A/N- Im back bitches. For how long? Who knows, I don't. Its currently thanksgiving break and Im in my last year of Chemical Engineering so shit is rough. I got an email noty about some new favorites for this dinosaur here and read some very nice PMs that motivated to push this out here. Sorry its so short but I felt this chapters theme was completed. As always keep pestering me to add more chapters and I'll probably end up writing more. If you like the story and this chapter, please write a review. Even if you think this chapter is doggshit please review! I always like hearing what you guys have to say about this story and my writing.

Percy woke up in a bed. It was cheap and thin but being the first time he could remember laying in a bed, it was incredibly soft. Despite his mind lamenting him, he forced himself to focus and clear his mind. The first thing he noticed was that he was alone. The next thing was that there were rows of empty beds next to his. The walls were made from a thick canvass. He was in a long, rectangular tent. He was wearing a gown with no pockets. He made a mental note that no pockets = no magical pen-sword that returns to him. Worried he lost his only weapon for good, Percy looked for anything that could be used incase he was in a hostile environment. One the bed stand there was a cup of water made of fired clay. He quickly downed the water and the left-over grogginess disappeared. He then took the sheet off his pillow, placed the cup inside the sheet and placed it on the ground. He covered it with the pillow and stumped on it. The pillow masked the sound of the cup shattering. He quickly unwrapped the bundle and took a long-jagged piece of the pottery. Using the makeshift blade, he caught a strip of cloth from the sheets and wrapped it around the blade to make a handle. He put the pillow case back on the pillow and hid the rest of the shattered pieces inside it. It was than that Percy noticed the bandages wrapped around his head. So he was in an infirmary. Since he received medical treatment and he wasn't restrained upon waking up, it didn't seem hostile. However, even prisoners of war received medical treatment. Afterall, its hard to gain information from a dead man. Percy removed the bandage and verified that he was not injured. He had no shoes but that made it easier to walk silently, lowering his center of gravity and being careful to evenly distribute his weight with each step, he approached the only entrance to the tent. He waited for the wind to blow the flaps open just enough to make out two armed guards standing outside. They had on bronze chest plates, hard leather chaps, and helmets with blue plumes sticking out. Percy packed off from the entrance, going to the back corner of the tent. He caught open a small slit and peered out to the rear of the tent.

It was high noon outside. He saw a back ally bordered with other tents made of the same canvass material. He began sawing a slit in the corner big enough for him to crawl out from. He crossed the dirt path and ducked between two identical tents from the one he woke up in. He made another slit in the tent to his left. It was also full of empty beds. The tent on the right also contained beds but this time he saw others with bandages laying in them with attendants seeing to them. He made his way to the front of the tent and didn't see any guards stationed at the entrances. Percy slipped into the empty tent. After rummaging around a little bit, Percy found extra gowns and the white uniform with a red cross on the left breast, the same outfit the attendants wear wearing. He quickly changed clothes and put on the white hat that came with it. These clothes had pockets but sadly his pen did not appear in one of them. He finally let his presence be known and boldly strode out into the street. Just then, someone walked out of the occupied tent wearing the same uniform but with a stethoscope around his neck.

"Hey you, do you have a minute?" The man called out to him. "The staff are all busy in here, could you come with me to check up on the new comer"

Percy, not wanting to draw negative attention to himself, agreed. He followed the man behind the tents to the other row. Panicking upon seeing the man address the guards and walk in to his original tent, Percy began to sweat. He followed him in and when the doctor saw the empty bed, he dropped his clipboard and called for the guards. One of them ran away and left. The other started answering the questions the doctor had.

"Did you see anyone leave this tent?"

"No, sir. He was in here when we changed shifts an hour ago."

"Well he couldn't have gotten far with a head injury like that. Search the other tents and the surrounding area."

"Yes, sir." The guard ran off, shouting to put a search party together.

The doctor turned to Percy and said, "Search the tent incase he's hiding in here."

"Yes, sir." Percy replied. They started at the entrance and went opposite ways around the tent, searching the cupboards that Percy forgot to even look in, but thankful he didn't waste anytime doing so. Most of them contained bandages and other medical supplies but unlike the other tent, none had extra gowns or uniforms. As they got halfway around the tent, the flap opened and a woman with intricate gun-metal gray armor with silver trimming and a golden plume waltz in followed by the other guard that took off right awat. The doctor snapped to attention and Percy copied his motion a heartbeat after him.

"Lieutenant Derose, where is your patient?" Demanded the scary woman.

"Praetor Reyna, the patient has appeared to have left the confines sometime within the hour. A guard is currently organizing a search party of the surrounding area."

"Can't your medical company do anything right? You told me that restrains were unnecessary because his injuries were too great for him to even move for the next three days and here he is missing after only a couple of hours?!"

"No excuses, ma'am."

"Tch." Reyna responded as she went to look at Percy's bed. "Where's his water cuo?"

"Excuse me, ma'am?"

Ignoring Derose, Reyna strolled to the back of the tent. Just than a breeze blow open the slit Percy had caught.

"Tell the search party that our new friend should be considered armed and danger…ous" Reyna trailed off, noticing Percy for the first time.

"And who might you be." She demanded.

"Oh, ahh, I'm…" Percy managed to stammer out before Reyna strode on over and ripped off his hat concealing his hair. Faster than Percy could react, Reyna grabbed his arm, twisted it behind his back and forced him to the ground. "Call off the search party, our troublemaker is right here."

A/N- Sooo this little bit focused on Percy's first time being inside New Rome. This is on my take on what a Hunter/WoldPack trained Percy would do if he happened to wake up in a strange place. I know its short, only 1k word count, but I feel that this chapters self contained story is complete. The next chapter will focus on Percy's integration into the legion and training. I already have some ideas as to what will happen in New Rome during the labyrinth arc that the greeks will currently be going through. Would anyone want a POV of the greeks during this time? How Jason is doing over there and how they'll conquar the labyrinth? I have a few ideas for whats going on over there but I dont necessarly want to write about Jason because I want to focus on Percy, but if you guys think it'll add to the overall story I'm way more than willing to do so. Let me know in the comments or PM me! I do read everything... eventually. Also 44k views? Thats insane. When I look at the traffic for this story and theres still hundreds of people viewing it each month I can't believe something I made is liked by so many people. You guys are insane. Much Love - struggling ChemE student who might end up wanting to be a writer.
