Holy Chocolate cakes on awkward dates, Batman, this took a long time to update. Like, over eight months. I deeply apologize for it. I've just been out of my game. I have every intention of finishing this project and working on any more to come.
Don't worry, I'm not dead. I just wanted to finish up a chapter in Ben 10 Omniverse Greengate. Don't worry, I'm not gonna leave this little tale in the dust.
But, anyways, this is a personal favorite chapter of mine, these are two of my favorite ghost characters. I'd like to give a gigantic amount of thanks to my friend Flora, AKA SecretFlowerChild, for coming up with these two. Seriously, I love these two. So far, and outta all of the ones I've got for this story, these are my favorites. Seriously, Go and check out her profile.
It was late dusk, around 10 PM at night. Upon the streets of this simple neighborhood were several mundane houses. One in particular, had the lights in the kitchen turned on. Inside lived two twins, probably around the age of 18. Both of them were young, beautiful women. They were the eye candy of many men, and even some adolescent boys. There names were, fittingly enough, Belle and Bella. Well, their middle names, at least. They apparently shared a first name, but only the twins knew what it was. They had actually moved into the neighborhood a couple of months ago.
The two of them had different hair styles and eye colors, but they were still both gorgeous. Bella had flowing, golden blonde hair, let down to the bottoms of her shoulders. Her eyes were the most wonderful, chocolate shade of brown. She was very... curvy, to say the least. She had fairly large breasts, and an incredibly narrow waist. Her sister was no slouch either. Although, her hair was brown as opposed to her sister's gold, with eyes that were the brightest shade of blue. She kept her hair in a long ponytail, held by a red scrunchie.
Currently, the both of them were in the kitchen. The two young women had many cooking utensils. Many more than the normal household would, at least lying out in the open like that. They also had large amount of cookware, although these were oddly larger than normal kitchens. Pans and pots, plates and bowls, even the oven was large enough to fit a whole cow inside it. Apparently, they really liked to cook. They were actually very good at it. Extraordinarily good at it. They could make even the most disgusting of things taste divine with their expertise.
Their cooking expertise, coupled with their wondrous looks, often captured the hearts of many men. Often a time they would invite some men over on dates and such and cook such amazing things for them. Oddly enough though, whenever they left, they were always so afraid of the twins, to the point where some of them never even wanted to talk about what went on the date. And occasionally, they didn't even come back out. What happened to the young men? People made rumors that they were sent off to somewhere in South America. Other made accusations that they were kept in a cellar below the house. No one was really sure.
Currently, Bella was sitting in a chair, next to a very large plate. She had a tad bit of a pot belly, obviously after eating such a wonderful meal. On the plate next to her were a few bones, signifying that they had just eaten meat of some kind. She rubbed her belly with a satisfied grin perched upon her pretty face. Her eyes drooping, after being stuffed with such a delicious meal she and her sister had partaken in.
"Mmm..." The blonde said, rubbing her stomach, "What a wonderful dinner we had tonight, eh, sis?"
Her sister, Belle, was currently leaning on the counter, picking her teeth with a toothpick. She too had a small potbelly. Although hers wasn't nearly as large as her sister's.
"You bet it was, Bella." She replied, "So glad that we could get those two guys to come over."
"Well, hey, who else could say no to a beauty like moi?" Bella said with a chuckle before lightly belching.
"Well, hey, if I went out to get us a few dates, I could probably come back with three men." Belle said, rubbing her belly with a smug smile on her face.
"Yeah, right. Two men, maybe, but three? Ha! You're gonna need a bit of your sister's curves to get that many boys in our humble abode." Bella replied with a smirk on her face.
Her sister was not amused by this comment. She was just as beautiful as her sister, if not more. She could totally get three men into the house. Maybe even more. While Bella had the wavy golden locks, she had the clearest blue eyes. They say the eyes were the windows to the soul. Then again, if that was true, then she was surprised how all those men who said she had beautiful eyes didn't see what was coming.
"Not true. I can definitely get plenty of men in here." Belle retorted.
"Oh, I know. But you'd have to have my scrumptious curves to get in so many at once." Bella explained, patting her belly. A loud burp escaped her mouth not a second later.
Silence followed suit, as the two sister's rubbed their filled stomachs.
"Oh, man... I can't wait for the next date. Maybe we can invite those football players tomorrow..." The blonde said.
"What? Bella, we can't do that?" Belle said.
"Why not?"
Belle's eyebrows furrowed as she looked at her sister, "We already got two men in here tonight. If enough men disappear from the area we'll have to move again."
"Oh, big deal." Bella said, smiling like a moron, "So we'll move again. We can handle it."
"It is a big deal. Last time we nearly got caught, we would have been sentenced for life." Belle explained.
"Yeah. Nearly got caught. Didn't actually get caught." Bella replied.
Belle folded her arms and looked at her sister with rage in her expression, "Y'know, I've just about had it with your attitude. Always doing whatever you want willy nilly. While I have to pick up the pieces whenever you mess things up."
"I don't mess everything up." Bella said, getting up from her chair.
"Not everything, but plenty of things. One of these days I won't be able to help you when you do. And I can't afford it if you mess us up again." Belle said, turning her back to her sister.
"Hmph. Well, if that's the way you feel about it, then how about you just toss me out on the curb?" She screamed to her sister. Growling at her, she stomped her way out of the room.
'What a child.' She thought to herself, 'Can't see the consequences of what we do. She's going to end up getting us in jail someday.'
Belle turned herself around to look at the counter. She found herself staring down at a cookbook that the two of them used to make the delicious meal they had tonight. She knelt her hands to it and picked up the book, opening it to see what other recipes were inside it. She flicked her hands through the pages, finding all sort of recipes inside it, many of which she had tried before. Some were tastier than others. Her eyes widened when she found something that looked delicious. She took note of the ingredients on the side. There weren't really all that many. Some lettuce, an apple, some gravy or barbecue sauce depending on your preference and the one thing that was in every other recipe in the cookbook.
As she studied the cookbook, she heard a faint slapping noise on the ground. Her sister had come back downstairs. her feet slapping on the kitchen floor, holding both of her hands in front of herself, innocently. Not that she really noticed. She just stared at the cookbook.
"Hey, Belle... I'm sorry for what I said. I know what could happen if we don't play our cards right. I just... I love what we do so much, that... I wish we could do it all the time..."
Belle didn't answer her sister. She just stood there looking at the recipe. The young beauty licked her lips as she thought of this particular meal. She felt a small breath on her shoulder. Looking to the side, she saw that her sister was standing right behind her, looking at the cook book.
"Wow, I haven't tried that recipe before! Looks good." Bella said with a smile.
Belle smiled at her sister. She was correct, it looked like it would be a delicious meal. "You bet. I'm thinking of cooking it up tomorrow..."
"Tomorrow?" Bella said in surprise, "Wow, looks like your finally seeing things my way."
Belle nodded, "Indeed... It looks scrumptious." As she looked at the meal in the book, her mouth watered. It looked absolutely divine.
"Yeah... Anyways, I'm sorry about what I said earlier. Forgive me?" Bella asked.
Belle barely heard her sister, but what she said somehow registered in her brain, because she did reply, "Yeah, sure, whatever..."
"Great!" Bella said, before yawning loudly, "Well, I'll get someone over for another date tomorrow. I'm gonna head off to bed now. G'night."
And with that, Bella walked out of the kitchen and walked up the stairs to her room. Belle on the other hand, simply stood there and read through the recipe. Her eyes ran across the words as if they were a hedgehog looking for a chili dog. She tried her best to memorize each and every detail in the book. She crammed every ingredient, every cooking temperature, every minuscule detail into her skull. It was then that the clock rang out. She looked behind herself to see the time was twelve o'clock at night. Or would it be the morning?
Either way, she smirked at the time. She walked up to the cabinet and got out a huge pan of sorts. She closed the cabinet and placed the pan on the counter. She walked over to and opened up the fridge and pulled out several vegetables and other assorted foodstuffs. She kicked the door shut when she had all of the ingredients she needed. She placed them on the counter along with the pan and looked over all of them. She counted the items in her head and made sure she had all of the ingredients she needed.
"Perfect..."She said to herself. She looked over to the doorway and walked out it.
Belle slept quite peacefully in her bed, curled up nicely in the covers. She also had a wonderful meal so she was in such a deep sleep that she really wouldn't wake up to a lot of things. Which was good for a certain someone.
The door to her room opened up suddenly, but did not crash into anything that made a loud noise. A shadow watched over the sleeping woman. One that would probably be one of the last shadows that would creep up on her...
Tails looked around the room he was just pulled into. It was dark. Dark and frightening. Yet, enough light came into the room for Tails to see things. Floating objects. He sat with his back up against the door. He was pulled in by some unknown object, or creature. He glanced his vision to his tail to see what exactly had pulled him in. Whatever it was, it seemed to had let go of his tail and started to float away from the fox. It appeared to be... an oven mitt?
Tails looked upon the mitt as it floated up towards the rest of the objects, which by looking closely at them, he could tell that they were pots and pans, spatulas and long forks, heck, he even thought he saw a cook book up there. The little kit slowly got up onto his own two feet, without taking his eyes off of the floating kitchen objects. He started to slowly turn around to hopefully leave the room until he heard a noise. Actually, a voice. A feminine voice.
"Oh, look, Bella. It looks like we have another guest." Said the disembodied voice.
Tails jumped and he turned, looking around the room in a panic to see where the voices were.
"Aw, he's so adorable!" Said the voice. It was then that another voice spoke, "He's so cute, I just wanna just gobble him up!"
Tails however ignored these compliments. He's had plenty of people tell him how adorable he is. From fan mail, to a few older people in normal everyday life, to his own girlfriend. Not to mention his fear of ghosts and this environment made him not acknowledge it. He turned around and grabbed the doorknob in a panic, looking all around the room to make sure that the owners of the voices didn't appear.
As he tried to open the door, he noticed that it was locked. He quickly looked down and saw that the lock was on the doorknob. He quickly unlocked the door and turned the knob, just when he was about to pull back on it, an unknown force sent him flying to the wall. After that, he was brought upwards and seemed to be sitting on something, even though he was actually in the air. His eyes were wide as they could be as he felt something smush up against him. Slowly, but surely, the invisible force had made itself known to him.
It appeared to be a young ghost woman, whose hair was as golden as the rings he constantly collected From what Tails was able to tell, she appeared to have a white apron for her attire. She had her arms around Tails in a tight grip, and was squeezing him to death. She rubbed her cheek on the back of his head, almost as if he was a soft plush toy.
"D'aww... he's so cuuuute..." Said the female ghost.
"Now, now, Bella, no need to squish him to death. " Said the other voice in the room. Slowly, another ghost faded in, this one with brown hair, and sky blue eyes. She wore what appeared to be an apron around her womanly figure, with the words "Kiss the Cook" labeled on it.
"Right, sorry, Belle." Said the ghost known as Belle. She loosened her grip on the fox, allowing air to enter his lungs once again. Tails gasped for air as she released him, panting heavily.
"Oh, the poor wittle fox boy's having twouble bweathing." Said the ghost woman, who then said under her breath, "That won't be a problem for him in a few minutes."
"I'm okay... I'm fine..." Tails said, out of breath. He got up onto his feet and looked around the dark room, the only light coming from the ghosts illuminating the room. He began to examine the room around him to see that he was in a kitchen of some sort. With three doors on three of the walls, and a counter, oven and large table, all scootched up against the fourth one.
He examined the two ghosts before him. They were actually really pretty. Didn't stop him from being paranoid. Some of the last ghosts that he's seen didn't seem to be evil and they attempted to get him and Luigi. Thought, then again, they were under certain circu-... Oh, no, Luigi! He was terrified of ghosts and he was inside of a haunted mansion. The Plumber was probably freaking out right now. Or maybe worse. He had to go and make sure he was alright. He began to make his way to the door, until he was stopped by Bella.
"Hey, kid, where ya goin'?" She asked him.
Tails' eyes widened as she floated up towards him He was not sure how to handle this situation. He then remembered what he had on his back, so he decided to use the element of surprise to his advantage.
"I'm just gonna... Oh, y'know... go and find my friend." Tails said, reaching his hand behind himself, attempting to look as innocent as possible.
"Oh, you have a friend? What's your friend like?" She asked him.
Tails' eyes widened a little. He probably should have not mentioned that he had a friend to the ghost. It wasn't the best idea, he had no idea if these ghosts were going to do anything malicious to him, or, by extension, Luigi. Regardless, he did have something to deal with ghosts. He had his hand behind his back, grasped tightly onto his Poltergust's nozzle and was just about to pull it out.
"Um... Well, he's this guy I know and-"
Before Tails continued small talking to distract the ghost from his actions, a chair came up to him and swept him off his feet into it.
"Wah!"
"Now, now... there's no need to be worried. I'm sure that your friend is fine." Said Bella, floating up behind Tails, moving the chair next to the table.
"Um.. R-right... Well, I still better make sure, y'know?" Tails said, trying to push himself out of the chair. Bella however, wouldn't allow it as she pushed his chair back in.
"Aw, come on now. You should at least let us make you something to eat. Cutie like you has to keep his strength up."
Tails pushed himself out of the chair and started to back away from them, slowly, "N-no thanks... I'm not hungry."
"Come on, now, I'm a great chef." Belle said, smiling wide. Belle floated up to Tails and picked him upwards. Wow, these chicks weren't taking no for an answer, were they?
"It's true. You'll love our cooking!"
Tails' eyes widened, he slowly placed his hand behind his back. If there was ever a time for the Poltergust, it was probably now. Or better now then later, at least.
"I... said... NO!" Tails yelled, pulling out his flashlight and flashing Bella with it. The ghost recoiled back in pain, letting Tails fall to the ground. As well as a few other floating objects. One of them was the book Tails saw earlier, landing right on top of his cranium. This caused the little kit to fell to the ground on his little bum, with the book falling to the kitchen floor, opening as well. Tails looked around once again, but his eyes specifically caught the book. He approached it and took a look at the pages that were shown to the rest of the room, thanks to it being opened. His eyes widened with horror as he saw the writings and pictures inside.
Belle saw what Tails as looking at and decided to act quickly. She raised her hand to control a floating long fork and had it trap Tails' hand to the wall. He tried to pull it out, but it was no use.
"Ow... That hurt." Bella said, rubbing her head. She looked down to see one of their books on the floor and up to see a terrified Tails pinned up against the wall.
"...Alright, wild guess. He saw?" She asked.
"He did." Belle answered.
"Oh, that's a shame. I wanted it to be a surprise... Oh, well. Dinner's still gonna be delicious." Bella said, before licking her lips. Bella looked to Tails with an evil grin on her face.
Tails on the other hand, looked terrified as he knew what these ghosts planned to do to him.
Luigi's eyes flickered open. The world greeted him by spinning around in circles. Thanks to his dizzy state, He wasn't able to register everything around him at once. The first thing that did register in his head, though, was that he was covered in dirt and some sort of hard, shattered clay. He brought his tired head up to look around his surroundings. It was dark and appeared to be stormy outside. With his memories flushing back into his head, like a toilet with a spider in it, he remembered that he was inside of the haunted mansion. However, the memory of Tails getting swept away was still lost to him at the moment.
He turned his body around and stood on his hands and knees in order to get back up. He moaned to himself as he felt the pain that Waluigi had inflicted onto him before. Although he didn't know who it was. He assumed it was a ghost. At least, that's what he would assume when he remembered he got knocked out. He lifted one leg and placed his foot onto the ground, followed by his other. Pushing up with his legs, he got up from the cold, hard floor.
He placed his hand on his head, rubbing it in hopes of stopping the pain. It really didn't. But when he heard dark chuckles behind himself, he began to not care. Indeed, laughter that sounded gruff and gravelly sounded behind the plumber. He tried not to scream in hopes of whatever was snickering hadn't already seen him. He slowly turned himself to see what it was.
The outlines of the beings were invisible thanks to the darkness around them, but Luigi was able to make out some things. Three sets of eyes, three sets of mouths, each of them with a difference in between each other. One set was rounded at the bottoms with tiny pupils, the mouth that accompanied it had two shiny fangs. The other set of eyes were more triangular, with a mouth that didn't appear to have teeth, yet had teeth-like grooves in its mouth. The last set of eyes were different, being bright red with a grin that could be described as a slasher smile.
They appeared to be speaking amongst themselves, in some sort of language that Luigi didn't understand. Not that he particularly cared right now. He was scared out of his mind. These things looked so scary to him. The voices that accompanied them were also particularly spooky. One deep, one screechy, one sounding outright demonic with the growl in it's voice. Luigi's breath became quick and uneasy as he saw these ghosts. And loud. He became loud too. Loud enough for one of the ghosts to notice him and point him out to the others.
The three sets of eyes looked at him. His own eyes widened at the sight. Quickly, the ghost with the red eyes floated up to him and roared at him, showing the fact that it's open maw was actually about four feet tall.
"GAAAAAARRRR!"
Luigi screamed at the top of his lungs and backed away as fast as he could. Had he not unlocked the door earlier before he was knocked unconscious, he would have ran into the door and not had any way of escaping. Because he did, he backed into the door and fell backwards into the room. When he ended up in the kitchen, the ghost that roared looked down to find a key. It picked it up and closed the door, locking it in the process. He smiled as he turned back to his own comrades. Whatever they wished to accomplish, being unknown to anyone else.
Luigi looked around his new surroundings. It was dark...Things were still visible to the plumber, but it was dark. He turned his head behind himself to see a counter, an oven, a table with four chairs, a fridge, and some was a light coming from the oven, bright orange... and fiery. He assumed that something was cooking in there. He just wasn't sure what it was. He looked to the other two walls to see a door on each of them. He looked over to the side to actually find Tails' Poltergust! What was it doing there against the wall? Another light quickly faded in in front of the plumber. He turned to find a ghostly face of a young woman with brown eyes and blonde hair in from of him.
"Hello!" She said in a perky voice. Luigi screamed in response. He quickly backed away from her to the point where he hit the counter behind him. HE clutched his back in pain from the counter.
"Oh, did I scare you? I'm sorry." The ghost girl asked, sounding rather innocent, "I was just saying hi to a nice, handsome man."
Luigi couldn't really hear the compliment of the flirtatious female over his own heavy breathing. Being jump scared by ghosts would do that to a fellow.
"Oh, there's no need to worry..." Said another feminine voice, "We're not going to hurt you."
Luigi jumped a bit from hearing the voice. He scanned the room quickly to find out who said that. Slowly, another woman faded in, looking incredibly similar to the other female ghost. She had brown hair in place of the other one's blonde hair, and blue eyes in place of the other one's brown eyes. He jumped a bit at the sight of her as she faded in and floated around the room, with her ghostly tail breezing around. She floated over to the table and pulled out one of the chairs.
"Have a seat." She suggested to the plumber. Had Luigi been given the chance, he would have said no thank you and probably run in the other direction. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't given it. The ghost woman scooped him up and pushed his seat into the table.
"Now, what's a big, strong man like yourself doing in a scary place like this?" The ghost asked, in a rather suggestive voice.
The other ghost floated up to him and felt his arm through his clothing-actually, make that through his skin, "Oh, wow, look at that. You feel so skinny... so undernourished... How about you have dinner with us, eh, Big Boy?"
Luigi began to sweat. He didn't know where Tails was and he was inside a room with two ghosts. Never mind that the ghosts were actually fairly attractive on several different levels, Luigi could not notice with is mind on edge as it was. He wished that Tails was here. He wished that E. Gadd was here. He wished that Mario was here. Heck, he wished that Daisy was here. She could punch out these ghosts no problem. Although, she'd probably be doing it for a very different reason then what Luigi thought.
Just then, the oven beeped a few times in a row.
"Oh, that must be dinner." The brown haired ghost said, floating over to the oven. Luigi looked over to her as she pulled the handle on it and opened up the cooking machine. His eyes widened to their maximum when he saw what she pulled out of the oven. Or rather-who.
It was Tails! Tails laid in a large pan with an apple shoved in his maw. His eyes were closed shut, and he was surrounded by smaller foods within his tight pan. His fur seemed to be a slightly darker shade than before. Despite just being put into an oven, his chest-or rather, back, was moving slowly up and down, showing that he was indeed alive.
"Oh, it looks like he's just barely alive." The brunette said aloud.
"It's okay, sis! Sometimes the best meals are the ones that are!" The blonde one said.
Luigi could barely believe what he just saw. These ghosts were going to eat Tails! Alive! It was sick! Luigi nearly fainted in his chair from the sight. The brunette ghost sat Tails down on the table, right in front of Luigi, whose face was a mix between disgust and terror.
"So, anyways... Would you like to have dinner with us? My name's... Belle. Cannibelle." The brunette introduced herself.
"And I'm Cannibella!" The blonde shouted perkily.
Luigi's terror filled face nearly let out a scream as the two introduced themselves. Ghost cannibals. Who would have thunk it? Nearly every fiber in the plumber's being was telling him to scream bloody murder and head for the hills, but there was a small voice in his head giving him another option. A small voice that told him he would have wished he had listened if he did the opposite. He quickly reached behind himself and grabbed his flashlight, lighting it on both Cennibelle and Cannibella. A pink heart made itself apparent within the busty women.
Cannibella flew away from the chair, while Cannibelle recoiled backwards, placing her hand on her chest from the pain she just experienced. Luigi took this opportunity to jump back out of the chair and suck them up in his vacuum. He hastily pulled out the Poltergust's nozzle and aimed it for the first ghost that he caught his eyes on. This was Cannibella. He began to pull in the blond woman as close as he could. The vacuum managed to catch her apron, pulling it from her ghostly body.
Cannibelle's pink heart slowly faded as she watched the plumber suck up her sister. Luigi caught her ghostly tail in the nozzle of the Poltergust, and sucker her into the machine. It clogged up a bit when it got to her hips, but after a second, she slid down, and got caught by her chest. Her arms were free, but the nozzle was having a tougher time with her breasts then her hips. Luigi looked at her face as he sucked her in. Her brown eyes looked at him with a sad expression, as she attempted to get out of the vacuum's grip on her.
"Please! Don't! Stop! Please! I promise I won't eat you! I know what it's like!" She screamed, with a small tear shedding itself down her cheek. Even if Luigi wanted to stop, he couldn't, as the machine pulled her in itself as she uttered the last word.
Luigi's breath was heavy as the ghost was safely inside his poltergust. A small part of him actually began to wonder. Did she actually mean that? What she said. Would she have eaten him? Was that just something she said to try and get free, or did she actually mean it? And what did she mean by 'I know what it's like'? These were a few things he pondered whilst catching his breath.
Eventually, he took notice of the fact that he was alone in the room, aside form an unconscious, prepared-for-dinner Tails on the table. He swore he didn't suck in the other ghost. And he didn't. Coming up from behind him, out of the wall, was Cannibelle. She grabbed the plumber and floated towards the counter, slamming him onto it.
"Now, now, don't struggle... " The ghost said, "I promise... you'll be delicious."
Luigi started kicking and screaming, as She tried to hold him on the counter. The plumber could barely get out of her grasp. He attempted to shine at her with his flashlight, only for her to grab the shining stick and chuck it to the table. She actually struck the still unconscious Tails and knocked him off the counter. As Luigi struggled, she noticed this.
"Great. Now I'm going to have to prep him up all over again!' She screamed at him, "But don't worry. Me and my sister always had double dates. I'll just serve you up together."
Luigi struggled out of the ghosts grasp after she shouted. He landed on the floor and she quickly jumped onto him. He awkwardly laid on the floor with the vacuum stuck on his back. He still held the nozzle in his hand, hoping for a miracle. Unfortunately, it looked like the plumber was going to be dinner.
"Stop struggling. You're making the meat tough." She yelled to him. Quickly, another kitchenary item flew to the cannibal ghost. It was... a mallet? They used those in kitchens? Huh. Luigi did not know that.
"Now, I have to tenderize you.." Cannibella shouted, lifting up her mallet, ready to strike Luigi. He winced in horror as he expected her strike. At least until he heard a small click and a gasp of pain. He opened one eye to see that a light flashed on the ghost woman, exposing her heart. He was slightly confused at this action and looked up to see something surprising. Tails sitting up, with a flashlight in his hand, and his poltergust's nozzle in the other. He looked incredibly weak, but still managed to press the button on the vacuum. She quickly flew away from the pull of the vacuum, which was much easier thanks to Tails' weak state.
Luigi quickly took note of what was going on. He aimed the nozzle of the vacuum at the ghost and began to pull the other ghost inwards. She screamed as she tried to escape. She seemed to be escaping their gusts. Luigi figured out why quickly. He quickly and carefully shimmied over next to Tails, who weakly continued to pull. The ghost was getting away due to the unfocused wind patterns pulling her in two different directions, but now they were both going in the same direction.
Thanks to the combined wind pulls of the Poltergust 4002, Cannibella quickly flew back into Luigi's nozzle. Similarly to her sister, she got stuck a little when she was pulled to her hips and breasts, but she went in quicker than her sister. Luigi and Tails turned off their vacuum hoses after the successful capture. Luigi wiped the sweat off his brow and sat down next to the weak Kit. He glanced over at him and smiled.
"Thanks for that." Luigi said gratefully, "You okay?"
"I've been worse..." Tails said, tired from his oven punishment.
Luigi gave him a look and with a laugh in his voice he asked, "When have you been worse than this? You just got finished baking in an oven..."
Tails chuckled at this, "You shoulda seen me in Launch Base Zone."
Waluigi stood in the front room his back leaned up against a wall next to a door, on the side that it would probably fling open and flatten himself against the wall, just like earlier. He probably shouldn't be leaning there, just in case said incident were to happen again. He wasn't entirely sure on what to do now. He was stuck in a haunted mansion, with no means of escape. He wasn't scared, or terrified, or anything. In fact, if anything, he was bored out of his skull.
The purple plumber/Bridal boutique owner sighed to himself. Unsure of what to do. The best idea in his tiny little skull was to wait.
"Grr..." Waluigi grred, "What's a guy gotta do to get plotty stuff done?"
It was then that he heard a sound. A faint sound. The sound of foot steps. His pointed ears twitched at the sound. He slowly turned his body and placed his ear up against the wall he was leaning on. He heard footsteps coming from the other side of the wall. Suddenly, a small creek made itself heard to the man. Slowly, the door he was next to opened up. It's old creek scratched Waluigi's Eardrums, as he turned his skull to the direction of the doorway. It wasn't flying towards him, so he didn't feel the need to move out of the way.
Slowly, someone walked into the room, carrying a small doll in their hand. They cupped their other hand over their eyes to shield themselves from the massive light adjustment of the room. As the person walked into the room at the pace of a snail, or a Pokey on a sugar high, It didn't seem that they noticed the other man in the room. An idea slowly creeped into Waluigi's mind. An evil smirk planted itself upon his ugly mug. Well, until he made an annoyed look to the ceiling for two seconds, but it came back.
The newcomer's eyes slowly adjusted to the light, removing their hand from above their eyes. But behind them, Waluigi slowly crept up behind them. his arms high over his head, and his mouth wide open. He loomed over the newcomer's head, casting a shadow on them, and slight in front of them. They turned their head to find Waluigi looming over their head, greeting them with a loud, "WAAAAHHH!"
The newcomer let out a high pitched squeal as Waluigi was met with a fist to his face. The person backed up to the wall as Waluigi recoiled back, holding his hands over his face, "Waaah! Waaahh-hahaaa… Argh!"
Waluigi backed up so far that he ran into a desk, and actually knocked it over. He fell to the ground in pain, clutching at his mug, crying obscenities that the author does not want you to hear.
The stranger looked at him with a confused look on their face, unsure of how to react to the event. They looked over their shoulder to see another door. they quickly turned the knob and ran inside the new room.
Waluigi just sat on the ground, screaming in pain for a good minute. When he calmed down, he slowly removed his hands from his face and looked at the desk he knocked over. He actually knocked out the drawer in it and saw something. Something yellow and shiny. He slowly crawled over to it and picked it up. He inspected it further. He knew exactly what this was.
It was a key.
But a key to what?
An idea sprang into his mind. He slowly turned his eyes to the doorway behind him. To the door that would lead out of this haunted mansion. He looked back at the key in his hands and smiled evilly. He knew exactly what he needed to do.
A desk drawer flew out of the window next to the entrance of the mansion. Waluigi laughed in success as he followed suit of the wooden box, escaping the haunted mansion. He stood up and held his hands in the air, with two fingers up, "Success! Waluigi's out of the mansion!"
With that, Waluigi strutted his way off of the porch of the mansion, thinking his role in this tale was done. Little did he know that his role in this story was not over yet.
Waluigi looked up into the sky angrily and he shook his fist in the air, "Darn you, Narrator Man! Darn you!"
Just then, rain began to pour down from the sky, soaking Waluigi to the bone. He looked in front of himself with a displeased look on his face, walking in the other direction of the mansion.
