Hi guys. So this is the last chapter of the story. I hoped you enjoyed it and please review if you have anything to say about any of the chapters. Hope to see you guys again soon on another Doctor Who or Sherlock story. For now peace out. X
Watson slowly opened his eyes. It was very quiet and quite peaceful. His eyes opened a little more. His bruises weren't as bad as they used to be which meant he had to be in hospital.
"Watson?" Sherlock asked.
He looked over to his right even if it did hurt a bit. Sherlock was sitting next to him in the bed in the hospital room. Sherlock looked a bit battered but obviously didn't need as much attention as Watson did.
"You look awful." Watson blinked.
"You can't say much! How are you feeling?" Sherlock asked, a bit worried.
"Probably as bad as I look. What happened? Is everyone else okay?" Watson asked, mostly thinking about Lestrade.
"We found everyone. Moriaty has got away but we've got everyone. Most had a few cuts and bruises. The Doctor, Yaz, Ryan and Graham included." Sherlock comforted his friend.
"Good. Sounds like I'm the worse off then." Watson rolled his eyes.
"Yeah Lestrade was mostly just tired. Looks like he had just kept awake all day." Sherlock said.
"Where's Kate?"
"She went back to UNIT. She said we'd meet with her soon."
"The doctor is gone?"
"Not yet. She's hanging around. Making sure every cyberman is deactivated and then she'll be gone."
"Looking forward to that?"
"Maybe. It'll be like it used to be I guess." Sherlock patted Watson's hand.
"I hope so. It'll be nice to have a normal case for once." Watson smirked.
"Without aliens you mean?"
"Yeah. How long have I been out?"
"Not long. A few hours." Sherlock said, somewhat distracted.
"There's something else you're not telling me." Watson asked concerned.
Sherlock took a deep breath in. He really didn't want to tell Watson this. I mean it probably wouldn't affect him too much. It had hit him pretty hard when he had been told.
"Sherlock? Come on what is it?" Watson kept asking.
"It's Mycroft. He fell off the roof after fighting with Moriaty." Sherlock told Watson.
Watson opened his mouth wide. He couldn't believe what he was hearing! All he wanted to know was if Mycroft was still around.
"How is he? Is he okay?" Watson demanded from Sherlock.
"He's in a coma. The doctors don't know when he's going to wake up. I'm going to see him later." Sherlock told.
"Oh Sherlock." Watson tried to hold Sherlock's hand but Sherlock quickly withdrew it from the bed.
Before the two could discuss the issue further. The doctor appeared at the door. She could see that Sherlock had told Watson about Mycroft. She hated to interrupt conversations like this but it looked like they needed something else to talk about.
"Hey doc." Watson said looking over to her.
"You're looking a lot better." The doctor entered.
"Apparently not according to Sherlock." Watson said sarcastically.
"I'm going to check on my brother. Make sure he's okay." Sherlock told the doctor.
"I don't need nursing!" Watson called after Sherlock.
Sherlock turned back and smiled. Watson rolled his eyes and let the doctor sit down next to him where Sherlock had been.
"All of the cybermen are shut down which I'm very glad about." The doctor told Watson.
"You're not the only one. You sure they're gone?" Watson made sure.
"Kate's double checking but I think so."
"Right. What adventure are they always like this?" Watson raised an eyebrow.
"Most of them. What are you going to do about Moriaty?"
"He's got away before. We'll find him again."
The doctor smiled and then got a message. She sighed as she read it.
"Bad news?"
"I've got to go. Sorry to interrupt our conversation." The doctor apologised.
"No it's alright. Go." Watson told her.
The doctor said her goodbyes and then left. Watson felt like this was a bad thing and a good thing. It was a bad thing that he didn't have anyone to talk to now but it was a good thing to have some rest. He closed his eyes making sure there weren't any secret aliens around before finally drifting off.

Sherlock stood at the door of Mycroft's room. There was his brother, asleep but had a tube coming out of his mouth which didn't make it any better. Sherlock had put off coming to see Mycroft as he hated hospitals but coming to see Watson had made him come.
He sat down at the bedside and watched Mycroft's chest slowly go up and down. It kind of settled him a bit to see this but he was still on edge.
"Sherlock?" The doctor said from the door of the room.
Sherlock looked up and smiled as he saw one of his oldest friends. He could tell she needed to go. He stood up from the seat, patted Mycroft on the shoulder and walked out with the doctor.
Once they got outside they saw the familiar blue of the TARDIS. Sherlock and the doctor stopped in front of it. Everyone moving around could only see a passageway. It was always good to have a cloaking device but since this was broken, the doctor had to fit it in tight spaces.
"So this is it then?" Sherlock asked.
"For now I'm afraid so. I'm sure it won't be too long before we see each other again." The doctor punched Sherlock in the arm.
"Be careful. Don't get too wrapped in aliens." Sherlock jokes.
"I won't. When's Watson getting out?"
"This afternoon. He'll be on bed rest for a few days but i'm sure he won't mind."
The doctor chuckled awkwardly. She didn't want to leave but the galaxy needed her elsewhere.
"I'm going to miss you." Sherlock admitted.
"Me too. I mean I'm going to miss you too." The doctor mumbled.
"Doc we gotta go." Graham called from inside.
Sherlock and the doctor chuckled.
"Sounds like you're needed." Sherlock pointed.
The doctor didn't say anything. She just kissed Sherlock on the cheek and got back into the TARDIS. Sherlock heard the familiar leaving noise and soon it was gone. He made his way back to the hospital to check on Mycroft and Watson.

5 months later
Sherlock was staring at the wall. Watson was reading the paper which had entailed their latest case. It hadn't been very interesting, just a lost cat. True anything would be less interesting than dealing with aliens with the doctor!
"How's the last case shaping up?" Sherlock asked.
"Boring. Just like it was to solve." Watson sighed.
Sherlock tutted. Since the doctor had left, it was like she had taken all of the interesting things with her. A knock then came at the door, both Sherlock and Watson looked up from their work. Mrs Hudson then went to answer it and heard a very happy gasp from her.
"What on earth?!" Sherlock muttered.
As soon as he said this, someone came running up the stairs. He put a smile on his face as soon as he saw the two friends.
"Lestrade!" Watson met the inspector with a hug.
The inspector was nearly bowled over by the hug that Watson had given him. They both chuckled as it was so good to see each other again. Sherlock stayed back. He was happy to see Lestrade up and it again but didn't like showing public affection so just smiled.
"It's good to see you. How long have you been back?" Watson ended the hug.
"Just started today so you can imagine the paperwork. Sherlock." Lestrade nodded.
"Inspector." Sherlock smiled as he and Watson sat down.
"So what did you want to tell us?" Watson welcomed the floor.
"Well we've had a report of something blue flying around Germany so we know where your friend has gone Sherlock." Lestrade raised an eyebrow.
Sherlock blushed. It was good to hear that the doctor still liked to check in from time to time. Even if it was in the wrong country!
"Also we have a new case to solve and I wondered if you'd like to get involved." Lestrade shrugged.
Sherlock and Watson looked at each other. This was going to be their biggest case since dealing with the doctor. Maybe it would be nice to have a new case to solve. They smiled.
"We'll need to know what it's about first." Sherlock made a serious face.
"We've got some missing bank accounts. Also we have a few murders. It'll keep us busy." Lestrade opened his notepad.
Sherlock and Watson thought about this for a while. It would keep them busy for a while. Maybe it was a good thing to do.
"Where do we start?"
