Sherlock suddenly got up with a start. Mrs Hudson looked back at him with concern. She then entered the room to check what was going on. Sherlock sat back down rubbing his forehead with his hands.

"Something wrong?" Mrs Hudson asked.

"I don't know. Suddenly something just hit me." Sherlock sighed.

Mrs Hudson sat down next to the worried detective. Normally Sherlock would insist that she had more important work to do but it seemed different this time.

"Blimey something is definitely wrong." Mrs Hudson said worried.

"I know. I just don't think I have energy anymore." Sherlock said.

"It was that Kate Stewart. She shouldn't have come round here. You're not well Sherlock Holmes." Mrs Hudson grabbed a blanket and put it around him.

Sherlock accepted the blanket. The only time he had accepted a blanket was on an old case he and Watson were on and had been shot at.

"I'll call John to see where he is." Mrs Hudson got up.

"He's with the doctor."

"So…"

"You won't be able to call him. The doctor seems to have no signal."

"I'm sure there's some way of reaching them."

"Good luck trying." Sherlock laid down.

Mrs Hudson tutted as she went back to the kitchen to try and get some hold of John. Sherlock was sure however, she would be back in a few minutes with no answer. He didn't want to tell Mrs Hudson why John really couldn't get reception but if it came to it maybe he would have to.

But it was getting late. Watson said he wasn't going to be long. However, Sherlock knew not to worry about his friend. He would come back soon.

Watson stirred. He had a splitting headache and what seemed to be a twisted ankle where he somehow had fallen over because of the light. It took some time to get used to his surroundings and where exactly he was.

"John?" A familiar voice called somewhat like it was coming from behind glass.

Watson turned. He saw the Doctor sitting next to him. Yas, Ryan and Graham were nowhere to be seen.

"Where are we?" John muttered.

"I don't know but wherever we are it's not good." The Doctor looked around.

"Where are the others?" Watson asked, sitting up slowly.

"They were gone before I woke up."

"They can't have gone far."

Watson tried to stand but fell back down with a crash. He looked up and noticed his hand was in a chain. There was no way of moving about. The Doctor had a ball and chain tied to her leg so she couldn't move either.

"Obviously someone wants to keep us here." Watson sighed.

"You get that impression do you?!"

"No need to be sarcy!"

"Sorry. Just how are we going to get out of this one?"

Just then as the Doctor finished her sentence, Watson's phone quietly went off. Watson struggled to pick it up but finally did answer it with the help of the Doctor.

"Hello." Watson said quietly so they weren't disturbed.

"John, it's Martha." Mrs Hudson's voice answered.

"Mrs Hudson?"

"Yes. Where are you?"

"I think we've been kidnapped."

Watson then heard a sigh from the other side of the phone. The Doctor looked over. She also looked concerned and she was in the same situation.

"What are you going to do?" Mrs Hudson finally answered.

Watson looked at the Doctor for some sort of answer. She hadn't got one so she just turned away from him.

"I don't know but we'll find our way out of here." Watson reassured her.

"I hope so. Also Sherlock is worried about you." Mrs Hudson sounded worried about the both of him.

"Tell him…"

A creepy but somewhat familiar laugh came from behind them. Watson knew to put the phone soon as possible.

"I've got to go. Bye." Watson ended the call.

"John's been kidnapped." Mrs. Hudson said quietly.

Sherlock could soon hear her. He sighed and closed his eyes.

"Where is he?" Sherlock asked.

"He didn't say. Sherlock you've got to help him." Mrs Hudson pleaded.

"I'm off the case. I can't do anything."

"Then you're leaving John to die?"

"What? No." Sherlock turned around to face her.

Mrs Hudson shook her head and went back to her quarters of the apartment. Sherlock sighed heavily as he looked out the window again. Yes he was off the case but he must be able to do something to help his friends. He then picked up his mobile to punch in a number to gain help.

"Hello?" Someone on the other side asked.

"Can I speak to Mycroft Holmes please?" Sherlock said with a straight face.

Sherlock heard buttons being pressed on the other side of the phone. As per usual he had to wait quite a long time before he finally got through to his brother.

"Mycroft Holmes." Mycroft's voice finally answered after what seemed like an hour.

"It's your brother." Sherlock started.

"What do you want Sherlock?" Mycroft sighed.

"Watson has been kidnapped. I need to go and find him."

"You're off the case."

"You can put me back on it. Please."

Mycroft took some time to take this in. Sherlock hoped he would change his mind.

"I can't Sherlock. My hands are tied." Mycroft answered, seeming quite flustered.

"But you're in charge of everything…. Who would be in charge of you?!" Sherlock flustered.

"I can't speak now. I'll call you later." Mycroft put the phone down on Sherlock.

Sherlock stared at his phone when the call ended. This made no sense! Mycroft answered to no one. Well apart from government officials he never talked about.

"What did Mycroft say?" Mrs Hudson finally asked.

"I can't do anything. He's going to call me back later though." Sherlock tapped his phone in his hands.

Mrs Hudson then went silent. Sherlock looked back at her. He wanted to do everything he could to save Watson but if he was going to get the end of the stick if he did.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Mycroft tapped his phone in his hands. Yes he didn't get along with Sherlock but Watson was a friend. He couldn't leave him to rot even if it meant putting other people in danger.

"Mallory?" Mycroft called out into the corridor.

"Yes Mr Holmes?" His assistant's voice called back.

"Get Kate Stewart on the phone."

"Yes sir."

Kate always seemed to have an idea. Mycroft had ideas of his own but in this situation maybe two heads were better than two. Kate also knew a lot about aliens and if they were behind this maybe it would be nice to know more about them.
