Stunning ft. Harm Franklin by Curt Waters

*Chapter 205*

After a much needed pep talk between all three boys, they finally began to casually saunter their way back to their table. Amidst paying and tipping staff, and their mess quickly cleaned, they finally began to join Berri, Wren and Tatum at the pool table. A sleek, gorgeous billiards table crowned in velvet, almost-vanta black felt, the glossy dark wood was embellished with beautiful golden accents, and with the glisten of each playing ball, most of which were pocketed already, Turbo eyed the small crowd of three gathered in intellectual glowers of concentration. In the gentle approach of all three men into the bubble of the quiet conversing and small amount of bickering their three gems partook in, Turbo cocked an eyebrow and noticed Berri bend over a little, ready her pool cue and prepare to take an educated shot. In her hesitation, he noticed Berri bite her lip and potentially rethink her stance, her intentions, she shifted on her feet and nervously flicked her hair over her shoulder in a sharp tilt of her head. Turbo cutely stepped into her bubble, hovered behind her and to her side and coyly lifted her elbow a little.

"Angle the point of impact down, babe, you trying to hop that three ball, there?" Turbo wondered cutely, though he raised his eyebrows in gentle surprise the second Berri came to a full stand of straightened posture and volleyed her authoritative gaze up into Turbo's eyes.

"I was contemplating it," Berri chimed with a coy smile, a look of irritation she radiated, she tossed Turbo a cheeky side-eye after volleying her intimidating gaze about the group. She gently stamped the butt of the pool cue into the ground between her heels, held said cue with both hands, in a dainty tease, and shrugged her bare shoulders, "Why, you think you can show me how it's done?"

"Potentially," Turbo's deep, crackling voice reverberated against her skin, Berri glossed her eyes to Tatum, who stood closest to her; Tatum gently threw up her free hand and took a small step away.

"Do not get me involved in this," Tatum blurt a small laugh, though in the act of continuing to remove herself from Turbo's and Berri's playfully tumultuous bubble, she accidentally back-stepped into Theo's figure. With a jolt, she shifted on her feet, caught her balance and quickly whirled her attention up and to her left in cute, blushing embarrassment, "OH, Theo, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were there."

"Sorry, kinda... Snuck up," Theo chuckled as he held out his hand and prepared to steady Tatum's figure, and though she was quick on her heels and could handle herself, Theo immediately did what he could, to take Turbo's and Throttle's advice of being a safe space. He stood a bit straighter and so gently allowed his larger hand and fingertips to warmly grip the back of Tatum's upper arm, as if to steady her in her movement, "You okay?"

"I'm fine, thank you," Tatum eased sweetly, and with the feel of his touch that she seemingly had been secretively starved for all night, Theo was shocked to see such a positive reaction out of his very simple gesture; upon slowly removing his hand from her arm, Tatum lovingly swiped her dainty hand and palm down the broad of Theo's upper arm, all the way down his skin and in a lithe swipe past his wrist to final separation.

"You're welcome," Theo mumbled with a warm smile and a nod, and though his emerald eyes hooked to the few pool balls still hovered in glistening wait amidst the black felt, his heart began to thud; how quickly his little, gentle act of progression began to bear fruit had his head spinning. Theo inhaled a silent, shaky breath and, although Turbo and Berri continued to cutely bicker in playful agitation, Theo cocked an eyebrow and looked back down to Tatum in a further press of confidence, "You winning?"

"Oh, pshaw, yeah RIGHT," Tatum blurt with a wide smile, she swat her hand in Theo's direction and pivoted her body language to face him. She flashed him a lovely smile and shrugged her bare shoulders amidst the black straps of her soft dress, "I may be great with my hands, along the neck of a guitar, but when it comes to situations that require aiming, forget it. I'm crap. Like, don't ever play baseball with me."

"I'm sure you're great compared to any feeble attempt I could give," Theo gently waggled his fingers, putting emphasis on his larger hands; Tatum blurt a cute, knowing laugh of full understanding and shook her head. With said contagious laugher, Theo grinned and tapped his fingertips to the side of the pool cue she held, "You'd need a pool stick the size of a baseball bat in order for me to get anything done."

"Pool balls would just go FLYING across the place," Tatum teased, Theo grinned and allowed it as they easily fell into hard laughter, amidst each other. Tatum wildly flailed her arm outward and made a quiet, silly explosion sound with her mouth, though she finally settled in her cute laughter and grinning and, once again, lazily slid her hand to Theo's upper arm; it was here did Theo finally take note to just how many times she was coyly touching his arms in sly invitation.

"I'll be fine, thank you. If you'll excuse me," Berri chirped in sweet delight, though as she bent back over so to ready herself for said dreaded, difficult shot, her wide hip, as well as the side of her rear, bumped Turbo's hip into a small wobble; he raised his eyebrows, caught his footing, exhaled a silent chuckle of annoyed, teasing understanding and bobbed a nod of a challenge accepted.

Wren narrowed his eyes, and although remained motionless and patiently watched his two best friends delightful bicker amidst their fresh, sexual tension, Wren was surprised to see Turbo's lovely yellow eyes dip to that of a more marbled, silver glow. Certain he'd simply see the prince and princess drown in a mess of peachy, glowing, sexual tension, Wren firmly furrowed his eyebrows in hot delight and was floored to see such a prominent glow of silver splay the broad of Turbo's nose. Turbo grinned amidst the cute bite of his tongue, and although a gentleman at heart, everyone was well aware he was still Arcade's hugest bad guy. With teasing, scheming delight, Turbo did what he could to not obviously position his hips directly lined with Berri's rear, and with the shift of his feet so to remain innocently dubious in said act, he cocked an eyebrow and eyed her form in further understanding. With great cheek, his gentle, steady hand hovered under her right elbow, once more, and in a gentle shift to correct her form, Berri slowly came back up to a straightened stand and glowered down the frozen table in now seething irritation.

"You seem invested," Berri's velvety voice glossed Turbo's now innocently, cheeky look of dewy obliviousness. Turbo rubbed the back of his neck and inhaled a deep breath so to quietly disregard Berri's findings, though he firmly flinched the second Berri shoved the whole broad of the pool cue upright into the left side of Turbo's chest and shoulder. Berri lulled her eyes closed, daintily took a wide side-step out of Turbo's bubble and widely swung her arm out to the hovering pool table in mean delight. She grinned Turbo a cheeky look of pure, dripping sass and silently took note of the firm, silver glower of his boyish gaze, "The floor's ALL yours, my love."

"Dude," Wren warned with a higher lilt of sassy caution, he raised his eyebrows in exaggerated delight, looked down and to the side; Throttle choked a laugh as Tatum and Theo came back to the situation at hand.

"Uh oh," Throttle grunted as he crossed his arms and held his stance in such a way to prove relaxed distancing, "Silver is just as adamant about sticking around as red is."

"What does silver mean?" Wren wondered quietly to Throttle, both boys cutely caught eyes.

"Spike in testosterone, or competitiveness," Throttle volleyed warmly, he cocked an eyebrow and firmly eyed his younger brother; silver eyes that snaked about the pool table in frozen, dubious contemplation.

"I'll bet you he makes it," Tatum mumbled to Theo as Turbo inhaled a deep breath and began to put himself in the same position Berri was previously; bent over, elbow peaked, his silver eyes honed down the specific few glistening pool balls he was about to pocket.

"How much we talkin'?" Theo wondered dryly, he furrowed his brow and watched as Turbo's much more confident, intelligent stance proved that maybe Theo shouldn't be making bets against Arcade's most misunderstood wild card.

"I don't know... You win, I'll give you fifty bucks," Tatum chimed nonchalantly with a cute shrug, though in finishing her sleek ultimatum, her glistening, maroon colored eyes glossed up into Theo's shivering soul with such a swathe of easy confidence, "I win, you have to find a way to make it so we're not the 5th and 6th wheel, by the end of the night. Think you can handle it?"

Theo raised his eyebrows in firm surprise, though tried his hardest to remain cool. In the attempt to swallow the frog in his throat, allow himself to come out of his comfort zone, he inhaled a shaky breath and smoothly opened his palm in an invitation for a handshake, to eagerly seal the deal. Tatum's eyes swiftly stabbed into Theo's lovely, half moon gaze of cheeky warmth, underlying blips of allowed confidence she finally realized she was aiding in, and amidst the hover, Tatum cutely sagged her little hand into Theo's much larger palm and partook in a firm hand shake of a sealed bet. Now almost dreading the shot Turbo would be taking, a shot that held Theo's gain or loss, of this night, in tight proxy, everyone eagle eyed to Turbo's stance as he inhaled a deep breath and readied his aim. With a sudden pop, the white ball that Turbo hit eagerly bounced over the top of the three ball, clacked into the one he was aiming for and managed to pocket not just said hit ball, but two more in the process. Turbo did what he could to not allow his cocky smile to burst forth, he stood to a relaxed stand, lulled the pool cue in laziness and finally handed it back to Berri in a full swathe of pure, playful, seductive teasing.

"Old dog, new tricks," Turbo's velvety voice pressed in innocent delight as Berri did what she could to keep her jaw from hitting the ground. As she daintily received the pool cue from Turbo, his bright, silver gaze stabbed to his big brother in challenge as he pointed, "You, me, ping-pong."

"Say no more," Throttle chirped in eager delight as he rubbed his hands together, both men began to remove themselves from the billiards table, though Wren, Berri and Theo flinched as Tatum's energy matched theirs.

"I play winner!" Tatum chimed, though she shot Theo a sassy, teasing smile as she, too, handed him her pool cue. She gingerly tapped the backs of his knuckles as he confusedly gripped said pool cue, "I guess I'll be seeing you later tonight, then?"

Theo huffed a shaky breath, and before he could confidently assure her that he'd somehow find the balls to follow through with their lightning-speed bet, Tatum flashed him a snarky smirk and began to saunter away with both Turbo and Throttle. Berri, Wren and Theo remained hovered in frozen uncertainty for a whopping ten seconds of solid silence, though before their surroundings could make their ears ring with the deafening silence amidst their group, Wren finally burst out in soft, knowing laughter.

"Okay, so... It's clear ALL of us are getting some, tonight," Wren choked a hard laugh, and though Berri rubbed her brow in blushing irritation, Theo exhaled a trembling breath and firmly peered to where Tatum, Turbo and Throttle had laid off to. Maybe about two dozen feet off, he could see the three through the thin crowd quietly converse amongst each other whilst preparing their paddles and the like. Theo's eyes remained lost on Tatum's figure, though Wren's sharp voice popped his bubble, "Y'glad she only lives one floor below you, Ted?"

"No," Theo choked a shaky laugh and peered to Wren in smiling desperation, "That makes my life far too easy and far too difficult."
