Final chapter is up.

Recovering

One week later since Vert was cured from an Obitus Verminosa.

Though, one week ago, BF5 Leader's ghostly paler skin return back to his normal skin tone, along with his blonde hair and blue eyes.

Vert felt great and was allow to leave the medical bay, however, Sage told him that he hasn't fully recover yet as there's one more week left since she told him two weeks that he'll fully recover as he nearly lost his life caused by his Obitus Verminosa. Sage only allows him to stroll around the Hub, outside of his garage and going to Zeke's Diner for lunch. But she does not allow him to take a serious training with his team.

So, Vert let Agura in charge for training days.

Today, the leader of the Battle Force 5 was at the test track with Agura. Their teammates were racing each other as they're ripping up the track quite a lot. "They're sure ripping up the track, right Agura?" Vert said.

"Uh huh," Agura replied before she asked him, "So, how are you feeling right now, Vert?"

"I feel pretty great," he answered, "Although, I'm still recovering my ordeal due to the Obitus Verminosa. But I'm sure I'll be fully recover. Besides, there's only one more week left."

The huntress smiled and nodded, "Good. So that you can get back to kick some alien butts."

Vert chuckled and was about to say when Spinner interrupted, "Hey, guys! It's time for lunch!"

"Alright. Let's hit Zeke's then." Agura said as she went to her Tangler while Vert went over to the Saber.

The Battle Force 5 made their way to the diner and sat down their usual booth. Then, Grace comes up and sees Vert, "Oh, Vert. How're you doing?" She asked him, "Yeah, doing great." He replied, "You sure? 'Cause the last time you were here was the time you coughed out blood quite a lot…" Grace muttered as she shivered a bit after she recalled of what happen with Vert coughing out blood due to his Obitus Verminosa.

"Oh, that?" Vert said with an uneasy smile before saying, "Uhh, well… I'm fine for now on. I'm longer cough out any more blood."

"Really? That's good. But still…that was kinda scary…" She said, "Ahahaha… Yeah… Sorry about that." He apologized, "I just didn't realized that I suffered a major disease."

Grace was shocked to hear that, "You were suffering from a disease?" Which Vert nodded his head in reply, "What was the disease?" She questioned. The BF5 Leader was about to answer when Agura cuts in, "Uh, it's best not to know. Anyways, Grace, we would like our usual orders for our lunch."

"Oh, okay." The waitress headed back to the kitchen to prepare their usual orders for their lunch.

Agura turns to Vert, "I never thought Grace would be that curious about your Obitus Verminosa ordeal."

"Heh, yeah," he said, "But I'm glad that I survived because you guys brought the cure in time. If I were be gone here… You guys can't win against Krytus and his Reds without me. And no doubt that Krytus would destroy Sage if I'm not here."

The BF5 knew he was right. If they hadn't find the cure for Vert, they could not win against Krytus and his Reds without their leader. They'll eventually lose the fight and the Red Sentient 5 would won, and take over the Multiverse.

They were glad that they were able to save Vert's life.
