A phone rang inside one of the biggest but secretive organisations in the whole world. They were the ones who cleaned up after the doctor and protected the world when it came to it. UNIT.
Someone finally answered the phone after what seemed like hours for Mycroft.
"Yes?" A woman answered on UNIT's side.
When the woman found out who it was, she raced to find the head of UNIT Kate Stewart. She was the one who needed to speak to this person on the end of the phone.
"Ma'am?" The woman asked standing at the door of Kate's office.
"What is it?" Kate asked not looking up from her work.
"Mycroft Holmes on line one. Seems urgent."
Kate didn't have to second guess the woman and picked up the phone. She sighed out before talking and then answered the phone.
"Mycroft?" She said.
"Hello Kate." Mycroft's voice answered.

The Doctor and Sherlock re-entered the TARDIS with big smiles on their faces but a determined look. Graham was there to meet them when they entered. He had the smuggest face Sherlock had ever seen and his brother was Mycroft!
"Had a good time?" Graham asked.
"Yes. It was good to get some air." The Doctor said walking back to the console.
"Discussed everything." Sherlock backed her.
"Good." Graham said nodding and walking off to tell the others about the couple.
Sherlock and the Doctor were left alone at the console. Sherlock sighed and shook his head as he heard Graham talking. He was used to hearing people talking behind his back but the doctor's companions were a little different.
"Sorry about them." The Doctor said.
"It's fine." Sherlock shrugged off.
"We'd better get you back."
"Watson is probably missing me, yes." Sherlock crossed his arms.
The Doctor could see concern stretching across Sherlock's face. It was clear to her that Sherlock was concerned about the case.
"We'll find Lestrade." The Doctor condoled him.
Sherlock nodded in agreement but there was still something obviously bothering him. The Doctor couldn't put her finger on it however, so she just let it lie and didn't bother him about it.
"Right back to Baker Street then." The Doctor put her hands together.

Watson was still standing by the window. He was getting worried now. Sherlock should be back by now, he had never stayed out this long. What were they doing?
"Still no sign?" Mrs Hudson asked from the kitchen.
"Not yet." Watson answered quietly.
Mrs Hudson nodded and then went back to the kitchen. She left Watson alone to watch out for Sherlock.
Before anything else could happen, the familiar wiring sounded outside the window. Watson went straight up to the window and peered out. There it was, the blue box waiting for him. Watson smiled and then rushed out to meet them.
"Watson." Sherlock nodded as he came out of the box.
"You've been a while." Watson said grumpily.
"Wanted some coffee." Sherlock shrugged.
The Doctor then came out with a smile on her face. Watson hadn't gotten used to the Doctor yet so wasn't as pleased to see her. Watson just gave a nod in her direction.
"Anything from your friend?" The Doctor asked Watson.
"Nope." Watson shook his head.
The Doctor looked at Sherlock as this reaction sort of shocked her. Sherlock sighed and rolled his eyes at Watson's reaction.
"Watson…" Sherlock started.
"No. You go and have fun with your new friends! Just don't rely on me to wait for you anymore." Watson said storming back into the apartment.
"Watson!" Sherlock shouted after him.
Watson had already gone though. Sherlock turned back to the Doctor. She was looking everywhere apart from Sherlock. It was obvious Sherlock would have to sort this out on his own.
"I'll see you guys later." Sherlock nodded.
"Yeah." The Doctor said going back to the TARDIS.
"Doctor."
"Yes Sherlock."
"Thanks for the coffee."
"No problem."
The Doctor then got into the TARDIS and left Sherlock to deal with Watson on his own. Sherlock raced up the stairs to catch up with Watson.

The Doctor leant over the console, rubbing her forehead. Graham joined her by the console. The Doctor shook whatever she was feeling off and moved away from Graham.
"What's the matter?" Graham asked her.
"Nothing. We need to get back to finding this person." The Doctor said ignoring him.
"Where's Sherlock?"
"He's got other things to do. He said he will join us later."
Whatever the Doctor did Graham kept moving towards her even if she was on the other side of the console. This was making the Doctor more and more impatient.
"Could you not?!" The Doctor finally snapped.
Graham stepped back in shock from this. The Doctor moved away from the console and sat down on one of the seats surrounding the console.
"I'm sorry Graham." The Doctor tried to make up with her friend.
"It's fine. We've all had days like today." Graham nodded in acknowledgement of the apology.
"Not me."
"What all of those regenerations you've never had a day like today?!" Graham smirked.
The Doctor shrugged. Maybe Graham was right, maybe she had had days like today that didn't mean she liked days like today. The TARDIS continued to travel around London trying to find Lestrade.

Sherlock had finally reached the top of the stairs. He went up to the apartment and found Mrs Hudson waiting for him. She didn't look pleased to see Sherlock at all! Sherlock straightened his back ready for a yelling match with either Mrs Hudson or Watson.
"Where have you been?!" Mrs Hudson said in a very stern tone.
"I just went out with the Doctor." Sherlock replied, shrugging.
"Do you know how long John was waiting for you?!"
"I know he waited…."
"No you don't Sherlock. You don't."
Sherlock decided to stay quiet for the rest of the conversation. It wasn't a good idea to argue with Mrs Hudson and Sherlock knew this all too well. To his surprise however, Mrs Hudson walked off from the conversation and into the kitchen leaving Sherlock gobsmacked.
Watson then returned with a cup of coffee. He didn't look at Sherlock once. He just sat down on the sofa and opened a paper obviously wanting an apology from Sherlock.
"John…" Sherlock asked standing at the top of the stairs.
There came no reply. Watson didn't even move an inch.
"I didn't mean to spend that long with the Doctor but you didn't have to wait for me." Sherlock chuckled.
Watson bit his tongue. He wanted to say something but also wanted to keep this tough guy act up.
"So after all of this I apologise." Sherlock shrugged.
Watson was surprised that Sherlock gave in this easy. He turned to face his friend.
"You what?" Watson asked again.
"I apologise." Sherlock said again.
Watson nodded and allowed Sherlock to sit down. Sherlock sat down with happiness that he was allowed to sit down with his friend again. Even though he knew Mrs Hudson would probably shout at him later.
