BP: Thanks for your reception of the rewrite. I'll try my best to improve so you could enjoy it.

Ten Months Later…

"Free groceries…for someone pretty like you." A shopkeeper smiled at what looked like an aesthetically pleasing woman. In reality, it was Naruto. He took the heavy bag of groceries and ran away, just as the illusion dropped. The shopkeeper looked around, shaking his head.

"What!? Impossible! What did...!?" The man ran out of the shop, looking for the thieving culprit.

"The thief went that way!" Another person pointed, as he heard the person run away.

"There's a theft? Someone, call the Uchiha Police Force!" A third village cried.

"How'd the thief do that!?" The first shopkeeper yelled, as everyone went looking for the thief. Meanwhile, Naruto sat in the alley looking over his groceries, munching on an apple thoughtfully. Hiding quietly with an illusion that made everyone think the alley was empty.

Ever since he had mastered Mind Control and Illusion to a certain degree, he had been testing them on villagers so that their treatment of him would at least be nicer.

Why not get something out of it while he was at it? He didn't have much money for groceries anyway, so he might as well. It wasn't as if anyone would help him. He had accepted that he was going to do this alone the moment he drank the extract.

Ten months had passed since the fateful day has passed and training couldn't be going better, with the help of Kurama. Naruto was almost 7 years old and he was never caught by the villagers anymore…not when Illusions or Mind Control was used, anyway.

Even if there is a trained shinobi, Naruto had learnt to use the Chakra Suppression Technique, where he rendered his chakra to the point it became completely undetectable. Even gifted sensors wouldn't be able to detect him.

Although it came with a downside that he would be unable to use ninjutsu or genjutsu, but that is when other fighting styles such as his taijutsu, kenjutsu and his psychic powers come in.

Being inspired by the Fūnyū no Jutsu, a wide variety of objects and even living things can be stored within scrolls, and can be released when the scroll is opened or meets a specific condition, Naruto had also designed a pair of steel cuffs that covered his forearm with fūinjutsu seals that stored his katanas rather well, and he could now summon the weapons to his hand whenever he wanted.

He started in the morning and trained all day long so that after sleep he could start again the next day. His clones also took to stalking different ninja to learn about their abilities and weaknesses and to update more obscure information such as the Sharingan of the Uchiha or the Byakugan of the Hyūga Clan.

Before he went to sleep, Naruto would sort out these notes and to review everything he knew and learnt. A notable point to Naruto was that ever since he got his psychic powers, he was able to remember things faster, like he had a photographic memory.

Another advantage he had was the tailed beast inside him. It turned out that one that was sealed inside of a human gave that person immense amounts and almost unlimited stamina, which meant he could take on intense training regimes compared to a normal shinobi for an entire day.

Which was a good thing, since chakra control was something he had trouble over due to the vast amount of chakra he had…if it could be called chakra any longer.

His chakra was less blue than purplish-pink now and unless he used Kurama's chakra to mix with red chakra instead, the distinct blue of his chakra was almost gone. It was almost as if this new thing was taking over him or something.

Although he believed that he would be fine, he felt like he was more detached and whatever thought of not harming villagers for what they did to him because of his dream of be Hokage was almost out the window. Like for instance, he wasn't afraid of using his abilities to steal from the shopkeeper if it benefitted him.

Not that he hated this, or anything. In fact, he almost liked the fact that he could fight back. He had the power to do that to them. He almost felt sorry lying to the Hokage about his new powers. Almost.

It's not as if anyone would understand he did what he had to do, anyway. The best he could do was to keep a diary to try and analyse the effects of the extract in him and record any inner thoughts or changes he felt.

Naruto gestured to the groceries, a destination in mind. The groceries vanished, to his home as it was the place he thought of. Naruto smiled. He was getting better at teleportation, it seemed.

"What's going on?" A voice had asked the distraught shopkeeper. Naruto dared to peek out of the alleyway, recognizing the pair as Uchiha Shisui and Itachi. The speaker turned out to be the latter.

Naruto inwardly groaned, recognizing those two. Who didn't?

He noted that those two would be hard to sneak past, especially since they are the smartest members. In fact, rumors started that even at his age, Itachi thought like a Hokage. There was no way he would sneak past without alerting one of those two, if they are on the lookout.

Which meant, he needed a distraction.

Naruto narrowed his eyes, and took control of the man.

"Oh, I cheated on my wife." The man blurted out, before covering his mouth.

Naruto blinked. He did not see that coming. He was supposed to tell one truth other than what happened.

"YOU WHAT?" ….and unfortunately, his wife was nearby. His wife took some sort of harisen to beat up the man in public. At least it worked out for him. Naruto came out while a crowd gathered, and snuck past the crowd, and also past the amused pair who were going in to try and stop the beating.

As he ran past them, Shisui turned in time to see a little boy with red hair running away. He stared at the area where he saw the boy disappear.

"Shisui, what is it?" Itachi questioned.

"A man started causing a scene, and a little boy who would normally be curious was running away? Don't you think it's strange?"

"You think the boy caused it?" Itachi asked, looking at where Shisui was watching.

"I'm almost sure. But where could he even hide?" Shisui wondered.

"The alleyway? But I saw no one even with my Sharingan…" Itachi suggested.

"Hmm…a genjutsu that is difficult to see through, which is unusual, don't you think?" Shisui acknowledged. "It's almost like his genjutsu have a physical form to it. Like it was not all in your head."

Itachi nodded. "You'd think he was from the Kurama clan, where they have the incredible talent. Maybe Hokage-sama knows something?"

"Let's go ask him." Shisui suggested, and both headed for the Hokage Tower. When they reached, they knocked on the door.

Sarutobi opened the door. "Ah, Shisui-kun, Itachi-kun. Come in."

Itachi politely closed the door, as Sarutobi asked, "What brings you to my office this late in the night?"

"We wanted to ask you something, Hokage-sama." Itachi replied, bowing.

"What is it?" Sarutobi was curious.

"Do you know anyone who can cast genjutsu at a level that we almost can't see through it? Besides the Kurama Clan and our own." Shisui questioned.

Sarutobi scratched his head. "What, did something happen in the village square again?"

"You can say that." Itachi answered.

"I am not sure, actually." Sarutobi admitted. "But it's likely Naruto-kun."

"Wait, that goofy boy who liked playing pranks on everyone else, but stopped a year ago?" Shisui blinked. "Did something make him stop those pranks?"

"I don't know. Last year on his birthday he drank something foreign and when I found him, he was covered in blood and everyone that were chasing him down was dismembered. He was put under medical surveillance for a while, but nothing bad was detected. It seemed like the extract didn't leave any everlasting effect. I allowed him to train up his new powers, but it was clear something changed." Sarutobi explained.

"I feel…strong. Like I could do anything." Naruto looked down at his hands. "Like I could finally fight back."

"He never really said what happened to him, or what he had gained from drinking it." Sarutobi went on. "But he made it clear that if they ever attempt any kind of misguided revenge on him, he will retaliate."

"He must have seen the villagers as good target practice for whatever powers he had received from that extract." Shisui realized.

"And you let that happen?" Itachi was incredulous.

"I know." Sarutobi sighed. "I failed Naruto-kun many times and I saw it in his eyes. He doesn't trust me to handle these villagers anymore. All I could do now is do as he wishes and leave him alone and hope for the best."

"You're not going to try something?" Shisui was appalled.

"Do you think I didn't?" Sarutobi shook his head. "I did. But like I said, he stopped trusting me. He never told me anything about his abilities or training at all. The only clues I have about his abilities was that strange incidents were happening, but no data on what he actually did."

"It's better to be feared than to be beaten by others." Naruto had told him, gesturing to the corpse of the former caretaker that abused him when he was still at the orphanage. "I won't have to run from them anymore."

"I don't blame him. Losing his parents, being abused by the villagers, and me stalling to tell him about his real parents…it took a toll on him." Sarutobi went on.

Shisui and Itachi looked at each other.

"You can try to approach him, if you want. But don't expect any results." Sarutobi looked out the window. "I should've done more for him the moment I found out it was happening. I failed Kushina and Minato."

The Uchiha looked at Sarutobi, who looked sad.

He then said, "You two shouldn't worry about him. I'm just holding on to the hope Naruto-kun would come around on his own."

They knew that they were dismissed with that statement.

When the two exited, Shisui spoke to Itachi. "I think when the Hokage put the village over this Naruto boy from the beginning, this resulted. I don't want it to be the same here." Itachi knew Shisui meant that whatever hope the Hokage was chasing was as insubstantial as a wisp of smoke.

After all, Naruto had no family and he most likely do whatever was guiding him. They had the inkling it was the Nine-Tailed Fox, and he simply listened because he had no one else.

"I know, Shisui. But he is hard to track." Itachi pointed.

"Don't forget that he is still a jinchūriki. From what Hokage-sama said, he drank from a strange extract that gave him unknown powers. He might be even more dangerous than the Clan towards the village." Shisui reminded him gently. "Potentially, he would already know about what he could really do. And I'm a great tracker."

"What do you suggest we do? I'll follow your lead." Itachi replied politely.

"I'm going to ask around, see if I can get any information that would allow me to track him down." Shisui answered. "Maybe a place that he frequents."

Meanwhile, Naruto was flipping through his analysis notes from one of his volumes, to the pages with Shisui and Itachi's names on it. Concentrating psychic powers on the notebook, he revealed the information that was on the once blank notebook.

So far, he could not find a true weakness within those two, despite their young age. Both of them showed prowess well-beyond their years. But what he did know was that Shisui relied on his speed and Itachi made use of deception and high intelligence to analyse his opponent's weaknesses.

Combining this with the Sharingan, those two were practically unstoppable. He was also almost sure Shisui might have unlocked his Mangekyō Sharingan, which meant that he had a unique ability pertaining to it. What it was, he didn't know as he or his clones never seen him use it.

With his newfound knowledge from the discarded scrolls he salvaged, it just made him think: Just what did Uchiha Shisui do to achieve that level?

With those factors in mind, he really should be careful. Illusions could be a revealing coverup for those with the Sharingan. Especially if he didn't know if the Sharingan could see through his illusions, or at least become aware of it since he never tested his illusions against the Sharingan.

If only he could use Telekinesis like how he did that night he drank the extract. Unfortunately, that level could apparently be only be achieved without sufficient practice only when in great distress or in danger. He wasn't able to replicate that effect so far consciously.

"Is something wrong?" Kurama questioned.

'Nothing. It's just that…I have a feeling that I didn't evade those two completely.' Naruto replied. 'I felt like I was being watched as I left the scene. It was almost as if one of those two knew I was behind it.'

"Is that why you went for your notes immediately?" Kurama blinked. "You think those two are on to you?"

"Yeah…I'm just afraid they might attack me. I wouldn't stand a chance." Naruto frowned.

"You shouldn't think about it too much." Kurama advised. "I think they might have better things to do than to worry about what one boy could do."

'But it didn't apply to everyone else in the village, does it?' Naruto inwardly grumbled, closing the notebook and shelving it. He might as well make some dinner.

After eating dinner, he wrote in his diary. A diary that he constantly kept to monitor the extract's side effects.

'I'm going to call it a day, and go to sleep.' Naruto decided, putting the diary back on his desk. He refreshed himself and took a dose of sleep syrup. As the tendrils of sleep pulled him down, he wondered if things could ever get better for him.

Naruto looked around him, gasping in surprise. The ground was flat, rough and scorching hot, like lava was just directly beneath. The area around him looked like it had once been a bright field of cheerful flowers before a fire had consumed it or something.

In front of him was a scene of people laughing happily, their environment filled with flowers and sunshine and rich grass. He tried to move, to step back away from the lovely scenery, but found himself glued to the ground. He found that Dokunoroi was on his hand now.

"What's this place?" Naruto looked around.

A mysterious black, faceless and featureless figure had its claws on his shoulder. "It's your state of mind, Naruto." The figure whispered. The figure's voice was familiar, but he couldn't quite place it as to where he heard it before. "The people burnt everything away...isn't this destruction just beautiful?"

"I…" Naruto looked down at his weapon.

"Come on…take their happiness away. You know you want to." The voice encouraged. "You can make this real. Do it."

Naruto looked from his weapon to the people chattering merrily away. He blinked. Did he really want to?

But that felt wrong. They were innocent people…right?

"They never thought about your life being ruined, so why would you think of how it would ruin them now?" The voice replied harshly. "You were innocent too…but look what they did to you. And do you know what else?"

Naruto tried to turn his head, but he couldn't. The clawed hand was at his neck, but not strangling him.

"The only person you can truly trust is yourself." The voice whispered ominously.

"But that's not right! I can't just take everything away from them!" Naruto protested, frowning slightly.

Suddenly, the beautiful and bright scene turned dark, and the people once laughing were dead on the floor. Naruto turned to his weapon and saw it was covered in blood.

"But Naruto…" The voice cooed.

"You already did."

Naruto woke up with a gasp, panting. 'What was that?' Naruto thought. The words the figure had said…it had made him think for a bit. He ran to the desk to go through his previous entries in the diary. He was looking for something that would prove the figure wrong, but the writings there only confirmed their words. He had changed.

He should be bothered by these changes, because the thought that he was a monster would have been true. At most, he was surprised or mildly shocked, but he was never scared or terrified…at least, not anymore.

"What's wrong now?" Kurama yawned.

'I…had a weird dream…' Naruto replied, shrugging. 'It's nothing. Go back to sleep.' As he went back to bed, he wondered what those dreams were, and what they were trying to tell him.

The next morning, Naruto woke up with his alarm and he quickly silenced it. He cleaned his teeth and prepared breakfast, consuming it quickly. After this, he went to the training ground to practice his new dual-wielding stance that he had copied from the library in secret. To make it faster, he had the help of Shadow Clones.

'Hmm…it's pretty difficult to wield the katana with my non-dominant hand.' Naruto noted. 'I should practice mundane things such as writing with my left hand or something.'

"Try using your left hand more for other things too." Kurama advised. "Like throwing your kunai, shuriken. Make sure you hit every target."

"It's almost lunch. Maybe I'll just get some fish from here, practice how to gut them to make them edible." He grimaced at the thought, but still pushed through. By throwing the water upwards while the fish was swimming, he threw the kunai with his left hand, pinning the fish to the tree, and killing them instantly.

He winced as he gutted the fish and took out its parts.

"Squeamish much?" Kurama muttered. "You don't complain when it comes to humans."

"I like animals more than humans?" He offered weakly.

Kurama shorted as Naruto washed off at the river.

Naruto sat on the training ground, making a fire out of flint, cooking the fishes out of it.

While waiting, he had taken out the books he borrowed in the library with his Mind Control and checked out known survival skills. He knew that he had to improve on not just his ninja skills, but his own survival skills.

This was because while the main point of being a ninja is fighting, there was also the journey to consider. There was also food shortage or whatever to factor in. After all, exposure or starvation can kill as easily as a kunai or shuriken could when hit at the right place.

He also created notebooks that had the following information about plants: plants with names, where to gather them, and their medical uses. There were also entries where there were plants for eating. The third category? Plants that are poisonous. It could make a good weapon, like liquifying them and dipping it onto a kunai for more lethality.

Or how about dipping his Dokunoroi, where the shopkeeper said it could absorb poisons for later use in battle? That was another possibility.

'Now I wonder if there are plants that would make antidotes for them?' he thought, munching on the fish. 'Maybe I should sneak into the medical department for them…'

Suddenly he saw two kunai coming at him. Naruto hurriedly got his katanas back to his hands, and sliced them in half. He threw the Yin-Yang Kitetsu at the direction of the offender, which he was sure the person dodged.

Naruto ran and aimed a kick, but Shisui put his arms up, blocking and pushing it away.

Naruto backflipped and hovered in the air, calling his katanas back with telekinesis, staring down his opponent. Naruto didn't care what he came here for; he was sure he was just another person the Hokage sent or something.

'Seriously?' Naruto shook his head, unamused.

No matter. Uchiha Shisui was going down. He flew down at bullet speed and landed a strike on Shisui, only for him to dodge with what he suspected was the Body Flicker Technique. Naruto's illusion faded, and he reappeared from another direction and knocked him back with a well-placed kick.

"Maybe throwing kunai wasn't the best way to get attention." Shisui mumbled, as Naruto proceeded forward, both weapons at the ready. He hastily removed his tantō to block the two katanas. Naruto stepped forward, pushing on Shisui's tantō and keeping their weapons locked together.

"Wait, Naruto, I'm not here to fight!" Shisui tried to talk the boy down.

"The only person you can truly trust is yourself."

He laughed at the notion of them trying to help. When he was being beaten by villagers, no one helped him. Sure, the Third Hokage tried to get him treatment, but what did he actually do to deter them from attacking him?

"You Konoha villagers are all the same!" Naruto glared, sure that he was trying to insult him.

'He's really angry.' Shisui thought, activating his Sharingan. Shisui could tell Naruto was really guarded and knew that this wasn't the first time that something like that must have happened to the kid.

Shisui started to push back, and Naruto broke his katanas free of the lock. He began swinging his katana, who blocked the strikes with his own tantō. Naruto pushed him back with telekinesis, and fired telekinetic blasts at him, only for him to dodge.

Shisui did some hand seals. Naruto saw the Tiger hand seal and knew it was for Fire Release.

Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique

Naruto held out a hand, and the Great Fireball Technique went around him, leaving him unharmed. He blasted it back to Shisui, who sliced it in half with his tanto.

"You think just a few words mean you can change a situation, but it just makes you a liar!" Naruto kicked Shisui hard enough to send him flying, only it was a shadow clone. Naruto blinked as multiple copies of Shisui surrounded him.

Naruto activated his mind-reading to scan which was real and charged towards that direction to send a long-ranged sword slice towards it. However, he sliced through a mirage.

'He was moving between his afterimages?' Naruto realized, as another attack hit him, leaving him blindsided. His was concerned now, as Shisui slammed the blunt end of his tantō on his abdomen to push him over. He used telekinesis to subtly push the blade of the tantō away from his right hand as he stumbled backwards.

'I need to throw him off balance!' Naruto thought, as he was hammered with a barrage of high-speed blows. He concentrated his telekinesis on the ground. The earth began to shake around the two combatants, small chunks of rock floating upwards.

Shisui stumbled backwards from the shockwave, but regained his balance swiftly.

Holding his two katanas horizontally above the shoulder, Naruto performed a circular swing that launched two wind-like air slash that made up half a circle from each hand, blasting Shisui further away from him. Naruto knew that this was the opening to attack him.

However, Shisui was faster, and quickly performed a number of hand seals.

Lightning Release: Thunderbolt

Naruto had no choice but to spin the blades to deflect the lightning bolts coming for him. He rushed forward with teleportation when the attack ended, hitting Shisui's right hand with the blunt end of his Yin-Yang Kitetsu, then slashed his left hand with the blade. He then spun around and tried to slash across his abdomen and legs, only to be blocked.

Shisui performed a kick, knocking him in the air. He quickly righted himself. He flipped the Yin-Yang Kitetsu like it was a dagger and tossed it toward Shisui while firing another telekinetic blast. Shisui dodged the blast, and hit the Yin-Yang Kitetsu away with his tantō.

The Dokunoroi then flew towards Shisui as well, and he hit it away. But this was just a distraction, as Naruto flew down and tackled Shisui. The two turned each other in mid-air, fighting to be the one on top.

Upon their landing, smoke filled the battlefield and Naruto had Shisui in his chokehold. Shisui was barely managing to hold Naruto's Dokunoroi away from his neck, which he had called back with telekinesis.

"Nice one, Naruto." Shisui praised, clearly impressed. Naruto said nothing. He blinked as he saw an image of Itachi coming down on them in his mind, and forcing him to let go of Shisui by attacking his arms.

Sure enough, Itachi came coming down, and Naruto let go of Shisui, jumping back.

"He knew." Itachi stated in a matter-of-fact tone. "He knew I was coming."

"Heh…I think he's no mere kid." Shisui had a small smirk.

Naruto stepped forward and angrily glared at them, calling back and pointing his Yin-Yang Kitetsu towards them.

Itachi sighed in sympathy. "Naruto-kun, I suggest you back down. We don't wish to hurt you."

Naruto was incensed. "You don't know anything about me."

A small purple breeze picked up, blowing in the two's direction. Naruto sent an air current-like attack barrelling forward, forcing the two to dodge. He used the branches that came off and sent it at them, only for them to deflect with their fire jutsus.

Naruto blinked and saw the area empty, but then he detected Shisui flickering into view for a moment, and quickly blocked a sword coming from Itachi, and kicked Shisui who almost sliced him with his tanto. He dodged an oncoming punch and forced Itachi back with an invisible blast. He extended two hands, and they looked up in surprise to see a multitude of giant trees floating in the air around them.

Using his telekinesis, Naruto ripped out chunks of trees, and directed one of them to knock them off their feet, and slammed a tree trunk back to pain them on the floor. He brought the rest of the uprooted trees into a pile on top of them.

The two were almost crushed, but got out with Shisui's Wind Release: Great Breakthrough. Naruto blasted the one coming for him into smithereens. However, Shisui was already in his face and punched him, sending him flying down the training grounds. Naruto righted himself in mid-air with help of his Flight, and landed on his feet.

Naruto was outraged now. He pointed his swords in front of him in an X formation. He forcefully held both of them down with telekinesis. The purplish-pink with a little bit of blue chakra extended to both his katanas, and propelled himself forward, Dokunoroi out in a thrust.

"Listen!" Shisui activated his Mangekyō, causing him to stumble at the sight. The telekinesis hold he had on them was also dropped. The sight of the Mangekyō caused Naruto to stare at it with slight fear.

"I can easily make you back down with Kotoamatsukami. So quit wasting your time fighting us and hear what we have to say." Shisui warned.

Naruto weighted his options. From what Shisui said, it was likely Kotoamatsukami was a mind control kind of thing. He was ready to wager that if it was as powerful as Shisui, it's likely the victim wouldn't even know that they were being controlled.

This meant that he was going to lose anyway. He betted that Shisui and even Itachi was holding back during the battle, not wanting to hurt him any more than they should. That meant had the battle went on, he would have been defeated eventually.

But how could he trust them? He looked down at his hands. He could always use that.

Naruto then stepped forward, extending a hand to Shisui and Itachi.

"Let me touch one of you, then." Naruto stated.

"What?" They blinked.

"Hurry up. Either come forward, or I'm gone." Naruto's tone was cold.

Itachi walked forward. Naruto touched his shoulder. A purple aura-like energy emitted from Naruto's hands.

"Did you come under the orders of the Hokage?" Naruto questioned.

"I didn't. We did it of our own accord." Itachi answered. Naruto looked into the memories that came up subconsciously. He realized that it was true.

"Why did you come looking for me?" Naruto asked again.

"We felt that it wasn't fair for you to get this treatment." Itachi admitted. "Shisui wanted to get your attention, but I said not to do it too close…and he thought to throw kunai to do so."

"Oops…" Shisui knew that he should have thought it through. "Sorry about that. I just wanted to see how you're doing."

"And would you leak anything that I tell you, should I trust you?" Naruto demanded.

Itachi shook his head. "No, we won't. I don't have any intention of leaking any secrets, for they are yours. Neither does Shisui."

Naruto blinked in surprise, as he read the memories Itachi had subconsciously thought of when answering. "You're telling the truth…"

He then turned to Shisui, looking at him incredulously. "But how does throwing the kunai at me answer the question of my well-being?"

"Well, I now know that you have great reflexes." Shisui said cheerfully. "And you have some skills."

Naruto let go of Itachi's shoulder.

"What did you just do?" Shisui was curious, pointing to the shoulder Naruto's hand vacated.

"I can "read" the conscious thoughts of any person I am in physical contact with and can extract memories by asking specific questions. Trying to fool me by creating irrelevant conscious thoughts or false information is impossible since I can extract the target's purest memories." Naruto waved dismissively.

"Handy ability." Shisui nodded approvingly. "How did you do it?"

Naruto debated on what to say, before saying, "It's a secret."

Shisui, folded his arms and peered down at him with interest. Naruto's hands twitched towards his weapons, just itching to slice at him. However, he knew if he did that, he would have been subdued. "And why is it a secret?"

Naruto suspected they already knew he drank the extract, and it was part of it. Nevertheless, he still didn't really like to spill anything to people he just met and fought.

"Because it is." Naruto replied with finality.

Shisui nodded, smirk playing on his lips and Naruto narrowed his eyes in a harsh glare. The teen leaned forward, forcing the blonde to step backwards.

"Can I be a part of the secret?" Shisui grinned.

Naruto gave him a withering look, using two fingers to push Shisui's head back. "No." Just because they wouldn't spill didn't mean he was going to just hand over his information.

Shisui pouted. "Darn…then can I be part of it tomorrow?"

Itachi whacked Shisui on the head. "Please excuse Shisui. He's an idiot."

"Look, just say what you came here for." He really had no time to deal with the comedy duo.

The younger raven nodded, "We wanted to see if you would like to join us in training."

Naruto didn't say anything. Not that he knew what he would say to begin with but…were they being serious? Even if he asked to use his ability again, this seemed a bit too-farfetched.

After all, they were…what? Jōnin level at least? And him? He was…not even in the Academy yet. Them seeing if he wanted to train with him was…pointless. Not to mention off-putting.

"…No."

Shisui showed his surprise but Itachi only frowned, "Why not?"

"Number one, I don't like you. Then again, I don't like everyone. Secondly, you're both weird. And lastly, I am doing fine on my own." Naruto pointed out.

"Hey! You don't even know us so how can you tell that you won't like us? We're awesome!" Shisui grinned. "Also, I am not weird!"

"Naruto-kun, can you truly say you are immune to illusions, to genjutsu?" Itachi chimed in.

Naruto blinked. How did he even know that? He then said the first thing that came to mind. "And…you're a stalker."

Shisui was now laughing hysterically. Itachi mostly just blinked in confusion, "I promise, we are not stalkers. We won't tell anyone." They call it gathering information. After all, they got this from a conversation with Teuchi, whom Naruto talked a bit about the mechanics of his powers.

Naruto got to the same conclusion, and knew those two are stalkers after all!

Naruto crossed his arms, "Really."

The eldest nodded, "Alright, maybe what you said was true. You amuse us! We wanted to get to know you better, actually. We can even train! I'm sure we have some pointers that you could find useful with your powers."

"I see." Naruto rolled his eyes. As if they want to know him better. "What's the catch?" Even though they were sincere in his offer, he was wary of what Shisui wanted in exchange.

"I heard you talk about wishing to build up immunity to powerful illusions so let's start there. I am going to come at you with everything I've got and I'll see if I can help you improve your immunity. Oh, for the price? Don't worry, there's no catch, I promise." Shisui gave a sly smile, as he activated his Mangekyō Sharingan.

"We'll focus on your illusion resistance today. Shisui will be using a genjutsu to break your mind. We are going to see how well you resist." Itachi added.

Naruto looked into his eyes, and found himself in an inverted grey scale world with a red moon in a red sky. Shisui stood in front of him and said, "Now, show me how you can get out. The longer you are in here, the worse your mental state would be."

"Empty your mind, Naruto." Kurama advised. "The key to developing immunity to genjutsu and other psychic powers is to empty yourself of emotion. People who cannot control their emotions, who wallow in memories and allow themselves to be provoked easily would stand no chance."

Naruto took a deep breath as he heard villagers surrounding him and starting to chant things such as "Die, demon brat.", "You're not welcome here!", "Don't associate with that boy." He was immobilized with fear, as he lashed out with telekinesis and tore one villager apart, but he simply reformed and continued insults.

Shisui watched with narrowed eyes.

"Calm down. It's not real." Kurama said soothingly, as Naruto took deep breaths, clutching to his heart. Naruto willed himself to stop shaking, and narrowed his eyes.

"If you keep seeing me as a demon, then fine. I will be one." Naruto said angrily to the villagers, as he endured them throwing things at him. No, he cannot get angry. He must not be scared. He must face this head-on.

He was alerted an abnormality, and all of a sudden, everything turned back to normal. The villagers were gone, and he was on his hands and knees, panting.

"Are you alright?" Shisui asked, helping him up.

"I'm fine." Naruto replied, wiping a sweat off the brow.

"Not many people can resist the trauma that overtakes them in the illusion. They would end up immobilized with fear and end up unconscious." Shisui admitted, grinning. "Not bad, kid."

"Again." Naruto said, getting up.

"Are you sure?" Shisui was surprised.

Naruto nodded and faced Shisui, who used it again on Naruto.

Naruto found himself in a barren area with fire and dead flowers, and wondered why it looked so familiar. Until it hit him, and he paled.

'Uh oh…' Naruto thought as he saw the happy paradise in front of him go wrong and the mysterious figure creeping up on him.

Shisui was puzzled at this, as Naruto tried to close off his mind again to break out of the genjutsu. He heard the figure say, "Come on…take their happiness away. You know you want to."

Suddenly, everyone was dead in pools of blood, and Naruto's katana was bloody. Naruto's eyes were eerily blank as he stared at the dead bodies.

"Shisui, undo your genjutsu!" Itachi yelled. He saw the sky turn red and the floors cracking. Heat suddenly emitted from the floor, making Itachi grit his teeth.

Shisui undid the genjutsu and realized that whatever he saw in the genjutsu…it was reflected in the real world. Naruto snapped out of it, and everything turned back to normal. Vestiges of smoke were indications that the heat was real.

"What was that?" Shisui was confused once Naruto was back in reality. He seemed to realize something when he saw the wisps of smoke and the ground being hotter than usual.

At the question, Naruto went completely silent. He certainly didn't want to talk about it.

Naruto held his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. He let out a heavy sigh. "Thanks a lot for your help, but this ends here. I am pretty sure Sandaime have told you the gist of what happened. But nobody is going to understand what really happened to me, not even you."

Shisui was gaping and they looked at each other. Itachi's eyes were slightly widened.

Naruto threw a smoke bomb and teleported away, back to his own home. He didn't even have the mood to train anymore. Oh well. He could always make more notes. He had plenty of information from his earlier fight anyway.

After updating his notes, he wrote another entry in his diary, and fell asleep. His mind was peacefully blank in his dreams. Until it wasn't.

He stood in a desolate wasteland of cracked, broken earth. Between the cracks, he could see purple fire lighting up the cracks. Dead, barren trees with bare branches reaching towards him like hands. Dark pink tornadoes in the distance sweep up everything, and was coming towards him like a countdown to the end of his life.

The sky was pink, but cracked with white lightning. Naruto stood between it all, horrified eyes taking in the disaster and seeing none of it. But he could feel it.

Naruto tried to run, but the branches got hold of him. The figure said, "You either make this real to others, or suffer on your own, Naruto."

The entire air seemed to vibrate with malevolence, fuelled by his hurt and fear. The trees started bleeding, splashing him with blood. They seemed to be pulling him towards an unknown horror, concealed in the shadows.

Naruto tried to scream, to shout, but his mouth was covered by a branch. If only he could summon his weapon!

Suddenly, his Yin-Yang Kitetsu was to his side. Naruto tried to reach for it, but was inches away from being able to take it. He cared not about the branches crushing his wrists, almost going to snap it.

'Come…on…do this!' Naruto commanded himself, right hand outstretched.

A warm hand took his hand as if to save him, and–

Naruto opened his eyes, finding himself back in his room, hand outstretched. He blinked, as his hand was taken by another hand, which wasn't his own…

He stared at the two figures who were watching him before screaming, and accidentally teleporting them somewhere.

How did those two even know where he lived?

As soon as that question entered his head, Naruto realized he had the answer. The Police Force was under the Uchiha Clan. They should have records on every civilian and shinobi in the village…and then some.

And they say they weren't stalkers. Naruto didn't believe that one bit.

'Ah…I don't even know where I sent them. Do you think…' Naruto started, addressing the fox in his mind.

"Don't worry, they'll find their way back." Kurama replied.

'And who even breaks into people's houses at this hour?' Naruto grumbled.

"Like you said, they are weird." Kurama shrugged.

Maybe he should ask the Hokage for a restraining order or something.

"No, you won't ask for that restraining order. You prefer solving things on your own. Sides, they did try to comfort you by taking your hand." Kurama interrupted.

The blonde groaned, slumping onto his bed. 'I hate that you're right.'

"Nightmare again?" Kurama questioned.

'Just a weird dream.' Naruto answered. 'Nothing new, though. Should I get those two back?'

"Knowing them? I think they'll be back when you get back from getting the ingredients for breakfast." Kurama muttered. "That wasn't the last you would see of those two."

As Naruto went back to sleep, he wondered if he could really replicate the dream he had into reality. That would be a great way to combat opponents.

Sure enough, Kurama was right.

After all, in Naruto's notes, Shisui would never give up on something once he set his mind to it. He was almost sure it's Shisui's idea to break into his apartment to monitor his sleep and Itachi just went along with it. Probably because Shisui was older, and supposedly wiser.

Well, maybe when it comes to a ninja, Shisui was a genius. But as a person…not so much.

"What are you doing in my apartment…again?" Naruto wasn't very pleased.

Shisui looked up from the notebooks he was raiding. There was a beat of silence before he flipped another notebook page. Itachi looked curious at what he had in the notebook. Neither looked ashamed or embarrassed at being caught.

"Well, it's the only way we can reach you." Shisui chirped, looking back down at the notebook. 'Why are they all blank?'

"By watching me sleep?" Naruto scowled.

"We do watch our clients sleep in missions." Itachi admitted. "And my little brother when he wants company."

'You should know those are different things!' Naruto yelled in his head. For two of the smartest Uchihas, they don't exactly have the best social cues. Then again, neither did he, but at least he knew how creepy watching others sleep would be.

He could guess what they wanted, however.

"If it's about what happened, I don't really want to talk about it. Let's just say that it was a weird dream I had." said Naruto, shaking his head. He used telekinesis to snatch his notebook from Shisui.

Both were surprised by this. They had to know more. Not forcing him to, but just because it seemed to make Naruto look a little disturbed.

"Why is that, Naruto? What happened?" Itachi questioned with concern in his voice.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Naruto replied, waving dismissively.

"Come on, Naruto. You can tell us what happened." Shisui pressed. "We promise we won't think any different of you or laugh at you. Right, Itachi?"

Itachi nodded.

Naruto still wasn't sure, even as he sensed no deception from either of them. He subconsciously reached out to Kurama for guidance. He shrugged to Naruto, as if to tell him it's up to him to tell them or not. He looked up and took a deep breath.

"Ok, er…Uchiha-san-" began Naruto, but was cut off.

"Shisui is fine." Shisui interrupted. "And you can call him Itachi."

"Shisui, then." Naruto resisted the urge to sigh. "What did the Hokage tell you about the night one year ago?"

"He said that you drank the extract, and had some powers. You never told him what happened specifically." Itachi shrugged.

"Drinking the extract…they give you powers, but they also change you." Naruto admitted faintly.

"Change you?" Itachi raised his brow.

"Do you remember how I was like before?" Naruto questioned.

"You wear orange, you like to play pranks, you never felt any ill will towards any of the villagers, you love to proclaim you'd be Hokage…" Shisui ticked it off.

"Well, the moment I drank the entire extract, I felt emotionally numb. Like the villagers that died meant nothing." Naruto looked down at his fingers. "My chakra's colour also changed to purplish-pink. Over time, the blue was getting less and less visible."

"Were there any other changes?" Shisui was curious.

"I felt that I could do what I wanted back to them, and I would love to see their faces when they get a taste of their own medicine. At first, I think I was afraid of this line of thought, but I probably slowly became unafraid." Naruto shrugged.

'In other words, it changed his mindset.' Itachi thought.

He also mentioned the recurring dreams, one of them being what Shisui saw in the genjutsu he cats on him. "I wanted to think that the figure was wrong, but it was right. The weird part was I don't feel scared over that revelation, like I might have a year ago."

'Most likely when he drank the extract, it gave him something, but also took something in the process.' Shisui deduced. 'What defined him to the rest of us. His sunny personality was slowly corrupted.'

"But then again, what's the point of dwelling how it changed me? They saw me as a monster anyway, so I might as well become one." Naruto smiled serenely, having a blank look.

He felt a warm embrace and saw Shisui giving him a hug.

"Everyone needs a hug." Shisui explained. "We believe you, Naruto. I think you are not a monster. It's just that you were dealt a bad hand."

"I'll be fine, Shisui." Naruto waved him off with a hand. "You and Itachi should worry about your clan more. I mean, they are your fellow members and they are…family." He said the last word with very slight longing.

Both of them gave a sad smile. Thy already knew Naruto's parents were dead and because he lived alone, he likely raised himself. It definitely didn't help that the villagers ostracized and outright beat him in a perceived sense of revenge.

'Don't worry, from now on, you have us.' Shisui thought. However, he said, "I think it's safe to say you're not getting the fairest treatment. I can't really blame you for what you did."

"They don't have the right to–" Naruto started, but was cut off.

"But hurting them isn't going to make your life any better." Itachi persuaded.

"They leave me alone after that." Naruto shrugged. "I saw nothing wrong."

"You're right. But did it make you happy?" Shisui questioned.

Naruto looked down, glaring at his own feet. "If I get what I need, then I think it's alright. I mean, I have to avoid being overcharged or being refused service somehow. And I do have to sustain."

"If we offer our help, would you stop?" Itachi asked quietly.

"I don't need your pity money." Naruto's fingers tightened his grip on the notebook he snatched from Shisui. "Besides, you're both part of the most prestigious clan in the village. You are literally tarnishing your name, and your clans by helping me…or even talking to me here."

"I think as a shinobi, we can do whatever we want, and talk to whoever we want." Shisui shot back. "I'm sure we have more than enough resources to spare."

It was tempting. But the urge to make the rest of the ignorant civilians to suffer was still there.

"I know you have the desire to show them what you can do. But you can find another way to do so." Itachi persuaded.

"A single talk isn't going to magically change me." Naruto clutched to his notebook.

"We know it'll take time. What's more important is that you're willing to try." Shisui replied softly. "We promise, no deception, no secrets. What do you say?" He held out a hand.

Naruto looked down at the offered hand. He couldn't detect any lies in Shisui's voice or body language. Neither could be sense any from Itachi. It also meant that he could collect more information on them anyway, even if it's for his personal study.

He sighed. "Fine," and took the proffered hand.

Itachi nodded looking pleased. Shisui bounced in excitement, happy for the turn of events.

"As much as I hate Uchihas, I can almost understand. You could do worse than those two." Kurama commented, as Shisui happily threw Naruto over his shoulder and Shunshined him…into the river as payback for teleporting them away.

"Where did I teleport you guys to again?" Naruto wondered, using telekinesis to grab a bunch of water and soak both of them. The good thing about telekinesis was you can grab any element or energy and just throw it at the person.

"…On top of the Hokage when he was sleeping." Itachi deadpanned, clearly torn between wanting to be impressed or unhappy at Naruto.

'I don't even know where the Hokage slept…' Naruto sweatdropped. He thought his teleportation was limited to the areas he had been before, which was why he walked around a lot.

He should study up on Space-Time Ninjutsu that can get a person to another person in an instant.

For the next six months, both Shisui and Itachi would train Naruto the whenever they were off-duty. When they were not there, Naruto took the time to study the sword styles he could find in the library.

The pair had clearly taken a liking to the boy, as they even joined him on having meals or brought him meals at times.

They also helped him try and figure out his powers with the library, although they almost go nowhere due to lack of clues of what it actually was. They had no idea the extent of these powers, or if there were any previous users.

The closest they could think of was the Yamanaka Clan's mind-based jutsus, but it didn't explain the other things Naruto could do, such as telekinesis or casting powerful illusions to the scale of Sharingan users or Kurama Clan members.

Naruto shelved this little info away for later. Maybe he could consult Yamanaka Inoichi for an insight to what the extract did to his mind…once he had time anyway. It wasn't that important…right?

Shisui and Itachi had also taught him to refine aspects of his psychic powers such as illusion casting. In addition to genjutsus, Naruto could even apply physical illusions that can be seen by everyone to himself or make a target hallucinate.

Shisui even helped him master the art of manipulating a victim's mind and his Mind Control was to the point the victim wouldn't even know it had been cast on them, similar to his Kotoamatsukami.

They had Naruto test it on themselves to see if he could affect them without alerting them, as they were skilled Sharingan users and could detect any abnormality on their minds in an instant. Occasionally, they let him test it on some villagers with heavy supervision.

Naruto had grown close with the two over the past six months. So much so that Naruto had begun to call him Shisui-nii and Itachi-nii at times. Shisui had a wide grin and hugged him when he first heard the term, albeit in a sarcastic tone. He felt good to be looked up as a big brother by someone and demanded he call him that from now on.

Itachi's reaction was more subdued, but even he had a small smile on his face. Probably thinking about his own little brother, Sasuke. Much to Naruto's chagrin, however, Shisui began calling him Naru-chan.

The dreams themselves also became less prominent. Occasionally it was still there, but Naruto had learnt to ignore them. He also felt somewhat peaceful. He didn't know why, but somehow, he felt that as long as the villagers left him alone, he'll leave them alone. Maybe it was Shisui and Itachi's influence on him?

However, Naruto still faithfully wrote in his diary, although he may have nothing new to report on his changes. That was because Naruto wouldn't bank on the hope that this was over and he could return back to normal.

And over, it was not.

Recently, Naruto had a foreboding feeling that something was wrong. He couldn't shave off the feeling that something big was going to happen. Whether or not this feeling had something to do with his powers, he didn't know. All he knew that he had to figure out what was wrong, or else he might lose something.

However, this time he did not say anything to them as he sensed both Shisui and Itachi were already worried about something. The first sign was they had been exchanging some meaningful looks when they think he wasn't looking.

The second sign was that the Uchiha Clan seemed at a state of unrest. The other Uchiha members themselves seemed to be in a panic over something. It was definitely a clan issue, so Naruto pretended that it was not his business.

That cheered them up slightly, but what they did not know was Naruto was lying about not prying even further. Naruto himself had been practicing lying in the mirror and in front of Kurama because people being able to tell you're lying was quite detrimental to one's future career as a ninja.

Kurama had told him he was getting better. Well, that part was obvious. Because otherwise, Shisui and Itachi would have called him out immediately, being extremely smart.

By observing the pair in secret, Naruto could tell they had some sort of plan for whatever issues they had. If he was going to make a guess, it was likely something to do with Shisui's Kotoamatsukami. After all, he did hear something about having one shot at this.

How would he find out if he was actually right, though?

The answer came in the form of a psychic ability he developed in secret, that was inspired by the Yamanaka Clan's Mind Body Switch Technique. Except his body's consciousness don't actually leave his body.

It was more akin to placing himself into the other's shoes, quite literally, as long as he knew the person's chakra signature beforehand. It was like going through a void, and then coming out and seeing through the eyes of the person.

"Careful, kit. It's only your second try. The first try tired you out after a few minutes." Kurama warned.

"I will. Just watch my body in my stead." Naruto closed his eyes, and tracked Shisui's chakra signature, finding him in the Hokage's Tower.

He went through a void, and found himself looking from Shisui's point of view.

'Let's see what is really going on.' Naruto thought.

Shisui bowed in front of the Hokage, Danzo and the village elders, relaying his report about his clan. He mentioned that he feared that the coup d'état was nearing as the clan was completing its preparations.

True to Naruto's guess, Shisui had a solution that he had prepared after discussing with Itachi, even though it would brand him as a traitor to his own kin. However, it was better than the only other possible alternative to deal with this problem.

"As it stands, the coup d'état is still in motion." Shisui had told them.

"I see…" Sarutobi's face had anxiety on it.

Danzo turned towards his rival. "Hiruzen, what's your plan now? If we remain still for any longer, they are going to carry it out."

Sarutobi let out a long-suffering sigh, making Danzo internally frown in annoyance. He just knew his rival did not have the spine to make the hard but just decision. "Look, as the village's leader, it is necessary to do whatever it takes to ensure the village's safety, even if it is hard for you.

"Please. Hear me out for a second." Shisui pleaded, urgency in his tone. He was more than aware of the what this unspoken hard decision was. That decision was the last thing he wanted.

While Shisui was loyal to the village, it didn't mean he would just stand there and watch as drastic measures were taken. After all, they never even thought of the possibly of other options yet. "If I may, I think there is an alternative plan I'd like to try if you'll let me."

"A plan…" Sarutobi wondered if it was the same thing Shisui had mentioned off-handedly some time ago.

Danzo rolled his eyes. "Forget it. You're wasting time. There are no other options!" He cut in. He didn't want the Uchiha to threaten Konoha any longer.

"What is this plan Shisui-kun?" Sarutobi glared at Danzo, to tell him to keep quiet for a bit. However, he was merely asking to confirm if the plan was something he had mentioned off-handedly.

"I will use Kotoamatsukami on my clan." Shisui replied with conviction. As soon as he said that, the village elders gasped and looked at each other with consternation. That included Danzo. However, in Danzo's case, he already knew thanks to his spy but did so for appearances' sake.

"Do you know what you're suggesting here?" Sarutobi questioned. "You'll forever be branded with the sin of using that technique against your own clan, your own people." In fact, who knew what they'd do if they ever found out it was him.

Shisui looked at the ground. "I know." He looked up, eyes burning with conviction. "But I suggest this for the sake of the village and to protect what I hold dear. Please consider it, Hokage-sama."

Sarutobi frowned, as he thought about the suggestion. Everything he had tried so far without any violence in mind had failed. Right now, he was hesitating to resort to the unspoken drastic measure. While this plan was a way out of this predicament, it may mean sacrificing Shisui's standing in his clan. But Shisui was clearly prepared for this.

"If you believe in this, do it. I will not stop you." Sarutobi stated, sighing once more. "I want to believe in you to, Shisui-kun."

Shisui blinked, clearly not expecting Sarutobi to give in this easily. After all, things were escalating. Even if it was under wraps, he was sure even Naruto would be aware although he never interacted with anyone much. "Thank you."

"But let me make one thing clear," Sarutobi warned. "you are allowed to back down and cancel the plan should you change your mind. Remember, there is still some time to think up of alternative routes. Do you understand, Shisui-kun?"

He could tell, even as the words left his mouth, that he was wrong. After all, based on Shisui and Itachi's previous reports, the problem was reaching a peak.

Shisui nodded in acknowledgement. "I will."

Danzo looked at Hiruzen, then at Shisui. While he respected Shisui's desire to do what it took for the sake of the village, he loathed the pacifistic nature his old rival always had. He had thought his methods were too soft. He knew that Sarutobi would rather play politics and sacrifice the safety and future of the village at risk rather than make the hard, decisive decision necessary to outright eliminate the threat for good.

Danzo perceived a problem in the plan that no one else did. After all, what if that technique wore off? What then? It would only result in the problem being delayed rather than solved. With this in mind, he could not let this plan go through. It would only result in the problem being delayed rather than solved.

Danzo knew what he had to do. He needed to stop Shisui from going through with the plan and kill him to cover his tracks. What's more, he wanted…no, needed his eyes for the amazing power it held. However, he was not confident in taking Shisui on at his full strength.

It didn't matter. He had ROOT. Danzo needed them to help him to create an opportunity to take Shisui's eyes for himself.

The dark emotions from that Danzo guy was overwhelming enough for Naruto to have to undo his Clairvoyance.

Naruto opened his eyes, panting. He was somewhat mentally drained from holding the clairvoyance throughout the meeting. However, it didn't matter. He got the information he needed. Now he knew what Itachi and Shisui was worried about.

He was very sure that the Danzo guy had a sinister plan of his own, as he had sensed his greed, right before dispelling the technique.

The greed he sensed…it was so intense. He could tell that it was also directed at Shisui.

He knew that while Shisui had a solid plan, the reason it would fail was because of Danzo. He most likely would derail it out of his own selfishness and paranoia.

Naruto didn't like the sound of that. That was enough by itself for him to try and stop this from happening.

Naruto had not much information on this Danzo guy, enough to take him on. But what was it that Danzo was after? From the meeting, he seemed to be someone who would acquire power by any means necessary, in the belief that it was for the good of the village.

He settled back against a tree, closing his eyes. Did he covet some power that belonged to Shisui or something? Nevertheless, the only power that he had was that Kotoamatsukami that was unique to his Mangekyō Sharingan…

His eyes flew open. Shisui's eyes! Danzo was planning to take his eyes to use Kotoamatsukami! His right eye was bandaged, so could it have hidden a dōjutsu that he shouldn't be having? Or maybe he's hiding something in his right arm, it was bandaged.

If he was really planning to add Shisui's power to his own collection, he had to do something. The only thing on his mind now was how to prevent Danzo from getting what he wanted.

It wasn't going to be easy. He had not much information on this Danzo guy, enough to take him on. Naruto contemplated at Danzo being after Shisui himself. Since the target was Shisui, if only he could change the targets in Danzo's one-track mind, then it would be fine…

Wait, that's it! He could subtly prod Danzo to go after him instead, for his psychic powers or something. He could prepare for the ambush by filling his Dokunoroi with poison beforehand and equipping himself.

With that thought, he took a Military Rations Pill and teleported to the Hokage Tower to look for a certain war hawk to execute the first step.

"Kit, it's dangerous!" Kurama warned. "You're up against someone much more experienced and chances are that coward won't ambush alone!"

"I know." Naruto used the same tone Shisui did when he said that during the meeting.

"You don't know if that incident would happen again if you fall unconscious!" Kurama reminded him.

"I'm banking on that." Naruto smiled strangely as he found Danzo walking out of the Hokage's Office. Now that he was close to the man himself, he could sense his dark and cold feelings. It was clear that while Danzo thought of the village, he was willing to go behind the Hokage's back for his own agenda.

He hid as his eyes glowed purple for a split second, indicating he was subtly using Mind Control.

Danzo meanwhile blinked in confusion. He paused at the inward plan to take Shisui's eyes, 'remembering' Naruto himself could do the same with his unknown powers. Maybe it was too much for that kid to handle. He'll be more than happy to harness that power.

'Perhaps I don't need the Kotoamatsukami. That brat's psychic powers would suit nicely.' He thought. Now, he should hunt down that boy.

BP: I've been doing a lot of cleaning up for this story. I hope this rewritten chapter is better than the original.

I've been writing new things lately. Ideas just flow in my head and I just had to get it down on paper. Before I forget…
