Nakul and Ragini (Purvi) reached home. Ragini went inside the house while Nakul drove for his office for some urgent work. Ragini went inside her room and laid on the bed. Suddenly she realised someone pressing her forehead gently. She looked at the person and smiled.
"Ye aap kya kar rahe hain papa?"...She asked while sitting on the bed.
"Apni beti ka khayal rakh raha hoon"...ACP Pradyuman replied with a smile.
"Uski koi zaroorat nahin hai papa...Main thik hoon"...Ragini assured with a smile.
"Thik hai beta...Phir tum rest karo, main jaata hoon"...ACP Pradyuman said and caressed her head.
He stood up to leave from there but Ragini held his hand and made him sit in front of her.
"Aapne khaana khaya?"...Ragini asked.
"Haan...Kha liya"...ACP Pradyuman replied while avoiding her gaze.
"Kya papa ACP hokar jhooth bolte hain aap...Galat baat hai, bahut galat baat hai"...Ragini said while turning his face towards her.
ACP Pradyuman looked at her.
"Main jaanti hoon, meri chinta mein aapne khaaya hi nahin hoga"...Ragini said in a little anger.
ACP Pradyuman smiled at her anger. Ragini looked at him and noticed his smile.
"Aap muskuraiye mat papa...Main bahut gussa hoon aapse, kyunki aapko apni health ka bilkul khayal nahin hai...Aap khud apna khayal nahin rakhte aur mujhse kehte hain apna khayal rakho...Huh!"...She said in anger.
ACP Pradyuman was about to say something in his reply but she indicated her hand to stop him.
"Ek shabd bhi nahin papa...Aap baithiye main aapke liye khaana lekar aati hoon"...She said before going into the kitchen.
ACP Pradyuman smiled at her love and care for him.
At the other side, Kavin was sitting in his room and was working on his laptop. Suddenly he heard the sound of his doorbell. He went and opened the door and saw Abhijeet standing at the doorstep.
"Sir aap...Andar aaiye na"...He welcomed him with a gentle smile.
Abhijeet smiled and came inside the house. Kavin closed the door and signalled him to sit.
"Kaise ho Kavin?"...Abhijeet asked after sitting on a sofa.
"Thik hoon sir"...Kavin replied before sitting in front of him on a sofa.
"Achchha...Ye rahi Nasik wale case ki files"...He said while giving him some files.
"Okay sir...Thanks"...Kavin said while taking the files from him.
He kept the files on a nearby table. Suddenly someone pressed the doorbell again, Kavin excused himself and went to open the door. He saw his milkman standing at the doorstep.
"Kya bhaiya aaj phir late hain aap, aapki wajah se humein dairy se doodh laana padta hai"...Kavin said while moving into the kitchen to bring the container to take milk.
"Sir aaj to baarish ki wajah se late ho gaye"...The milkman replied.
"Haan aaj bahana achchha hai aapke paas...Khair doodh dijiye"...Kavin said while forwarding the container in front of him.
The milkman poured milk in the container.
"Aaj phir patla doodh laaye hain...Aaj kal bahut doodh mein paani milate hain aap"...Kavin said while noticing the milk in his container.
"Baarish ka mausam hai na"...The milkman said while laughing anxiously.
"To kya hua...Baarish mein doodh mein paani milana chahiye"...Kavin asked in a little anger.
Milkman: Koun kambakht doodh mein paani milata hai sir...Wo to gaayein baarish mein idhar udhar ghoomti rehti hain to wo jo baarish ka paani hai na wo unke pet mein utar jaata hai...Phir doodh mein paani...
"Bas bas bhaiya...Aap aur aapke bahanein..."...Kavin said while interrupting him in the middle.
Abhijeet laughed after hearing their conversation. The milkman giggled slightly, he was about to leave but he stopped when he recalled something. He looked at Kavin.
Milkman: Sir jaane se pehle ek baar bhabhiji ke darshan ho jaate to achchha hota.
Kavin and Abhijeet became confused after hearing him.
"Bhabhiji...Koun bhabhiji?"...Kavin asked in confusion.
"Are aapki patni"...The milkman replied with a smile.
"Meri patni?"...Kavin whispered.
"Wo aapke padosi bata rahe the, unhone dekha tha unhe aapki balcony mein"...The milkman said while smiling.
Kavin (Pov): Padosi...Hmmm...Inko koi kaam dhandha nahin hai, din bhar mere hi balcony mein jhaankte rehte hain...Aur inka network...Inka network to Idea ke network se bhi jyada fast hai...Huh!...
"Kya hua sir?"...The milkman asked in confusion when he saw him lost in his thoughts.
"Kuchh nahin..."...Kavin replied.
Milkman: Achchha phir bhabhiji...
"Aapki bhabhiji apne mayake chali gayi"...Kavin said with a fake smile while interrupting him in the middle.
"Kyun?"...The milkman asked.
"Hamara jhagda ho gaya isliye...Are yaar aapko itni panchayat kyun hai"...Kavin said in irritation and closed the door.
"Lagta hai sir ki patni bhi meri patni jitni jhagdaloo hai...Tabhi inka mood itna kharab hai"...The milkman thought and left from there.
Kavin went into the kitchen and kept the container of milk. Then, he returned back into the hall and looked at Abhijeet who was already looking at him in confusion.
"Bataiye sir kya lenge chai ya coffee?..."...He asked to divert his questions.
Abhijeet understood that he was trying to divert his mind but he didn't ask anything regarding that.
"No, thanks Kavin...Main chalta hoon, mujhe Tarikaji ke saath kahin bahar jaana hai"...He said with a smile.
Kavin smiled and nodded. Abhijeet left for his home before wishing him success for his Nasik mission.
Next day, Kavin was getting ready for Ragini's function in the NGO. He was elegantly dressed up in a formal grey suit paired with a royal blue formal shirt beneath, a matching tie knotted neatly and a pair of classy formal shoes. He looked at his cell phone when he received a message.
"Oh my god! It's 8 PM...Main poore ek ghante late hoon, Ragini phir se naraaz ho jaayegi mujhse"...He murmured while wearing his wrist watch.
When he got ready he looked at his reflection in the mirror and then walked outside his house. He sat inside his car and drove for the NGO.
Kavin (Pov): Ragini aaj main tumhe apne dil ki baat batane wala hoon...Aur aaj main tumhe apni beeti hui zindagi ke baare mein bhi sab kuchh bata doonga...
He reached the NGO after sometime. He came out of his car and walked towards the entrance gate of the NGO. He took a deep breathe and went inside. Then, he walked towards the function hall. When he reached there he went inside and saw a number of guests. He found ACP Pradyuman and Nakul, he went and sat beside Nakul.
"Good evening sir"...He wished ACP Pradyuman with a smile.
"Good evening Kavin"...ACP Pradyuman wished him back with a smile and then looked at the stage again.
"Kavin tum ek ghanta late ho yaar"...Nakul complained.
Kavin: Are yaar main kaam mein busy tha isliye...
He stopped in the middle of his sentence when he heard clapping and hooting sounds of the guests. He realised that the anchor took Ragini's name; she was coming over the stage in a couple of minutes.
He looked at the stage and noticed the curtains till now. Slowly the curtains rose and he saw Ragini who was looking ravishingly beautiful in a greenish-blue gown made of soft, satiny fabric, long and loose, a semicircular, high collar made of silk-like materials headed the ankle-length robe. As the curtains rose, Ragini's heart accelerated a bit. Centre-stage, she was standing with her back arched and her hands stretched to the sky, as if in submission. The lights on the stage turned bright and the rhythm started to pulse into her. Her foot tapped to the steady beat. Back and forth, she swayed as the beat picked up pace. The curtains were swiftly rising now and her eyes scanned the mass of onlookers.

Tu aashiq hai main teri aashiqui
Tujhe milne ko dil karta hai
Tujhe milne ko dil karta hai o mere saajna
Her arms left her body as the music grew louder. Her eyes were drunk on fire and her lips kissed the threshold of liberty as she danced her inhibitions away. Kavin was staring at her with a smile without blinking his eyes for once, it seemed that she had knocked out the breathe from his body with her beauty and grace.

Tu aashiq hai main teri aashiqui
Ragini smiled when her gaze fell on Kavin. Her fingers clicked to the right and then to the left. Her elbows gracefully tore through the air, in perfect rhyme with her feet, which traced a curve that no menace could surpass. Then, her feet hit the floor. She was for herself on the stage.
(Teri har nazm tera har geet hai yaad mujhe) x2
Jab tak saans chalegi na bhoolungi main to tujhe
(Tere bina jeena nahin kha ke kasam kehti hoon) x2
Maine bina dekhe bina jaane tujhe dil de diya
Tu dhadkan hai main teri zindagi
As one arm was outstretched, her waist jerked outward vivaciously. The other arm followed suit with yet another jerk of her slim waist. There was nothing that could calm her tempestuous gale. Her feet explored her arena as she slid across with poise. She stopped at the end of the stage and then gazed at the mass of onlookers. Her face turned rosy red when she found Kavin staring at her while smiling.

Tujhe milne ko dil karta hai o mere saajna
She composed herself and continued dancing, the cadence was coursing through her veins. She electrified the air with her grace and bursted into flames with every bob of her head and every jiggle of her shoulders. Her breathtaking face didn't leave its enigmatic smile for any fraction of seconds as she broke into what could only be called an earthly manifestation of sacred grace.
Tu shayar hai main teri shayari
Tu aashiq hai main teri aashiqui
Sliding her right foot back and the other one forward, she dropped low so that her gown brushed the ground, then sprang back up again, in a couple of seconds. She threw her arms out and waved them from side to side, perfectly in tune with the beat, before jumping into the air. Her gown spun around her and for a moment it felt like she was flying, then the ground was beneath her again.
(Apni betaabi ka main kaise tujhse izhaar karoon) x2
Kaise batlaun tujhe jaan-e-jaana kitna main pyaar karoon
(Lab pe koi naam nahin tere siwa mere saajan) x2
Mere is dil pe tera hi nasha chha gaya
Tu deewana main teri deewangi
She was dancing gracefully while recalling the sweet little moments when she was with Kavin. Her feet were moving like the raging waters of a waterfall; swift and vibrant, and full of energy, her movements, while seemingly out of control, showed impeccable discipline and mastery over dance.

Tujhe milne ko dil karta hai
Tujhe milne ko dil karta hai o mere saajna
Now, as she gyrated on the stage and spinned around in fanatic circles, every jerk of her waist, every flick of her hair, every beat of her feet, every shrug of her shoulder beckoned to the mass of onlookers and said let her sparkle tonight.
Tu shayar hai main teri shayari
Tu aashiq hai main teri aashiqui
"Wow!"...Kavin uttered while looking at her while keeping his hand at his heart.
Ragini was smiling while looking at the mass of onlookers who were clapping and hooting for her magical performance. Then, she looked at ACP Pradyuman and Nakul and her eyes sparkled when they smiled proudly. She blushed furiously when she saw Kavin looking at her while keeping his hand at his heart. After sometime, she composed herself and went down the stage and did arrangements for the other performances.
After all the performances and other events of the NGO Ragini went outside the function hall with ACP Pradyuman, Nakul and Kavin. ACP Pradyuman went to meet Sunanda, the director of the NGO regarding fund donation while Kavin, Ragini and Nakul went towards the garden side of the NGO. Nakul looked at Ragini.
"You're fine na?"...He asked while draping a jacket over her shoulders.
Ragini nodded with a small smile while clutching the jacket. Kavin smiled after seeing their bond.
"Waise Ragini tumne Kavin ko itna bore kar diya ki wo tumse bachne ke liye Nasik jaa raha hai"...Nakul said while laughing.
Ragini looked at him and hit him on his arm.
"Are sahi kaha maine...Kyun Kavin?"...Nakul asked while looking at Kavin.
Ragini also looked at him, he nodded in no. Then, she looked at Nakul and showed him her thumb while laughing. He was about to speak something to her but he couldn't as he received a call.
"Jee papa..."...He replied after picking up the call.
Kavin and Ragini looked at him.
"Main aata hoon papa"...He said and hung up.
Then, he excused himself and went to the director's cabin leaving Kavin and Ragini alone in the garden. Kavin found it a good chance to confess his feelings to Ragini.
"Ragini"...He called her after taking a deep breathe.
Ragini looked at him.
"Ragini mujhe tumse kuchh kehna hai..."...Kavin said anxiously.
"Kahiye na...Kya kehna hai"...Ragini said with a smile.
Kavin: Ragini...Main...Tumse...Main tumse...Main tumko...
He stopped in the middle and sighed. Ragini looked at him in worry, she kept her hand on his shoulders. He suddenly felt a chill at his shoulder, which then transferred to his whole body. He got numb and trembled for a moment, but after a while he composed himself.
"Sab thik hai na Kavinji?"...Ragini asked worriedly.
Kavin removed her hand from his shoulder and held it. Ragini looked at him in worry and confusion.
"Kuchh bhi thik nahin hai Ragini...Main aankhen band karta hoon to tumhe dekhta hoon...Aankhen kholta hoon to tumhe dekhna chahta hoon...Tum paas nahin hoti ho to tumhe chaaron taraf mehsoos karta hoon...Har pal, har ghadi, har waqt"...Kavin blurted out his feelings in a single breathe.
Ragini understood what he meant. She was over the moon after hearing his words as she too had the same feelings. She was literally blushing but she composed herself and looked at him with a blank face.
"Kavinji main samjhi nahin aap kya kehna chahte hain"...She said innocently.
"Sach?"...Kavin asked her as he understood her intentions.
Ragini nodded her head in yes while suppressing her smile.
"Ragini log kehte hain khoobsurat ladkiyan jab jhoot bolti hain to aur bhi jyada khoobsurat lagti hain"...Kavin said as he caught her lie.
Ragini blushed and lowered her gaze.
"Humse jhooth bolkar sharma rahi hain kyun...Thodi bahut jhooth ki aadat sabhi ko hai"...Kavin said in a poetic tone after gently lifting her chin up to see her face.
Ragini looked at him and bit her lower lip in nervousness. Kavin smiled and moved close to her.
"I love you"...He uttered his feelings while tucking a lock of hair behind her ears.
Ragini's lips curved into a beautiful smile after hearing him. His confession was almost more happiness than she could take.
"Ragini madam..."...The watchman called. As soon as his voice reached their ears they stood a little away from each other and looked at the him anxiously.
"Jee bhaiya...Kya hua?"...Ragini asked while walking towards him.
"Aapke papa aapka car mein intezaar kar rahe hain"...The watchman told her.
"Thik hai...Unse kahiye main aa rahi hoon"...Ragini said with a smile.
The watchman nodded and walked from there. Ragini looked at Kavin and smiled, she was about to leave but he held her hand.
"Tumne mere proposal ka jawab nahin diya"...He said while moving close to her.
Ragini turned around him and looked at him. Kavin looked at her face and then gazed into her eyes and found himself being hypnotised by their honesty, warmth and most importantly the love that they reflected.
"Kavinji har baar pyaar ka izhar karna zaroori nahin hota...Kabhi kabhi honthon ka kaam aankhen kar deti hain"...Ragini replied with a sweet smile.
Kavin smiled after hearing her exquisite reply, she freed her hand from his and ran away from there while smiling.
"Baaki ki baat to reh hi gayi..."...He murmured to himself and sighed.
"Khud se kya baatein kar rahe ho Kavin?"...Nakul asked while tapping his shoulder from behind.
Kavin got startled. He turned back and looked at him.
"Tum kab aaye?"...He asked anxiously.
"Bas abhi abhi"...Nakul replied while signalling him to walk with him.
"Oh! Chalo phir milte hain..."...Kavin said while walking with him.
"Haan of course...All the best for your mission"...Nakul said while hugging him.
"Thanks yaar"...Kavin replied while hugging him back.
Nakul patted his back and separated from the hug. Kavin smiled and sat inside his car before bidding him bye. Nakul also walked towards his car and sat inside with ACP Pradyuman and Ragini. Soon they drove for their respective destinations.
Two days later,
It was late night. Since Nakul didn't come to pick her up from the NGO yet, so Ragini walked out of there and thought that she will find him in the way and will go home with him from there only. She was walking on the way to her home. Suddenly some goons came and stopped in front of her. She looked at them and tried to avoid them but they started following her.
"Kaisi ho Mrs. Kumar?"...One of them asked her from behind.
"Mrs. Kumar...Kahin ye wahi phone wala to nahin?"...Ragini murmured but she didn't turn back. She ignored them and continued walking.
"Waise itni raat gaye kahan se aa rahi ho jaaneman?"...The other one asked while laughing evilly.
Ragini stopped walking as his words woke her anger up. She turned back and looked at him.
"Tumhe pata nahin...Tum yahan khade ho aur tumhari maa ne doosri shaadi kar li hai...Wahin se aa rahi hoon"...She replied in anger.
"Kya boli tu"...The goon said in anger while moving close to her.
He was about to touch her face but someone held his hand and slapped him right on his cheek due to which he fell on the road. The other goons looked at the person.
"Oh ho tumhare patidev Mr. Kumar bhi hain tumhare saath"...One of them said while laughing.
Ragini became utterly surprised after hearing him; her heartbeat stopped and she stood frozen at her place.
