child. Their child. She hadn't gotten a chance to make love to the man she was forever connected to. She didn't get to start a future with him, and have him become her husband. She didn't get to experience starting a life with him, or have their child conceived the natural way with the man she loved... Instead all she had had gotten was one kiss, a smile, his clothes, and now...his child. She didn't need any scans, she knew it.

She was carrying Ben's child. BB8 beeped and wheeled towards her, before Rey looked over, tears glimmering in her eyes. Sighing, she took a second, before laughing through her tears.

"I dreamt it all didn't I?"

BB8 beeped back sadly before she felt his presence. Turning, she saw Leia, sitting by the table, glowing, and oddly looking beautiful. Somehow seeing her brought instant relief to Rey. Trying not to completely breakdown, she turned, and found herself holding onto Ben's shirt without even knowing it. Her hands nervously clutched onto it for comfort.

"General..."

Leia smiled peacefully.

"Leia please...you are having my grandchild after all."

Rey's eyes widened in surprise before she looked down at her flat stomach. Looking up, her chest heaved before she swung her legs out from the bed, still holding onto Ben's shirt.

"It's...true?"

Leia smiled before nodding.

"It appears my son was able to leave a little part of himself behind afterall."

Rey took another deep breath before clutching onto Ben's shirt even harder, twisting it between her hands.

"Why did...I dream..."

"What goes on in your mind is your business...but it might have been your way of telling you what Ben had done..."

"Did he know?"

"I'm not sure, but your strength alone defeated Palpatine, the new order fell, and the force is now in proper balance. It's over...you stood side by side with my son, and you were the reason Kylo Ren was defeated and my son Ben emerged...being able to fight until the very end. The few moments you shared...I know you lived a lifetime. Before he died, you truly made him happy. He knew he couldn't live without you after everything happened...but he knew you were stronger than him...you could survive. He didn't know he was giving you a child, but the force between you two made the impossible possible."

"Why can't I see him? Can't he show himself? Where is he?"

Rey tried to say, choking up, still clutching Ben's shirt. Sighing Leia got up, before walking over and sitting beside her.

"I'm not sure...he'll find you Rey...you know that."

Rey chewed her bottom lip, before she bowed her head and began softly weeping while Leia sadly sat beside her, looking on.
