For as long as Haruno Sakura could remember, she wanted to be a pre-school teacher. No matter what her parents, teachers or tutors said the young lady stood firm in what career she chose when she was young.

She loved kids. Sakura loved their laughter, their tiny presence, the endless giggles .. hell Huruno even liked their mischievous behavior!

As a young girl who was brought up in a family of doctors, it was very peculiar that she hadn't chosen to be a neurosurgeon or cardiothoracic surgeon. She often shakes her head when she remembers her parents' reaction to what they called the 'terrible news'. Mebuki gave her the silent treatment for days, never looking her in the eye. Her father, however, begged her to consider pediatrics with tears running down his cheeks.

For a no-sense intelligent family, they sure loved theatrics. She often thought they should join the circus or that she should've chosen to study theatre, she shuddered at the thought. "Mother would probably put a hit out on me", she giggled to herself as she rolled her eyes. Sakura started to clean her makeshift office, organizing her planned activities for the new school term. In this process, she accidentally dropped a paper and proceed to bend and pick it up. In her preparation she forgot all about her new student that would be joining her class, he was an entire semester late and so she had to be careful that he felt comfortable considering he was entering a class full of somewhat established friendships.

"Ethan Uchiha", she read aloud. His first name wasn't very Japanese but his last name and photo easily told his ethnicity. He had really dark hair and dark eyes, Sakura could only hope that he wasn't a tantrum child. The teacher had spent a lot of time working on the behavior of some of her current students and she knew the effect a new one could have on everyone's progress. Still, though, she was an optimist and her final thought was that no child that cute could that bad.

Even if he was though, Haruno was positive she could handle it. She marked her calendar as she remembered that she was to have a meeting with this little one's parents. Konoha's private elementary had a way of keeping her in close contact with her students' parents. It was a private school, after all, these parents were paying thousands a term as well as donating millions to the school. So of course they'd work the few teachers they had like dogs so they could keep their riches.

Sakura looked at the young boy's photo one last time before she cleaned up her office space. She had no idea of the impact that young Uchiha would have on her life.

Sasuke Uchiha released a little exasperated sigh as he finally got a chance to lay on his bed. He looked up at his wall clock and felt even more tired as he saw it was 11:45 PM. Sasuke had a ton of work to do but something at home always seemed to keep him away from the office. Any normal person would say the young father worked too much but to him, it was never enough. He never thought it would be this hard, hell being a single father was hard enough on its own but when you throw in a multi-billion dollar corporation life could feel like hell.

He had so much to do. The more important things included meeting with the Hyuga Corporation as he needed to secure a partnership with them and meeting with the department of the environment and energy to discuss the possibility of creating a new plant for his company.

The young man also needed to take Ethan to school tomorrow. His day to day with Ethan made work seem so much easier and less stressful in comparison. The Uchiha thought about the new school and hoped it'd be good for him. His son never seemed to like school too much and never really got along with the kids, the reason behind this was a mystery however because admittedly Ethan was the sweetest kid Sasuke ever met. He was sure the young boy would hold that title forever.

He'd just put Ethan to bed earlier and was admittedly worried about him. Sasuke cursed himself often as he was sure his son inherited his social skills or lack thereof. He was a good father and Ethan loved him very much, but Sasuke often failed to see this, usually acknowledging his weaknesses rather than strengths.

He couldn't even find a good nanny for Ethan. Ethan either didn't like the lady or Sasuke detected some sort of hidden agenda rather than a genuine concern for his son. He remembered the time he caught a young somewhat ambitious lady telling his then 3-year-old son to call her 'Mommy'. Sasuke cringed at the thought, he fired her ass so fast and became 20 times more protective about who spent time with Ethan.

He knew Ethan needed a mother figure but he knew no such woman he could confidently trust with the job. He would be lying if he said this didn't depress him a little. Sasuke desperately wanted to give Ethan a childhood that was the complete opposite to his, with a lot of love and laughter but he could feel himself failing. And here he was with Ethan having no mother and being a bit troubled.

Sasuke closed his eyes as all his contemplating made him very tired. He fell asleep with his last thoughts being about Ethan and his transition to his new school.

I'd appreciate feedback on this as it's an idea I've had in my mind for a very long time. My chapters will be longer and I will definitely update 2-3 times a week whenever I can. I promise it will be more comedic in the upcoming chapters! Please review and tell me what you think !
