This is my attempt at a writing style I'm not completely used to. You can consider this practice in a sense. It'll still be serious and have some extra plot but I'm also trying to make it a little closer to a crack fic or at least something with more humor. (This has resulted in some minor 4th wall-breaking narration.) Let me know if I succeeded or how I can improve. Honestly, I just woke up this morning from a lucid dream and decided to write it out.

Warnings: Any swear words will be censored or changed. Characters may be a bit OOC, I'll try to keep them in character but I'm not the best at it. Absurdness. Anime-only watcher at the moment.

Disclaimer: I do not own RWBY or GATE: Thus The JSDF Fought There, they belong to Rooster Teeth/Monty Oum (RIP) and A-1 Pictures/Takumi Yanai.

When Gates, Bad-Luck, Protag-Powers, Cosmic Playthings, Magic, And Grimm Collide - Chapter Prologue

The day had gone very, very, Very wrong. It was a strange day to say the least.

It was on this day that Jaune Arc was reminded that he was and always will be a cosmic power's plaything. As well as the importance of landing strategies.

It was on this day that Qrow recalled once again why he hated his semblance, and also made note to never let Jaune Arc touch him again.

It was on this day that Pyrrha Nikos, the once Invincible Girl, learned how vulnerable she really was, and also how much she loves Jaune Arc.

It was on this day that Nora Valkyrie learned what happened when you supercharged dimensional portals with lightning. It was also on this day, Ren fainted.

It was on this day that Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao-Long learned they weren't the only trouble magnets.

It was on this day that Ozpin once again cursed the Brothers and learned that he has in-fact not experienced everything life has to offer. Also that he values his mug more than his life.

It was on this day that Cinder Fall learned that she does not always keep an ironically cool head.

It was on this day that the Twin Brother Gods learned even they could be surprised.

It was on this day that Remnant experienced a great loss without even knowing it.

Let's speed-run through the beginning shall we.

Jaune Arc and Ruby Rose decided to hang out in Vale for a leader's night out, considering they are both trouble magnets this was a very bad idea.

Well trouble found them or they found trouble, whichever you prefer, they accidentally stumbled upon the the evil-doings of one Cinder Fall and her "team-mates" Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black, from Team CMEN.

Of course they had to try to stop them. But both being leaders, even if they are both often very reckless and impulsive, they decided to contact their teams for backup.

Ruby and Yang's Uncle Qrow was visiting them at the moment, since he was in Vale, and Ozpin wasn't in his office, so when Yang got the message from her sister, Qrow tagged-along.

The reason Ozpin wasn't in his office was due to this very rare weekend day, being one where he had caught up on all his work and was actually able to partially relax for once, so he did. By going shopping for his favorite brand of Hot-Cocoa. So he was in Vale. Contrary to popular belief, he doesn't actually push all of his work onto his secretary/Vice-Headmistress, just a lot of it. If you were in his inner circle and asked him about it, he'd simply reply that he was preparing her to take his place; and not that he was just lazy.

But back to the catastrophe about to happen.

Jumped in to save the poor person about to apparently be burned to a crisp by the scary hot fire lady. As Jaune put it. Now, don't get him wrong he's lived with 8 girls most of his life, 7 sisters and one mother, so he's not exactly attracted to the scary hot fire lady, he knows better than to associate with crazy, but he's also not blind so he recognizes she's hot even if she is scary and apparently evil.

Now as for why Cinder Fall was doing "grunt work" in her words, was due to the fact that Roman and Neo both caught a terrible case of the flu and couldn't even get out of bed. Now normally she would have been fine being patient or even sending one of her own personal minions to do the job but the Ex-Huntsman they were after was due to leave Vale that day and she was feeling cramped in the Beacon dorms, so she decided to exercise ore freely by doing this task herself. Something she came to regret upon being caught by the leaders of the two best first-year teams in Beacon. Of course she could take them easily, but she was counting on their team-mates in her grand plan to cause havoc on the Vytal Festival, and this puts a wrench in her plans. Especially now that they've both seen her face, since Emerald could only affect one person at a time with her illusions hiding her face from them now would be pointless, so she'll have to kill them to be rid of witnesses.

Too bad for her, they both have absurd levels of protag-protection, Ruby's extends to others, and Jaune's only to himself, and would not just die so easily. You could pretend I choreographed an amazing fight scene where on the throws of battle Jaune and Ruby barely came out victorious over the half-maiden Cinder and her two assassin minions, but that would be a lie.

Instead what happened was after saving the person from being burnt to a crisp with the element of surprise, and Ruby's super-speed semblance, they angered the scary fire lady and her minions and lost the element of surprise, they quickly learned what the trio was actually capable of. Which was a lot more than what they showed in combat class. So they had to escape.

With Jaune's affirmation Ruby carried off the injured person to somewhere hidden and asked if they had aura so she wouldn't have to carry him all the way to the hospital, after getting his confirmation that she could safely leave him she went back to help Jaune. Who against three especially trained fighters really didn't stand a chance, but his aura was massive and his endurance was enough to be fine even after being flung a large distance by an ancient Deathstalker and hitting a tree right after unlocking his aura, so he was only badly beaten and on the verge of death and not yet dead when Ruby got back. He had a broken pipe and melted down garbage lid beside him.

Now you may be thinking that Ruby shouldn't have been able to escape with the injured person at all considering who their up against and you may have been right, but Jaune was lucky enough to choose to engage in combat with Emerald first, which meant she couldn't focus on putting an illusion up against the red rose reaper since she was focusing on Jaune, not that he knew her semblance, and Ruby was able to out-speed Mercury, as for Cinder, she was launching fireballs at both Ruby and Jaune, but Ruby dodged, Jaune managed to too but not as much.

In any case, Ruby did manage to escape with the injured person, send a quick message that they were in danger to her team and asking them to bring her and Jaune's weapons with them, went back for Jaune. She grabbed him, weaved through the literal firepower raining down on them and tried to run away.

Elsewhere, Qrow and Co had just made it into Vale as fast as they could. Nora actually launched herself into the city using a rocket locker. Pyrrha, carrying Crocea Mors in its sheath form, realizing that she may have been on to something also entered a rocket locker, set the coordinates to Jaune's scroll coordinates and launched herself. The rest followed their example. Ren entering Jaune's scroll coordinates and the remainder of Team RWBY entering Ruby's. Yang was also carrying her sister's Crescent Rose, which was surprisingly heavy but also lighter than it looked, Yang briefly wondered how her sister wielded this weapon not for the first time, but put those thoughts aside.

Qrow didn't have a rocket locker assigned to him anymore, since he was no longer a student, and he doubted he'd fit like the others, so he went to make his way down the old fashion way, with magic shapeshifting abilities.

Ozpin got a notification on his scroll of rocket lockers being launched into the main city of Vale, Teams JNPR and RWBY's lockers to be exact. Ozpin was suddenly getting a headache as he realized this was probably gonna end up as more paperwork. As the Headmaster of the Beacon Academy he had some extra privileges than the average scroll-user and used his scroll to check the coordinates of the launched lockers, finding them to be fairly near where he was. He took a sip of his mug full of his favorite hot-cocoa and almost spit out his beverage, but he didn't, can't waste perfectly good hot-cocoa after-all. With extra-privileges afforded by being the main person behind the creation of Vale, unknown to those outside of his inner circle, he had checked the security feeds of the street cameras near the location coordinates to see if he would be needed to assist, since he's already in the area and these are his best first year students.

On the security feed he was witnessing one Ruby Rose and one Jaune Arc running, or really one Ruby Rose running while carrying one nauseous looking Jaune Arc, from what looked to be members of Team CMEN from Haven trying to kill them, but what shocked him most was the infuriated and flying leader of Team CMEN launching fireballs, using obviously maiden powers, she also had a banana peel in her hair; Leonardo would have some explaining to do. So Ozpin made his way in the direction of the fight, err chase.

Ozpin while running immediately made to call Qrow, knowing he was at the academy with his niece, Yang Xiao-Long, and likely knows there's trouble.

A single ring later Qrow picked up. "Qrow. Are you aware of what your nieces are doing right now?"

"About that Oz. Were heading to Vale Proper right now, Rubes got herself into a fight with apparently some team from Haven."

"Yes, well, I just checked footage and the one she is up against is the Fall Maiden."

"... S**t. I'm going to hang up now, only one way to get there fast enough."

At Beacon Academy the usually somewhat drunk man nose dived off the Beacon cliffs facing the city, and transformed into a literal crow. But this was not the illusions of a drunk man, no this was the result of magic granted by a cursed-by-the-Gods immortal body-jumping wizard-warrior of old, also known as Professor Ozpin the Headmaster of Beacon Academy. It was by this same magic that the giant and heavy scythe that was on Qrow's person disappeared but will reappear when he turns into a human again.

If one had a particularly good eye and knew where to look they'd have spotted an aura-enhanced black bird flying way faster than it had any right to by nature.

By the time Qrow got to the city the rocket lockers were still flying over him, meaning he still had a way to go. He spotted a family van with dust being loaded into it beneath him, and a terrible idea formed. He transformed back into a human and stumbled around for a moment, as if he were fully drunk, that was a side-effect of using his aura in a bird's body, he was made dizzy for a couple of moments and his aura was a little more drained than it should've been. He moved to the parked van and commandeered it, since fighting the Maiden and her lackey's wasn't something the brats were ready for yet, and he wasn't confident he could protect them from up close with his semblance there to mess things up, his best bet was to get the van with a lot of space to the brats and help them run away while he fought the Maiden and her lackeys.

He kept cursing himself the whole way for not noticing sooner and hoping for his family and their friends to be safe. As he sped way past the speeding limits with the transport van towards his niece's coordinates.

Ozpin himself was on his way to the scene but also was running on foot. He tried to warn any citizen he came across as he was running that there was a fight in that direction and they should seek shelter or run away. Some listened but too many didn't, their fools but it wasn't like Ozpin could spare more effort in trying to convince each individual. Well he might be able to use his magic to force them to leave if t becomes a must but that is a last resort due to his diminishing magic power. Especially since he'll need his magic to go up against the false-Maiden.

They were both too late.

By the time Qrow got to the scene basically all the students were bruised, burnt or bleeding and auraless. The yellow haired one that reminded him of a mini-Taiyang for some reason, seemed to be conscious if only barely, oh that's the Arc symbol on his shield, that makes sense to how he's still conscious then. He called out to him as he made to stand, "Your Ruby's uncle right? Just take them and get out of here, I'll try to hold them off for as long as I can!"

He had to know that was pointless, by holding them off he obviously meant stall them for a few seconds with his death. But Qrow respected his resolve, he wouldn't really leave the kid but he'll grab the others first.

Qrow grabbed his nieces and the other kids, two at a time, roughly and threw them into the van's open door. Obviously none of them were in any condition to drive, so that meant he would have to be the one to do it. That'll go well.

Ruby was still conscious and it seemed she had some aura left in her, but he wasn't taking chances with the pipsqueak so he threw her into the van despite her protests.

Pyrrha Nikos was the only one in fighting condition, but even she was being worn down holding off the trio of them, the Arc kid was now standing and heading towards the Nikos girl slowly but on wobbly legs. Once again, the kid was suicidal but Qrow respected him. Qrow moved the Nikos girl, who tripped, out of the way of a blast of fire and hurriedly grabbed both the kids and tossed them into the van.

Considering the Nikos girl was still in a relatively good condition he tossed her into the drivers side and yelled, "Drive!"

"I can't!"

He went to deflect more blasts and fight back against the false-maiden and her lackeys, shooting at the three of them forcing them to take some movements back.

"Move!"

He jumped into the drivers side while Pyrrha went into the back.

Qrow pushed the gas pedal and for a very rare moment of his semblance not messing everything up, the car drove as was intended. Just in time too as a fireball just barely missed them.

Qrow pushed the speed as fast as it could go, he was heading in the direction of Ozpin's scroll. They continued to be fired upon however, now by fire arrows instead of constant fire blasts.

"All of you, try to recover your auras as much as you can like the monk kid there." Qrow commanded, referring to Ren, who was now awake, meditating to recover his aura as best as he could.

Jaune and the rest who were conscious which was everyone now, listened to Qrow's advice. Jaune happened to spot a weak lightning dust crystal in the door space of the van and handed it to Nora. He knew she could gain some strength back from using it.

She smiled and trying to sound as cheerful as she could exclaimed, "Thanks fearless leader!" She crushed the dust in her hands and felt the electricity arc its way through her, empowering her, and slightly restoring her aura.

None of them could really move though. The only ones who could besides Qrow were Pyrrha, Ruby, and Jaune, though barely.

When a corner of the van was burned off from a fire arrow hitting it, Pyrrha knew she couldn't just meditate to restore her aura when she was in better condition than the rest were, so she switched her weapon, Miló, to its rifle form and had her shield in front of her.

Jaune was worried about what she looked like was doing. "Pyr, what are you doing?"

In an overly cheerful tone that was probably meant to ease his nerves but did the opposite, she answered, "Don't worry Jaune, I'm just going to shoot at them from the sunroof so that they have a harder time burning all of us to cinders."

Jaune looked even more nervous now and went to voice his concerns but didn't get the chance to as Pyrrha looked conflicted for just a moment and did exactly as she said she would do. It was a major mistake as not even a minute after she started shooting at her pursuers, or well pursuer, since the only one actually capable of catching up with the speeding van was the flying fire woman. Unknown to Pyrrha she's lucky that the "flying fire woman" was only half a Maiden and didn't have full power otherwise none of them would have stood a chance.

However, unluckily, probably because Qrow is near her, Cinder's glass/fire arrow seemed to dissolve around her shield and pierce her chest. Just missing her heart but still puncturing her lung. *GASP*

Jaune immediately pulled her back into the van. He saw what happened and had tears stinging his eyes as blood covered his hand, her aura was shattered.

"No no no no no no no no no no... C'mon Pyrrha, you'll make it through this. I can't lose you. C'mon Pyrrha. C'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon."

Nora, Ren, Ruby, and everyone else was also wide eyed and panicked at Pyrrha's state and Nora began crying into Ren shoulder. Ruby was considering if she'd be able to run Pyrrha to a hospital in time and in her condition, she also felt an odd burning sensation building up behind her eyes, but contributed that to building tears.

Jaune didn't know exactly what happened, one moment he was having a panic, then came an idea, he'll give Pyrrha his aura. She always said he had a lot of it, and even if it takes every single last drop he has, if it trades his life for hers then he'll do it, without hesitation. He began to pour all of the aura he could, from the tiny amount he had left into her, but it wasn't enough, it didn't look like it was working. He kept on chanting "No no no no no , not like this, I can't lose you, c'mon c'mon..." like a mantra.

After what felt like an eternity to Jaune but was really only the barest of seconds, Jaune pulled more aura from a part of him he didn't know he had, and suddenly he was glowing bright white, to Pyrrha on the verge of dying from blood loss and feeling cold Jaune looked like an angel, an arc-angel. Yang would be proud. But really his soul barred out brightly, so much so it blinded the driver temporarily and he swerved, which was actually lucky as it caused Cinder's next shot to miss. Man, Qrow can't tell if he's having one of those allusive lucky days he's heard about or an unlucky one which seems more likely.

Jaune hidden reserve of aura came with the added affect of awakening his semblance as he kept pumping Pyrrha with every last bit of aura he could, which was seriously a lot. His bright white aura pooled over her flesh and healed her entire body of wounds as it turned darker and darker until it resembled Pyrrha's own black aura, however Jaune's semblance doesn't just heal as he'd come to learn, it overflows one's aura, heightens it's qualities, especially healing, and super-boosts their semblance to levels that are borderline near the level of pre-Remnant magic, in other words, superhuman by even huntsman standards.

Unfortunately, probably due to Qrow, Jaune wasn't done. He didn't turn off his semblance, as he didn't know that's what it was, but filled with relief and feeling a little dizzy put his hand on Qrow's shoulder. That's when everything went from the gutters to H*ll. Also Pyrrha's semblance that was just super boosted is polarity, or metal control.

Firstly due to everyone in a nearby radius either wearing or using metal, except for Cinder, they all go pulled into a dog-pile/ball on top of Pyrrha and Jaune. Jaune's semblance still active immediately fills everyone's aura gauges and then some, boosting their defensive, and healing capabilities, as well as their semblances.

Now at this point it's Qrow's bad luck semblance being boosted to superhuman levels vs Ruby and Jaune's protagonist luck. Although, Jaune's protagonist luck is strong, it only really protects himself and is a weird mix of good and bad. But Ruby's protagonist luck is true to any good-hearted super-powered Shonen character and affects everyone near her, which means it also tips Jaune's luck more to a good side. But then again they are versus the person who is now the unluckiest being on Remnant, competing with Milo Murphy himself. May the battle begin. May the odds be in their favor.

For Ozpin. He doesn't know how and he doesn't know when, but somehow, someway, he finally died and entered an afterlife, but it wasn't the good place. At least not if the Armageddon in front of him is real.

Ozpin's mind was simultaneously running miles per second while also completely lagging behind and stalling. He doesn't know where to begin, so he just begins by taking a sip of his precious mug, that a fly just flew into and a bird pooped in when he brought it up to his lips. He stops, wondering when exactly he took Qrow's semblance for himself.

Looking up again, he sees the sky is red, orange, and black. Filled with smokes, fires, and falling rocks. Towers and buildings are crumbling and deteriorating before his eyes.

"Is that a meteorite?"

Yes, yes it was. The ground was splitting and shaking. And because that was just an appetizer, a large gate with a pitch black inside formed right behind him in the middle of the road. Some Grimm rose from the ground. That's not even where Grimm come from! They come from the Grimm pools, black liquids formed by the God of Darkness!

His cane, which has a metal top by the way, in his left hand, his soiled mug of cocoa in his right.

"ROOOOOAAAARRRR."

Ozpin, hesitantly looked to the mountain range and saw a giant ancient Grimm Wyvern, that can create more Grimm awaken after millennia.

"Ah yes, Grimm come from that too. Well I lived a long life." A broken man stands before a gate. His aura up in response to all the danger around him.

"AHHHHH."

"Well that sounded like a war cry more than a scream of terror. Though there are plenty of those around too."

Ozpin turned around to face the gate that suddenly appeared, only to see an army emerging from the gate. They looked to be wearing armor reminiscent of ancient Mistral's more south-western parts. Similar to what Miss Nikos is themed after.

They were all standing still in shock it appeared. They were witnessing Armageddon too it seemed. So it was more likely real then. The one who made that war cry was near him and tried to cut him but really that weapon was so ancient and primitive it wouldn't even harm a grimm, it glanced off his aura, leaving him untouched.

The man stared at Ozpin terrified, as if he's never seen an aura before, dropped his weapon and ran back into the gate. Everyone of those men did.

A couple minutes after of Ozpin collecting his thoughts another group came out of the gate, this time there were wyverns with riders on them. They saw the Grimm wyvern and smartly chose to go back through.

The Grimm Wyvern seems to have decided on its target as it focused on something up the small slope of the road.

Ozpin stared up the road, it was on a slight ramp, it seemed as a ball of- was that Teams RWBY, JNPR, and Qrow? They seemed to have pressed against each-other as a giant ball of huntsmen and huntresses, ah correction, they were also being covered with arcs of electricity and looked like they couldn't care less about what is happening for some reason. Likely Lie Ren's semblance then, although usually that just masks emotions as far as he knew, not make people completely apathetic. They were also being chased by a driverless van, the false-maiden, and countless metal crates.

Ah, they were about to crash into him. Now what is an immortal cursed huntsman/headmaster/warrior/wizard so full of thousands of years of wisdom to do in such a situation? What were his survival instincts screaming at him to do? Well of course, it was to reinforce his mug with aura so that it wouldn't break.

Meanwhile in the perspective of the soldiers of the Empire.

It was He*l, no two ways about it. The Gate on Alnus hill this time opened a gate to the land of sinners. It became a Gate to He*l. A soldier tried to be brave, tried to conquer the new land anyways, it was a mistake. The denizen of that place, calmly watching everything, must have been a demon. It looked human, but it couldn't have been. It was invincible to the soldier's attack, the blade glanced off the thing and it didn't even flinch. The soldier dropped his weapon and ran, I as the commander wouldn't blame him. All the soldiers we brought through the Gate panicked and ran back to the Falmart Empire.

They have to be warned. Those on Alnus Hill have to be warned not to attack. That that world isn't worth trying to take over.

That the Gate needs to be sealed this time.

The soldiers warned them. Told them of the terror on the other side. Of the invincible demons that are there. They didn't want to listen, so they sent more powerful units through. Those soldiers came back terrified as well.

They claimed of a Giant Wyvern covered in dripping tar and white plates of bone. Of a terror so great that any who survived in that world would have to had been demons. The commanders of the army made a letter of their findings and sent it back to the Empire, praying to their Gods and Goddesses that whatever was on the other side this time wouldn't go through the Gate.

It was the end of times.

So back to Remnant now.

Remember that Giant Grimm Wyvern that bleeds Grimm through its perpetually melting flesh? Right, well that thing decided to focus on the absolute beacon of souls and aura in the city, surprisingly/not-surprisingly not Beacon Academy. Even if they should theoretically be masked due to having any emotions at the moment, that is majorly countered by the fact Grimm are also attracted to auras, and theirs are boosted to the nine. It is also why so many Grimm are ignoring citizens and heading straight towards them. Plus Qrow is unlucky.

Truly Jaune is the perfect tank/paladin. Complete with high defense, decent attack, amazing healing and support abilities, and of course the ability to taunt his enemies, the Grimm. A valiant knight for the ages.

Right, well as the Giant Wyvern not yet under Cinder's control due to this NOT being the plan, at least not so soon, targeted the ball of RWBY, JNPR, Qrow + Oz it was also charging straight for the Gate. The gate that is only 48 feet wide and not at all appreciative of the near 138 feet total wingspan of the Grimm Wyvern.

First that ball of Huntsmen and Huntresses traveled through the Gate.

Secondly, all the things following the them due to Pyrrha's magnetism traveled through the Gate.

Thirdly, Cinder collected herself in time and thus didn't fall into the Gate, though murdering that Arc boy is a matter of pride now. She still can't believe he managed to throw the contents of a garbage can onto her.

Fourthly, her collected state proved useless in that moment for tidal wave of really most of the Grimm in the city and shortly after, the Wyvern crashed into her launching herself and themselves through the Gate as well.

Fifthly, since the wing span and full on mass of the Grimm Wyvern didn't let more than it's snout through the gate that should have been the end of that, at least for the protagonists, but since this is an Aura Amped Qrow were talking about here, the Grimm got through another way. Remember that meteorite from earlier? Right well that crashed into the Gate and since part of the Grimm Wyvern was already in the Gate when it was destroyed, that interdimensional Gateway encompassed the Wyvern with it as it went poof.

Lastly, since the source of misfortune has left the dimension, and most of the Grimm followed them, the city of Vale overcame the rest fairly quickly by mobilizing all nearby Huntsmen and Huntresses to deal with the straggling Grimm. A team of specialists were assigned to deal with the apparent small Grimm pool spring under the city of Vale. The buildings stopped crumbling and the skies quickly cleared up that to a timely wind. The casualties were surprisingly low, with more injuries than deaths, once again only thanks to the fact all the Grimm were actively targeting the beacon of aura and misfortune, and thus ignoring any citizens who managed to hide themselves from sight. And since the meteorite was small it didn't cause too much damage to the city but still caused that legendary Grimm Wyvern from the myths to disappear.

It would be another sunny day in Vale soon enough, with higher and better security measures for something like this occurring again in the future.

Up above the world of Remnant two brothers watch the world with what would be surprised or bewildered expressions if they had such facial features.

"Hey Brother, what was that?"

"It seems to have been an unlikely mix of various absurd probabilities, magic, and possibly the work of another God from elsewhere."

"So what now? The key players in trying to save Remnant are no longer here. Should we try to get them back from wherever they are now?"

"That might take some time. Seeing as there was an outside force that interfered perhaps we could choose a new champion to combat the witch."

"I'll get to make that choice this time Brother."

"None of your worshippers are on the side of saving Remnant, Brother."

"There might be, they still have to live in the world after-all."

"How about a compromise, I'll choose the person but you can guide them as well as speak to them. You can choose how you help them as well."

"That hardly sounds fair seeing as you got to both choose and guide the wizard-knight."

"That's because you haven't shown interest in actually saving the world, they now call Remnant, before, so how can I be sure you'll choose a champion who wishes to actually save the world."

They quickly devolved into another fight as was common between them.

Well that's it for the prologue. It started as a writing style I'm not used to in the beginning, which was as soon as I woke up, and slowly devolved back into the style I'm used to writing as it went on, it is now later at night. Sorry about that.

I hope it's still interesting. I accept criticism, so do let me know any ways I could make this better.

Also, just a note for future chapters, I actually am still having the Gate open on Earth (Japan) as it does in the anime. That's the reason I had the Gate get destroyed or at least disappear from Remnant, so that it would still be able to make a reappearance on Earth. I will most likely do a time-skip next xhapter, but I might not.

Let me know if you guys want some small scenes at the end that show what's going on in Remnant without it's key players.
