Chapter 1: Anything For You
By: Miss Vibert
A/N: I keep writing but every happy idea I get always ends up with a sad ending so this is just going to be sad all the way through. This has one reference to the Olympians but it's not a crossover (hate writing them not reading them though). ALSOOOO I'm pretty sure you can tell from my fist chapter of In The Name of Love and Danger that I like to end my stories with the name of the chapter. Harry isn't a Horcrux but still sort of connected to Voldemort, they aren't searching for horcruxes at the time of the war, Hermione's a Horcrux in the end. Never was a prophecy. Just a heads up. Hope you like it!
Hermione jumped in front of the killing curse that was meant to kill Voldemort. Everyone from both sides watched her as she did it. Closer and closer it came slowly. Turning around she kissed Voldemort, the words 'I love you' were left unsaid but hung in the air between them as the killing curse hit her back. Voldemort hated the feelings that he felt at that moment. He hated Hermione for making him look weak, he hated her for jumping in front of the curse. A single tear escaped his left eye (A/N: the first tear fell out of your left eye; it means you're sad if it's the right eye your happy. It might not be scientific but I think it might be true on some level.) slowly sliding down his left cheek. He seethed in his rage, his magic begging to be set free from all his bottled up emotions. He hated how some people looked at him with a look of pity now. Most showed sympathy, others showed rage or horror. The ones that looked shocked and surprised changed their expression to betrayal.
He felt more tears prick his eyes dangerously close to falling. Looking in the direction the killing curse had been casted; he captured everyone that was to his right not caring whether or not if it was actually them that casted the curse. He ordered his Death Eaters to kill everyone else and leave the ones that he wanted that included Harry Potter. He didn't care about killing Harry Potter anymore all he cared about was Hermione being killed because she was protecting him.
Conjuring cages for the people, lumped in the group he had pleaded guilty. Putting Imperious on them, ordering them to get into the cage.
When he was done with putting everyone in cages he floated Hermione's body along with the cage, to his destination.
G.O.V.
The "Dark Side'' had won the war. Defeated everyone that was their enemy. The rest of the incompotant brats who defied Voldemort that hadn't been killed were turned into slaves or were given youth potion and Obliviated them so they were raised as his followers or just people who believed in purifying the wizarding world.
He still felt nothing. Occasionally few tears would escape from his eyes and slide down his cheeks. He casted a glamour on his face to make it look like he wasn't just crying. Going down to the Malfoy dungeons where he put all the people that were to his right. He had to admit there were quite a lot of people from that direction. He tortured them all until they were on the floor sobbing, begging for him to stop and just kill them. He didn't even flinch and continued his torture. Ordered Snape to bring him all of the Veritaserum he had in stock.
Interrogating all the prisoners asking the same questions was a tedious task and required patience (Voldemort hated being patient.) Whenever they hesitated to answer him he would tutor the answers out of them. The more people he integrated the more he became enraged with their hesitation and lack of detail. He needed answers, he desperately wanted to know who had killed his love.
Wanted to cause the person who killed her the same pain he felt when he saw Hermione's body go limp and him just holding her like there was no tomorrow.
Being the smart man he was known to be he stopped torturing the person he was torturing. He had never in his life known what love was or how it felt. After he met Hermione he wanted to be with her more than he wanted someone to kill Dumbledore (It was A LOT). Hermione was almost as smart as he was, she was the smartest witch in their year.
For him a broken heart wasn't meant to be lived with. He hated everything, everyone, he cursed love. The future he had planned for him and Hermione if/when he had won the war would have been magnificent. Voldemort had promised to protect her, never let her go, and yet she had died and he couldn't have done anything about it. She was gone, every hope he had died along with his love, his one and only.
G.O.V.
He was getting tired of the same answers he was getting, so instead of asking a question he used Legilimency on them. He looked from different points of views to see who had casted the curse. Finally he saw it.
Ronald Billius Weasley. He was the one that had casted the killing curse. He watched as Ronald Weasley casted the cures with a smug face thinking that it would hit Voldemort. He continued to watch, seeing the red heads' faces turn from smug to horror then to utter rage as Hermione jumped in front of the curse and kissed Voldemort. Voldemort relived his nightmare, he so desperately wished it wasn't real, that he would wake up and see Hermione at the desk in his room studying or sleeping next to him. He wished that Hermione would wake him up and start discussing a topic she didn't understand, or just snog him because she was bored.
Forcefully pulling himself from the person's mind he gave them a reward after. He cleaned her up and gave her food. Feeling generous he asked her if she wanted to save someone from death who it would be she picked the one person she loved the most: her boyfriend (her family was already dead). Everyone else was useless so he killed them like he planned before.
Leaving the room he summoned everyone that was in his inner circle.
Explaining his plan to get Ronald Weasley to his inner circle. Voldemort looked at a crowd of confused faces and he explained why Hermione had done what she had; he only told them bits and pieces but they got the memo of the story. He told them of how they met, of how she would sneak off to meet him whenever she was in Hogsmeade or had a free period and told everyone she had plans. Told them how Hermione Granger was a Half-blood demi-god witch (most of them came to the conclusion that, that was the reason she was so powerful.) Told them of how Hermione would have joined their side as soon as she was done with school and free of Harry and Ronald.
Most seemed to understand it, the ones that didn't get it we're coming up with in their minds they weren't the smartest. When everyone had finally connected the dots it finally made sense why she would need to hide who she really was since she was so powerful. Everyone started to talk about what it would be like to have such powerful parents and not being able to tell anyone who you really were in fear that they would use her.
When he had gotten control of the conversation he told them of what he saw and told them to get Ronald Billius Weasley alive. He wanted revenge, wanted Ronald to feel the way he did now. He of course knew that Hermione and Ronald dated for a little bit but she ended things soon after. She had said that he didn't have any manors or smarts at all, she also soon realized that he was just using her and Harry. (He didn't know why she would have dated him at all.)
When she was breaking up with Ronald they got into a fight about how she felt and why she was breaking up with him (plus she saw him cheating on her never told him that of course). Of course Ronald had to bring Harry into the argument. Harry sided with Ron like always. (Harry doesn't know that Ronald cheated on Hermione. Funny he didn't mention it to Harry)
Later she had also gotten into a huge fight with Harry when she was trying to tell him that Ronald was using both her, Harry being the positive person he was, he didn't believe her at all. They rarely hung out together after the fight she had with the both of them.
In his opinion he thought that Harry and Ronald weren't the greatest friends but of course she had argued against it, trying her hardest not to say that he never had human friends (snakes don't count). He never understood the concept of friends but he knew for sure that your "real friends" aren't supposed to team up on you, threaten to end their friendship, use you, and take sides in an argument even if they know you're right.
She had told him of all her years at Hogwarts and all of her classes going year by year. What caught his attention most was when she mentioned using a Time Turner to get to all her classes since she had a lot and not enough time to get to them all.
After he had asked them about the Time Turner before he soon found out that she had taken one from the Ministry's Department of Mysteries, after visiting it during the summer of 5th year. To his surprise "Little Miss Perfect" wasn't as perfect as everyone thought. He also found out that she never told Ronald and Harry about what she did.
She had handed it to him trusting him with one of her most prized positions, (her others being Hogwarts: A History, and her old photo album with both muggle and wizarding pictures. He laughed at the first one as though it was hilarious.) When she had left him for that night she had left the Time Turner. He thought she had just forgotten it but she didn't. She had left it there on purpose.

Voldemort had been thinking far too much, that mixed with the pain from his broken heart had given him a headache. He went to his study, took off his Voldemort glamour (He looks like Tom Riddle now with red eyes) and looked for something that could remind him of Hermione. Which wasn't as hard as he thought it would be seeing that Hermione had left some of her pieces of her outfits when she visited him in his room or study.
He mentally cursed himself because the whole point of him going to his rooms was to lay down and find something that smells or reminds him of Hermione.
He missed her know-it-all attitude; he missed the way she hugged him, the kisses she gave him, the way she relaxed against his body unlike her usual stiff posture, the way she smelled. He missed everything about her, even the annoying things. He wondered what he would smell in the Amortentia potion now that Hermione was gone.
It was hard for him to think like that to just think that he won't be awoken by Hermione just because she's bored and wanted to discuss a topic. His heart ached for Hermione, his love, his light in the darkness, his everything. He hated to think that Hermione wasted her life just to save him. He hated to think that Hermione wouldn't be able to be with him when this was all over.
He hated fate, it mocked him and he hated it to no end. Voldemort's mind wandered to an old memory of him promising to himself not to let anything ever get in his way and that he would pay any price to get what he wanted.
Memory:
'I Tom Marvolo Riddle promise that I won't let anything stop me in succeeding in accomplishing the vision I have for the Wizarding World, I will pay any price to get my dream no matter what it was.'
He cursed his younger self and his reckless actions. He cursed almost everything that had ever existed. That's when he got it. That's when he realized that Hermione's Time Turner was hidden in one of his draws with very protective wards around it.
Scanning the room for Hermione's magical signature he walked around and almost gave up hope in finding the object. When he reached the library part of the room it started to glow faintly. Walking at a slower pace he saw that the glow was getting brighter with every step he took.
Finally almost reaching the end of the section the light started to slowly fade out. Taking a step back he saw that the light glowed brightly again. Going into the section of books there he walked slower than he had before. Towards the middle of the aisle of books the light flared brighter than it had before. Turning from left to right he saw that the light flickered slightly when he turned right. Concluding that the book was to his left. He slowly waved his wand over the books on the book shelf. He stopped when he reached the bottom. The whole time the glow on the wand had dimmed slightly. Reaching the very bottom the wand flared indicating that Hermione's magic was detected nearby. He resisted in the Lumos spell and saw that there was something rectangular at the bottom.
He saw that it was a book of an old album. Hoping that the Time Turner was in there Voldemort broke Hermione's wards very easily. He was silently grateful that Hermione had taught him how to break them and make them.
Opening the album he saw both wizarding and muggle photographs. Photos of her and Voldemort both muggle and wizarding, muggle photographs of her and her parents, a few with Harry, Ron, and herself, some of her baby pictures and pictures of her when she was growing up. Voldemort didn't take pictures with people when he was growing up not in the muggle world and only for formal gatherings and important things did Voldemort take pictures with people.
Voldemort flipped through the album and saw that the majority of the rest were pictures of landscapes and him and Hermione, all except the last page. Closing the album he stood and walked over to his desk.
Voldemort wanted to know why the book was protected with such heavy wards. In the back of his mind he knew that the Time Turner had to be in the book. He couldn't be wrong, he had to prevent what happened today.
After struggling to find the Time Turner he switched tactics. He thought about what he thought Hermione would think about and where she would hide a Time Turner. He tried the cover but saw nothing. He looked carefully through pages slowly to see if he had missed anything. He held the book by the two covers and shook it wildly to see if anything would fall out. While shaking the book he saw light reflect off of something that was inside the spine of the album.
"Clever girl," he said out loud knowing that it was the Time Turner.
He looked closer and saw the chain that Hermione had connected the Time Turner to. He had never felt such relief in his life. He knew of course that he would have to plan before he acted.
About an hour later he came up with a plan. 1) He would cast a magical shield around both himself and Hermione 2) capture Weasley before he shoots the killing curse at him. 3) Make sure he wins the war after making sure Hermione won't get killed by casting one of Antonin Dolohov's strong shield's that defects any type of magic except the person who created it.
Voldemort found himself in his study and a nervous looking Hermione popping out of nowhere. She went and sat with him and it felt so surreal. He surprised Hermione with a hard bear hug almost choking her.
She managed to choke out, "you're…choking…me…Love."
When he finally released her from the killer hug she gulped down air greedily. After a few moments the only sound was Hermione gulping down air. Voldemort on the other hand stayed silent and just stared at her face. When she was done forcing air into her lungs she saw that Voldemort was just staring at her with an expressionless face. Turning around she silently conjured a mirror, looking to see if she had something on her face.
She didn't. Nothing was on her face that normally wasn't, so why was he looking at her so strangely. Turning to confront him she was met with his lips and didn't even get the words out of her mouth before he started attacking it. Hermione not knowing what to do just melted into the kiss. He then started to kiss her neck and went down more and more. (you know what happens next.)
Hermione, surprised by his sudden actions and stood stiffly for a few moments before relaxing to his touch.
After completing the activities they were both tired and drained of all energy that they had before. Hermione was too tired to ask Voldemort why he was acting strange but was consumed by sleep.
Voldemort woke up due to the slight shift of weight on the bed. Knowing that Hermione was trying to get out of the bed trying not to wake him he pretended to be asleep and grab her. Hermione let out a little yelp since she hadn't seen the attack coming. Trying to wiggle away from his arms wasn't working. She soon realized that he was awake. Figuring out that Voldemort was awake she slowly tortured him by giving him slow kisses on the neck and then his cheeks then ever so slowly he kissed she kissed his mouth.
Voldemort silently cursed for a few moments before opening his eyes to see Hermione with a smug look and a smirk on her lips. With a swift movement Hermione was under him and the smug look was wiped off of her pretty face.
Voldemort was the one that was smirking now, getting off of her he went to take a shower knowing that she wanted him to do more. Ignoring her whines he went to the bathroom and just sat on the bench that was in the shower waiting for her to come.
Hermione knew what Voldemort was doing she still wanted him, she had to leave though. Knocking on the bathroom door Voldemort opened it before she had gotten to her second knock. She looked up slightly surprised, but impressed, he never seemed to fail whenever she was involved.
Voldemort, knowing what was coming next just kissed her and walked backwards into the bathroom and kicked the door closed. Hermione didn't even protest against it this time. She just let it happen. After about an hour Hermione came out in a towel and Voldemort was still taking a shower.
G.O.V.
The inevtitulbel will happen. You can't stop death A small voice said to Voldemort as he was mulling over his plan.
Yes I can and I will. I've done it before and I can do it now. Gritting his teeth
But is it worth her living with half a soul? To be half the person she was before? He could have swore he was going crazy.
I'm doing this for her. For me. He didn't know why he was answering the voice but he still did. The voice argued against it but he didn't listen. Blocking the voice out he worked on the plan to the point he memorized it.
Before he attacked he met with all of his Death Eaters. He told them of Hermione's real origins and told them not to attack her or they would pay with their lives. He cared about Hermione, he didn't see it as a weakness at all. He sees Hermione as a strength whenever she's in trouble he would do anything to save her no matter who gets in his way.
Skip it if you want.
From when he first met her he knew she was important and powerful. He often wondered why the Order didn't pay much attention to her. Dumbledore, and the Weasleys were the worst of all. Dumbledore treated her like she was just a lap dog, expecting her to listen and do everything the boys need. She hated him to his very core, wanted to slowly kill him, watch him beg for mercy. She wasn't as innocent as she pretended to be and Voldemort was immensely impressed that she was able to control her urges to kill Dumbledore.
The Weasleys were worse all except the Weasley twins, Percy, and Ginny. Hermione knew that Percy worked for the ministry and was secretly a Death Eater. The twins were fun to joke around with. They somehow always managed to make Hermione laugh even when she was sad and lonely. Mrs. Weasley was an overly obnoxious person even for a mother. Her voice was too shrill for Hermione's liking (She had tried to imitate her voice when she was showing him how annoying her voice really was. He thought it was unnecessary). She had expected Hermione to marry Ronald one day and have a family like hers, she had also expected Harry to marry Ginny (Ginny never loved Harry and only dated him to please her parents). Molly Weasley was displeased when she had heard that Hermione had broken up with Ronald with no explanation. From then on Molly Weasley had always been slightly bitter towards her. Bill Weasley was just bland and far too boring for Hermione's tast. Arthur Weasley was just obsessed with muggle things. He had constantly bothered Hermione just because he wanted to know more about muggle inventions. She hated how most of the time whenever she was at the Burrow, Arthur always found a way to bring up muggles and their inventions. She hadn't really known Charlie Weasley since he worked in Romania but she still didn't like him on instinct.
Back to the story
Voldemort could understand why he hated them. He hated the ones that had hurt her either physically, mentally, or sexually. He had hated Dumbledore since he was in school but he started hating him more and more because of how he treated Hermione like an object, not caring for her at all.
The battle was relatively the same as before except this time he made sure to capture and disarm the Weasleys he knew Hermione wanted to kill.
He couldn't wait for this to be over. He couldn't wait to show Hermione the present he had gotten her earlier. He was pretty sure Hermione knew something was up due to his actions from last night and earlier.
When Potter died it wasn't hard to kill him at all. Voldemort of course knew what spells and curses Potter would use. He used the same spells as before. Potter so predictable, so naïve. Potter wasn't he equal, not in any way. Hermione was his equal, she completed him and he completed her.
When he had won the war and captured the rest of the Order, killing the members that infuriated him the most, obliviating and turning the others into babies. He would put them up for adoption soon. They would be blood adopted by people he saw fit. Their appearances would change and so would almost everything about them.
He felt someone's small arms around him. Turning around he saw the beauty of Hermione; it made his heart leap with joy utter delight to see that she was still alive. Hugging her back he kissed her forehead. She looked over his shoulder and saw that most of the people from the Order were still being held there. Most stared at her slack jawed, Molly, and Ron stared at her in disgust. Ginny on the other hand seemed delighted that her friend finally loved someone.
Hermione asked Voldemort to spare Ginny, the twins, and he had already spared Percy. When Ginny was taken out of the cage Hermione ran over and hugged her best friend. After pulling away from the hug Hermione finally saw the sad look in Ginny's eyes.
"Ginny are you ok?" She desperately asked, wondering if her friend was suffering from something she could have prevented.
"No, I was wondering if you could free the twins?" Ginny looked at Hermione with a pleading look.
Hermione chuckled slightly catching Ginny off guard, Ginny's expression turned from pleading to rage. Seeing the way she changed her expression Hermione told her why she was laughing. "Sorry Ginny I didn't mean to laugh at you. To answer your question; would I really let Voldemort kill the twins? You know me better than that. They're right there," Hermione pointed to where the twins were standing cracking jokes to Voldemort. They managed to get him to snort a little before he composed himself. The Weasley twins always had a gift, they could make even the stoniest person crack a smile, they just proved it.
Ginny ran to the boys and hugged them to the point where their faces were almost as red as their hair.
Hermione turned back to the cages with Ron, Molly, Bill, and Charlie. Her expression changed from the smiling girl she was always to a raging demigod witch. Hermione looked at Ron with such hatred that if looks could kill Ron would have been dead that very second.
Hermione then looked at Molly. Her glare sent chills down Molly's back. Molly begged to be forgiven, she had never thought that sweet Hermione would be Voldemort's lover. She never in a million years would have thought that the thought of killing her had crossed Hermione's mind.
Hermione turned back to Ron, the cage door flung open but the only person able to leave was Ron. Ron got out of the cage and faced Hermione. Puffing his chest as a symbol of bravery.
"Ron, what should I do with you? Should I kill you? Make you my slave? Make you kill your own mother? What shall I do?" Hermione circled Ron. Like predators did to prey. "What shall I do? Maybe Bellatrix could teach you a lesson? OH I know." Hermione's grin was malicious and dark. At this point the Death Eaters were getting their interest.
Hermione just killed him. It was mercy compared to all the hideous thoughts that were going through her head. Molly was next. She gave them mercy. She decided against killing Bill and Charlie. They had never actually been rude to her in any sort of way.
Hermione walked to Voldemort and hugged him with tears in her beautiful amber colored eyes. She cried in his dark robes. Her demigod side took over and lightning started bolting out of the sky like crazy. People started running around and things got hectic quickly. Some people were looking back and forth between Hermione and the sky.
Hermione had fallen asleep crying on Voldemort's chest in the middle of Hogwarts ruins. After she fell asleep the sky started to go back to the way it was before.
Voldemort apparated with Hermione wrapped in both of his arms. He tried his hardest to land as softly as he could, checking to see if Hermione was still asleep he carried her to his- their -bedroom.
G.O.V.
Hermione woke up to unfamiliar surroundings but a really comfortable mattress. She tried to sit up but her body refused screaming at her to be rested. Hermione fell on the bed and almost drifted off to sleep. It called her in a seductive way she wanted to fight it but was soon drifting off to sleep.
She woke up again due to some yelling. Recognizing the yelling voice she ran towards it. She finally got there after a few wrong turns. The yelling got louder and louder the closer she got. She stopped when she saw the large oak doors.
Next chapter coming soon! Also Happy New Years!
