/𓁹Dreams of Sarada𓁹/
Pale summer moonlight shimmers on the floor
A kunoichi , unaware that dawn will bring capture,
Rests within a trap, dreaming fleeting dreams...
/𓁹Act1: Green𓁹/
Up until I was 12, I would always remember that I would ask my mother where my father was and when will he return from his mission. The answer was always the same. But still. Why had he been on a mission for so long. One day I overheard lord seventh say he would meet with him. Those emotions I had that day. All that was on my mind was to sneak out and see for myself. ChoCho tagged along to find her real parents which I let her. It's been nearly a year since that experience, I still have questions left but for now I would rather have them unanswered and cherish the time he is here.
"Yo Sarada!"
I snapped out of my thoughts as A familiar voice rang behind my ear and the footsteps grew louder. I turned my body to look behind me and as expected it was none other than a childhood friend of mine named Uzumaki Boruto. He was the lord seventh's son and from seeing his face, you could see the similarities between him and lord seventh. I sometimes envy him for having a dad such as lord seventh and him just being ungrateful. At least his dad is here in the village.
Either way, behind him was another boy who had light blue hair, almost white, wearing what looks a kimono at first but it isn't. His name was Mitsuki who was a mysterious boy when we first transferred to the academy and I would be lying if I said I wasn't suspicious of him anymore.
"Hey Boruto and Mitsuki, what are you guys up to"I responded just as they stopped in front of me.
"We were just thinking of training and I was gonna see if you wanted to join" said Boruto smiling.
"It's no fun training without you two together" Mitsuki smirked adding in to Boruto.
Mitsuki was sorta the type of guy who would pair me with Boruto which I don't understand and honestly don't want to.
"Training would end fast either way because I'll always be the surperior" I scoffed at him while smiling.
"EHH?!," Boruto exclaimed as he raised a fist. "As if you would win! We both know I'm the stronger one, want me to prove it!!"
"Heh..bold of you to state it out like that," I said pushing up my glasses. "But I guess I'll beat you one more time."
"As if!" Boruto growled.
Mitsuki was just staring at us giggling before saying, "You two really do make a good couple"
I could feel my face turning red, not because it was true, it would never be true, but because I was mad. I guess I was maybe blushing but it's not like I like Boruto.
"We do not!" We both exclaimed at Mitsuki who was just smiling at us.
We were at a training ground where me and Boruto fought as part of training, especially because he wouldn't admit that I was stronger. All he ever does is throw Ransengans and clones at me.
"Hmph, let's get the real fight on!" Exclaimed Boruto while making hand signs which seems to be summoning a shadow clone.
"You've been saying that the past times! Just admit that I'm the stronger one" I smirked.
"No way!" Yelled Boruto as 4 shadow clones, 2 on his left and 2 on his right, spawned behind but then charged forward at me.
'Here we go again' I thought as my sharingan activated in a blink of an eye. I prized my sharingan as it was a feature I gained from my father. I wasn't a master at controlling it and especially because I only have one tomoe unlocked, but I'd say my skills were enough to take on chuinin ranked shinobi's.
I focused my eye on the left shadow clones which appeared to be nearing me so with the one which was furthest above the other clones, I silently dodged it by twirling my body to my right direction where the further right one was about to punch me, but luckily I equipped my kunai and swung at it, making it disappear in a puff of smoke as I grinned and kicked my leg to the left clone I dodged earlier which too made it disappear. The other two shadow clones that were still up were charging at me at the same time so I grabbed two shuriken from both of my pouches before I threw them and dropped my kunai as I jumped backwards preforming a backflip like jump and landed on my toes crouching.
"Hyahhhhhhhhh!"
I heard a scream like voice behind me when I remembered that the real Boruto had still been up so with my adrenaline and sharingan I tried to react to it as quickly as possible to dodge it.
"Ransengan!" screamed Boruto as he charged behind me with his fist behind his back which held the blue sphere of wind.
I was just barely able to dodge it but when I did it disappeared which meant, that it was another shadow clone he must have summoned while I was taking care of the other 4. Just before I could land leaning, a quick gust of wind passed behind me and as I turned the side of my head and saw which for sure had to be Boruto because if it wasn't, then I'm screwed. He then plunged the real rasengan into the side of my stomach which sent me flying about 4 meters away where my body slammed into a tree creating a cloud of dirt and leaves.
I got up pretty quickly and but soon back down, leaning on one knee while breathing heavily.
"Told ya so 'ttebasa" smiled Boruto as he held his thumb up to his face with a wide smile.
I grinned at him before standing my ground again, ready for attack. We were both bruised but at the looks, he seemed to be more bruised than I was .
Looks are deceiving. But you won't fall for that, right?I then flinched at the voice that was in my head, or did I hear it? I looked around me but there was only Boruto smiling at himself for landing a hit on me and Mitsuki watching from the sidelines underneath a tree to block the sunlight in the shadows. It couldn't be either of them because the voice was a calm and soothing male, one whom I've never heard. Have I?
I was confused but then I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Boruto yell out, "c'mon giving up, you should've done that in the beginning".
"*huff* as if *huff* as if I'm giving up *huff* I let you land that attack" I smiled back at him in response.
"No yea didn't, admit that I'm stronger!" He yelled at me with a big grin before charging at me.
"That would be lying if did" I responded getting ready to charge at him back.
He tried landing a punch on me before I dodged backwards but yet he still continued so I decided to play like that to him back. A Taijustu fight is fun. Each punch was one step backwards to where we somehow ended up near a cliff which I don't recall being there but my mind was caught up on dodging punches I didn't mind to be suspicious.
He then tried punching at me from my left shoulder, or in his perspective my right, and he swung his head there to but at that moment where my right side was able to see the trees, I couldn't make it out but I swear I saw a man staring at us in the shadows with green hair that was tied into a low fluffy ponytail that reached his waist from the distance I saw him in. He had a black and white hat or a baseball cap which covered his and prevented me from seeing them. He was standing lifeless which scared me. Maybe I was imagining him but I was so caught up in trying to get the details in what he was that I forgot I was clashing with Boruto and he hit my left shoulder causing me jerk back and landed on my knees while staring at the ground. I lifted my head back up to not only see Boruto smirking at me, which I could assume is because he was gaining the upper hand, and that the man I caught a glimpse of was gone but a swirl of leaves was there in his place.
I groaned as I was trying to balance my feet to stand back up but I was still crouching a little.
"Looks like you want to get beaten since you still won't admit it" Boruto smirked as he put his hands on his hips.
I scoffed as I was getting ready to attack him once more and before I was ready to lunge at him, I slipped my left foot behind my right for a running start but I felt something crumble beneath me and suddenly, There was no ground.
The last I can remember was seeing Boruto with a worried face stretching out his hands to try to grab me when I realized that I had fallen off the edge of the cliff we got near because the piece of ground I was standing on couldn't hand my weight as I was about to lunge at Boruto so it must've crumbled.
I tried reaching out for his hands but he just seemed to far away as I was descending into the ground that felt miles away from me. I could feel my eyes tear up a little as I did not want my life to end in a way like this. But before any of my tears could slip the, the man I had envisioned was there again and rig he before I knew it. I was in some sort of bright white room that was glowing. I felt like I was standing in air when I heard someone giggle in a way of a smile for like half a second.
The man was right in front of me extending his arm to me as if he was saying to come with him. I got a better view of how he looked like. His hair was a chartreuse/pear green and his shirt was a white long sleeved button up type and he had ruffly black pants with a few parts looked like it was knitted on by scraps of cloth and a bandage around his right thigh on his pants just like the ANBU black ops. His cap still covered his eyes but this time I could see the lower part of his face. He was smiling at me with his clean teeth. He was also away taller than me, about mama's height. He further extended his hand and I don't know why but, a part of me wanted to grab on to it.
I felt another gust of wind in my face before I woke from whatever I was fantasizing and remembered I was falling off of a cliff and this time I put my hand down and no longer reached out for Boruto's. All I could hear was the wind pushing through me and cut out screams of Boruto, everything was in slow motion like the sharingan. I tilted my head down and now both my body and head were falling down straight backwards as I was tilting my head more backwards to see my fall.
I was a few feet down from where I fell so I knew the point of being rescued by Boruto was useless unless he wished to fall down with me with the chance of dying along side me. My head band I was wearing that I got from graduating the academy was untying itself and my glasses slipped off as well while my hair was getting in the way of my eyes. I could see Boruto leaning his body down from the cliff, being careful not to fall as well, still extending his hand but we both knew it was useless. For once we agreed on a topic.
I smiled at him before closing my eyes and my head staring down at the ground that awaited me. The tears finally slipped as I frowned.
'Looks like I won't see you again, papa'
I thought before giving up in trying. I didn't want my life to end but I had to except it.
Before I knew, a sharp pain spread across my body but I didn't scream. I was most likely dead. I hit the ground. I tried opening my eyes but everything was blurry, all I could hear was a loud and long bleep as I knew I was nearing the end of my life. But before I shut off my eyes to sleep eternally, the man's shoes from before were there, along with a small puddle of blood which I could assume was mine from falling off such a height, but I had no more strength to keep them open and closed them off.
You won't die. The pieces are still in place for you...
