Awesome Stories May Occur : Hey! I missed you! Thank you SO MUCH for reaching out. I'm okay, I went to the doctors and have an EKG and cardiologist appointment set up, so we'll see. My doctor said nothing seemed abnormal and chalked it up to anxiety, which I have a huge amount of. I'm okay for now. Thank you! As for your question about Berri, it's usually a LOT of fun for me to write for my girly characters, because although I, myself, am a tomboy, I DO have my girly moments, and writing about my girly-girls really helps me get that out of my system. So, it is 'different' but it is a lot of fun! It's harder to write for, but yeah. A ton of fun. I kind of live vicariously through these girls. As for Turbo's and Berri's relationship, I really try to make every single relationship in my story, as real and raw as possible. Even in marriage, nothing is peachy. I'm glad that's obvious, and I wanted it to be clear that Turbo, indeed, had a breaking point. His kryptonite is his loved ones, and I'm glad that was obvious! As for the sketch dump, YES I will be doing the sketchdump likely over my winter break! And yes you can absolutely send me stuff. I won't be able to get back to you immediately, due to school, but I can definitely take a look :) And yes! Cory and I are great. He's currently in school to get his license for phlebotomy, and will then move on to radiology. So it's been fun being in school with him. I also don't post any sketches to IG, I try to keep the aesthetic clean and polished. Sketches would probably go in my WIP highlights, so who knows, I'll try and post there more often. Usually sketches get lumped to my FB. I really appreciate your kind words, truly. I hope you're doing well!

And, no! Turbo never has ever said 'rawr', in accordance to the painting I posted online hahaha. It was just a joke, on my part. As I was drawing it, I imagined him saying rawr. If you guys find it funny enough, I can try to incorporate that into the story if you'd really want. It'd be a little out of character for him, that's why I opted for him to just simply let a deep growl come from his throat, in that chapter where he and Berri were walking on the beach lol!

Snake557 : Thank you so much! I appreciate it. As for colors that don't mix, I just pick whatever color I'd deem to be closest, or whatever that color would look like :) I'm grateful for your support! I'm doing okay, just trucking along.

Lyssdoodle : Thank you so much, no worries at all. I appreciate your kind words!

A/N : Hey guys! Again, sorry for the shorter chapter. As what I assumed, the closer I get to the end of my semester, the more work there is/the more stressed I get, obviously lol. I have a MONTH off for winter break, before my spring semester of school, so I'm hoping to actually FINISH OOTB and... *drumroll* reveal and begin my FIFTH story, in which I have yet to name-drop. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do that sometime here soon, but I wanted to do so in such a way that coincides with me finishing the cover art. I'm about half way done, we should be close to it being revealed!

Thanks for your patience and your support guys! I wanted to add different scenes with different characters to this chapter, like I usually do, but it was just too precious for me to add any other noise to it. This is a very special chapter to me, not only because it involves Wren and Throttle, my very first gay-babes, but alsooooo... A very real amount of foreshadowing that I hope everyone catches on to :D :D :D :D :D

ENJOY!

*Chapter 240*

"Hey babes," Tafftya chimed cutely as she sagged her phone to her ear, in which she swiftly tucked secure between her jaw and shoulder, "What's up?"

"Mom, can I come over real quick? I need to talk to you and dad in person," Wren mumbled, as if he was in a rush, he sounded as if he was hurriedly walking somewhere.

"Sure, bub, I'll unlock the door," Taffyta mumbled, she quickly cleaned her hands on a nearby dish rag and properly held her phone to her ear. She tossed her gaze across her's and Rancis's glorious, warm home and took note that Rancis was lazily sprawled on the couch, watching television. She sauntered around the corner, out of the kitchen and to their larger front door. Upon reaching for the lock, she continued on, "Is everything okay?"

"I mean, I guess, I just need advice," Wren mumbled, though it was here did Taffyta firmly furrow her eyebrows upon hearing Wren's lovely, deep, masculine voice grumble through the thicker wood of their front door. Taffyta slowly yanked the door open and revealed Wren standing still in her outdoor foyer, he sagged his phone from his ear and ended his and Taffyta's phone call, "I just need to know if I'm going crazy or not."

"Well, yes, you are," Taffyta bobbed a nod and sagged her phone into the lazy, tattered pocket of her very used apron. She scrunched her shoulders and playfully began to close her front door on Wren, "Goodnight!"

"I smell baked goods, let me in," Wren barked quietly as he urgently pushed past Taffyta's and Rancis's front door, a place he was raised in, a place he would call home no matter what; Taffyta giggled and softly shut and locked the door behind him as they began to saunter out of the dim inner foyer of their front door area, and into the brighter, glossier kitchen full of shiny appliances and countertops galore, the perfect kitchen for all the constant baking Taffyta was doing. Wren ogled the baking mess that his mother was lost in, delectable frostings she had made from scratch, the aroma of warm, doughy baked goods in the process of baking, Wren inhaled a deep, thick breath and finally eyed his father as he grunted to a stand, from the living room, "Dad, seriously, HOW are you just able to sit there and wait for these to all be done?"

"Years of practice, my guy," Rancis's voice grumbled, he ruffled his messy, dirty blonde hair and made his way into the kitchen with Taffyta and Wren. Taffyta quickly continued to get back to work whisking in a big, shiny mixing bowl, Rancis stood on the opposite side of their sprawling kitchen island, dead in the center of their hub of a kitchen, whilst Wren stood at the head of the island looking as if he was due to start pacing in his spot. Rancis cocked an eyebrow and gave Wren a cute, curious little smirk of mild annoyance, "You, uh... You okay? It's been a hot minute since you nearly wrecked down our door, like this."

"I've even so much as texted you, the other week, that I was baking, and you took eons to come over," Taffyta muttered.

"I think Throttle came over faster," Rancis added, Wren covered his face in grippy, groaning agitation and inhaled to try to get a word in, though was swiftly interrupted.

"It was Orph AND Throttle, our own coded children couldn't've given two shits," Taffyta exhaled a sharp little laugh and continued to strong-arm the mixture in her care with a small grunt.

"Dad, I want you to take me to the taffy trees," Wren finally blurt as he ripped his hands from his face and peered hard into his dad's eyes, stunned facial expressions that halted every single last movement in the kitchen. Wren huffed a shaky chuckle and now began to pace in a haphazard little circle of aimless energy, he wildly gestured his arms, "I-I keep waiting for that man to propose to me but I've had enough, I'm tired of waiting, I'm an equal part of this, I can propose too, right?"

Rancis huffed a silent, shaky laugh and allowed his demeanor to show a true beam of glowing sunshine, excited notions that now began to set forth, he cutely brought his eyes to Taffyta's and wasn't surprised to see her beacon of a glowing expression become more and more dramatic and outwardly excited. Wren hurriedly carried on before either of his parents could put in their two cents.

"I-I have NO clue what it'll entail, I know that I'll probably shit a brick and hate my life getting that User forsaken bark, I've already crawled all over Orph for information," Wren heaved a shaky sigh and held his forehead, his straight, sheet-white hair haphazardly splayed the smooth, shaved side of his skull as his skin began to flush, "I just... The ENTIRE two weeks of vacation, the only thing Throttle and I talked about were... I-I don't know, honeymoon spots, wedding rings... Babies, for User's sakes, BABIES. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd ever like... WANT any of those things. WITH someone, nonetheless."

"Yeah, loves makes you koo-koo," Taffyta blurt with a giggle, to which Rancis furrowed his grizzled look of cheeky disgruntled delight towards her.

"I don't care how it has to happen, dad, I need to be taken to those trees," Wren huffed, his voice shook, he looked alive with a thousand suns, ready to pounce on an opportunity he was secretly tired of waiting for, and it was here did Rancis gesture his hand and flex his core to push off from his lean on the counter's edge.

"Let's go," Rancis chirped cutely, to which Wren and Taffyta both raised their eyebrows in hot surprise.

"...N-Now?" Wren's voice wavered in cheery, terrified delight, to which Rancis shrugged and looked about with a cute grin.

"Well, yeah! You seem amped, why sit and stew on it any longer?" Rancis cued, to which Taffyta eased a long coo of cute, excited knowing.

"My babe," Taffyta cried cutely as she dusted her hands on her apron and held her cheeks, and though she wanted to round the island and yank Wren into a huge hug, she hesitated with the sudden spike of adrenaline set upon the place.

"H-Holy shit, I-I... I need to get changed, I need to... Use the bathroom," Wren's voice trembled, he began to look as if he was due to leaving, as sudden and tornado-like as his gained presence already was.

"Yeah, get everything out of your body now, Orph threw up after his adventure into the taffy trees," Rancis muttered through his teeth as he bugged his eyes and looked off. He finally approached his son and gave him a good, loving pat on the shoulder, alongside a jostle to get his feet moving, "C'mon. Keep that energy, lets go get you that ring. Meet back here in a half an hour and we'll go out, yeah?"

"Thanks, dad," Wren bobbed a nod and hovered in his father's touch, though after a moment, he finally beamed a grin of trembling, anticipating delight and felt his feet finally begin to move, "H-Holy shit, I'm so scared."

"You have every right to feel that way, it's not all sunshine and rainbows," Rancis grunted as Wren finally scooped his mom into a big hug, one she had been silently itching for, and upon a cute little twirl he had successfully deployed in the sweep off of Taffyta's feet, Wren quickly set her back down and pushed to the corridor of their front door. Rancis called after his son with a bit of a louder, hurried voice, "Y'better not chicken out, my guy, thirty-one minutes and I'll find your ass."

"I'll be here, I'll be here I promise," Wren rushed quickly, and in a swift swing and a shut, Wren was gone, as quickly as he had arrived; Rancis sagged his shoulders and beamed Taffyta a cute little smile.

"Welp..." Rancis chirped, Taffyta slowly moved to Rancis side of the island and sagged into his strong, loving embrace. Rancis heaved a shaky sigh over her head and grinned, "Looks like both our kids are snatched up."

"C'mon, think of it as adding to the clan," Taffyta mumbled warmly into his chest, she gripped her arms about his center and smiled into his throat, "At least THIS one wants to quell your baby fever."

"Yeah, cause a certain someone won't," Rancis grumbled, only a teasing notion of love the two understood was harmless. The two jostled as Taffyta playfully swat at Rancis's side, though he furrowed his brow as his sweat's pocket buzzed with the notion of a text message.

"It's probably Wren backing out," Taffyta mumbled in defeat as she leaned out of Rancis's embrace and allowed him to pull his phone from his pocket, which was now continuing to vibrate. Taffyta furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as Rancis let out a chuckle, "What, who is it?"

"It's Throttle," Rancis shook his head and bugged his eyes as he prepared to answer Throttle's phone call, "I told him you were baking. I wouldn't've had I known Wren was going to be over asking about taffy bark... Hey Tee, sup."

"Hey, baking beacon, incoming," Throttle mumbled, to which Rancis choked a laugh and hugely rolled his eyes.

"Doors open," Rancis grumbled, and upon preparing to hang up the call, Throttle staggered a small notion of continuation.

"You, uh... You and Taffyta alone?" Throttle wondered cutely, though he had a strange tremble in his tone, something Rancis now froze to; he raised his eyebrows in prickled surprise and stabbed his curious eyes tight to Taffyta's as he cautiously answered Throttle, knowing full well that his words, without context, would cue Taffyta to just what was going on.

"Yeah, Taff and I are alone," Rancis chimed, to which Taffyta now bugged her eyes in frozen surprise and shook her head in hot, grinning confusion.

"Awesome, I need to speak to you both," Throttle eased warmly, he did whatever he could to sound collected, "I'll be over in a sec, is that okay?"

"Yeah man, we're here gettin' fat," Rancis grumbled as he eyed the still-cooling rack of bare cupcakes which was carefully off to the side.

"Wait for me," Throttle urged with a chuckle, and as both boys said their nonchalant goodbye's, Rancis sagged his phone back into his pocket and gave Taffyta a look as if he was a deer in headlights.

"WELP. It's taken me this long to understand that two men would be vying for that taffy bark, at the same time, for the other man's hand," Rancis bugged his eyes and aimlessly looked off, "So now, not only do we have to pretend Wren isn't in on ANY of this, but we ALSO have to play dumb. Like entirely."

"Shouldn't be too hard for you," Taffyta sneakily muttered with a giggle, though before Rancis's gaping expression could playfully retort, their front door could be heard opening. Taffyta raised her eyebrows, looked back into the bowl she was continuing to mix in a strong-arming motion, though she threw her voice over her shoulder in quick succession, "Get in here, ghosty, before I eat it all!"

"That's not even fair," Throttle mumbled cutely as he welcomed himself inside; although Throttle felt comfortable and a part of the family, this whole notion was heightened due to the raw fact that he had Wren's outgoing, bubbly coding. Throttle's demeanor was still, collected and patient, though Rancis could tell the undersides of his skin held that sunny, explosive glow of hyper tendencies, something Wren was quite literally born with. Throttle wore a cozy black t-shirt and grey sweats, his jet-black hair was tidy atop his head, though gaining length and just barely razored over his eyebrows. He cutely bobbed Rancis a hello-nod and sauntered up to Taffyta's side, and in a swing, he lazily hooked his longer, gangly arm about Taffyta's much shorter disposition and shoulders and looked into the bowl of mixture she continued to beat, "Okay, so, what number batch is this? Can this one have my name on it?"

"It's batch number 'NO'," Taffyta stabbed with a wide grin as she pressed on, though was now draped in Throttle's caring, dainty little hover of a side-hug.

"Be grateful I haven't texted Orph yet," Rancis rubbed his face, he already felt the exhaustion of this evening, though he sagged his hands into his pockets and gave the endearing sight, of Taffyta and Throttle, a cute ogle of sweetness as he carried on, "I figured since last time you were robbed, I'd give you a head start this time."

"You're the best," Throttle huffed with a grateful smile into Rancis's eyes, across the way, though he sagged and tenderly unhanded Taffyta in a soft, downswing of preparing to touch on something more sensitive, "As much as I appreciate the head start strictly for gorging myself with Taffyta's baking, I... I genuinely do need to speak with you, in which I'm glad we're alone."

"Yeah? What's going on?" Rancis gently wondered, he did absolutely everything in his power to somehow puppeteer this whole ordeal, the raw fact that Throttle only had a half an hour to stay, without his knowledge, Rancis furrowed his eyebrows and was certain he could come up with some kind of excuse to boot him out of the house before Wren showed back up.

"Well, I... I've been talking with Wren, and over the course of our vacation, the topic of marriage, and everything alongside that, kept coming up," Throttle started cautiously, though Taffyta had to pretend as if this was brand new information to her. She stopped what she was doing, in which caught Throttle's attention. Rancis raised his eyebrows in cute, impressive delight, the genuine show of excitement on Taffyta's face truly looked as if she was just now hearing all of this for the very first time; Rancis knew he had to quickly play along, as well, and as Throttle brought his confident, glowing white eye contact tight to Rancis's, his deep, trembling voice carried on, "I'd like your permission to marry Wren. I-I know that... Entails being taken to the taffy trees, but... I'm ready."

"Aww, Tee!" Taffyta cried in grinning delight, and though she couldn't seem to find the opportunity to do so with Wren's adrenaline-soaked presence, she was successful in wrangling Throttle into a big hug. Throttle grinned and bent down a little to snug her into a tight squeeze, in which they both swayed a little as Taffyta pat and rubbed his upper back, "We'd be HONORED to officially have you apart of the family."

"That's huge," Rancis agreed cutely, to which he bobbed a nod and peered tight to Throttle's eyes as they released, "You've already proven to make Wren happier than I think we've ever seen him... I know you'd further ground him as a husband, it's what he needs, truly."

"I'm up for it," Throttle braved with a nod, he eased his trembling hands into his pockets and looked as if he had come alive, "If there's any chance you could possibly take me tonight, I just... I cannot wait any longer. The poor boy was flashing hints at me, left and right, and I just... Feel terrible I didn't have a ring WITH me, while on vacation, cause I would've proposed then."

"Tonight?" Rancis wondered as he bugged his eyes, he subtly caught gazes with Taffyta and wondered just what the hell kind of parallel universe they were living in. He choked a small chuckle and looked down at his lock screen, at the time, "Well, my guy, the darker it gets, the harder the grab, but... If you're up for it, I'd be ready to take you out to the trees in, say... An hour and a half? Meet back here at around nine-thirty?"

"Yes, please, I'd... I'd love that," Throttle bobbed an urgent nod, though he shook his head and grinned as he looked off in aimless, delighted defeat, "I don't care how or when or anything, I just... Need Wren to know just how badly I want this."

"It's yours, my guy. Let's meet back here at nine-thirty, then," Rancis gave Throttle a warm smile of assurance, to which Throttle lit up like the ball of sun he was becoming, "Don't eat before hand, use the bathroom, and I mean... USE the bathroom."

"Be prepared to vomit," Taffyta listed, to which Throttle bugged his eyes and nervously stabbed his gaze tight to her's in a spike of dread.

"Wear clothes you're okay getting beat up in," Rancis added.

"Above all else, don't panic!" Taffyta chimed cutely with a shrug, he cupped Throttle's face in her hands, which were only lightly dusted with flour, in which they held tight eye contact, "You'll be just fine."

"I-I'll... I'll be back at nine-thirty," Throttle assured with a shaky tone and a nervous smile as Taffyta's loving presence unhanded his face, and as he began to move towards the front door corridor, in which both him and Wren had tornado-ed in and out of, he pointed back to Taffyta and smiled, "I'm going to need some cupcakes after this ordeal... Mom."

"I have FOUR KIDS!" Taffyta's voice squeed to a higher pitch of cuteness as Throttle kindly sauntered away, and once he was finally out of the door, Taffyta gripped the counter's edge and glared Rancis down, "Okay, seriously, this chapter is getting weirder and weirder. What alternate universe is this."

"I-I was JUST going to ask you that," Rancis's voice shook, he blurt a chuckle and gestured to Taffyta with an eager little grin of delight, "Hey, why don't we add to the chaos and give you a FIFTH kid."

"Rancis Edward Fluggerbutter," Taffyta stabbed in grinning annoyance.

"C'monnn," Rancis pleaded as he cutely rounded the island and was somehow successful in roping Taffyta into a romantic, swaying embrace, "Our kids are growing up and doing their own thinnng. We can grow up and do OUR own thing, too."

"We've grown and done, dude," Taffyta barked, and although she lovingly draped her arms about Rancis's neck and happily obliged to his many slow smooches, she still verbally resisted, "Every time I bear one of your children, you're either dead or MIA."

"Third time's a charm," Rancis's deep, addictive voice glossed her soul like honey, she sagged in a show of somehow succumbing and lulled her eyes closed in sweet, lovingly delight.

"You cannot have your cake and eat it too," Taffyta's soft, smiling lilt of a tone only half-heartedly protested, to which Rancis pushed his nose into hers and grinned a sneaky grin on her mouth.

"Yes I can, you're making enough for everyone," Rancis's mischievous, seductive voice hovered over her like a dark, sweet cotton candy cloud.

Although a chaotic evening of desperately doing everything he could to make it so Throttle and Wren didn't cross paths, or catch on to the fact that both boys were seeking the same exact activity for the night, Rancis felt as if he could finally relax the second his and Throttle's coding finally settled to the inner workings of Sugar Rush's massive, glorious code room, pristine in the silent, comforting hum of electricity that shined through the dark, aging night. Rancis raised his eyebrows in mild exhaustion and peered to Throttle, having just come from the dregs of the taffy tree forest's grip, which was just now a few miles North of the palace. Although Throttle made it out alive and didn't have the pleasure of expelling any body fluids in the process, he still was entirely disheveled. Still heavily panting, Throttle's nearly-crystalized, pristine, sheet-white skin was riddled with the angriest, bloodiest bruises. With his hair and t-shirt ruffled and torn, he looked as if he had just gotten into a bar fight, though confidently gripped in his hand was a decent chunk of gorgeous taffy bark, a sight that Rancis had seen of Wren not an hour ago. Rancis heaved a small chuckle and was thrilled he had the honor of experiencing this rare occurrence not twice, but three times; he figured this was as lucky as he was going to get, though he was aware he'd be lying if he said he wouldn't test Taffyta's limits later in this evening.

"Y'made it," Rancis gently whispered as Throttle's defeated spirit and gaze aimlessly glossed the code room's gorgeous code boxes, and though he looked entirely defeated, his vividly glowing, teary eyes held a very promising amount of prominent sunshine, something Wren's coding simply could never go without making abundantly obvious, anywhere it went.

"I made it," Throttle repeated cutely, his voice crackled as he looked down to the gorgeous purple and yellow striped bark in his hand, he huffed a shaky chuckle and finally gave Rancis a humbled, endeared look of pure gratitude, "Thank you..."

"You deserve it," Rancis assured tenderly, and as carefully as he could, he pat a spot on Throttle's shaking shoulder that was free of bruises. Throttle bobbed a cute nod, as if to kindly accept Rancis's words, though as Rancis's careful hands cued for a certain code box, inside the code room, Rancis heaved a long, quiet sigh and gave the code room a defeated smile, "You did well... I'm surprised you went as deep, into the woods, as you did."

"I lost track of where I was, looking for a small enough branch to cut," Throttle mumbled, his voice shook from the dregs of adrenaline that now sagged away from him and firmly reminded him of just how much pain he was truly in. Rancis knew he should probably move quick, and though he gave Wren the advice of trying to potentially take a hot bath and wait to propose to Throttle tomorrow, Rancis was well aware Wren likely wouldn't take his father's advice and would seek Throttle out, due to the sheer, shared pain. Throttle chuckled, though he struggled as both boys watched Throttle's code box come down to the two, "I'm going straight to Wren's tower, tonight, I... I can't wait a single second longer."

"You're gunna need this, then," Rancis mumbled, and as he opened Throttle's code box, he blipped his fingers into his full name, 'Throttle Lucian Black'. Rancis felt a breath catch in his throat, though as he thumbed to a few of Throttle's options, he cued for a hoodie to suddenly materialize over Throttle's body, a black, loved hoodie with Turbotime's infamous logo across the chest. Afterwards, Rancis tenderly shooed Throttle's code box away and caught eyes with his brand new son-in-law to-be, "Throttle, I... I need to ask you to do something, for Wren."

"Anything," Throttle stated, and though his voice shook a little, he peered Rancis in the eye with whole confidence, to which Rancis bobbed a nod and looked down to his hands.

"... Please give Wren your last name," Rancis concluded with great warmth, as if to part with a notion that wasn't his choice, and as Throttle long-blinked in warm stun, Rancis hurried to continue on the second he noticed Throttle struggle to inhale, so to argue Rancis. Rancis flagged his hand and shook his head, "It's... Selfish of me to ask the Fluggerbutter name to carry on. That kid loves you to death, and you have a whole fleet of brothers that are probably eager to keep the Black name going."

"Rancis," Throttle sagged his shoulders in bittersweet sorrow, to which Rancis shook his head and smiled.

"You two can choose, and whatever it is, whether mine, yours, or hyphenated, it's... It's great," Rancis shook his head and grinned, "You boys will make the right choice. Okay?"

"Okay," Throttle apprehensively agreed, though he softened and gave Rancis a grateful smile, alongside a gentle nod, "That's... That's really selfless of you. Thank you..."

"Well, if my name is meant to carry on, then it will," Rancis shrugged, he cutely looked up to the beautiful code boxes all around, "Who knows... Maybe Taffyta will cave and we can have a third."

"I'll cross my fingers for yah," Throttle chuckled cutely, to which Rancis bobbed a nod and grinned.

"C'mon, let's... Get you back home," Rancis chimed, he stiffened with energy, once more, and cued to the temporary teleportation square underneath the two. As a drop menu showed up, Rancis's skillful code room knowledge sifted through the palace's many waypoints, and with a readied click, he thumbed to Throttle's teleport pad, just outside of his house. Just before he whisked the two away, Rancis hurried to carry on, "Let me show you how I soothed my bites, when I proposed to Taffyta... Just in case Wren is in for the night and won't answer your calls. Mind if I come inside and show you?"

"No, not at all," Throttle cutely agreed, though as the two came to the lovely, grassy, nighttime palace lot, just outside Throttle's abode, both Throttle and Rancis froze in bewildered delight as to just who was climbing the steps of Throttle's stoop.

With what looked to be a painful whirl around, Wren winced and firmly peered down to Throttle's teleport pad, though as the information hit his retinas, he froze in whole entire shock and firmly peered down to his father and Throttle. With all three men now equally frozen in bewildered delight, Rancis was finally the one to break the silence amidst a hearty laugh of pure, elated, fatherly cuteness. He wiped his eye, amidst his laughter, and shook his head in the beaming grin he deployed on both boys. With both boys dressed in jeans and a hoodie, outside in Sugar Rush's hot evening wind, Rancis ever so tenderly placed his hand to Throttle's lower back and skillfully scoot him off of the grips of his outdoor teleport pad. Throttle stumbled a little and turned to face Rancis, and with the view Rancis had of both of his sons now eagerly peering back at Rancis's grinning, giddy demeanor, Rancis cued for the teleport pad to come to life as he quipped both boys an adorable conclusion.

"Welp, it's been fun, boys," Rancis chirped with a nod as he cued to the palace's main teleport pad, though before he was whisked away, he gave both boys a cute look of smiling confusion and delivered one final slice of sassiness only gifted to him from Taffyta's coding, "Wasn't... There something you boys wanted to ask each other?"

Throttle felt his heart race in unadulterated shock as he watched Rancis's orange pixels urgently shoot away, dissipated into the night atmosphere, and with the stillness, Throttle slowly turned around and peered at Wren up the few steps he had taken into Throttle's dimly lit front porch. With the flits of light that parted ways for the little moths that hovered about said dim porch light, Throttle could see the twinkling, billowing uncertainty in Wren's eyes, and it was only here did both boys understand just what the heck was going on. Wren huffed a shaky chuckle and narrowed his gaze to Throttle, and as Throttle slowly pressed up the few steps to get to Wren's level, he finally reached for Wren's hands and held them tight in a show of overflowing love.

"...I think we've been played," Throttle's voice grumbled with a small, shaky chuckle, to which Wren blurt an equally as wavering laugh. Throttle's nervous, elated eyes smiled into Wren's, and as both boys stood in Sugar Rush's warm, still night, the unusual show of hoodies made very blatantly obvious that both boys were up to the same exact thing. Throttle grinned, he shyly peered down to Wren's hands as they both now were outwardly becoming overwhelmed with crackling breaks for air, little chuckles and wary starts of sentences they had no clue how to proceed on, though Throttle finally shut his eyes tight and shook his head amidst their quivering little thought bubbles, "I-I... I think we both have things we want to say."

"You first," Wren hissed quietly, making clear he wanted Throttle to take the lead here, and although Wren was more dominant and bitey in these situations, he was thrilled to sit back and just enjoy, to take it all in, to know that his two-week long vacation of hints and batted eyelashes didn't go unnoticed.

"Your father gave me a very valuable gift, a very selfless gift," Throttle started, he knew for fact he had a leg up on this situation due to the sheer amount of selflessness Rancis had sneakily deployed on Throttle's heart, not minutes prior, and it was in the stab of pain that was quick to remind him to hurry, did he do what he could to take off his hoodie. Although Wren now knew not to be surprised, his eyes still did what they could to gloss Throttle's battered, bruised body, a similar sight Wren had going on underneath his own grey hoodie. Wren still covered his mouth in a show of genuine shock, as if the idea of it wasn't truly real until it was, quite literally, a reality right in front of him. Throttle heaved a shaky sigh and let his hoodie fall to the ground, a reveal of his battle scars, he peered into Wren's eyes and softened, "He told me to give you my last name..."

Wren felt the recoil of now genuine shock roll over him, and in a sag of bugged eyes and a small gape behind his trembling hand, he huffed a shaky breath and felt the sting of tears coat his eyes amidst their dim surroundings. Wren crumpled, he understood that notion was probably one of the hardest things his father had to do, and it was in the tears that they both were now riddled in did Throttle re-grip one hand to Wren's and pull out the glorious taffy bark, from his back pocket. Although the bark was unpolished and not yet in ring form, Throttle knew damn-well that it still held the same weight.

"Will you marry me?" Throttle's deep, trembling voice dared, a sting of mischievous, seductive delight held tight to his demeanor, to which Wren hurried to nod and blurt a nasally chuckle of floored delight; although he grimaced through it, he did whatever he could to quickly get his own hoodie off, exposing an equal amount of terrible gashes and bruises all over his bare chest and core. Alongside it, he also pulled out an unpolished branch of taffy bark, from his back pocket, in which both boys stood now poised in their very clear and firm answer, to each other.

"Yeah," Wren huffed in a lilt of sweet, shaky delight. He scoffed a nasally laugh as he shook his head and narrowed his sunny gaze tight to Throttle's, "Will you marry me?"

"Yes," Throttle affirmed with an equally as teary chuckle, though he furrowed his eyebrows in a rise of laughter that both boys fell into, a weight of pure relief that soaked their divine bubble with fresh, new love, "... This kind of a proposal sucks because now we can't touch each other."

"Yeah, touch me and my answer will be no," Wren retort playfully with a laugh as both boys hovered tight to each other, though as bravely as Throttle could, he leaned down a little and kindly beckoned for at least a kiss, to which Wren stood on tip toes and happily obliged. In the warm gap filled, Wren furrowed his eyebrows and, as cautiously and tenderly as he could, he just barely draped his arms about Throttle's neck, "Ah, who am I kidding."

"Knew you'd cave," Throttle grumbled with a smile as the two met, once more, and although their stir of passion nearly consisted of hover hands and the resistance of the urge to just glom onto one another, they knew a reset was right around the corner, their night, in which was previously growing old, had now only just begun.
