Mosrak turned his head sparely to look at the doctor, as if maybe she had something to do with this. 'This has got to be contained… none shall be allowed to escape… I've got to be seen to hold power, to maintain control!' he thought, as he now turned to look to his general. "Go, damn you… and find out what is going on here… and, Loirak, stop it!"

"Ask you wish, Mosrak… your soldiers will handle it!" and with that said his general stepped away, signing for two further Kay'lah's to follow him.

"I hope this as nothing to do with you, traveller?" he asked sharply to the doctor.

The doctor shook his head. "War is not the answer, Mosrak... I would never take up harms against anyone until all avenues had been explored!"

.

A split second later, a group of Reunet's stormed the royal chamber, breaking down the doors to the chamber and throwing the general hard to the floor.

'Not the best idea.' thought the doctor, as a full on battle was never going to be a plan of her own thought or imagination.

"Mosrak you… you have gone too far…' were the cries of a Reunet soldier, his arm pointing directly at the ruler. 'due to your actions… and thirst our planet, our once shared home, has been torn right into two… with our race on the brink of death!"

"Ah and how it should be." Mosrak called out, in total defiance.

The leader now stood up from his place on his throne and took his bladed staff in hand, a glare to his eye. "I am the ruler here… And hear me when I say, this is our planet…' Mosrak pointed to the ground below his feet to empathise his point. 'There are true tales, tales that tell of the shift in the ground, the shift that allowed us, the Kay'lah, to walk free out of it… in the same tales, the earth below our feet only helped you spread…"

"Tales… and stories that, no doubt, you've come to tell yourself and your own eager followers... to make them believe that they are far more important than they are!" called out a female Reunet, of the attack group.

"In our stories, Reunet, we stand better for it! Pii'wan is our… The true balance is in my hands." snapped Mosrak, his hand firmly clinched here.

.

The doctor knew the true power of one's words and actions, and how they can easily cause damage and pain, and so the doctor chose to step forward before both parties. "Please let there be calm here,' she called out, but as she looked at both sides, the doctor just saw both the Reunets and Kay'lahs still pushing and jostling for power and victory. 'These are not the days for fighting… not the days to strive for war!"

The doctor here still believing above all else that she could still, even if for one second, get these two sides of Pii'wan talking, rather than them trying to line up for war, battle and confrontation, that good will only come from it.

The same Reunet male who had first spoken to Mosrak turned to face the stranger, he eyes her up and down. "Talk, ah, we will only find grounds to talk once our own in are free." To the doctor this was something, a start, but as she turned to face Mosrak she saw that it was never going to be possible.

"Grounds to talk... there will be no outcome that will suit you stranger... as my goal is to stand as ruler of Pii'wan!"

"Then we shall free our kin ourselves." stated the male to Mosrak, stepping by the doctor, and stirring the mud ruler down. 'and Mosrak if you know what is good for you you'd heed my warning... keep your men back... allow us to keep our stronghold and never, ever cross our path again!" he ended, a finger pointing right at the Kay'lah.

"Ah, allow you to survive… to live on… I shall not… I will not!" were the words of Mosrak, pointing his staff at the Reunet soldier.

"Why don't you listen to them, Mosrak… why can't you see sense here!" snapped the doctor still in hopes of getting some peace some resolution.

Mosrak swiped a hand before him to silence this. "I've never heard such rot! Now know this.. and this alone... None here shall see a tomorrow!' raged Mosrak, the leader pointing at those who had broken into his chamber. 'By coming here today you have only sealed your fate."

.

In this altercation the doctor finds herself in the centre of two forces, both on the verge of battle; as tensions were driven to boiling point. She felt surely trapped in true danger, danger not even the choice of 'run' could save her and all around her. "Please…' the doctor stated, her voice quiet at first, almost as if she wasn't saying it herself. 'Please..." she came again.

The doctor saw the lead Reunet look at her, she smiled at this. 'Maybe war can be avoided.' she thought. "Please stop, not like this.' she spoke on, firm in voice. 'Fighting like this will make you no better than him…"

"Ah, no Reunet shall ever fall to Mosrak's level!" was the leader's reply to this.

"Then listen... and listen now; you've made your point and proven yourself worthy to stand tall, but war would merely throw all that away... would only make things worse for you and the other's you wish to protect!"

The leader here looked dead at Mosrak. "And what would you have me do, stranger!?"

"Protect your people, by all means, but leave this day... and let words be the answer.

"Words... do you think he would answer to words... we had peace, he was the one who threw it away."

"I see that... don't think I done." she stated, the doctor here never lowering his sight from Mosrak, as she did not know what the Kay'lah leader would do next.

The leader looked across at the chained Reunets and then lowered his head.

"Hold off Mosrak's soldiers, free your people and leave… and then if Mosrak chooses to follow us then… then war is sadly your only option." were the words of the doctor.

.

Again the Reunet aimed their weapons at the general, as they saw him push himself up. "Hold it right there… if we don't have your blessing Mosrak… at least we'll have our freedom this day." called out one of the chained Reunet, who had come to the castle with the doctor. The leader of the Reunet nodded at hearing this and broke their chains.

One Reunet then came to broke the chains of the doctor. "If you want to see tomorrow I suggest you come with us stranger." as he knew that the doctor had willingly stepped forward to help them.

.

"Doctor, thank you." called out the young Reunet, as she came to the doctor's side and hugged her.

"I did nothing!" was her reply.

"You stood up to Mosrak... did all that you could to make the Kay'lah see sense."

"But it didn't work." Kanah smiled.

Mayou joined Kanah at the doctor's side, placed a hand on Kanah's shoulder. "This isn't a place for talking, Mosrak would soon see us in chains."

Kanah turns to face her leader and nods, she then turned to look back at the doctor. "Doctor, please you must come with us." Kanah asked of her.

The doctor takes the hand of Kanah. "There as got to be away to resolve this...' she nods. 'peace must return."

"And one day it shall." stated Mayou.

.

"You shall not see a tomorrow!' raged Mosrak, the leader pointing at those trying to leave. 'Do you hear me, none shall see tomorrow!" It was too late however to stop so many, the Kay'lah guards caught off guard.

.

The doctor, Mayou and Kanah joined those who were escaping, the doctor not wishing for now to look back.

The group the doctor was in kept on running, either one stopping, side-by-side they ran out into the city. Unchallenged they were able to now see the gates of Bornew; then suddenly the doctor heard the call of the Kay'lah soldiers who were quick on their heels, no doubt under orders from Mosrak to kill or stop all who had escaped.

.

The doctor here now chose to look back over her shoulder, as she somehow sensed that something bad was about to happen. Her eyes met the sight of a Kay'lah soldier with his weapon being aimed in their direction. 'Got to act... none shall fall... one must live.' were her thoughts here as the doctor knew she couldn't allow for either one of them to die, and so pushed young Kanah into Mayou's arms. The doctor here called out to Mayou in hopes of warning him, "Get her out of here, you hear me... get her out!"

Mayou nodded in response, pulling the young female away.

However, Kanah wasn't willing to just come away and tried to pull from.

"You heard him, Kanah, he wanted you to live." said Mayou, as he struggled to keep hold of her arm.

.

A smile came to the doctor's face, she saw that the young female was safe, but she was then hit by a Kay'lah's red blaster fire.

.

Kanah, as she was pulled away, heard the blast and in Mayou's grip looked back to see the doctor fall.

.

The doctor was injured and in pain, she lowers quickly to one knee, then falling forward to the ground. Her hearts here bated slowly, she had started to gasp for air; all her body was slowly shutting down. The doctor as she lay there had felt this feeling times before, even if neither doctor wished for this time to occur.
