Disclaimer: I DON"T OWN HARRY POTTER. Also, some parts of this may remind you of the Miranda Flairgold trilogy. I am not doing this on purpose and am trying to move this book in other directions. HOWEVER, some of it may sound like her fics, again, not on purpose.

Harry woke up in a place he had never seen before. He was in a beautiful room decorated with multiple trinkets and other things. "Where am I?", he asked, mainly to himself.
"You are at my home."
Harry looked up and saw someone he had never met before. He was tall with dark and gray hair and silver eyes. "Who are you?"
"I am Cyrus Pendragon, a descendant of King Arthur."
"Am I dead?"
Cyrus chuckled, "No, you most definitely aren't."
"But... Voldemort, he killed me."
"No, he killed a replica of you."
"WHAT?"
"Your golem, Harry"
"What is a golem?" Harry decided not to ask how he knew his name, realizing most of the world had heard of "The-Boy-Who-Lived".
"A golem is basically an exact replica of yourself." "Very powerful people can create golems that contain their memories."
"How did I get a golem?"
"I made one out of your blood."
"How did you get my blood?"
"2nd year, you had blood remaining on the floor, never a good idea, the vampires can get to it." "I used the blood to create the golem."
"So... Voldemort killed my golem?"
"Yes."
"Can I create a golem?" asked the excited boy.
Cyrus laughed and said, "At your current state, definitely not." Seeing Harry's face, he quickly added, "But with the right training, you will be able to do so."
"But Voldemort thinks I'm dead right?" "So that means that I can do whatever I want now, right?"
"Well... it wouldn't be really safe to go back to Hogwarts, after all, there are still death eaters there, like young Malfoy."
"What about my friends?" Harry's mind was about to explode. Why was this stranger trying to convince him not to go back to the only place that he had friends and people who actually cared about him?
"Let me show you something."
Cyrus took Harry to an orb.
"This orb can show you certain parts of your future."
"Yeah- right."
"Watch."
Harry saw Ron and Hermione running away during the Horcrux hunt, and Ginny cheating on him (How they even started dating, he would never know). He saw Ron and Hermione betraying him. "There's no way they would do that, this has to be cursed."
Cyrus took out his wand, "I solemnly swear on my magic that everything you saw in there would be your future if you continued at Hogwarts." "Expecto Patronum." A silvery lion shot out of his wand and circled around him. "I can show you something else."
He called for a house elf. "Twinky, can you fetch me the portrait of Charles Potter?"
" Yes, Master," came the reply.
A few seconds later, Twinky came back with a portrait.
"This is your grandfather's portrait."
Harry was really excited to see his grandfather - painting or not. He was fascinated and started asking a lot of questions."How would I know if it's charmed or jinxed with?"
"I swear on my magic that this portrait has been toyed with." "Lumos," his wand brightening.
"Hello, grandfather."
"Ah- Hello, young Harry."
"How does he have your portrait?"
"He has it because I willed it to go to him."
"How did you guys meet?"
"I met him at the Seventh School of Magic, which I hope you will go to."
"Was it a great school?"
"Yes, the best in the world!"
" Do you trust Lord Pendragon?"
"With my life."
Cyrus butted in. "Charles, what would you say if I were to adopt him?"
"I would agree, although it is not really my choice."
"Ummmmm- what about Sirius," Harry asked with a voice full of anxiety.
"On the run- also, if you want him to live, don't get him into this."
"Grandfather, do you think I should get adopted?"
"I think it would be the best idea at this point, after all, you are going to the most prestigious magic school in the world."
"Fine." "Any other reasons?"
"Child protective services will take you, and put you somewhere to become the ministry's poster boy. Trust me you won't like that." "The other reason is that if you were to go to school with the last name Potter, the school's students might challenge you early to show dominance.
"The school's students will kill me?" came the confused and anxiety-ridden response.
"The students can challenge you, and with a Hogwarts education, you would be dead meat even before the first week is over." "Also, there will be magical creatures of all kinds, not just humans," Cyrus said.
"Hypothetically, if I were to agree, what would my new name be?"
"Hmm..." "I'm quite partial to my great-grandfather's name, Alexandros Pendragon"
"Alexandros Pendragon," repeated Harry. "Has a nice ring to it."
"So it's decided?" Cyrus asked, "Are you going to the Seventh School of Magic?"
"Can I have some time to think?" asked Harry.
"You have five minutes," said Cyrus as he quickly cast a Tempus spell.
Harry thought about the offer, he could go to a place where magical beings of all kinds could go. He would not only learn textbook magic but special types of magic as well. He could get stronger, to defeat Voldemort, and he could avenge his parent's death. His grandfather also agreed.
"Five minutes is up, what's your choice?" Cyrus asked. His grandfather was also looking quite intrigued for his answer.
"Fine," Harry said, albeit reluctantly.
"Well then, we will have to perform a blood ritual at Gringotts, how long do you need?"
"Umm, a few months would be great."

Gringotts, Britain, a few months later
Alex and Cyrus spent a few months bonding before going to Gringotts. It turned out that Cyrus was also an avid quidditch fan, and really good as a seeker, so the 2 of them had fun trying to beat each other. Of course, Harry won, but whether he was being let on was a whole other story. As the week was starting to end and the trip to Gringotts just around the corner, Harry was starting to accept, and even called Cyrus, his dad. He also accepted the fact that Sirius was dead, and he wasn't going to see him for quite some time. This didn't mean that Harry was completely over the fact that he was dead.
"Hello," Cyrus said politely "We would like to go to the secret vault of Pendragon, as well as a blood adoption," he said discreetly.
"May I have a drop of your blood?" the goblin asked.
"Of course," Cyrus said as he quickly cut his finger and dipped the blood into the basin.
The goblin looked at it and said, "Thank you, please follow me. As he led them into a tiny room, the goblin said "Please wait here, for Ibzald, the goblin for your vault to come here."
As they were waiting, Cyrus said "The vault is extremely big, and has a lot of cursed items, do not touch them." Seeing Harry's consent, he continued, "Right now we are going to blood adopt you, so you can go in the vault."
Five minutes later, Ibzald came into the room. "Hello, Knight Pendragon, what business are you here for?"
"The blood adoption of Harry Potter."
"Very well, Mr. Potter, could you step forward?" As Harry took a step forward, Ibzald said "Be ready this may hurt." The goblin muttered some foreign language, and Harry screamed in pain. A few seconds later, he was done with the ritual. "Now, because there are no more heirs of the Potter family, the Potters are now dead, and all of their vaults will be transferred into Pendragons vault." "Now follow me, I will show you to the vault."
As they were walking, Harry asked "So now I'm officially a Pendragon?"
"Yes, Alex," Cyrus said to him with a wry smile, causing Alexandros to sarcastically mutter something about "Gee, thanks dad," Alex said sarcastically.
"Here we are," the goblin said, as he led them into the vault. The vault was a majestic golden vault, with statues of lions on every wall, but the thing that piqued Alex's interest was the plain scabbard without its sword.
"Why is that scabbard empty?" Alex asked curiously.
"The Le Fays," Cyrus said with a bit of venom in his voice. "They assassinated King Arthur, and stole his sword, Excalibur."
"Why did they do that?"
"No one knows, besides them, but if you see one, don't hesitate to challenge him or her." "If, of course, you are powerful enough to beat him/her."
'"Where is it now?"
"Gone, we don't know where it is." Cyrus apparated them to a large, vast desert.
"Now we need you to get to school and meet the headmaster."
"Sure, father," pronouncing the word with sarcasm even Snape would be proud of.
Cyrus and Alex started walking. About 1 hour in, Alex saw a pyramid. "Is that the Great Pyramid?"
"Yes, and it is also where the Seventh School is located. Alex looked at him with a jaw wide open.
"Did they discover all of it?"
"Not yet, and if you discover something, like a room or library, all those things become yours, and you can even stay there and ward it so others cannot come."
"Cool!" "Are there traps and other stuff there?
"Yes, so I'd be careful."
"How big is it?"
"Quite large, but much bigger on the inside."
The two approached the pyramid, and Cyrus then took Alex and a long and twisted- almost maze-like- path until they reached a door. This door has embroidered with a rune, which Alex later learned to be Kaunaz- knowledge. Cyrus unlocked the door with his wand, and they walked inside and heard a powerful voice, "Welcome to the 7th School Of Magic, Lord and Heir Pendragon."
"Alex, this is headmaster Emrys, direct descendent of Merlin.
"Err- hello."
" A pleasure, Mr. Pendragon, or should I say, Mr. Potter?"
Alex stood there dumbstruck and Cyrus tried to hold his laughter in. "Pendragon will do fine."
" Very well, however, I have heard from a reliable source that you have had a Hogwarts education. "That will not do at all."
Alex glared at Cyrus.
Cyrus ignored the look Alex was giving him, and responded, "Yes, I will start a training regimen to help get him to ASOM standards.
"Great, I shall see you two again in 8 months when school starts."
-Line break-
The next eight months were basically torture for Alex. Each morning, he had to wake up extremely early to exercise and after that, he would learn about every branch of magic. He barely had any time to do anything fun. He had to do this every day of the week. Including the weekend. Every time he brought it up with Cyrus, he said "Do you want to go to the school or not?" So, Alex had to continue doing it. Each day he learned about something different. First, he learned the theory of blood magic, then after that, he learned soul magic, elemental magic, and muggle martial arts. It turned out that Cyrus was pretty skilled in Jiu-Jitsu, and multiple others, like Taekwondo and Karate. He studied and applied wandless magic. Cyrus even took him to get another wand, saying that the wand that he had originally bonded with would work differently now that he had changed so much. His new wand was 12 inches, made of a Nemean Lion tooth and Hungarian Horntail heartstring. Alex thought the second one was pretty ironic. The wand was a lot better and didn't have the tracking thing the ministry used to track underage magic, after all, they were not in Magical Britain now. They also found out that Dumbledore had put a tracking charm on the invisibility cloak. Thinking back, Alex realized that was how Dumbledore had found him while looking at the Mirror of Erised. He idly wondered what the mirror would show now.
-Time Skip- 8 months-
Alex walked to where to maze started, careful to avoid any traps. He heard a loud scream and turned to see a student getting devoured by what seemed to be a large bat. There was nothing he could do, as the student was already dead by the time he could even draw out his wand. He continued walking and nearly stepped into a hole with large spears jutting out from the ground. Others weren't so lucky. He eventually came to a dead-end, and a door slide open. The monster that stepped out was scarier than anything in the tournament. It was a serpopard. It had the head of a serpent and a body of a leopard. It was insanely fast and had a poisonous bite that could kill in seconds. Alex tried to stun it, to no avail. He started to walk backward and heard a voice say "You need help?"
He turned around and saw a tall vampire with long blond hair tied up in a ponytail and green eyes. He had his wand drawn out and ready to fight. "Yes, thank you."
"Hmmm... I read in a book that people with parseltongue can easily overtake a serpopard." "You can also just try to cut its head off the body. "The scales on its head are good for potions."
"I thought parseltongue was a bad thing." Alex was surprised that the vampire would be so casual about mentioning one of the most feared things in all of magical Britain.
"Nah- they used to teach that at the First School in Babylon." "Snake speakers are very rare, and they can use their magic to do amazing things."
"First School in Babylon?"
"Located at the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, before it was destroyed."
"Where is it now?"
"Gone, got destroyed with the Wonder."
"How did it get destroyed?"
"How about let's deal with the serpopard first."
Alex shrugged. "Sure." As Alex was about to use parseltongue on the beast, a girl shot forward with astonishing speed and chopped the serpopard.
"Who are you?" Alex asked.
"Me or the girl?" the vampire asked with a smirk.
"Both of you I guess."
"My name is Damien," the vampire said.
"My name is Selene," the girl said.
"Last names?" Alex asked.
"First off, you haven't said your name yet, and second off, last names are dangerous," Damien said.
"My name is Alexandros P-"
Alex was cut short when Damien interrupted "I don't want to hear your last name until we trust each other."
Suddenly, they heard a loud stomping noise and turned around to find a manticore near them.
It was destroyed quickly with the 3 of them teaming up- Selene with her sword, Damien with something vaguely resembling a dagger, and Alex with his wand.
"So... why are last names dangerous?'
Damien replied, "Last names can be used in certain very complex rituals and curses that will do terrible things to the person they are targeting, also people may judge a person based on their last name instead of their actual self."
"So... dark curses, right?"
Selene snorted, "There are no such things as dark curses- dark uses for them, yes, but dark curses, no."
"Why aren't you guys wearing robes?"
This time, Damien snorted, " First of all, robes are outdated as heck, and second of all, they limit mobility.
"Especially for duelists, like me," said Selene. "Why are you asking the question, you aren't wearing robes either."
"Errr- my dad told me not to." Alex was shocked. Cyrus was right! Magical Britain was actually really outdated. Even robes were outdated. He wouldn't be surprised if muggles knew of their existence too.
"I know you are very powerful, maybe as strong as Selene and me, but you need to know that Magical Britain is a really backward society." "We don't discriminate against anyone, well maybe if they are really weak, I could go suck their blood or something."
"Also, literally no one wears robes; not even Japan and they're right after you on the "world's most old and outdated magical society list," Selene added.
"Ok-2 questions; Number one, how did you know I was from Britain, and number 2, there's a "world's most old and outdated magical society list?"
Damien responded, "Your accent is very obvious- I'd recommend you to try to change that, I've heard that a Brazilian accent makes you sound more powerful, but I guess American works too." "Your choice!"
Then Selene jumped in, " Yes- there is a WMOOMS list, I believe the top 3 are Britain, Japan, then somewhere in Europe, where Durmstrang is, I think."
"What about Africa?"
Damien snorted, " Africa isn't outdated, it just practices different magic, tribal magic, I believe." "New Orleans is a place where a lot of voodoo magic is, and Taiwan and most south-east Asia practice some other type of magic- Technomancy, and in some places, sound magic I believe." "They also have tribal magic, and I've heard that monks in Tibet are famous for incorporating magic with martial arts."
"Huh, I didn't know that."
"Yeah it's very interesting, I have some books I can lend you if y-"
"Guys, we should really get moving, we need to get to the orientation part of the school by midnight, meaning we only have about 10 hours left."
"Oh sure mum," Damien said sarcastically in his best British accent. On the way, Damien and Selene started talking. "Have you discovered a specialty yet Selene?" Damien asked.
"Probably something to do with swords, so I might make my own spells, as there are no sword spells or they are lost to history."
"Mine will probably have something to do with warding and/or potions." "What about you Alex?"
"What do you mean by specialty?"
Damien rolled his eyes, "I mean like a type of magic you really want to focus on."
"How do I find one?"
"What do you like most in life?"
"I like magical creatures," Alex answered.
"So it will probably be something like beast-taming," Damien said.
"Or summoning, while summoning is extremely rare, it could be possible," Selene interjected.
- 69 minutes later -
They went to the orientation hall to find that they were the first to enter the room.
"Congratulations, you three are the first." "Now we will wait for the others to arrive." Alex looked around the surroundings. It was beautifully immaculate, with four stone golems that looked to be able to come to life. Beautifully designed walls and decorations.
"Hello, we aren't late are we?" Alex turned around to see a group consisting of two elves, a vampire, and a fae arrive.
"Hello, my name is Alex"
"I'm Damien"
"I'm Selene"
"What are your names?" Alex asked.
"I am Varith," the male elf said.
"I am Lyra," the female elf said.
"I am Sionia," the female fae said.
"And I am Persephone," the female vampire said.
"Congratulations, the seven of you for completing this task first, you will have the top floor of the dorms, a whole floor to the seven of you," the headmaster said. "Furthermore, there is a big library, private rooms, a training room, and blood wards to make sure no one unauthorized will come in, not even I can go in without permission." "Of course, you will have to activate the wards yourself." "You will also have access to an ordering kitchen, where anything you think upon will be served, whether blood or fine steak." This reminded Alex of the meal that happened during the Triwizard Tournament. "There is also a Fidelius Charm, so take a look," he said, as he showed them a piece of paper.
It said: The highest level is located at the Pyramid of Giza, only the top seven can enter.
"Here is the Portkey, and up you go."
The seven of them activated the portkey, and they vanished.
"They were the fastest ever that made it
AN: Thanks for reading! The next chapter won't be about them. As for the pairings, we have set up all the pairings. Things were a bit rushed (I'm new at this). Constructive criticism would be great. This will hopefully get better the more I do this. Also, the next 2-3 chapters will be about the history of magic in our world so, I hope you will continue reading. There may be some small mistakes, if you spot them, I will edit them. Thanks!
Please review and fav if you like it. I think we will update it every one to two weeks because of school.
