Strange
Itachi had never had any real interest in women beyond the cursory every teenager went through at some point. His early teenage years had been filled with too much stress for him to worry about girls, so puberty had pretty much passed by him, unnoticed.
So, when at twenty-five, he found himself totally and utterly captivated by a pink-haired menace, it more than just threw him for a loop, it left him flabbergasted. The Uchiha Clan had no shortage of exquisitely beautiful, powerful women, but none of them had ever garnered more than a slightly curious look from him. But Sasuke“s teammate fascinated him.
She was completely different from any woman he'd ever met before. Everything about her was strange, exotic, alluring. She was small and lithe, long-limbed, despite not being very tall, all toned muscles and graceful curves. Unlike most Uchiha woman, her chest was small, but her hips wide and feminine. Her pastel pink hair and apple green eyes were such an unusual and arresting combination, that she'd immediately caught his attention.
Oh, he'd seen her before, often in fact, surrounded by his brother and Naruto-kun, or some other friend or acquaintance, but never from close up. She was always too far away to see her features clearly. Her big eyes, small nose, soft mouth and that wider than strictly necessary forehead with the little blue diamond on it. Her beauty was uncommon, unconventional, untraditional, and as such more likely to attract Itachi's attention than anything else.
Her personality matched her looks. There was nothing meek or quiet or submissive in that woman. She was as loud and as fearless as the Hokage, as she proceeded to not beat Naruto-kun but also his brother into bloody pulps.
Watching her, Itachi realized that he liked strong women.
Satisfied that she'd beaten her teammates beyond recognition, she turned around and spotted him by the open sliding door, not that he'd attempted to hide, too fascinated by her to move, actually. She stopped for a second, before her pretty features settled into a scowl.
"Can I help you?" she asked brittlely, like she wasn't currently a guest in his house, but the other way around. He couldn't help but find that attractive as well.
"Mother wanted me to ask Sasuke if you'd like some refreshments," he replied calmly, eyes leaving hers to settle on the twitching forms on the ground. "I will tell her that they are undisposed at the moment," he finished when his eyes finally found hers again.
The scowl melted away and one corner of that soft mouth twitched upwards. "You do that," she said with a decisive nod and brushed past him to enter the house. When he turned, she paused and looked over her shoulder at him. "Tell Mikoto-san thank you, and I'll see her next week." With that she walked away and Itachi spared one more look at his brother before he went to find his mother.
What a strange, strange woman.
AN: Just a silly little drabble, because I felt like it. Still, I appreciate all opinions.
