As she walked down the hall towards her class a week after the Physical Exams, Kagome almost tripped over her feet when she noted a boy pass by her with bright pink hair.
"... The hell?! And they get on to me about uniforms?!" the miko spluttered, staring as he turned the corner. "I know that wasn't natural!"
A few minutes later, she saw the same boy come down the hall with electric blue hair. The former time traveler rubbed the heels of her hands over her eyes and blinked the spots away. Then, she reached out and snagged the younger kid's tie and stopped him.
"Okay, I just saw you with pink hair. There's no damn way you could have changed colors that fast!" she hissed, annoyed at the anomaly. He blinked wide golden eyes and swallowed slowly.
"You're... that girl Tamaki-sempai taught dirty French, right?" It clicked in the next second and Kagome released the boy and sighed.
"Of course, you're one of those ginger twins. I saw your brother, then. I thought I was going crazy," the senior muttered, running a hand through her lengthening bangs. "It wouldn't be the first time."
"Yeah. We're... kinda fighting right now," the younger boy shrugged, looking a little awkward after that.
"Huh. You have a weird way of showing it." She dismissed him and started down the hall. At this rate, she was going to be late for morning bell.
"It's because everyone mistakens us. We're twins, so no one can tell us apart," the former ginger blurted out, stopping with a gasp. He wasn't sure why he'd just admitted that to a stranger; and although he and his brother were only putting on the dramatics because they were bored, it was a niggling thought that had always plagued him.
Kagome stopped and clenched her hand in her shirt. Her heart ached to hear that. It was a situation she herself was so familiar with it almost brought her to her knees in tears. Someone else was bothered by such an issue...
"It's not my problem. You guys figure it out for yourselves, but you're both two different people, no matter how alike you look. No matter what everyone may tell you otherwise." The miko hastily took off, turning the corner and leaving one confused Hiitachin twin staring after her in surprise.
She wouldn't get involved! She wouldn't!

The minute she walked into the lunch room and saw Honey flying through the air with a random assortment of food and objects, she spun on her heel and walked right back out.
"This is a nope day for me. Nope. Not happening," she mumbled, rubbing her temples and sighing quietly.
She was not getting involved!

The sun was setting. Mori sighed quietly and followed his tiny cousin down the hall away from the music room the Host Club was set up in. Today had been particularly hectic; so much so that he hadn't been given a chance to interrogate Kagome about her odd behaviour during the Physical Exams. In fact, he had the distinct impression she was avoiding him.
"Hmm? There's someone in this library?" Honey wondered out loud, stopping at the open door and blinking cutely. He then smiled hugely and grabbed his companion's arm to pull him in. "Look! Look! Takashi, it's Kago-chan!"
Mori allowed the blonde to pull him over to their female classmate and suddenly felt his face heat up. The raven-haired girl he'd been thinking of for the past several days was sitting at one of the tables, her long hair loose and curling down her back and around her schoolwork on the table as she slept peacefully, a content smile on her lips.
'She looks adorable,' the tall senior thought, knowing his face was flushed. 'So tiny! Like a little doll.'
"Awww! She looks so cute!" Honey whispered, afraid to disturb the normally caustic girl. "I wonder how long she's been here?"
"Mitsukuni, don't startle her. She might punch you," the Stoic Host murmured, remembering the incident in the Kendo Club and sharing a look with his cousin. They both smirked when they pictured the small girl in front of them doing exactly that. Yeah, they had to be careful.
"But how do we wake her up? She can't stay here overnight," the blonde questioned, trying to come up with an idea. Mori solved this by leaning down near her ear and putting a hand on her shoulder. If she did hit someone, he'd rather it be him.
"Higurashi-san. The library is closing. You need to wake up." Kagome jolted and squeaked, sliding away from the table to stare up at Mori in confusion. He, in turn, resisted the urge to smooth her hair from her face. She would definitely punch him for that.
"W-W-Wha-! Where am I?" the miko stuttered hoarsely, attempting to pat down her wild hair. One minute, she'd sat down in the overly loud crowded library to get some of her homework done, the next, she was seeing the blazing oranges and reds of the setting sun and Mori was whispering in her ear. She was feeling horribly flustered and off balance.
"You're still at school, Kago-chan," Honey answered, a sweet smile on his face. She directed enormous blue eyes on the smaller senior as he continued. "You fell asleep, and we didn't want to leave you overnight. That would have been bad for your back."
"... Oh," she countered, clearing her throat and licking her dry lips. She shakily rose to her feet and gathered her books in a matter of seconds, shoving them haphazardly into her bag. "Then, thanks for that." Kagome whirled around on the two boys and jabbed her finger at Mori's chest; she would have shoved it in his face, but he was too damn tall! "But don't get in my personal space like that again! You will regret it!"
The miko spun back on her heel and stomped away, a flush building on her cheeks as they followed her out the door and down the hall. She heard Honey giggle and groaned inwardly.
She'd probably been drooling on her books.
"You're really cute when you're sleeping, Kago-chan. Right, Takashi?"
"... Yeah."
"S-Shut up!" Kagome shouted, her face flaming.
"Hee hee!"
"I'm going home, damn it!"
