Disclaimer: Ah, you already know what it is. I don't own any Harry Potter characters or anything related to the Wizarding World, blah blah blah. Gosh, that makes me SAD.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 6: Sweet Moments

"Is the spell cast?" asked Dolohov, pacing in the small room.

"Yes," replied Rodolphus, a sly smile across his face.

"Are you sure it hit Potter?"

"Positive. The spell should work, Rabastan did it correctly. Right at the spot."

"Perfect. Now we can-"

The door to the small room creaked open. Rodolphus's brother, Rabastan, stepped inside.

"What did I miss, my dear death eaters?" Rabastan asked, fiddling with his wand between his fingers, a small evil grin upon his face.

"Just telling Dolohov of how you put the spell we needed on Potter. Excellent job, my brother," said Rodolphus, walking over to him.

"I understand that I was the one who did it. What does it do?"

"According to the research I have done on the spell, Potter should become weaker and weaker everyday, until he dies."

"Excellent," sneered Rabastan. "Finally, we can finish the job of the Dark Lord. His plan will be complete."

"When will Potter die?" asked Rodolphus,

"It depends," replied Dolohov, with the same amount of happiness in his voice. "I'm not entirely sure. It takes about a month. Now, my fellow Death Eaters, we must meet Yaxley in a few minutes. Let us get going."

Meanwhile, at Hogwarts…

Ginny woke with a start.

No, it wasn't a nightmare. At least, she didn't think so. But every few days she would wake up with this weird feeling that something bad was going to happen. But she pushed it aside and let it drift away.

Ginny looked at the time and saw that it was 2:36 AM. She sighed and rolled out of bed. She could never go back to sleep unless she was really, really tired. This definitely annoyed her parents when she was younger, as she sometimes woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare and often wandered to her parent's room. Since she could never fall asleep, her father was the one who would stay up with her and tell her stories until she grew sleepy.

As Ginny quietly walked out of the seventh year girl's dormitory, she missed the feeling of her father telling her muggle fairy tales at night. She missed almost everything when she was a child. But unfortunately, the past is the past.

Ginny tiptoed into the common room and was surprised to see that the fire was glowing and wasn't dead in ashes as it was a few hours ago. As she turned her head to peek at the big red couch to see who was there, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist from behind.

She didn't need to guess. She already knew the moment those arms touched her that it was Harry Potter.

Ginny let her head lean into his chest. She looked up at him and smiled softly. She could see those eyes, those amazing, green, emerald, sparkling eyes, holding a specific look in them that only ever appeared when he looked at her. Harry smiled back and held her tighter.

It was a few minutes of intense staring between each other, before Harry decided to spin her around and take the moment to kiss her.

Ginny giggled. "Harry, I haven't gone anywhere. You saw me just four hours ago. You don't need to kiss me as if I'm going away."

"I can kiss my girlfriend however I like, according to the boyfriend guidelines," he replied, a hint of mischief in his voice. "Section C, Paragraph A, Line 27."

Ginny laughed harder and tugged Harry to the couch. The couple sat down and pressed their foreheads together. It was then, Ginny realized, that no other boyfriend in existence, no other guy she has ever dated in her life, compared to Harry. He was perfect.

A few moments of comfortable silence passed until Ginny broke it saying, "I'm hungry right now."

Harry laughed and grinned. "You and you Weasleys, always about food. No matter what time of day."

"What can I say? Us redheaded Weasleys are hungry people."

"Should I summon Kreacher?"

"Yes please."

"Kreacher!"

Harry called it quietly enough so that nobody would hear him, but loud enough that the name could be heard.

A POP was heard and Kreacher appeared, wearing his usual outfit. He titled his head.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Master Potter?" Kreacher asked, and Ginny was surprised to hear it in a polite tone. The last time she interacted with Kreacher he told her… well, never mind.

"Yes, Kreacher. Can you get me and Ginny some cups of hot chocolate and a plate of soft cookies?"

Damn, Ginny thought. He can always know what I want.

"Of course, Master Potter. I will be back in a few moments."

When Kreacher Disapparated, Ginny turned to Harry.

"Isn't it a bit on the odd side to get hot chocolate in the middle of spring?"

"No, not particularly," replied Harry after some thought. "Hot chocolate is good at any time if you're in the mood."

"I disagree," said Ginny back. She giggled lightly as Harry put on a face of fake shock. "And anyways, when did Kreacher become so… polite?"

"Kreacher has changed a lot in the span of a few years," Harry said, scooting closer to Ginny and putting an arm around her. "But anyways. Did I get your request correct, for today's late night snack?"

"Yes, you did indeed, Mr. Potter," she replied. Ginny leaned her head on Harry's shoulder. "You always know what I want."

"I know I do," Harry said, placing a kiss on her forehead.

After that, they sat in more comfortable silence until Kreacher appeared with the hot chocolate and cookies. Harry and Ginny thanked Kreacher, and after he Disapparated continued to chat and laugh with each other. The couple began to grow sleepy until they were soon out cold, snuggled up against each other.

The sun began to break through the clouds at the break of dawn. It had only been a few hours ago when both Harry and Ginny were up in the common room late at night, sipping on hot chocolate.

Hermione came down the stairs, fully dressed, even though the sun was just beginning to creep through the clouds. Hermione was always a morning person, and she always woke up early, never needing an alarm clock. To Ron, her wonderful, wonderful boyfriend, waking up without an alarm of some sort was merely impossible.

She stepped into the common and planned to head to the library. Hermione knew that Ron would think this was insane. She could practically hear his response:

"'Mione, are you crazy? Going to the library at 7AM in the morning? Who would enthusiastically read something learning related this early? You know what, knowing you, that's something that'll be... fun."

But she loved the library in the morning. It was practically empty, and it was nice to browse around in the shelves of books without the atmosphere of stress for exams by students around her.

Hermione walked over to the table by the armchair near the fireplace to grab a hairclip, when she saw Harry and Ginny cozied up with each other on the couch. She smiled to herself and wondered what Ron would think. Oh well, she thought. And with that, Hermione left the common room, a happy grin on her face as she made her way to the Hogwarts library.

It was really late in the morning, Ginny realized, as she rubbed her eyes and slowly maneuvered her way out of her and Harry's night time position with each other. She opened her eyes slowly to see the sun shining through the windows and... Ron... reading a... book?

Ginny took a closer look and saw that, yes, Ron Weasley was indeed reading a book. Ginny genuinely had to think if her brain was working correctly today. She closed her eyes, opened them, and still saw Ron, reading a book.

She decided to speak.

"Good morning, Ron," Ginny said politely, yawning. She ruffled her hair, then faced her older brother. "Were you… watching us?"

"Well, er— not exactly. I just saw you guys there. Speaking of, why are you guys sleeping together? Hmm?"

"Relax, my dear brother. I'm of age."

"You're still my sister. No sleeping with any boys until you're thirty."

"C'mon Ron, be reasonable. I'm not going to wait until I'm thirty before I-"

At that moment, Harry woke up. He yawned and sat up.

"What're we talking about now?" he asked, pulling Ginny to him, as he noticed she had shifted away from him.

"We were talking about how you're sleeping with my sister, Potter," said Ron, putting his book aside. Ginny stared at it. She just still couldn't believe Ron was reading.

"Ron, give it a rest. It's too early for this," Harry replied, leaning his head into Ginny's.

"Too early? Mate, it's... 10:34."

"Wait, really?"

"Yes. You better both get going before they stop serving breakfast. C'mon, I'll go with you lot. Just in case." Ginny could see a sly smile on Ron's face as he got up and started walking to the portrait hole. She sat up and stretched her arms.

"Where's Hermione?" she asked, swiping some red locks out of her face.

"Went down to the library," replied Ron, waiting at the exit.

"Of course," said Harry and Ginny and unison. They smiled at each other.

"C'mon, you lazy arse, get up. Let's go have some breakfast," Ginny said, shaking Harry's arm, prying him off the couch.

"Alright, alright," said Harry. Ginny grabbed his arm and started to tug. But she stopped when Harry gasped and held his hand to his chest. A look of pain crossed his face as he squeezed his eyes shut.

In that sliver of time, Ginny had a memory flashback of a few weeks ago. When she was leaving Harry's room at St. Mungo's, she remembered Harry wincing with pain when she started to leave. It pained her heart to see Harry in any kind of pain. Her eyes widened with worry.

Ginny stopped tugging and fell to his side, in front of the couch. It was a quite uncomfortable position, but Ginny didn't mind at the moment.

"Harry, are you okay?" she asked, trying to keep her voice calm, as she rubbed Harry's hand gently.

It was a few moments of painful silence until the look of pain on Harry's face slowly disappeared. The Weasley siblings shot a matching look at each other from across the room. They had learned to do that with each other when they were little, in case the two of them wanted to hide a secret of theirs from the rest of the family. When they both looked at each other, they could read each other's expression:

Something is seriously wrong.

A/N: Yay! Finally updated. It's been a while since I last posted a chapter, it's been quite hectic with school and my family. This story is probably slowly going to be updated, not every week like I said before. So... yeah. Please, PLEASE review. I want to know what you guys think on this story. Normally I wouldn't beg for reviews, but I need to know what you guys think of my story so far. (It kind of sucks, I know.) And... oh yeah! I read this fic a while a go, I can't remember the title. I'm pretty sure the plot is that Ginny get cursed by Lucius Malfoy and fades away, then the trio and Dumbledore try to bring her back, and when she comes back she loses her memory... if anyone can find it for me, it would be greatly appreciated. So...please?

Anyways, ramble over. Have a good day, and stay safe, everyone!

Cheers, believeinmagic322 :D
