I agreed to be Abby's maid of honor at her wedding that happened two weeks before mine and we took the train out to Amity for the ceremony. Her mother Judith and I helped her dress and it was nice to see my friend so happy.

I am so proud of you. Judith signed, eyes glistening with tears.

"Thanks, Mom." She adjusted her pale wedding dress and smiled. "I'm ready."

Her father Hugh walked her down the isle to where Eustace waited by the preacher.

"Dearly beloved, we have gathered here to witness the union of Eustace Lorne to Abigail Green. Do you have the rings?"

Eustace's brother Thomas presented them.

"We will begin with the vows. Eustace, you may go first."

"Abby, when we met I could barely believe that someone so kind came into my life just when I was beginning to wonder if I would find anyone. I love you so much and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together. I vow to be ever faithful as your spouse, to honor and cherish you with all that I have."

"And now you, Abigail."

"Eustace, I knew from the moment we met that my life would never be the same. You showed so much compassion and caring to others that I wasn't entirely certain you were for real at first. However, as we got to know each other I realized you were completely honest in every way and it didn't take me long to fall in love you. I am looking forward to sharing everything with you even more than we were before. I vow to be just as faithful, honoring and cherishing you in return."

They exchanged rings.

"And now, by the power vested in me, I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Everyone clapped as the couple did so. There was light food, music and dancing and then Eustace and Abby left for their honeymoon.

I headed back to Dauntless because I knew Liam would be working all night.

The day finally came for Liam and I to be married. Marion, Abby, Eustace and I all took the train out to Erudite. Abby and I helped each other get ready.

"This is so strange being here. I know you described it and everything, but I never imagined it was so... sterile."

"It's considered part of the charm." I replied dryly.

Abby laughed. "Right. Ready?"

I glanced at myself in the mirror wearing a white dress, which was such a contrast with my black leather. "Yeah, definitely."

"Great, let's get you hitched."

I smiled and walked out to the roof with her where Liam was waiting by Marion and I clasped Liam's hands as he beamed down at me lovingly.

Marion cleared his throat. "One of the many privileges of a parent is to see his children grow up and today I have the extraordinary pleasure of marrying my son Liam Jackson to Emma Chase, who even before today felt like a daughter to me after she joined Dauntless. Eustace, the rings."

Eustace held out the pillow they were on with a grin.

"The couple will now exchange vows."

Liam slid my ring on. "I vow to be the best husband I can be across factions, for there is no one I would rather live out the rest of my days with. You mean everything to me."

I felt tears pricking at my eyes as I smiled and slid his ring on. "And I vow to ever be your loving wife regardless of our faction differences, for in our hearts we are the same and there's no place I would rather be than with you."

"By the authority given me, I pronounce these two married. Go on, kiss already."

Liam and I laughed together before we complied.
