Mallory, Mycroft's assistant, was trying her best to get Kate Stewart on the phone. She didn't know how many times she had been put on hold but it must have been about a thousand times by now! Mycroft would not be happy. She finally got through to talking to someone.

"Hello Kate Stewart's office?" The other voice asked.

"Can I talk to Miss Stewart please?" Mallory asked hopefully.

"I'm afraid she's gone out. Can I leave a message?"

Mallory's heart sank. What sort of message would she leave?!

"Just say to call Mycroft Holmes when she gets back." Mallory sighed as she put the phone down.

Mycroft was pacing around his office waiting for Mallory to put Kate through. He looked up finally when Mallory opened the door. She shook her head and got ready to get a snappy answer back.

"Alright, have you left a message?" Mycroft rolled his eyes.

"Yes. She'll call back." Mallory nodded as she closed the door behind her.

Mycroft looked down at his phone on the table. He was running out of people to talk to about this situation. Sherlock couldn't be told anymore until he knew Watson was alright again. Mycroft then picked his phone up again and typed in a number.

Sherlock looked out of the window trying to think of some way to get to Watson and the others before time ran out. Mrs Hudson had said wait for the emergency services to do something but he had spat back saying that they weren't any help. If they had been Lestrade would have been found already.

Suddenly Sherlock's phone rang again. Before he could get to it however, Mrs Hudson answered it. She put her hand out to stop him from getting to it.

"Hello." Mrs Hudson answered in her posh tone.

"Mrs Hudson put Sherlock on the phone would you?" Kate's voice asked.

Mrs Hudson handed Sherlock the phone with a look of disgust. Sherlock didn't make a remark even though in his head there were several different things he wanted to say.

"Sherlock here."

"Sherlock it's Kate. I think we've found something." Kate didn't even finish her sentence before Sherlock got his coat and was out the door.

"Sherlock Holmes get back here!" Mrs Hudson called but Sherlock was already gone.

Kate looked around at her team. Most of them didn't know why they had been tasked to find five missing people but did what Kate said so they didn't get in trouble with someone in charge. Apparently they had found something that might link somehow to the missing people.

"Ma'am what are we waiting for?" One of the soldiers asked.

"Someone's coming to help us so just be patient." Kate responded almost like an order.

The soldier rolled his eyes as he went back to work. Kate rolled her eyes back but kept her composure. Before any of the other soldiers could say anything, another car pulled up which Kate soon recognised and it wasn't the person she was expecting.

"Attention." One of the soldiers said as the Prime Minister got out of the car.

Kate was very surprised to see the PM. As was the PM to see Kate on a missing persons case. He walked over to her.

"Kate what are you doing out here?" He smiled.

"We have a case sir." Kate answered, still in awe.

"I know that. Found anything?" The PM asked looking around at the others gathered.

"We believe so sir." Kate answered for them.

"Good. Keep me informed." The PM nodded heading back to the car.

"Sir?" Kate asked before he could go.

"My friend Mycroft Holmes wants me to keep tabs on the mission. Apparently he doesn't want to get involved." The PM shrugged as he got in the car.

Kate smirked as the car pulled away. Of course Mycroft needed to know where she was! It was just an excuse to use his power over people. Kate ordered the soldiers back to work as they started to chuckle under their breaths.

Watson and the Doctor were still keeping quiet. The person who the laugh had come from had still not appeared but both were kind of glad they hadn't. Luckily Ryan, Graham and Yas soon turned up with their hands tied.

"You guys okay?" Watson asked quietly.

"As good as can be." Graham moaned as he sat down.

"Anyone know how we got here?" Yas asked.

"No. All I remember is the green light and then nothing else." Ryan answered by rubbing his shoulders as it was getting colder.

"There must be something to get us out of here." Graham looked around.

"We haven't found anything yet." The Doctor hushed her companions.

Then a crash came from in front of them. All of them jumped as the crash seemed to be quite close to them. Yas snuggled into Graham with Ryan also quite close. There wasn't anything else after the crash so all of them gave a sigh of relief.

"We've got to get out of here." Graham sighed looking around.

A cry came from behind them. Watson was the first to get up from the ground. After all of the years of being with Sherlock, it had told him to check out any situations however bad.

"Hello?" Watson called out.

The cries continued. Watson and the Doctor looked at each other. The Doctor got up from the ground as Watson was stuck. The Doctor went around the corner to see who it was. She found a woman lying beside a man that wasn't moving whatsoever.

"Here." The Doctor offered a hand. The woman took it and followed the Doctor back to the main group.

"Come and sit down." Watson said with the woman snuggling up to the group.

Watson looked up at the Doctor. He knew there must have been someone else as the Doctor shook her head. Watson let the woman join his group of people.

"What's your name then?" Graham asked, trying to keep everyone's spirits up.

"Rachel Lake." The woman shivered.

Watson soon recognised the name. She had been the first name that was in the paper saying as missing. Watson had no idea how many names had been on the paper since hers but there obviously going to be more.

"Oh what a happy little group." A creepy voice came from above them.

The whole group looked up as lights were shined down on them. None of them recognised the voice or the face peering over them but knew it wasn't anything good for them.

"What do you want with us?" Graham asked first.

"Come with us." One of the people leant out a hand.

The group looked at each other. The Doctor took the hand with the others standing. Watson was unshackled and was led away with the group. At least he could feel his hands again.

"Where are they taking us?" Yas whispered.

"Who knows. Just keep shut if they ask you any questions." Rachel said.

The others nodded as they kept walking. They hated not knowing anything but if they wanted to keep their lives it might be a good idea not to.

Sherlock finally turned up where Kate was. Kate felt like she had been waiting the whole day. She rolled her eyes as Sherlock came to greet her.

"Nice to see you too." Sherlock smiled.

"Everyone else has gone home. I was expecting you hours ago." Kate moaned.

"It hasn't been that long!" Sherlock sighed.

"Certainly feels like it!" Kate shuddered.

"What have you found then?" Sherlock urged her.

Kate smirked as she went over to a piece of the scene covered in a sheet. Sherlock had seen many of these at crime scenes before but this one seemed different. With Watson and the Doctor involved he was a lot more worried about anything they found. Kate brought up the sheet and bent down with Sherlock following.

"Recognise this?" Kate pointed.

Sherlock nearly gasped and stood back up again. Kate bagged the evidence and patted Sherlock on the back. Sherlock stepped away from her. This was going to be a lot harder than he thought.

"So it's from someone you know then." Kate put her hands in her pockets as the night drew in.

"It's Lestrade's." Sherlock muttered.

"The officer who's missing?"

"That's the one. He must have been here." Sherlock continued to mutter.

"We'll find them. I can promise that." Kate started back to the car.

"Yes but when is the question." Sherlock rubbed his forehead.

"Something wrong?" Kate looked back concerned.

Sherlock stumbled as Kate walked back to join Sherlock. Before Sherlock could answer Kate's question he fell to the ground. Kate only just managed to catch Sherlock's head before it hit the floor. Kate sighed as she got her phone out.

"Mallory. Put Mycroft on would you." Kate said into the phone.
