"The nerve of that guy!" Ruby complained. "Thinking I'm a weakling when I'm facing against human opponents! Gah! Who does he think he is!" She said, pacing around the kitchen.
"Now now, you know that's not true." Summer said, opening the oven and pulling out a pan of cookies. "I've seen you fight all the time against human opponents. Torchwick, Avery, heck, I've seen you go toe to toe against Smashers like Zelda, Link and even Mario. Heck, I think I've seen you go against Samus at one point."
"I know! I win a lot, I lose a few times… but still, that Sephiroth… ugh!" Ruby groaned.
"If anything, he's just one of those villains that like to push the right buttons to get a reaction out of you." Summer said. "Weak against human opponents? I know my daughter well enough to believe that is not true."
"Thank you!"
"…Now hand to hand combat, that's kind of where you stink."
Ruby slouched a bit. "Gee, thanks mom…" She muttered. "But I've been getting better at it! Just ask Bea!"
Summer chuckled. "That's true… I've seen you improve. Could use some improvement though, you're still a bit slow on the delivery."
Ruby sighed. "You're probably right."
"You did knock some sense into Dark Ruby though." She let out a chuckle and then thought of something. "Hmm…"
"What is it?"
"I just thought of something that might work out for you."
"And that is?"
"Think back on your last battle with Dark Ruby. What did you do?"
"Uh… used my Silver Eyes on her?"
"Before that."
Ruby folded her arms. "Watched Hiyoko give Dark Ruby a wedgie?"
Summer snickered. "No, but that was pretty hilarious. There was something you did after that. What did Dark Ruby do to R3-B7?"
"Let's see… she…" Her eyes widened. "She took my scythe and briefly dual wielded against her!"
"Bingo! Do you remember doing the same on her?"
"Honestly, the whole fight was a bit of a blur, so I don't remember the details that much."
Summer giggled. "Can't say I blame you, but I did see you briefly taking Dark Ruby's scythe and used it against her. So perhaps if you're in battle and you see an opportunity to take your opponent's weapon away from them…"
Ruby's eyes sparkled, picturing herself wielding the Master Sword. "I can slay monsters with Link's Master Sword and go on a master quest to defeat the darkness in Hyrule and-"
"Whoa! Slow down now!" Summer sweatdropped. "That's not what I meant at all! I meant if you take your opponent's weapon away from them, you can use it against them to gain the upper hand!"
"Oh…" Ruby blushed as she rubbed the back of her head sheepishly with a sheepish grin.
Summer shook her head with a chuckle. "You and your fascination for weapons…" She said.
"So uh… speaking of silver eyes…" Ruby spoke up. "How exactly do I shoot laser beams out of my eyes?"
Summer snickered. "Honey, it's not that simple. You don't just shoot out "laser beams" out of your eyes. It's light. There's a reason why Grimm fear the silver eyed warriors, because their light can destroy them easily."
"If they fear the silver eyes so much, why are they constantly going after them?"
"Because Grimm aren't very smart." Summer responded. "Ruby, let me ask you something. What were you feeling when Dark Ruby was about to kill your team?"
"I was… scared. I was horrified that she was going to do such a thing to them… not to mention she has a knack for stressing me out."
"But what do you think you wanted most out of it?"
"I… I wanted to protect them."
"Bingo!" Summer smiled. "You wanted to protect them, so in that moment, you triggered your silver eyes for the first time. In case if you hadn't noticed, the Grimm were completely disintegrated."
"But it didn't disintegrate Dark Ruby."
"I know, that's because she's not a Grimm. Sure, she has Grimm Eyes because you cut her eyes off, but all it did was blind her. Sometimes, all you need is a good blinding just to disorient them. I used that as an opportunity to take off a few of her limbs… and well, saving your life at Melty Molten Galaxy. I didn't even know it was possible to blind a plant, yet here we are."
"So, my silver eyes… is it like, emotional or something?"
"Technically, yes, but there's more to it than that. It's the desire to preserve life which fuels the light inside you. Preservation is an extention of creation, or at the very least, an enemy of destruction. Your silver eyes are a means to protect those around you."
"Oooh! That makes sense." Ruby smiled.
"If you want, we can go somewhere where there's a few Grimm and we can practice using your silver eyes. Dark Ruby won't know what'll hit her."
"Sure, I'd love that!" Ruby grinned as she reached for a cookie.
Meanwhile, in Yang's room…
"Breathe slowly as you hold this pose."
Yang was doing the Tree Pose, taking a deep breath. She was in the middle of several yoga videos that Wii Fit Trainer had made. In fact, she gave them the videos so she can focus on meditation and deep breathing exercises to work on her anger.
"Wait, Ruby! They're still-"
"GAH! HOT CHOCOLATE!"
"-Hot…"
Yang let out a chuckle. "Knucklehead."
Chairman Rose stood in the middle of the room. "It is time…"
"Oi! Chairman!" A voice yelled as he turned around to see Gloria and Hop.
"Ah, Gym Challengers Gloria and Hop. I see you've seen the Darkest Day unfold before your very eyes?"
"What the heck are you doing, mate?!" Hop asked.
"Unleashing the Darkest Day. Galar is in a crisis right now and if we don't do something soon, Galar will be no more."
"So what, you think it's a good idea to unleash the fockin' apocalypse on Galar?! This could have waited for centuries, you twat!" Gloria yelled. "You interrupt the championship match for THIS shite?!"
"We had no choice. The energy crisis needed to be stopped." Rose said.
"Couldn't this have waited for like, I dunno, a millenium from now?!" Hop pointed out. "There's no use in being impatient, mate!"
"If we don't do something soon, then all of Galar will be lost!"
"You know… I always thought there was somethin' fishy goin' on when I was doin' this Gym Challenge…" Gloria pulled out her lead pipe. "Now I know why."
"Now now, let's all be rational."
"Rational?! After destroyin' the fockin' stadium?! Fock that noise!" Gloria ran over to Rose and let out a war cry as she swung her pipe, but Rose grabbed it calmly.
"Unfortunate." Rose spoke calmly. "I was hoping you would have understood, Gloria." He said, grabbing her wrist and twisting it as she let out a pained cry as she dropped her pipe, then he reached for an Ultra Ball. "Drill Run." He ordered, calling out his Escavalier.
BGM: Battle! Chairman Rose (Pokemon Sword and Shield)
"Escavaaa!" Escavalier unleashed Drill Run right into Gloria's gut.
"AAAAGH!" She cried, being knocked away and landing on her back. She coughed out some blood a second later.
"Gloria!" Hop exclaimed, immediately by her side
"It is unfortunate that you aren't seeing my vision. It is sad that it had to come to this. To think that you were one of the brightest, if not one of the most violent Pokemon Trainers I know."
Gloria sat up, reaching into her bag and pulled out a Full Heal as she sprayed it on her wound. "Agh!" She winced as she put her Full Heal away and glared at Rose. "Oh, you're gonna regret that, lad. YOU FOCKIN' ASKED FOR IT!" She yelled, calling out her Cinderace as she stood up. "You ready, lad?"
"Ready as I'll ever be!" Hop nodded, calling out his Rillaboom.
"Then let's fock his shite up." Gloria smirked.

"I always thought Chairman Rose to be one of the greatest chairmen of Galar… but during my Gym Challenge, I thought there was something off about him the moment I met him." Gloria explained as they were in Peony's winter home. "I didn't know what it was, but I thought I was just startin' to lose it. Then came the semi-finals. I defeated Hop in battle and we were waitin' for Leon to have dinner with us but he never showed up. We heard that Rose was still with him at a meeting… so we thought we'd go check on him. Then that bitch of a secretary shows up to put a stop to us. At that moment, I knew something was wrong. After we beat the livin' shite out of her and that Garbodor of hers, we met up with Leon and brought him back… and just when the championship was about to commence… it happened. That piece of shite nearly brought Galar to ruin because of his impatience. He called upon Eternatus to start the Darkest Day."
"Oh my…" Weiss quietly said.
"Yeah, and our battle against Rose was a hell of a battle… and once we were done with him, we helped out Leon take down Eternatus… though we did have some help with Zacian and Zamazenta. You can figure out the rest after that."
"Yup, that definitely sounds like my brother alright." Peony nodded. "Always goin' in and worrying about the future. Heck, when I was a young boy, I kept getting compared to Rose because he was quite "gifted". I loved him, but being compared to him constantly just never sat well with me. So I decided to go my own path and I eventually was recognized for my own abilities. I then became the Steel Type Gym Leader and heck, at one point, I was the champion! …Though I stepped down shortly after Rose became chairman. We never saw eye to eye…"
"Don't you wish you could speak to him again?" Blake asked.
"After what he almost did to Galar? No thank you." Peony responded. "I have nothing to say to that bonehead."
"That's sad…" Willow quietly said with Kali and Ghira nodding.
"So yeah… that's why I reacted to Peony so harshly at first, because I thought Rose was causing trouble again under a new name." She said, pulling put her Rotom Phone and showing a picture of Rose.
"Oh! Yeah, I can definitely see why you went all Scottish on him." Sun said.
"Yikes… I'd do the same thing if that happened to me." Mona said. "…Then again, I'd be punching him in the face instead of shoving him to a tree."
"At least you admit it." Camrin chuckled.
BGM: Freezington (Pokemon Sword and Shield)
"So!" Peony clapped his hands together. "Let's get our minds off of my bro by having ourselves a fun with this Adven-Tour!" He grinned. "We have three things to look for. Three Legendary Clues, to be exact!" He said and pulled out a few pieces of paper. "Check 'em out!"
Legendary Clue #1:
The King of Bountiful Harvests
There's a fairy tale in Freezington about the Legendary Pokémon known as the King of Bountiful Harvests. In the legends, the king is said to wear a massive crown on its head, but the wooden statue near the fields in the middle of the village shows no sign of a crown.
Legendary Clue #2:
The Legendary Giants
Far, far into the Giant's Bed lies a temple where the giant of stone sleeps. On the temple's door are strange words: "Let the... ... ...mon h... ... ...chang... ... ...one." The door remains firmly shut.
Sunken in the side of Snowslide Slope lies a temple where the giant of ice sleeps. On the temple's door are strange words: "Wa... togeth... ... ...iving... ...stal... of sno..." The door remains firmly shut.
Near where green meets snow in the Giant's Bed lies a temple where the giant of steel sleeps. On the temple's door are strange words: "Let... ... out... ... ...note... ...wak... ... ...iant ... ...eel. The door remains firmly shut.
On the distant paths of Three-Point Pass lies a temple where two giants sleep. On the temple's door are strange words: "Whe... ... ...ree ... ... ...door... ...all be ... ...ened." The door remains firmly shut.
Legendary Clue #3:
The Bird Pokemon of Legend
When the sun reaches its zenith, it shines directly down upon a great tree with leaves that seem to burn. It is there that the legendary wings come to roost.
"And there ya have it!" Peony grinned. "Which one do you wanna do first?"
"Um… I think we oughta do the first one." Weiss said. "The second one is a bit… obtuse."
"Not to mention it's kinda hard to read." Blake added.
"Ah, that's just part of the clue, my good kitty cat!" Peony said. "Now then! We ought to have uniforms for all of us!" He grinned before sweatdropped. "Aheheheh… well, I just have the one since it was gonna be me and Nia, but we can manage!" He said as he pulled out an adventuring uniform. "Hmm… ah, I know! Gloria, you can wear this!"
"Me?!" Gloria said in surprise.
"Of course! And we also need a chief on these expeditions, soooo… I'm appointing you!"
Gloria sweatdropped. "Can we put it to a vote instead?"
"Nope! You're the chief of these expeditions!" Peony grinned.
"…Oookay then." She said as she walked off into the other room.
"Definitely gonna have to make more, but that's alright!" Peony chuckled where Weiss would immediately see something on the table.
"Excuse me, but what's that?" She asked.
"Oh that? That's a comfy pillow. It was behind the building when I found it, so I thought "Hey, could make for a nice pillow." He said.
"This thing?" Sun picked it up. "It's not even soft! It's like… wood!"
"Heh, gotta make the most out of it!" Peony grinned, causing Sun to sweatdrop. Gloria would then walk out of the room.
"I feel a bit… heavy." Gloria said.
"Nonsense, you'll be fine!" Peony chuckled. "Now then, for this first adventure, I'm calling it: 'The Sacred Bonds of Sovereign and Steed!'" He grinned. "What do ya think!"
"…I think you just made it up on the spot." Anthony said.
"Heh! You say like that's a bad thing!" Peony said, causing them to sweatdrop.
"Right, I think we'll just go out and see what this clue has to offer." Gloria said as they walked out.
"You guys have fun!" Peony waved as they closed the door behind them.
"Alright, let's see… the statue has got to be here somewhere." Weiss said.
"Over there!" Blake said, pointing to the statue nearby as they walked/rolled over to it. However, as they walked, something caught Willow's attention as she looked over and saw a Cryogonal staring at her.
"Oh?" Willow wondered as she curiously walked toward it.
"Okay, something about this statue is a bit… weird looking." Neptune folded his arms. "I can't put my finger on it."
"Hmm…" Ling folded her arms. "Wait a minute, what about that thing that was on Peony's table. You know, his "pillow"?"
"Oh, you think it might fit on this?" Whitley wondered.
"It's a possibility!"
"I'll go get it." Winter said as she walked off.
"…Brrr!" Sun shivered. "Goodness, this place is freezing my tail off! How are you guys not bothered by this?!"
"We're from Atlas, this is nothing." Weiss said.
"Yeah, we're from Vacuo… the opposite of Atlas!" Sun complained. "Ugh, glad Leone's not here…"
"Why's that? Who's Leone?" Ling asked.
"My sister, she's a Lion Faunus." Sun explained. "And knowing how my sister likes to dress, she'd probably get frostbite."
"I doubt she is that bad."
"Let's see, sleeveless tube top that's really revealing, pants, boots and typically, a scarf." Neptune said. "And even then, the pants aren't covering it all."
Ling's eyes widened. "Oh my! …Wait, she that lion faunus that tends to punch things head on?"
"Oh, you've seen her?" Sun asked.
"I've seen her rip apart a Beowolf's head off and then roaring at a few other Grimm to scare them off. She was protecting a few kids too, if I recall correctly."
"Yup, that's her alright."
Ling shook her head. "Yeah, that outfit definitely screams frostbite."
"Indeed… I don't think she'd last long in Atlas." Whitley said.
"Not unless you give the lass a coat." Gloria said as they heard a door shut and Winter walked over to them with the "pillow" in hand.
"Didn't take much to convince him." Winter said as she placed it on the statue's head. "There we go."
"Okay, now it just looks ugly." Neptune said.
"Crow-ow…" A voice silently cried.
"Hmm? Honey, was that your stomach?" Kali asked.
"No? It didn't come from me." Ghira responded.
"Crow-now…"
"There it is again." Kali said.
Gloria turned her head. "Over there!" She said as they turned to see a small Pokemon with a large crown on his head. It slowly turned around and floated into the woods.
"What was that?" Weiss wondered.
"I am not sure, but I think it wants us to follow it." Blake said as they headed toward the small area where they saw the creature before them. The creature turned around and stared at them all, but then laid its eyes on Weiss, the latter looking back at it.

"Sis? You okay?" Whitley wondered.
"Crow-ow…"
"I… I think it wants me to battle it." Weiss said, slowly reaching to her side, as it was a bit difficult with her in a wheelchair. She got the Pokeball she wanted and looked directly at the Pokemon. "Very well. I accept." She said and tossed the Pokeball in the air, as Frost came out.
"Lass!"

"Alright, Frost… use Frost Breath!" Weiss ordered as the Froslass unleashed the Frost Breath, but the creature avoided the attack and unleashed a Psychic on her, hitting her head on.
"Lass!"
"Crow…"
"You alright?" She asked as Froslass nodded. "Good. Shadow-"
"Crow-ow!" The creature said, firing a Heal Pulse on the Froslass, confusing the two.
"Uh… thank you…?" Weiss tilted her head as she and the Froslass looked at each other and shrugged. "Shadow Ball!" She ordered as the Froslass fired a Shadow Ball directly on the creature. The creature let out a small low cry. "Alright, now use Frost Breath again!"
"Laaaass!" Froslass cried out, unleashing the Frost Breath on the creature, hitting him head on.
"Crow-owwwwn!" The creature cried, falling on its short legs… but it slowly rose up and looked directly at Weiss, seeming to nod in approval.

"Uh… did we win? I'm confused…" Weiss said.
"I… think so." Blake said.
"Okay, my turn!" Mona squared up. "I wanna fight the little guy next!" She grinned as the creature stared at Mona and waved its hand at her, as she felt herself lift up from the ground. "Who-whoa! What's going on?!" She exclaimed and suddenly she closed her eyes as a blue aura surrounded her.
"Mona! Are you okay?!" Camrin asked in shock.
"Relax. I am just using her as my voice piece for now."
"Huh?!" Everyone turned to the creature.
"I am Calyrex. I am known as the King of Bountiful Harvests." The creature, Calyrex, spoke… though the voice was female considering he was using Mona.
BGM: Calyrex's Theme (Pokemon Sword and Shield)
"What are you doing to her! You've kidnapped her!" Camrin said.
"It is no kidnapping. I am only using a fraction of the small power that I have to communicate with all of you. I assure you, your friend is fine. There are no ill effects."
"Easy now, Cam…" Chloe said. "I think we can trust him."
"What's going on here?!" Peony's voice called out as they turned to see him approaching him. "I heard a Pokemon battle out here and-… goodness, that is a big noggin!"
"For your information, it is my crown."
"Heh?" Peony turned to Calyrex, then Mona, then back at Calyrex, and then back at Mona again. "What the devil? …Why do I feel like I dodged a bullet here?"
"Now, was it you who put the crown on my statue, child?" Calyrex asked Weiss.
"No, it was my sister." Weiss responded.
"Hmm, you two do resemble each other greatly." Calyrex mused. "Still, I feel a connection between you and I. I felt it in our battle together."
"I will admit, it did feel different…"
"I bet it did." Calyrex nodded and looked at Weiss's cast. "Your leg… mind I ask what happened to it?"
"I… got a bit careless on an adventure I was on." Weiss admitted. "Twisted my ankle at first but someone numbed the pain. I used it an opportunity to continue my adventuring. All of that hard landing I did probably agitated it." She explained and closed her eyes, picturing Bouldergeist hammering her. "Not to mention that one particular battle did a number on it too. I definitely should have taken it easy…" She sighed.
"Hmm… if I had my full power back, I would heal your leg fully." Calyrex said solemnly. "Alas, I'm not at full strength. Putting the crown back on the statue awakened just a small fraction of my power."
"You mean that wasn't a pillow?" Peony asked in surprise.
"You used my crown as a pillow?" Calyrex turned to him.
"Mmph! I… uh…" Peony turned his head and whistled casually.
"Don't think that's gonna help ya, lad…" Gloria said.
"You mentioned that you are using a fraction of the small power you have. Why is that?" Winter asked.
"I used to reign over Galar as king in ancient times. When I reigned, I brought green to Galar's wastelands. I provided healing and blessings upon the land and also of mending the heart. I brought lush vegetations and harvests. With my right hand, I caused the land to be covered in verdant grass and blooms. On my left, I made the fields of fruit to become ripen and heavy. I was beloved by many… for I was a benevolent ruler." He started looking sad. "However… that was a long time ago. Nowadays, the people think of me as a fairy tale… it caused me to lose my power. My trusty steed even left me… and now, here I am in a weakened strength."
"That's sad…" Weiss solemnly said.
"All is not lost however. Considering I gained a little of my power, perhaps the people of Freezington might remember who I am. Perhaps you could ask around?"
"We will see what we can do, your majesty." Jen said.
"Ah, that honorific isn't really necessary."
"Definitely a humble king." Sun chuckled as they started walking to ask the townsfolk.
"Calyrex? Ah, the one from the fairy tale. It's certainly a grand tale, isn't it?"
"From that folk tale? Why are you asking me about it?"
"Ah, I heard about that tale… it is truly magnificent."
"Hmm…" The mayor folded his arms. "Do I remember the King of Bountiful Harvests? Of course I do! It's only the main attraction of Freezington, after all! I can imagine we'd get more tourists if the king were real though…" He said.
Everyone turned to look at each other and then returned to Calyrex where Willow would return with a Cryogonal with her. "What's going on?" Willow asked.
"It's… complicated." Weiss said as Willow and Cryogonal looked at each other before heading over.
"Ah, you return. Do they remember me?" Calyrex asked and spotted Willow. "Ah, hello human! I see you have bonded with a Cryogonal."
"Huh?!" Willow looked at Mona, then back at Calyrex. She raised her hands up. "I swear I didn't relapse!"
"Do not worry, m'lady. You are not drunk. Believe me, it caught us by surprise too." Klein said.
"Mime mime!"
"Oh… okay, phew." Willow sighed with relief. "But why is Mona-"
"It's complicated." Weiss responded.
"Unfortunately, lad… no one truly remembers you. They think you are but a legend." Gloria told him.
"Hmm…" Calyrex closed his eyes. "It is just as I predicted… no one truly believes that I am real."
"But you are real to us." Zoey reassured.
"Indeed… but…" Calyrex slowly bowed his head. "It seems the people of this land have indeed the bond they once shared with me."
"Ah, don't be such a mopey pants!" Peony said. "Just go on and show yourself to the people. They're bound to remember you!"
"I am not grieving, Mr. Loudmouth. I am the King of Bountiful Harvests, after all. I know better than to rely on humans remembering me. This proves that I cannot rely on human faith if I want my powers to return."
"Mr. Loudmouth?!" Peony exclaimed in shock.
"Hmm… if only my loyal steed were to return to me, I might regain something of what I lost…"
"Your… loyal steed?" Willow asked, still trying to comprehend what's going on.
"Of course! The four legged Pokemon that I used to ride across the land. The very same Pokemon that I am riding on at the statue over there. Alas, though we ventured through the land and crossed many mountains… as my power waned, I was forced to part with it. Now, I don't know where its at. Even if we find it, I doubt that it will recognize its loyalty to me. I suspect that it is no longer loyal. I have lost so much power… perhaps the villagers know something about my not-so-loyal steed. I will be in your debt if you could speak to them on my behalf. If any of you have any information you find, please let me know." He said and then floated away from them.

"Poor guy needs a hug…" Weiss solemnly said.
"Mmm…" Mona groaned, rubbing her head. "What happened…? What happened to the little guy with the big head?"
"You were possessed by the little guy." Anthony said.
"Oh, okay… wait… I WHAT?!" Mona yelled.
"He possessed you to be his mouth piece. He is known as Calyrex, the King of Bountiful Harvests." Camrin said as they started explaining what Calyrex had said, while also bringing Willow up to speed.
"Goodness, you're right… that is complicated." Willow said, scratching her cheek.
"Great, so if that little munchkin comes back, I'm gonna have to be his mouthpiece again?" Mona asked.
"Afraid so." Anthony nodded.
"…Ugh, fiiiiiine… I'll do it, but I'm not gonna like it." Mona grumbled.
"Mr. Loudmouth… who does he think he is!" Peony grumbled. "Do I sound like a large ham to you guys? Because frankly, I'm not a large ham at all! Goodness, the nerve of that Pokemon!"
"…Should we tell him?" Whitley whispered to Ling.
"I think it'd be best if we didn't." Ling responded.
"Good idea." Whitley nodded as they walked around town.
"Hmm…" The woman with the Spheal folded her arms. "The King's loyal steed is said to have had a favorite food. I can't remember for the life of me what it was… maybe go ask the mayor? He might know something."
"Alright." Blake nodded as they started to go to the mayor's house.
"Oh! Excuse me." One of the villager's spoke up. "The mayor isn't home at the moment. He went to go look at the crops at the Giant's Bed. It's southeast from here. Go through Frostpoint Field and keep to the left."
"Thank you." Kali nodded as they walked over to Frostpoint Field as a few Abomasnow and Audino curiously looked at them as they made their way into the field.

"Wow, it's getting greener already!" Sun said.
"Still a bit chilly though." Neptune muttered as they saw a few Nidoran running across the fields.
"AEEEROOOO!" A raspy voice cried as they looked up and saw an Aerodactyl flying overhead.
"What in the name of… what is that?!" Whitley said in shock, a bit intimidated by the size and shape of it.
"Let me take a look." Gloria pulled out her Pokedex.
"Aerodactyl: The Fossil Pokemon. Aerodactyl's sawlike fangs can shred skin to tatters—even the skin of Steel-type Pokémon."
"STEEL TYPES?!" Weiss yelled.
"Oh my…" Kali whispered.
"That is a very dangerous Pokemon…" Ghira said. "I wouldn't want to mess with it."
"Still… it looks pretty cool!" Neptune said, whipping out his scroll and letting go of Weiss's wheelchair as it started to roll down the hill.
"Uh… guys?" Weiss called out.
"Just a minute! I need to take a picture of this!" Neptune said, taking a picture of the Aerodactyl and showed it to Sun. "How's it look?"
"Oooh, not bad!"
"GUYS!" Weiss yelled.
"What?" Neptune turned around and saw that Weiss was rolling down the hill. "OH CRAP! WE'RE ON A SLOPE!"
"Zeraora, go get Weiss!" Blake called him out as Zeraora came out and rushed at Weiss's wheelchair as everyone else started running after Weiss. Zeraora dove at Weiss and grabbed the handles, quickly digging his heels into the ground to stop her from crashing into a Stonjourner that didn't even realize Weiss was about to slam into it.
"Phew…" Weiss sighed in relief, her heart racing like crazy.
"Ston?" Stonjourner wondered as it looked down at Weiss, doing a friendly wave at her and wandered off.
"You okay?!" Winter asked.
"Yeah… I think I just had 40 years taken off my life, but I'm okay… I think." Weiss said, giving Neptune the stink eye as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "Thanks Zeraora."
"Zeroar." Zeraora nodded, as he, Sun and Winter thumped Neptune upside the head.
"Dude, what were you thinking? You trying to break her even more?" Sun asked.
"I thought I had her sideways from the slope!" Neptune defended.
"Lad, you might wanna make it up to her." Gloria said.
"Hmm? What's all the ruckus?" A voice asked as they saw the mayor approach them. "Ah, it's the visitors! Forgive me, I was busy looking over the fields here. Unfortunately, it seems we will not have a bountiful harvest… it seems we are in for a hellish ride…" He said grimly. "Ah, but enough about that, you seem to have a question on your minds."
"Do you know what the King of Bountiful Harvest steed's favorite food is?" Ghira asked.
"Hmm… his steed's favorite food… ah, it is on the tip of my tongue, but I am not sure what it is. I think I have the answer back in my home. Come on." He said as they headed back to Freezington.

"Reins of Unity…?" Sun wondered.
"A steed of ice… but some say there was a steed of darkness…" Willow quietly read. "…Huh?"
"Freezington Snow Samba? The hell…" Gloria wondered aloud.
"Iceroot Carrots… Shaderoot Carrots…" Weiss read as Blake was reading over her shoulder.
"Nothing but tourism initiatives on this one." Klein said.
"Mime mime." Alfred said, miming reading a book.
"I think we found our answer." Weiss said. "Carrots!"
"Is it really that simple?" Anthony wondered.
"Apparently yes." Weiss nodded as they walked/rolled out where they spotted Calyrex in the same spot, then they approached him.

"Uuuugh, fine… get it over with." Mona said, closing her eyes as Calyrex took over.

"Did you find the answer that you were looking for?" Calyrex asked.
"Yeah, apparently it's carrots." Jen responded.
"Carrots… of course! I recall my steed bouncing in joy when it comes across its favorite food… it's always a hassle to get it to calm down." Calyrex chuckled. If we can just find some carrots, we can lure my steed to me!"
"Are you sure it's not just one steed?" Willow asked. "There could be two. According to legend, some saw a horse of snow, but some say they saw a horse of darkness."
"Hmm… I do not recall owning two steeds." Calyrex mused. "The human mind can be very fickle…"
"Hmm, I guess…" Willow rubbed her chin in thought.
"I think we can get some in the village." Winter said as she walked off with most of MAJC, then came back with two packages of carrot seeds.
"Well, we found some. We needed to trade some Dynite Ore that we found in the Max Lair, but it was worth it." Chloe said.
"Goodness, you can grow carrots out of that those packages?" Calyrex rubbed his head. "My word, times sure have changed… but this will do! However, I do not think we should use the village's garden. Hmm…" Calyrex folded his arms and closed his eyes, picturing two areas in the Tundra. "Ah! One garden is in a field of snow in the mountains, and another is in a cemetery. If we plant those seeds… then perhaps we can lure my steed."
"We'll take the ice mountain." Weiss said, holding a package of seeds in her hands.
"And I'll take the cemetery." Blake said.
"Understood." Calyrex nodded and then disappeared, though he took Mona with him.

"I… guess he's not done with her yet." Sun said and then looked to the others. "Now let's go!"
With a nod, Weiss and her group went to Snowslide Slope while Blake and her group went to the Old Cemetery.
With Weiss's Group…

"This looks to be the spot." Weiss said as she, her family, Ling, Neptune and Gloria had climbed up the mountain where a few Beldum and Phantump looked at them curiously, along with a few Delibird, Snom and Amaura.
"Yeah, this looks like it." Ling said.
"Let's get to plantin' then." Gloria said as Weiss opened up the package and started to plant the seeds in the ground with the help with the others. It was then that Calyrex and Mona arrived.
"You planted them?" Calyrex asked.
"Yeah." Weiss nodded.
"Alright, now stand back. It is time you witness my power!" Calyrex said as he put his hands on his hips and then started to do the Freezington Samba, with Mona unwittingly doing it as well.
"Mime mime!" Alfred cried, looking completely enamored as it started to mimic Calyrex, causing the others to snicker at this.
"It seems I've attracted a dancing partner!" Calyrex chuckled and then completed the dance, when he started panting. "There… that do it." He said, and then only one Iceroot Carrot sprouted. "Mmph! All of that dancing and it only produced one carrot…" He solemnly said. "My power truly has left me… but now is not the time for grieving. My steed will come!" He said. "Hmm… I wonder if that human cat will have better luck… I will be right back." He said and then took off with Mona.
Weiss rolled over to the carrot and put her hands on it. "Here goes." She said as she tried to pull it up.
"Weiss, wait a moment." Winter said. "With you in your condition, you won't be able to pull it out." Winter said as she knelt down and put her hands on the carrot. "I'll pull it with you."
Another hand placed itself on the carrot where they turned to see Whitley. "No. We'll pull it together." He said.
Weiss smiled. "Thanks, you guys." She then gripped the carrot tightly. "You ready?"
"Ready." Winter nodded.
"One…"
"Two…"
"THREE!" They yelled, using their combined strength to pull out the Iceroot Carrot.
Willow smiled. "That was beautiful." She said, trying not to tear up at the sight.
"There, now we should head back and-"
"Briiiiiice!" A voice cried as they turned to see an ice horse running down the slope, having caught the scent of the carrot but wasn't aware it was nearby.
"Whoa… that horse…" Gloria whispered. "That is fockin' majestic!"
"I was about to say the same thing… minus the F bomb." Neptune said.
"I think it's headed for Freezington." Ling said.
"Come on, let's follow it!" Weiss said as they chased after it.
At the Old Cemetery…
A Shaderoot carrot appeared before the Belladonnas, Sun, MAJC and Peony. "Mmm… even one carrot was produced as well." Calyrex said. "Hmm, my powers have truly left me…"
"One should be good enough." Blake said as she knelt down, and together with Sun and Kali, they pulled the Shaderoot Carrot out of the dirt.
"Woo! That was easy!" Sun grinned.
"Yeah, it was." Blake smiled, looking at the carrot in her hands as she put it down… and saw the same Absol from before in front of her. "Huh?" She quietly wondered as she stared at the Absol.
"Sol…" Absol spoke.
"What are you…"
"Honey, you alright?" Ghira asked, putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Huh? Oh, yeah… I was just looking at that Pokemon right there." Blake said, as they looked to see that no Absol was there. Instead, a Mimikyu walked by and noticed them. "Huh…?"
"Mimikyu!" The Mimikyu waved and walked off.
"You zoned out over a Mimikyu?" Sun teased.
"I… no, it wasn't. I swear I saw a-"
"Sheeeeeighhhhd!" A voice cried as they turned to see a ghostly horse gallop by.
"Ah! That steed… could it be…" Calyrex spoke. "Yes, it's Spectrier! That was my steed! It must have caught the scent of its favorite food but it does not know where it's at." He said. "If I had to take a guess, it's heading straight for Freezington. We must hurry!" He said as they nodded and they took off… but once they got to Freezington, they saw both horses rampaging in town.

"Briiiiiice!"
"Sheeeeeighhhd!"
"Two of them?!" Gloria yelled.
"Glastrier?!" Calyrex exclaimed. "I don't recall owning two steeds! My goodness, has my memory truly gone to pot?"
"Rrrgh…" Weiss rolled into the garden as Blake did the same.
"Both of you stop this!" They both yelled as Glastrier turned to Weiss and Spectrier turned to Blake.
BGM: Spectrier and Glastrier (Pokemon Sword and Shield)
The King's Loyal Steeds - Glastrier and Spectrier
Weiss had called out Razor and Blake had called out Zeraora. Both had their Pokemon lunge at the horses which Glastrier defended itself with Iron Defense and Spectrier used a point blank Shadow Ball at Zeraora, knocking it back.
Glastrier whinnied and then rushed at Razor with a Take Down, but the Weavile jumped out of the way… only for Glastrier to rush at Weiss as she let out a gasp. In a quick movement, a Water Pulse struck the ice horse while Weiss was forcibly moved away. She would see that the Water Pulse had come from Neptune's Wartortle, and Neptune had got her out of the way. "Neptune…" She whispered.
"I got ya!" Neptune said as Spectrier let out a pained whinny as it took a step back as Sun's Monferno had stopped it with a Flamewheel from attempting to harm Blake.
"You alright?" Sun asked.
"Yeah!" Blake nodded as Zeraora got back up and shook it off.
Glastrier and Spectrier both whinnied and suddenly shot off the other way, attempting to rush into the crowd… but with a cry from Calyrex, they both turned the other way, avoided trampling everyone and then disappeared into the mountains.

"You guys okay?" Winter asked.
"Yeah, we're fine." Blake nodded and turned to Weiss. "How about you?"
"Oh, I've been through worse." Weiss chuckled and then looked down on the ground, spotting two tufts of hair. One being white and one being black as both Weiss and Blake picked them up.
"Two steeds… Glastrier and Spectrier…" Calyrex mused. "What could this mean…"
"It means…" Peony walked up. "That this Adven-Tour got a whole lot more interesting."
Meanwhile, in Toad Town…
BGM: Royal Research Lab (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"Phew, it took a few weeks, but we managed to finally managed to do it." Pietro said. "Her AI Core was badly damaged, a lot of her programming corrupted beyond repair." He said and turned to Susie, Nitori, Tails and Dr. Light, who Penny had called up to help out.
"Yeah… but we were able to repair her." Tails said.
"Did some remodeling, but it was worth it!" Susie chuckled as R3-B7 sat up.
"…Where am I?"
"You're in Pietro's workshop, R3-B7." Dr. Light said. "He set up shop here the first time he came to Toad Town."
"Pietro…?" R3-B7 wondered and turned to Penny. "Penny…"
"Hiya!" Penny smiled. "You look way different now!"
"…I do?"
Nitori pulled out a mirror. "Take a look for yourself!" She said as R3-B7 took a look at herself.
Her face was heavily remodeled as it was cream colored just like Penny as she had a mouth and two eyes (Complete with pupils!) but her right eye was covered in blue hair. Her eyes were red in color as she also had the cat ears that they had kept. Her robotic arms and hands were free of any gauntlets as there was a small blue robe that was attached to her neck that went down to her elbows. She was wearing a light blue skirt with dark blue in the lower part of the skirt. She was also wearing blue boots that went up to her knees as the front end of the boots were colored in red.
"Oh my… I've been completely changed!" She said in awe.
Penny smiled. "You sure have!"
"…I need a new name. R3-B7 was the old me…"
"A new name? Hmm, what should we name you?" Tails wondered.
"Hmm… ah! I got it!" Penny pounded her fist into her palm and turned to R3-B7. "I've got the perfect name for you."
"And what is it?" She asked as Penny let out a smile.
"Your new name is…"
Aaaaand that new name is gonna be revealed... later! Gonna keep ya in suspense for a bit. Mwahahaha.
