The Ninja stood there frozen. None of them quite believing their eyes. But there he was, living, breathing, in the flesh, the Master of Wind, Morro...

Nya and Kai both positioned themselves in front of Lloyd. Nya summoning her water, Kai his fire. The other ninja moved to grab their weapons, aside from Lloyd who was just trying to keep his heart from pounding out of his ribs.

"That won't be necessary," Wu stated, gesturing for his students to lower their weapons, or summoned elements.

"Uh, Sensei, no offense but, uh, he's Morro,." Cole stated emphasising the Master of Wind's name.

"Yeah, and I know he helped us during the Day of the Departed, but he still possessed Lloyd!" Jay protested, "And tried to kill all of us and uh, what else am I missing, oh right, he tRIED TO CURSE NINJAGO!" the blue ninja shouted accusingly at the former ghost.

Morro flinched at those words, "And I know all of that was wrong, I know it doesn't help much, especially in Lloyd's case, but I'm sorry. I was being stupid and selfish, and I was blinded by greed. If I could take it back I would," Morro met Lloyd's eyes, "Especially the possession."

"I can not detect any evidence of lying," Zane interjected.

"He can lie pretty good, and Harumi fooled you," Lloyd hissed, not looking at Morro.

"This is true, but I was not continuously looking for her to be lying either," Zane pointed out.

"I hate to interrupt, but who's Harumi?" Morro asked.

"I'm honestly surprised you two didn't meet, having so much in common and all," Nya glared, Morro bowing his head to avoid her fiery rage, she may have been the Master of Water, but the sea can produce a fire mightier rage than a flame.

"Enough!" Wu snapped.

"Yes, Sensei," all of his students responded.

"Perhaps instead of attacking Morro we should attempt to learn something from him," Wu stated, gently pulling his former pupil to the monastery, "Many of your previous foes have left for the Departed Realm, if someone is bringing them back, it may be best we know who. But first, tea, I doubt you've drank anything," the older man said, leading Morro inside the monastery.

"No, not really, Sensei," Morro answered, glancing regretfully back at Lloyd, clearly wanting to say something else.

"You can go to your room if you want," Nya suggested, she, and the other Ninja, knew full well the effects seeing Morro again had on Lloyd. His screams from nightmares from after he had been freed of Morro's possession and after the incident with Yang when they'd seen Morro again still scared them all.

"TIl be fine," Lloyd stated, "Plus he's human now, what's he gonna do?" he shrugged, starting to walk to the monastery's entrance.

"There are quite a few he could still do. He is a highly trained Elemental Master as well as fighter, Zane stated.

Cole set a hand on the titanium ninja's shoulder, "That was a rhetorical question, buddy."

"Oh, that makes sense."

"You wanna go to your room now that's probably running through your head?" Kai asked.

"Definitely not, i'll just be worried about you guys, or him coming after me while I'm alone again," Lloyd said, leading them back into the monastery.

"Ya wanna have a little sleepover like we did?" Nya suggested, rubbing his back.

"I'm probably getting too old for that.." the Green Ninja chuckled humorlessly. "Actually, given the advancements your mental health took after we started sleeping together following or preceding a nightmare argues otherwise. If sleeping with people who make you feel safe helps you, you shouldn't compromise that based on the factor of age. Plus, your roughly four or five years younger than you present, which by my records indicates, no, you are are not too old for a sleepover," Zane smiled.

"Can't argue with a Nindroid!" Cole smiled, opening the door for the others "So are we watching old cartoons or StarFare?"

"StarFare!" Jay voted immediately, walking in.

"He was asking Lloyd, Jay," Kai scolded, hitting the Blue Ninja on the back of the head. Lloyd chuckled lightly at his friends' antics as they made their way to the kitchen.

"Hey," Nya whispered, "Everything's going to be alright. We won't let anything happen to you," she promised, side hugging him, "You're our Green Bean after all"

"I hate that nickname!" Lloyd half glared, walking into the kitchen "And we have yet to thank Misako for it!" Nya laughed.

"What? Green Bean?" Kai smirked. Lloyd playfully glared up at him, "I hate you."

"Aw, why do you hate me Green Bean, it's not like I called you short!" Kair protested, pouting as the youngest member of the team struggled to reach the tea leaves. Lloyd stopped what he was doing to glare, once again, at Kai.

"So what are we playing at Kai's funeral?" Jay asked. "Yes, pointing out Lloyd's height in ratio to ours is a poor choice of action," Zane stated, grabbing the tea leaves from above Lloyd easily.

"Hey, I don't say he was short! I just said I called him Green Bean, not short!" Kai defended himself.

"The implication was still there," Zane stated, setting the leaves by the teapot Cole had filled, and was bringing to a boil. The Black Ninja nodding in agreement, "I gotta agree with Tin Can."

"I didn't mean that he was short!" Kai protested, "If anyone's short it's Jay!"

"Hey!" the Blue Ninja protested, "I'm not that short!"

"You are below average height," Zane pointed out. "Yeah, I'm taller than you..." Nya agreed.

"I have been betrayed! By my own girlfriend!" Jay whined, over exaggerating his pouting face. Nya laughed, kissing his nose, "I meant it as a compliment, it makes you cuter."

"Ew!" Kai wrinkled his nose. Zane rolled his eyes as he added the tea leaves to the pot. "Oh please! Don't act like you and Skylor have kissed!" Nya snapped at him, wrapping her arms around Jay.

"But you're my little sister!"

"So? We've been dating for years!"

"This is quite childish," Zane stated to Cole and Lloyd.

"Yeah... but good luck getting them to stop," Cole sighed.

Cole and Lloyd stood there watching their friends bickering, as Zane tended to the tea. Ending the meaningless argument by sending the three off to collect a serving tray, tea cups, and a pot holder.

The oldest member of the team took the items and set them up on the serving tray before the group headed to the living room where Morro and Wu waited.

Lloyd hung to the back of the group, taking slow breaths, focusing on keeping his heart at a slow steady pace. Nya and Kai hung back with him, standing on either side of their brother, offering silent support for the Green Ninja.

That didn't do much to stop the panic that rose in Lloyd's chest when his eyes fell on Morro sitting in their living room, in a home he always thought he'd be safe in.

Nya nudged Lloyd to the far side of the room, she and Kai standing away from the former ghost. The siblings sizing up the older male on the couch. Morro shifted uncomfortably under their gaze as Wu poured him a cup of tea.

"So how are you..." Cole started, gesturing to Morro's body, "alive?"

"I'm not sure.. I don't remember much. One minute I was in the Realm of the Departed, minding my own business, then I'm walking down some old trail in the middle of the woods, alive, in the pouring rain, just wanting to come here," Morro answered. The Ninja shared a look with one another.

"You really don't remember anything else?" Kai glared.

"No." Morro shook his head, lifting his tea, "Not about how I could have got here." The Ninja looked at Zane.

"He hasn't lied," the Nindroid stated.

"Yet," Kai glared.

"Kai," Wu warned, Morro trying not to down all of his tea at once.

"What! He possessed Lloyd! Can you blame us for not trusting him?" Kai protested.

Morro flinched at those words, "And I regret that more than I could put into words."

"Yeah, and that's not helping." Lloyd said, "You've been in my head, but I've also been in yours. I know how easily you can lie, and I know you can do it good! So give me one reason to believe you!"

"First, you know there's always some truth when I lie, which I swear on my life I'm not," Morro stated meeting Lloyd's gaze, the younger going story so he wouldn't finch, "and l'm trying to change. I would have tried to kill you like all of the other villain's during the Day of the Departed if I wasn't."

"I think we may have bigger problems then pointing fingers out of distrust," Wu said.

"It's not like I don't have a reason!" Lloyd snapped back, the rest of the team glanced nervously between themselves.

"And while I agree with that, the fact remains that there is someone, bring back the dead!" Wu stated, standing up to face his nephew, "Not only that but they are bringing back you're former foes! We should be thankful it was Morro who arrived first and not one of the others!" Lloyd laughed humorlessly, "Yeah, cause my mental health state means nothing! You remember what happened the last time he showed up!" he snapped, storming out of the room.

Morro looked down at the floor, he couldn't blame Lloyd, or Wu, or anyone but himself for this. He had chosen to do what he had. So he had to live with that guilt, and hopefully do whatever he could to make it right with Lloyd. If only he knew how deep those wounds were, maybe he would have realized how impossible his task was.

But then again, Ninja never quit.

(I do this in my books so I'm going to do this here too!) Have a lovely day / night!
