Chapter 7
A/N: Hey everyone, welcome back! Good to see everyone again! I hope y'all are enjoying the rewritten chapters so far, I know that I'm enjoying rewriting it and definitely like fleshing out a few things some more. Though I will admit some parts of this chapter might be choppier than I'd like. It really wanted to fight me during the writing process. Anyways, I don't own TFP or YJ.

Telepathy
"Bee talking."
Unknown Location, July 7, 15:32PDT
"Maybe this was a bad idea!" Robin exclaimed as they leapt behind a boulder as blaster fire reigned down around them.
"You think?!" Emerald snapped. Popping out from behind the rock she managed to hit one of the 'Cons with a blast from her ring. "But then again, we wouldn't be in this situation if my cousin wasn't such an idiot."
"True."
Any other comments they had were silenced as the sound of an engine began to become clear through the sound of gunfire. The teens froze, glancing to each other, before quickly turning around to face the source. Fortunately, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief as they spotted a familiar green truck sped towards them.
Dust flew into the air as Bulkhead came to a stop, the passenger and back doors closest to them swinging open. "Get in!"
Like they all needed an invitation.
Scrambling inside the vehicle, the teens barely made it inside before the Autobot slammed his foot on the gas. "What are you all doing here?! I told you to stay put!"
"We're looking for my idiot cousin: ginger, no common sense, doesn't think as fast as he runs; you seen him?" Emerald replied.
"Hey!" a protest came from the back seat followed the sound of a smack and a yelp.
"You idiot! What were you thinking?!" Emerald exclaimed. "How could you be so stupid?!"
"Like I was going to miss the action again!"
The cab of the car rang with the sound of another smack as Emerald started to throttle her cousin. "Miss the action?! Haven't you listened to anything 'Bee or I told you about the 'Cons?! There's a reason we don't go on missions when they're involved!"
"Oh like you haven't gone on a mission with them?!"
"At least I know what I'm getting into!" Emerald retorted jamming her finger into his chest. "Besides, those times were accidents! What you did, that was on purpose! Heck! The League barely gets involved with the 'Cons; do you really think Optimus would let me join up on missions if he's hesitant to let our mentors join?!"
"Oh like your best friend wouldn't sneak you along?!"
"Unlike you he has a brain, so no, he wouldn't!"
The argument between the cousins ended abruptly as the vehicle came to a stop and the doors swung open. "Everyone out!" Bulkhead ordered. The group of teens scrambled out and Bulkhead slammed the doors shut before he looked at all of them, "All right, stay here—I mean it!"
With one final warning look, Bulkhead drove off, leaving the group of superpowered teens behind the boulder.
Emerald growled as she pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling a headache starting to form. With a loud sigh, she turned to face the others, crossing her arms, "Ok, so we're here, we don't have access to the groundbridge, and I bet by now comms have been jammed. KF, since you got us in this situation, you get to stay down here in timeout. Robin, try to see if you can contact the League, or someone. Aqualad, please keep them from doing something stupid."
"Wait! So what do you and Superboy get to do?!" Kid Flash interrupted.
"We are going to try to help Bulkhead. We're already here, and between all of us, we're the most likely to be an asset against the 'Cons in this present situation. Plus, we're the only ones who can reach the ship without an assist. You, Wally, are staying down here cause it's your fault we're in this situation!" she snapped. Emerald leveled a glare at her cousin, practically daring the speedster to argue.
However, it seemed like for once, Kid Flash had some sense of self-preservation as he opened his mouth and went quiet. Choosing instead to cross his arms and pout.
Satisfied with her victory, the Lantern shot into the air. Flying towards the warship, she watched as red and blue laser blasts flew across the deck of the ship and she could see a familiar green form hunkering down behind some platforms. Emerald smirked as she picked up speed, her ring glowing as she prepared an attack, with Bulkhead drawing all the attention, that meant they wouldn't be expecting her. Diving down towards the deck, the ginger girl grinned as a giant mallet formed. "Head's up!" she called.
Startled, the soldiers turned to look up at her. Only, they didn't have the chance to react before a giant glowing green hammer sent them flying off the deck.
Of the few men who remained, most seemed to have missed the plight of their comrades as they were locked in combat with Bulkhead. The Autobot grabbed one of the troopers, using him as a living shield to deflect the shots coming his way as he opened fired. Tossing the dead 'Con aside, the massive Autobot charged forwards, pulling out his wrecking ball and leaping into the air, causing the deck of the ship to shake with the force of his impact on the trooper in his way.
"Emerald!" Bulkhead exclaimed looking up at her. "I told you to stay put!"
"Well, sorry for trying to be helpful!" she retorted floating down to optic level. "Did you even see me take out those five 'Cons about to shoot you in the back?"
If Bulkhead was going to reply, he didn't get the chance as a trooper tackled him. Rolling across the deck, the pair started brawling as the young Lantern's eyes widened as she saw a hatch opening and more soldiers started crawling out. Reforming her mallet, she swung down, trying to close the lid as the men continued to try to escape.
Unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side as the troopers forced the hatch open by ripping the door off and hurling it at her. Forming a shield, Emerald grunted as it made impact, sending her flying into the canyon wall. Dust flew up from her impact, and she grunted as she pulled herself out of the crater she'd made.
Flying towards one of her attackers, she dove under the blasts he sent at her and sent a blast from her ring, knocking him into one of his allies. The pair stumbled and turned to face her, only they didn't get far before a giant hunk of metal flew into them and knocked them off the ship.
"Am I late?" Superboy asked wiping his hands as he stood next to the sparking remains of what had been one of the satellite dishes. Honestly, Emerald hoped it'd been important one too.
"No, just in time," she smirked. "Ready to go save Fowler?"
-.-
Kid Flash scowled as he looked up towards the warship. He could still hear the blasters firing and loud crashes followed by screams as he watched soldiers get tossed from the top. Leave it to his cousin to steal his thunder. Sure, he couldn't go fight 'Cons, but Emerald could. How fair was that?!
"Any luck?" Kaldur asked, stepping beside Robin.
"Not yet," the Boy Wonder grumbled. "Em wasn't kidding when she told me 'Con interference was no joke, this stuff is practically keeping me from getting to my own files, let alone finding the frequencies to contact the League."
KF scoffed, "We don't need the League. We can do this ourselves! I mean, Em, Bulk, and SB are already tearing them apart right now!"
Robin and Aqualad shared a skeptical look. "Perhaps, but our presence here only brought attention to Bulkhead in the first place," Kaldur replied.
"Aw c'mon!" the speedster exclaimed. "We can do it ourselves! With the 'Cons distracted I bet we could go rescue Fowler!"
Two massive shadows passed over them and the trio slowly looked up to see two Decepticons looming over them. "You were saying?"
"Oops."
-.-
Superboy grimaced as Bulkhead's footsteps thundered in the hall. The clone presumed that for a rescue mission, they'd want to be stealthy; though given the fact their cover was already blown it might've been pointless to try anyways. Besides, he didn't think he'd do stealth well anyways.
Racing through the dark halls, the boy couldn't help but silently marvel at the alien ship. The gnomes had taught him a lot, and because of it, he knew that human ships didn't look like this. It must've taken centuries to design and build something as advanced as this.
Hearing something that pulled him out of his thoughts, Superboy tried to tune out Bulkhead's stomping and his own panting as they raced through the ship. It took a moment, but blue eyes widened as he recognized approaching footsteps. "Up ahead!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, he could see two soldiers in the full autonomous robots turn the corner, seeming to freeze in surprise before raising their blasters. "Good catch kid!" Bulkhead said picking up speed and tackling one of them. The hall shook as powerful punched were thrown and Superboy bit his lip, trying to find the best course of action.
"Go for the seams!" Emerald said quickly landing beside him before shooting a blast from her ring. Watching what she was doing, his brows shot up as a green blade stabbed into a gap in the armor, tearing through wires and chords as sparks flew. Ripping the blade out, Superboy watched as blue fluid spattered the ground, and he could see the 'Con struggling to keep balance.
Following her lead, Superboy charged towards the one currently trying to shoot the lantern as she flew above him. Sliding under his massive pedes, he leapt up and tackled the back of the damaged knee, causing the machine to stumble and fall. Superboy dug his fingers into the open seams, tearing at any weak wires he could find, ignoring the sting of the blue liquid as it splattered on him.
"Look out!"
Leaping off, Superboy rolled back to his feet just in time to watch Bulkhead body slam the guy he'd just been attacking, crushing the torso, sending more of the strange blue fluid spattering across the floor.
He'd been out of Cadmus for two days and was getting to experience more excitement than he'd ever dreamed. Best decision he'd ever made.
-.-
Wally growled, kicking his legs as he pounded his fists against the claws trying to crush his waist as the soldier carried him through the dark violet halls. Across from him he could hear Robin trying to find a way to pry the massive talons off of him as Kaldur seemed to keep quiet.
What had he been thinking? Taking the 'Cons on alone? Even with his powers he'd barely lasted a minute against the "weaker" ones.
"Bring them to the brig, Commander Starscream's keeping the other human there," one of the men spoke.
That made him perk up. These guys knew where Fowler was, and they'd just told them where to find Fowler. Glancing at Robin, the speedster bit down a curse as he saw a slight shake of the Boy Wonder's head. Dang it, he still hadn't managed to contact the League or Bulkhead. There had to be a way for them to relay that info to their friends.
Fortunately, he didn't need to think of a way as he heard the familiar sound of an engine. Smirking to himself, Wally began pushing against his captor wanting to distance himself from the man as soon as possible.
Before the soldier could punish him, the sound of screeching brakes filled their ears and Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash found themselves flung into the air as a familiar yellow and black muscle car sweeped the pedes out of the 'Cons holding them. Falling back to the ground, the speedster braced from impact only to grunt as another hand wrapped around his waist. Though, when he opened his eyes to see who, he was relieved to meet the irritated face of Arcee.
"Thanks."
Arcee gave him a deadpan expression as she set him and Kaldur down on the floor, "Appreciate you clearing the front door for us, "but storming the Nemesis wasn't on the activity list."
Robin landed beside them, tucking his grappling hook back in his belt, "It was Wally's fault!"
"Yes—Wait, what?!"
"We can plant blame for this catastrophe later, where are the others?"
"Superboy and Emerald are with Bulkhead," Aqualad supplied.
Arcee gave a curt nod, as her arm transformed into a blaster and the trio watched as the doors to their friend's car opened. "Get in."
Not wanting to argue, they scrambled inside the vehicle, shifting in their seats as the scout remained uncharacteristically quiet. 'Bee was so going to chew them out later; assuming the League didn't kill them first.
Arcee took the lead as she ran down the halls, motioning for them to come forwards once she saw the coast was clear. Already they could hear loud steps echoing down the hall, and they only seemed to be getting closer. They watched as the older Autobot slowed her jog, raising her blaster as she pressed herself against the wall.
Whipping around the corner, Arcee leveled her gun to meet the end of Bulkhead's cannon. "Friendly!"
"Hello!"
Lowering her blaster, the woman shook her head as she put her servos on her hips, "Brought the humans, huh?"
"You try getting them to stay behind!"
Arcee gave a loud sigh, probably pinching her nose in the cockpit, "We need to find Fowler and get out of here."
Wally practically threw himself out of 'Bee's window. "The brig! Those guys said he was in the brig!"
-.-
Fowler panted as sweat and blood trickled down his body, staining his tattered suit and causing it to plaster itself to his body. Every now and then, he could feel tingling in his limbs, but he wasn't totally sure if that was the result of hanging by his arms for so long or because of that cattle prod.
The familiar click of heels circled him, and Fowler looked up a scowl on his face as he watched the lithe 'Con circle him. "My dear Agent Fowler," Starscream sighed, sounding bored as he tapped the staff of the prod against his open palm, "you do realize that the Autobots have abandoned you." The cybertronian chuckled hollowly as he stopped in front of him, using the end of the prod to lift the agent's chin, "I am the only one you can rely upon now. So tell me what I want to know, or…" the man smirked as his talon moved over the power button.
Agent Fowler had heard the tales about 'Con experiments. And, honestly, even the limited details he'd gotten over the years had made him sick. The things these beasts were capable of…it was on par with the horrors the Nazis had committed. However, unlike the villains of the second world war, these people had been at it for eons.
The report of Cliffjumper's death alone had made him lose his appetite for the rest of the day when he'd gotten it. What these butchers had done…it was beyond inhumane.
And now, Fowler was in a similar position, experiencing 'Con hospitality firsthand. Either he'd give them what they want, or he refused and ended up on one of their lab tables as a new pet project. The agent knew the only thing keeping them from going all-out in their interrogation was the fact humans were more fragile than the older race. But, Fowler knew if he continued to fight, that single shield he had would be tossed aside and he'd be in the direct path of unbridled Cybertronian fury. A fury he'd seen crush entire vehicles with one punch.
Bright light flickered in front of his eyes, causing Fowler to pull his head back as the electricity crackled mere inches from his face. "I'm waiting."
For a moment, the government agent considered giving up and answering. Of course, there was always the risk that he'd give them what they wanted and they'd just go on with their experiments anyways. But, there was the sliver of hope that they'd keep their word and release him. If they did keep their word, he could find a way to warn the League.
Fortunately, he was saved from contemplating his options as he heard the distant sound of blasters. Thank Uncle Sam's beard, his SOS managed to reach the 'Bots and the League.
His captors had noticed too as a scowl formed across the Commander's face. Waving his hand, the two men that escorted him in raised their weapons and had them exit. "Well Agent Fowler?"
"You're going to have to kiss my star-spangled shorts."
Red eyes flashed brighter with rage and Starscream jammed the prod into the agent's abdomen. Crying out in pain, Fowler could see black creeping on the edges of his vision. Head dropping to his chest as it spun, he fought to stay awake, knowing that falling unconscious in enemy territory was not going to end well.
"Someone find out what's going on out there!" Starscream hollered.
-.-
Explosions shook the hall as the teens huddled in the center under Emerald's shield. On either side of them, the Autobots fought, using their massive frames to shield the kids from the carnage.
Seeing something fall towards them, Emerald grit her teeth, putting more power into the shield as a sparking helm bounced off. The frame it had been connected to fell to the ground, energon seeping from the crushed chest cavity where the driver had likely been.
Emerald always forgot how awful war was. As a Lantern, she'd been in her fare share of battles, but those had always been in space. She knew that people died, but it was rare to see the carnage up close. Most of the time it was just blowing up hostile ships.
She just thankful that the Bots were using the Transformers right now. Hopefully it would keep her friends from realizing the true gravity of the situation.
Bulkhead stumbled, nearly landing on top of them as his optics widened. Throwing the 'Con who'd been attacking him overhead. She heard one final blast before the being collapsed to the ground, a massive smoking hole in the chest revealing itself as Arcee's blaster powered down.
With the final shot, the hall had gone eerily silent. However, Emerald's ears still rang with the constant barrage of blasters. Forming a bubble around them, She lifted the group into the air and began flying after the 'Bots as they lead them through the maze of a warship.
Arcee raised her hand as they came to a door, prompting her to stop as their allies stood on either side of it. Sharing a silent nod, Arcee and Bumblebee pressed themselves against the walls on either side of the entrance, blasters rippling with heat as they powered up. Bulkhead stood in the center and she fought the urge to cover her ears like her friends were.
However, instead of ripping the door off, Bulkhead began knocking.
"What's he doing?" Wally murmured as Superboy made an unsure shrug in response.
Their answer came as the doors opened to reveal a surprised trooper. Firing her blaster, Arcee whipped around the corner, tackling her living shield as she leapt into the room, guns blazing.
Choosing to stay outside the battlefield, the teens all listened as they heard crashes and gunfire. It was only once it went silent that Emerald set them all on the ground, dropping the shield as they stepped inside.
The Lantern couldn't help but drop her jaw. This wasn't just any random room, they were actually on the bridge of the Nemesis. They were in the head command location of the entire Decepticon army. She could even see Megatron's throne sitting in the center of the room, allowing him to monitor everything going on around him.
Heavy footsteps approached and the group of teens craned their necks to look up at Arcee as she loomed over them, putting her hands on her hips. "All of you, stay here."
"Sure that's a good idea?" 'Bee spoke up.
"They're slowing us down and they're easy targets," the woman replied. "They'll be alright in here, as long as they stay put."
Emerald grimaced at the tone, oh their mentors were so going to hear about this later weren't they? Slapping her hand over her cousin's mouth before he could protest or say something equally stupid, she gave them a thumbs up. "No problem."
"Good." Without another word, the three Autobots raced from the room, likely heading towards the brig to rescue Fowler.
The group remained silent for a moment as the doors slid shut, the only sounds being their heavy breathes and own heartbeats in their ears. "That…was intense," Kid Flash panted, breaking the silence.
Immediately, the rest of them turned to face the speedster. "Was? It still is!" Superboy argued.
"Come on guys! This is awesome!"
"Awesome?" Emerald scoffed, glaring at her cousin. "It's it your fault we're in this situation!"
"Hey, I didn't ask you guys to follow me!"
"Aren't you the one who wanted us to be a team?!" she retorted, crossing her arms. "God, Wally! I know you're an idiot sometimes, but in terms of stupid ideas, this takes the cake!" Growling, the redhead pinched the bridge of her nose. "Why am I surprised? You never listen!"
"Guys?"
"I mean, 'Bee has told us countless times about how dangerous the 'Cons are! Heck! Even the Lantern Corps doesn't like us going up against Cybertronians!"
"Guys!"
"Did you really think you were capable of handling something that even the strongest members of the League have problems with?!"
"GUYS!" Robin exclaimed. Seeing he had their attention, the Boy Wonder waved them over to a console station he was standing at. "Come take a look at this."
Glancing between themselves, the others walked up one of the ramps towards the workstation. One massive monitor, they watched various red lines and diagrams flicker on the screen. "What is that?" Aqualad spoke up.
"I don't know, but I know math when I see it," Robin smirked. "I bet it's important, really important."
"Important enough to steal and get to Optimus?" Wally inquired.
"Absolutely," Robin grinned. A holoscreen appeared on his glove and he began typing. "I don't know much about Cybertronian tech, but I don't think they have a port for me to plug in and download. So a few pics will have to do."
"You can take pictures on that?"
"Duh."
Raising his arm, Robin began snapping pictures of the screen. However, the hiss of the doors sliding open cut his photoshoot short. Freezing, the group of teens slowly turned, eyes going wide as they saw one of the soldiers walk in. Spotting their fallen comrades, the alien began to stomp forwards, prompting the group to take cover under one of the ramps leading to high consoles.
They all hoped the 'Con wouldn't take a closer look.
-.-
Starscream bit his lip, glancing to the doors as the sounds of fighting grew closer. The Autobots and League had gotten there faster than he'd anticipated. It would only be a matter of kliks at this rate before the rescue party arrived. If he wanted information, he had to get it now. "Wake up you pathetic waste of flesh!"
"Grandma? Is it cookie time?"
Great, now his prisoner was useless too. Baring his fangs, Starscream ran a clawed hand through his hair. This was so not going according to plan. The human was supposed to have squealed by now! They were tiny, weak beings; it shouldn't have been so hard to break one!
A knock came from the door, and the remaining soldier raised his blaster nervously as the door opened to reveal another of their men. "Well?!"
The frame dropped to the ground, and a blaster fired, hitting his last man, leaving a scorch mark where he'd been standing as two of the Autobots rolled in, weapons lowered at him.
Raising his own blaster, Starscream leveled it at the human. "Not so fast."
It was then he noticed the familiar hum of a blaster above him. Slowly looking up, Starscream scowled as he met the optics of the Autobot Arcee. Primus, that one in particular had been a scraplet in his side for eons. "I wouldn't."
"Oh, but I might," Starscream grinned. "Now, Agent Fowler and I will take our leave. Try anything, and I can't promise his…safe return."
"The emu says: YEEAAH!"
Caught off guard, Starscream snapped his head to stare at the human. Unfortunately, it gave the Autobots an opening to attack him. A blaster hit the ground at his feet, knocking the Vosian back. Rolling back to his feet, Starscream leapt out of the way as more shots scorched the ground of where he'd been previously standing.
Continuing to dodge the incoming shots, the man smirked as he heard a familiar sound approaching. On cue, his jet shot into the room, forcing the two Autobots blocking the door to duck. Seizing his opportunity, he leapt inside the cockpit and hit the thrusters flying away before his attackers could recover.
That had been far too close for his liking.
-.-
That had been way too close for Emerald's liking.
Actually, it was still too close. Already she could hear the angry pedes of the soldier she'd attacked following them from the bridge as they ran to escape. The man's blaster began to power up, and she whirled around, ready to fire her own blast to buy her friends time.
Fortunately, she didn't need to as Bulkhead soared overhead and tackled the soldier to the ground. Sparks showered the hall as the pair slid along the floor, the Wrecker managing to get his feet back under him as he flipped the Decepticon overhead, slamming him to the floor.
Beside them, Bumblebee pulled up, opening his door.
Not that they needed to be told twice. Squishing themselves into the car, the group gave their friend sheepish smiles as he stepped on the gas. "Didn't we tell y'all to stay put!"
"We got attacked!" Superboy replied. "Did you find Fowler?"
"He's in the trunk," 'Bee replied. "Now hold on, it's gonna a bumpy ride."
-.-
Autobot Base, 18:15PDT
"Recognized: Batman—02, Superman—01, Wonder Woman—03, Flash—04, Martian Manhunter—07, Aquaman—06, Green Lantern—05."
"We got your message! You said there was an emergency—" Flash started before stopping as he noticed everyone. "Whoa…what happened to all of you?"
Ratchet turned towards them, dirt stained with a dark liquid smeared on his armor and into deep gouge marks. Dried energon plastered to his face from a cut stitched up on his brow and his right arm in a brace. "Optimus and I fought an army of undead Cybertronians warriors."
"Zombies?" Kid Flash spoke up, drawing the attention of the adults to the group of slightly battered teens sitting on various chairs by the bed of an unconscious Agent Fowler. "You guys fought zombies and I missed it?!"
"What happened to all of you?" Green Lantern asked, looking at the kids.
"Wally decided it'd be a good idea to storm the Decepticon warship," Emerald deadpanned. "Without Bulkhead's knowledge. We ended up in a warzone trying to bring this idiot back."
"Dude!"
"Oh like it isn't the truth!"
"Wallace, you what?!" Flash exclaimed. "We told you to stay away from the 'Cons!"
"Bulkhead," Optimus spoke looking to the Wrecker, "is this true?"
"Yes sir, it won't happen again."
"Don't blame Bulkhead," Superboy said, gripping the rails. "He tried to keep us out of it and told us to stay put. But…we didn't listen after we went after Kid Flash."
"Plus, we got something too!" Robin chimed in going to the computer. Attaching the cable from his glove, he pulled up the pictures he took. "Recon!"
"Ratchet, take a look at this, it may be important to Megatron."
That caught everyone's attention.
"Whoa, wait, Megatron?" Kid Flash repeated. "As in the big bad leader of the Decepticons himself? He's back?"
"Yes," Optimus answered gravely. "It appears while during his absence he managed to encounter dark energon."
The term made those of Earth furrow their brows in confusion. They knew about energon, it was the food and lifeblood of their allies. But dark energon…they'd never heard of that before. Though, judging from the looks of surprise on the other Autobots' faces it wasn't hard to guess that it wasn't anything good.
"Dark Energon?" Arcee scoffed. "I thought it was a myth."
"Oh, it's real," Ratchet huffed.
"Hold on," Superman interrupted. "Ok, so we know about energon. But dark energon? What's that?"
"An abomination," Bulkhead scoffed. "I remember hearing horror stories about it as a youngling. It was said to be the blood of the Slagmaker."
"I heard that it sucks the life out of those who stay close to if for too long," Arcee added, "turning them into barely living husks bound in eternal slavery to the Chaos Bringer himself."
Raising his hand, Optimus silenced his subordinates before they could delve too far into legends, mixing fact and fiction. "Like its name suggests, dark energon is the antithesis of our own energon. It was used in the ancient wars of the Primes by the Fallen, and to a normal Cybertronian, is essentially our kryptonite."
Superman paled at the comparison, as did others. They all knew the effects kryptonite had on their friend, and to know there was another version out there that could incapacitate some of their other strongest members…it wasn't a pleasant realization.
"However, unlike kryptonite, dark energon possesses a few other abilities. Mostly the ability to raise the dead," Optimus explained. "These…zombies, are often unpredictable and violent, killing anything in their path. Yet…Megatron was able to control them."
Bulkhead scoffed, "That's impossible only traitor Primes like the Fallen could control those monsters."
"Or those who infused themselves with dark energon," Ratchet remarked. "Megatron's eyes they were glowing violet, you don't think…"
"Yes."
"And…if what we faced was just a prelude…" Ratchet trailed off looking back to the screen, "I'll need to make sure, but if I'm right…" Stepping up to the monitor, the medic began typing quickly, "These are the engineering specs to a space-time vortex generator."
"Why would Megatron be building a spacebridge?" Wonder Woman inquired.
"Who cares, the sooner he leaves the better," Flash shrugged.
"Spacebridges are the larger version of a groundbridge," Batman replied. "And like one they run in two directions. Megatron isn't planning on leaving, he's bringing an army."
"The main event he spoke of during our battle," Optimus nodded, "and there's only one place where he can find that many fallen warriors."
"Cybertron."
