After that realization, the four returned to the League Castle post-haste. From there, they headed East with Diantha's helicopter, only briefly waiting to pick up the Kalosian and Sinnoh Elites. Diantha also send short messages to Olympia, Valerie and Wulfric – the Gym Leaders who would be quickest to reach Fantina – telling them to reach her asap and protect her as necessary.
"She's not answering her phone..." Cynthia meanwhile was trying to get into contact with her Gym Leader, but failed. Hopefully only because Fantina was not paying attention.
"Hopefully my Gym Leaders will reach her quickly. At least Olympia and Wulfric will certainly outpace us." Diantha tried to assure her colleague. "And Fantina is no push-over herself, no doubt."
Allortan stared out of the window he was sitting at, eyes fixed on the part of the horizon that would soon reveal Anistar itself.
"Arceus knows what he is planning though." Lucian muttered darkly, sitting beside the lawyer with his arms crossed. "Being such a high-ranked League-official, he must have been loaded."
"Meaning that if he no longer cares to get away, he can do some real damage." Malva was sitting cross-legged on the floor, the helicopter not having seats for that many people. Some would certainly have had commentary about the violations of safety and common sense, but they cared little about that right now.
"How likely is it he'd redo whatever he did back then?" Drasna wondered, eyes fixed on the dirty-blonde male opposite her.
"Depends on which part he's aiming for." Allortan muttered. "He'd not have the time or manpower to redo the organized crime-bits, thankfully… but the murder-part he could certainly do." He turned to those in the helicopter. "I just hope he won't get his hands on Therese." He ran his hand through his hair. "This'll be a horrible mess, that is for certain."
"Worse than your legal alternative?" Steven couldn't help but ask.
"Way worse." The lawyer took a deep breath. "But hopefully not as bad as it can get."

"Gerard!" Wulfric had informed Diantha that he and Valerie had met Fantina and most of the Hearthome-delegation at the Sundial, so that is where the helicopter had landed. They were greeted by an absolutely frantic Ghost-type Gymleader almost jumping Allortan. "What were you thinking!? Why did you let Diantha warn her!?" He had barely been able to get out of the vehicle when Fantina grabbed hold of him, eyes wide with fear.
"Would you prefer she get blind-sided?" The lawyer took hold of her wrists. "Better she be warned than surprised." He managed to free his clothes from her death-grip.
"Fantina?" Cynthia gently pulled her Gym Leader away from the only non-League-member present.
"So what happened here?" Diantha asked her two Gym Leaders. "And where is Olympia?"
"No clue where she is." Valerie looked at Fantina. "When we reached Fantina, she wasn't here at least."
"And the moment Fantina realized that you had asked the two of us and Olympia to come here, she became like that." Wulfric gestured with his head to the purple-clad female. "We tried calling Olympia, but she doesn't answer."
"I wouldn't expect her to." Mother Palkia took a deep breath. "Fantina, please. Gerard is right. Better Olympia be warned of his intentions and presence rather than be surprised by it. He wouldn't have been able to get past her anyway, not with things as they are and us being in Anistar."
"I know for a fact you saw the bloody footage, Therese." Fantina almost snarled her answer to that, stopping her attempts at shaking Lucian and Cynthia of her.
"Can someone please tell me what is going on?" It was Malva that spoke up. "What does Olympia have to do with Lombardt?"
"I think that better wait until after. Getting to her before Lombardt does takes priority." Allortan ran his hand through his hair again. It really seemed like he only did that when he was uncomfortable with matters. "Is there any way to find her quickly, Fantina?"
"Well, maybe if you had warned me instead of her, I could have gotten to her and kept her around." The Hearthome Gym Leader muttered darkly, glaring at him. "It's probably too much to hope she'd still be at her Gym."
"Would your Gardevoir be able to sense her, Diantha?" Mother Palkia had moved up to the other Hearthome-resident, resting one hand on her bare shoulder. "I know some Psychic-types can sense others, particularly if said others are using their own abilities. Olympia will be using hers, no doubt. Even if only to track him."
"We can only try." Kalos' Champion pulled the only Pokéball she had brought and gracefully threw it in the air. "Gardevoir, see if you can sense Olympia." She ordered the white form when she appeared. The Psychic-type obediently started glowing with her own power.
"Quickly, please." Fantina added rather sharply, before deflating somewhat. "I hope we can still beat him to her."
"Alright, pardon me for being the one to say this, but I think some laws need to be broken right about now." Wikstrom made himself known. "While Gardevoir searches, I would very much appreciate at least some cliff-notes of whatever happened twenty-five years ago that is resulting in this. Olympia is related to the case somehow, I take it?"
"By lack of a better term, I lumped her under 'victim'." Allortan whispered, having turned in the direction of the general city. "But I think you will agree with me that Lady Olympia is not the type to victimize easily."
"Fantina might be the one who spoke up, but in the end it was Olympia who brought about his downfall back then in retaliation." The church-member added. "I can only imagine he never recognized her when he joined the League. Things would have gone very differently if he had."
"A victim of his domestic terrorism or of the attempted murder?" Siebold almost didn't want to know, but felt compelled to ask.
Several of the others made various noises of upset when it was Fantina that answered. "In a way; both."
They were stopped from asking more when Gardevior seemed to have found the Gym Leader, gesturing even further east.
