I just walked away on my own to get showered and changed. I walked into the changing room the door banging behind me before I went to my locker and grabbed my thermos of blood and drank a swig of the crimson ichor and quickly changed. "Wait up Ama!" I turned to look at Mina.

"What is it? I need to get going." I said.

"Sheesh, no need to be so cold. I was thinking we could hang out!" She smiled.

"No." I walked past her into the shower.

"Oh come on! It'll be fun!"

I turned to look at the pink skinned girl, fiery red and gold meeting black and yellow. "I just have too much to deal with." She pouted at me. "Fine, if I find time, I'll consider it."

'Enjoy this small amount of childhood you got back.' I could here Aizawa's words in my head.

I showered and left the school, Naomasa waiting for me. I got in the seat of his car and I went home with him. 'The first day is done...'

Chapter 6: Battle Trials

I sat in my seat in class as the day went by, math, English, science, Japanese. I had paid complete attention to the lessons... even to Midnight who would give Dibella new ideas for her sacred arts. I was glad my cold blood prevented me from blushing. "So, who do you think the Hero course teacher is?" Mina asked me as she leaned over to me.

"Given the fact we have seen most of the first year staff, I would have to guess it's a combat or rescue hero. In fact I would more lean towards a rescue hero." I said to her.

"Huh, really? Why?" She asked.

"Look around you? The class is full of whelps who have never been in a real fight, it would be foolish to let them fight as is without making sure they have complete control of their quirks. And one member in particular..." My head turned toward Bakugo, "He isn't the kind to stop when told."

"You talk like you have experience..." She said before whispering, "Don't tell me, back home you were secretly a vigilante fighting crime?" She asked, her yellow and black eyes sparkling. I just sighed at the pink skinned girl who had decided she would be my friend. "Don't worry your secret is safe with me."

"Mina, I wasn't a Vigilante. I was taken in by a group of heroes. You pick some things up." I just went back to my notes. 'Well... I did save my world... twice... before I was sixteen.'

The door slammed open and in strutted a massive muscular man, twin blonde bangs spiked up, I recognized him immediately, his red and blue outfit. I am here entering the room like a hero!" All Might announced as the room erupted in whispers. "I am here to be your teacher for Hero 101!" He walked proudly into the room.

"It's All Might!" Mina beamed.

"He is impressive to look at." I said as I leaned back with a hand on my cheek.

"Now class settle down, we have a bit to cover. But I believe it's best to get you all into fighting shape. And that's why you will be using these. It's one thing to be a hero in training and another to look like it. These costumes were made by the specifications you sent to the support gear companies." He clicked a button while pointing at four metal strips in the wall that ran from ceiling to the floor. They slid out revealing boxes labeled with numbers, I was number sixteen as I waited for the others to get theirs. Once the crowd cleared I stood up and grabbed the case, and hidden behind it was a second one, also marked as sixteen, longer and thinner. I grabbed it and walked out with the girls to the change room.

I set the cases down and clicked the larger one open. Inside was a set of armor based off of my companions armor. I removed my uniform only to here whispers behind me. I knew my back was covered in scars from wild animals, bandits, dragons, bears, and other things, but few compared to the massive claw marks running down my shoulders to my hips. "Essori..." Mina reached out to me

"Villain. I rather not talk about that." I said while looking away from them as I pulled on the two piece under suit. I picked up the armor and clasped it into place with ease, the chest plate giving some more definition to my figure. I strapped everything into place, pulling the boots and armored gauntlets on. I opened the second case and picked up my Skyforge steel blade, I had sent a letter to Nezu that no company was to touch this blade. I sheathed the blade on my hip as I picked up my quiver of arrows and my bow which I tied across my back, there was a full lock picking kit which I put in a pouch. I picked up the open face helm, designed to resemble a gothic Dragon, the one major deviation from the design, the steel fresh out of a work shop. I held it against my hip as I walked out of the changing room.

I was the last girl out of the room as I walked onto the training field, I could see the various colorful outfits. Most of them skintight, only Aoyama and Iida was was wearing armor, Aoyama had large glass disks on his stomach, knees and shoulders. Mina wore a purple and green suit with a furred vest and white mask, Jiro wore a black leather outfit with speakers in her boots. Momo was in a red and white open fronted leotard with a yellow belt skirt.

Several of the girls glanced back at me as I stood away from the crowd. I looked around and spotted Izuku, his green suit with 'ear spikes' that were clearly reminiscent of All Might's bangs. He had a filter with a teeth like design, "Essori. Y-you look amazing." He said with a stutter.

"All the Companions wear armor." I said as I rested my hand on the pommel of the blade. "They trace their ancestry to legendary warriors of the past." I smiled. "I'm proud to be among their ranks one day."

"1-A! May I have your attention please!" All Might called to us. "Today we will be doing battle simulations." Then the questions started, from if we were to be battling automatons, or if we would be at risk of expulsion, or if Aoyama's cape looked good. And I'll admit, that sparkling cape was amazing. "Ahem." All Might cleared his throat, clearly unsure of how to handle the questions. "We will be drawing lots for teams of two, ten in total, and you will be facing off with another team. You will face the most criminals indoors, drug busts, hostage situations, villain lairs. Indoors close quarter combat."

'Makes sense to me.' I thought. 'But then the question is who are we facing? And who will I be teamed with?' I asked myself as we stepped forward to draw balls from a box. I reached in and pulled out a letter A. "Who has A?" I asked myself.

"Oh, that's me." I looked at Midoriya as he held up his. All around the teams formed. "What are the chances of that?" He asked.

"Realistically, one in nineteen." I said. "Well, if I had to guess we would be going first."

"F-first?" He asked panicked.

"Hey, you'll be fine." I patted him on the shoulder. "No need to be a milk drinker."

He blinked at me a few times. "What?"

"Right... you wouldn't understand that." I said. "Don't worry about it."

"All right! Now to determine the Heroes and Villains!" All Might announced. "Our first match up is Team A and Team D!"

"Oh no. It's Kacchan..." Izuku started to sweat.

I sighed. 'Great.' I looked at team D, Bakugo and Iida. I had ideas of how their 'quirks' worked. Iida would be a problem for me, I had fought very few opponents actually faster then me. As for Bakugo... I had little idea for how either of the two fought, taking a separate exam had left me clueless to their fighting style.

All Might announced all the other pairs before we left to the area that we would train in, the goal of our team was to reclaim a stolen weapon from the villains. I leaned against the rail as Midoriya muttered. While I had fought with others before, I knew that they had more then one attack to work with. "You have a history with Bakugo?" I asked. We had fifteen minutes to prepare for the event.

"Y-yes..." He looked away from me. "I-."

"I'm not asking for your past, I can tell... he was horrible to you. If you want to talk to me after school about it, but for now I need to know what to expect." I said as I looked at the green clad boy. "I can't really use my quirk's most powerful ability without... inflicting permanent harm. I can drain life force, and use in effect magic, that's the best way to describe it."

"What about your necromancy factor to your quirk?" He asked.

"That... is a good idea, but it takes a lot of energy, which takes awhile to regain so I try not to rely on that part, because it's easier with... well a body... over just creating one." I said. "Villain quirk. So that's why I have a sword." I gripped the hilt. "Hmmm..." I smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" He asked.

"I have a plan."
