It was nearly time Queen Victoria noticed to turn in for the night. The set and night took its place. She was up for a bit in her study looking over some things. Her trusted aide John Brown and her butlers as well guards, Phipps and Grey by her side and in her presence.

Stopping for a moment a pondering thought Rose in the queen's thoughts for one her double Charles.

"Has there been response as of late, Lord Grey?"

Grey turned to her. Dutifully. "No, majesty, there has not been one utter word of response."

Her face fell a bit. "Oh, how unfortunate. I'd at least except some sort of reply from the Baroness."

"I was told by the servants she was out of the country for sometime."

"Have they any regulation when she will return?"

He shook his head. "They have not said. Though pray it be soon. The wait is utter most excruciating."

"Yes, I can only imagine," she said sorrowfully, thinking about it. "a hearts' love tends to do so. The lingering of waiting can be rather painful. But the results is joyous," she smiled, "I am happy for you Lord Grey. It is a fine match indeed and I was glad to give my blessing. I'm quite sure when the Baroness finds out she too shall be overjoyed."

A smile thinned itself on Grey's lips thy e Queen did not see as it was covered up by his tone of worry.

"What of the Earl? Her cousin? He is quite protective of her."

The Queen softly chuckled. "Yes, he is quite so. But, I believe he will be pleased and understanding. There shall be nothing to worry about in such manner."

Grey plastered a smile of relief.

"I believe you are correct, you're majesty."

"Yes," she hummed softly, closing her eyes for a moment, seeing a well scene in mind. Smiled, opening her eyes set them on Grey with a tender happiness. "I cannot wait for the time to present itself. What a blessing it will be."

A blessing? You weren't quite sure, nervously your heart raced and eyes widely stared up at grand archway entrance of Weston College. You and Harmony had just arrived for this night's function, others of high standing backgrounds too arrived and headed their way inside. The night was a bit warm with brisk of a chill, but nothing more. It was a good thing Harmony had her swall you made to take it.

"Oh wow," Harmony gasp astonished, looking up at the school wide-eyed. Her mouth nearly dropped. "It's so big!"

You come behind her and drap her shawl over her shoulders. "Yes, quite so. Here, put this on. Now," you held out a hand, she took it smiling up at you, you return the love. "let us go shall we?"

Excitement filled eyes and cheeks. "Yes! Let's!" Her little outburst turned a few heads with disapproving looks, you paid them no mind only remained attention to your sister, the world didn't matter. Just her.

You give her hand a light yet tight squeeze. The same one you'd give her before. "Yes, let's."

Picking up the skirt of your dress lightly, hold your head up and forward walk. Poised. Harmony glanced quickly up at you, eyes bright and glossy she barely blinked. Only focused solely her sister by her side, a bit of flush crossed her cheeks. Her mind wondered for a moment, if she...she herself would be like you. The thought took her breath away, even more when you dropped your eyes to her for a moment and smiled warmly. Her little heart leaped with a flutter and for a moment Harmony blinked replacing you with a faceless kind woman with long black hair. Blinking again, Harmony came back finding the woman gone and you back. Stunned and confused for a moment, shook it off the moment she walked into the grandeur large dinning hall of the school. Where everyone gathered, Harmony's mouth nearly clamped shut once she entered.

The room was decorated beyond anything she'd seen, such a glorious setting, the room danced with bright warm lights candles gleaming from the chandlers handing from all around. Round tables placed throughout the floor with candelabras and fine white cloths set upon them. People dressed in their finest of different ages conversating amongst themselves. Harmony gripped your hand tighter, moved closer you felt her pressing nearly up against your leg. She trembled slightly, there was no doubt in your mind she wanted to bury her face in skirt to hide. She did so often back in the village and when it came things such as this unless she felt an instant affinity to the person.

"Be calm," you gently whisper, setting a gentle hand upon her head. Her body trembles stopped a bit, just little a few times they came back like hiccups.

How nervous she was, eyes of others would at times look over. You took over and gave a courteous nod lightly to them smiling delicately. As one of you stature should and one of your title. A few people would inquire and point out being Madam's Red's daughter and heir. Which you answered back formally that you where, it was the dress that gave it away really. Because that seem to be what they pointed out, you of course put on airs of honor and appeasement. While, cringing and breaking inside.

What a chore smiling was becoming now, but you kept it up with everyone, not even once wavering. For you had to uphold the family name. Hidden within in the shadows of the guest a pair of yellow-greenish eyes remain pleasingly on you, flicker over to Harmony smile joyfully giggling.

A giggle that turned Harmony's attention to look around the room, trying to find what she believe she heard. She saw no familiar face she knew and her heart slightly dropped, gripped tighter on you. She nearly knocked you over, but you steadied the two of you quickly and flawlessly. Turn to her.

Her eyes where starting to mist and bottom lip trembled slightly. "Harmony," you quickly pull her to the side away from others as quickly as you could so no one would see. At that moment the Vice Headmaster, Johann Agares came out welcoming the guest and visitors to the opening ceremony for the traditional cricket ceremony. You cared nothing for it, only Harmony, drop to her level hold her face in your hands delicately. "what is it? What is wrong?" You ask worried.

Tears began forming in the corner of her eyes, right away your thumbs wipe away the tears. What was wrong? She didn't say it, did something spook her? You weren't sure. Lightly you press your forehead to hers' and hum soothingly. Behind you the opening ceremony began and each house presented themselves with their players adorned individually in particular outfit that symbolized their respective dormitories. A part of you wanted to see when the house where announced, especially the Green Lion but you remained with Harmony. That didn't stop certain eyes from spotting you hidden in the corner and the worry look your face held. Nearly broke their concentration and focus to hurry to your aide, one thing though their cheeks burned scarlet seeing not just you but also your appearance. Their heart never raced so fast and beat so hard against their chest before. If only, they thought you could have seen them and the two of you could lock eyes as before.

Forest and the sun.

All in the room would vanish, nothing would matter but just you. You'd smile sweetly at him, while he would return it more sheepishly but loving all the same. If only you looked, Edward wished.

You wished too to know what troubled Harmony, your soothing humming seem to do little effect with her. Tears started falling a little, she tried to tell speak but the words where broken from her cries. Trying hard to remain calm, sigh heavily, wipe her tears away before they stained her dress.

"Dearest Harmony, you must tell me what is that affecting you?" you plead, trying to smile. "So that I may know what to do, d-did you not what to come? Shall we go home?" She shook her head. "Do you fancy some sweets?" Again she shook her head. "...Is your dress too tight?" She shook her again and again with each question you asked. Soon you reached your limit with guessing, unsure what to say or words to use ached inside.

Normally you could figure this out in a pinch, but for some reason you couldn't. You mind raced with thoughts on what to do, missing the opening ceremony and all those who came through, take a sharp breath release her face and take her hands in yours delicately. She squeezed them right away, surprising you for a moment. They trembled, her hands...they...

A shadow cast over you and Harmony, "My, now Lady Harmony why do we have tears?" Sebastian asked, whipping out a handkerchief dabbing her tears away. He startled you, your head snapped around and eyes shot up to him. He kept his focus on Harmony cleaning her tears away, "there." he finished. "Now," his eyes slide to yours a smile faintly. Heled out a hand to you. "what are you doing here and on this floor, Baroness? Hm?"

You take his hand and stand, "Mr. Sebastian!" Harmony charged, jumping on his leg, accidently knocked forward. Causing you to slam into Sebastian and him into the wall. Causing a small crash, luckily when others looked they saw no one.

Sebastian managed to minimize it, "Well," he huffed fixing his glasses and clothes.

"Do you mind?" you cough gaining his attention, he looked to you raising an amused brow. One you didn't share, give a scowl. Sigh. "Can you provide some distance?"

He chuckled a bit. "Come now, when was the last time we have ever been this close?" He leaned in whispering softly. Moving closer on you, raising a hand push his chest away from you, cursing the position you came to be in. Thanks to Harmony, nearly slammed against the wall if Sebastian hadn't wrapped an arm around you tucking you close, and turn quickly taking the blow instead.

Your eyes narrow at him. "I'd rather not be this close," you respond, pushing yourself away from him. But remembered his around your waist and the strength that came with it.

"Save it for another time then?" he whispered in your ear, "Seems your heart agrees."

Red rushed your cheeks, "Why I hav-"

"Mr. Sebastian," Harmony cried, turning you and Sebastian attention quickly to her. Right away he released you, you drop down to her level once again. Sebastian too. He took out the same handkerchief and dabbed her eyes.

It was working, her tears began stopping. A smile of relief spread on you. "There we go, much better," Sebastian said tucking the handkerchief away, "a young lady such as yourself should not be crying. It is not lady like in public."

"S-Sorry," Harmony muttered wiping her eyes a bit, looking at him, smiled a little. He smiled back. "why are you wearing glasses?" She pointed.

He lowered her finger gently. "It is rude to point Lady Harmony, I am here with the master currently."

Harmony's eyes lite up at the mention of Ciel's name. Her mood changed like a snap. "Ciel! I want to see Ciel!" She jumped up and down on the balls of her feet. Clapping.

You and Sebastian where stunned for a moment, look at each other briefly, turn back to Harmony. Her amber eyes shining joyously as before. "Of course we shall see our dear cousin." You tell her delightfully. "We must find him first, we shall look together. Let me rise an-"

Sebastian took your hand, helping you up. You eyed for a moment, as he dusted your dress clean quickly. "Much better, well, I must be off." he bows to Harmony then you, "oh, before Lady Harmony if you could please keep my presence a secret and our relation?" He held a finger to his lips looking at her.

She understood, clasping her hands over her mouth nodding. Pleased to see he left.

"Come," you hold out a hand to her. "let us go and look for Ciel."

She agreed and took you hand. You peer out from behind the curtains making sure no one noticed, no one had they where too busy mingling, good. Holding Harmony's tight slip out and back into the evening. All the house where out, you saw, each one wearing what represented their dorm. The Green Lions looking like knights, the Scarlet rather noble, the Violet dark, and the Blue scholarly. Among the houses you noticed some familiar faces you hoped wouldn't take notice of you, walking pass a few. Though someone from Violet, noticed you behind their hood and followed you with their eyes carefully.

"I don't see, Ciel," Harmony hummed with a small pout looking around. "where is he?"

You hadn't found him yet either, looking for him among the sea of people, stop for a moment feel this familiar yet eerie chill down your spine as though someone was watching you. Turning around you find no one, yet the feeling didn't vanish. Goosebumps crawled across your skin, you nearly started shaking if you didn't swallow it down.

It was amusing to say the least, as they watched the color drain from your face and the darting of your eyes looking everywhere. Like predator upon its prey, so dangerous and sharp your eyes where. The same, they remembered when they first met you. Oh, such memories. Such wonderful memories, it pleased them to see you, you and their little mouse.

Swallowing the lump formed in your throat, there was no threat you saw, slowly you began calming down. A hand reached out and lightly touched your hand, caused you to leap back gasping, ready to throw a strike if they hadn't said your name.

"May!"

You stop the reaction at the sound of Edward's voice and hold of your hand, that brought you back. Squeezing his hand a bit, that trembled which you tried to hid. But, he saw it, in your eyes mainly for a moment. Never had seen...you stare in such a shrill way they nearly whimpered when his eyes meet with your for a moment. Before you hid it and smiled.

"Edward," you said rather breathless and pleased. His eyes narrowed searching your face for any crack that might be you tried to hide, but he found none. So far. Squeezing his hand this time softly, brought him back to you. Your smile and presence. "you look dashing!"

He smile softly. "And you like a princess."

Your smile dropped for a moment, replaced with fluttering of the heart and bright warmth look in your eyes that creased your cheeks with dusted red. Darting your eyes to the side a moment, giggle a bit. Earning his handsome warm smile, Harmony stood next to you watching what was unfolding before her. Nearly smiled when someone caught her eyes.

"Soma!" she nearly screamed, letting go of your hand zipped over to him.

He dropped to his knee, arms spread open, scooped her up the moment she jumped in them. Hugged her tightly. Their cheeks pressed together, laughing. "Harmony!"

"Veerji!"

Soma laughed heartily, hugging her tighter. Getting a giggle from her, two of Soma's scarlet house members came over. That you knew and nearly chocked on your own breath.

Edger Redmond and Joanne Harcourt.

Your whole body froze, with the pounding of your heart in your ear, wondered if they might...might notice you. They went over by Soma who happily introduced them to Harmony. She bowed kindly to them and they back, Edger went as far as lightly pinching her cheeks, causing her to laugh a bit. Soma snuggled his cheek closer to hers.

"My, what a charming lady," Edger said, when he noticed you. Rose a brow.

You stiffen screaming inside, Joanne noticed you too and your heart skipped quite a few beats before just stopping. Noticing their attention behind him, Soma turned around finding you. The smile he had fell, eyes brow rose, eyes widen, and breath taken away. The only thing he felt was his beating heart that heated up. It didn't go unnoticed, Edger and Joanne noticed, smiled. Edward brows pinched tightly at the prince.

"M-M..."Soma fumbled trying to find the words, sheepishly gushing out. Cleared his throat, held himself dignified bowed respectfully to you, holding Harmony carefully. "Like a ruby, you look lovely, May. I am pleased to see you here."

He came back up, you heard him breaking away from Edger and Joanna. Look at Soma a bit flustered. "Y-yes, thank you. You look quite handsome, Prince Soma."

A hand came down on the prince's shoulder, it was Edger. "So, this is the infamous Baroness. A pleasure." he respectfully bowed. Joanna too. You quickly do the same, remaining tensed. "Huh?" Edger took a few steps closer, leaning in close to you, barely leaving an inch between you both.

Your heart raced, Soma and Edward freaked, you screamed inside mentally. Praying from the intense look Edger was giving you wouldn't allow him to discover anything...familiar.

"What interesting eyes, they seem..."he pondered, tapping his chin a bit.

Realizing where this was going, Soma quickly jump over to you, took your hand, and pulled you with him. "May, please why don't you and Harmony join me for a dance? Or let us get something to eat, excuse us."

He gets ready to take off, when someone comes over stopping him with a single glare. "Just what are you doing?" Ciel demanded arching a stern brow at him. While quickly flashing a puzzled and shock look at you.

"Ciel!" Harmony leaps out of Soma's arms and hurries to Ciel, throwing herself on him. "I found you!"

He gave a nod, taking her by the hand as she jumped up and down thrilled. "Ciel," you gasp, look away for a moment. Give him a smile. "hello. You look...astounding."

"Yes," he grunted a bit. "thank you. Now, again, Soma what where you about to do with my cousins?"

Before Soma could say a single thing, Lizzie and her family appear. The moment both girls laid eyes on one another, threw themselves at one another, into a loving embrace. Gaining a few on lookers, which was alright. You stand between Soma and Edward, smiling.
