A few things that I want to say before this chapter starts:

1 , I'm gonna wait till the next few episodes of RWBY come out , so I can incorporate what happens there into this story , although I will need to change a few things here and there. With what we have right now , I don't think I can exactly incorporate a lot of things into my story. I mean , I could , but it wouldn't be the best option. You might not see the next chapter in weeks , but trust me , it's gonna be worth it.

2 , school is a bitch , and we all know it. That's the reason why this story is taking long , I could have made it on the 3rd of December , but Jesus Christ , that's a lot of stuff.

Chapter 2

The Praetor On The Team

Intern: We really need to sort this one out.

Ruby: Are you here to arrest us or what?

Intern: No , but we are figuring out stuff right now.

The gang looked at each other for a second. They were confused as to what to do.

Ruby: Do you mind giving us some time to ourselves?

The Slayer turns around and gets near the door and pulls out his shotgun out of nowhere. The gang goes to Weiss's room.

Weiss: Absolutely no.

Ruby: Wait , why?

Weiss: That guy could be on anyone's side. We can't trust him at all.

Blake: Weiss is right , we don't know who he works with.

Ruby: Well , he wasn't hostile to us , nor was he accompanied by anyone , at least not physically. Maybe he's a hunter who heard what's happening in Mantle.

May: I wouldn't say for sure. That's the first time I've seen anyone like him.

Ruby: If only someone could tell us something.

Intern: But I can.

Everyone jumped , as they didn't expect another voice to just talk.

Ruby: I thought I ended the call.

Intern: And you did. But it's kinda hard to end it for someone with some knowledge on programming.

Weiss: Just end the call and close the scroll Ruby. He's not worth it.

Intern: Wait wait wait , don't do that. If we really wanted to attack you , he would already do that. You are wanted after all.

Blake: Ruby , who is this guy again?

Ruby: He just said to call him Intern.

Intern: Just listen for a second. I know how to get your heads off of the wanted list , I just need some way to connect to that building and hack into it. It won't be fast , but once I'm done , I'll give him an offer he won't be able to refuse.

Whitley overheard their conversation from a far and entered Weiss's room.

Whitley: How do you expect the offer to work? The general wouldn't work with someone like him.

Weiss: I thought I told you to stay in your room.

Whitley: And I did , for some time at least.

Intern: I'll tell him that he can either help us out by removing your heads from the list of wanted and lending us information , or the last thing he sees will be the mark of the beast that the Slayer has on his helmet.

Whitley: Good luck with that , the forces in the academy are massive and will beat down any intruders that come head in.

May: We don't know much about that guy , nobody would be that insane to just run head in to fight the army of Atlas.

The Slayer looked at a window to see the sky get darker. He heard screams and went out through the door , as many Nevermore , Teryx and winged Beringels were flying over Atlas. Though some were shot down , many had gone over and completely ignored the armies shooting at them. Instead , they went for the Schnee Dust Company headquarters. The place the Slayer was dormant in.

After seeing the hordes of Grimm flying towards him , he pulled out his Rocket Launcher , presumably out of nowhere , and used the lock on burst to instantly lock onto one of the Nevermores , and fired. The rockets completely destroyed the Nevermore , though as about 7 Teryx were about to swoop in and get the Slayer , he pulled out the Ballista and fired , killing one , then pulled out the Super Shotgun , meathooked onto one of them , fired , swung himself upwards and punched one of the other remaining 5 in the head , killing it instantly. Then , while he was falling , he took out the Heavy Cannon with micro missiles , and fired. As the shots have some form of homing , some curved and hit the Teryx , and after the bullets exploded , 3 of them started falling down. The Slayer used one as a platform to jump off of , and then took the Heavy Cannon with precision bolt to snipe the remaining 2 , killing them as well. They all fell onto the ground of Atlas. Soldiers were being outnumbered , as they couldn't kill the Grimm in time to get the upper hand. The Slayer fired the Balista's destroyer blade , killing some of the Grimm before hitting a wall. The soldiers were at upmost disbelief , as the man that they shot at earlier had saved them from the Grimm.

The gang knew they couldn't just keep their ground and went to get back to meet up with the Slayer , May staying back to keep Nora safe in case anything happened. They saw the Slayer helping the soldiers group up , showing them to fall back , while he pulled out the Combat Shotgun with sticky bombs , jumped up and fired a shot straight into the mouth of a Nevermore. Then he used the flame belch to burn the same one and then fired once at it , killing it. Then another one tried to swoop in , but the Slayer threw a freeze grenade , which froze the Nevermore. Then he shot it and it burst into frozen shards. He used the Super Shotgun's meathook to get closer to a Beringel , shot at it , killed it and then launched himself further , and shot a rocket in the air , detonating it , killing most of the other Grimm. Ruby stood there with glowing eyes , as she loved seeing powerful weapons like she loves eating cookies. Damn , that joke will be overused in this story , but hey , the Slayer has some of the most badass weapons out there. Anyways , as the rest looked at him completely bloody , the soldiers got a message that the Slayer was to be arrested. Though before they could say anything , he took out the Chaingun with the mobile turret mode and started firing at a Nevermore that was flying in. It shredded through the Nevermore , like shredding cheese. Before it fell , it disintegrated. The Slayer then saw a Beringel running towards him. It punched him in the head , though it's hand was completely broken. The Slayer took out his Chainsaw and ripped it apart , bursting into ammo that the Slayer collected.

It all happened so fast that everyone there just couldn't believe what they saw. Not only did he take on those Grimm by himself , but he did it with no dust , and more importantly , without any aura guarding him. They also saw the ammo flying out of the Grimm. They had no idea what happened nor how it happened , as his Chainsaw instantly disappeared , though they were still in disbelief as to what they saw.

Winter: What just happened?

Ruby: What were those weapons he held?

Blake: How did he take them on with no aura around him?

As they were just standing there , the Intern could barely hold in the laughter , from seeing the looks on their faces turn from somewhat normal to absolutely confused.

A soldier came over to the Slayer , with his gun pointed at him , though the same one that ordered the Slayer to surrender had moved the gun of the other soldier.

He said: We're not gonna shoot the man that saved us.

General Ironwood had seen this through some security footage , and was furious. Before he could give out a command , he got a call from an unknown person on his scroll. He ignored it , however , it just answered on it's own.

Intern: Hello there sir Ironwood. You can call me Intern.

Ironwood tried to end the call , but couldn't.

Intern: It will take more then a push of a button to end the call. I'm here to give you one offer. If your army is filled with people like those soldiers , it won't last for long. Cooperate with us , we can help stop those monsters for good.

Ironwood: It isn't that simple. Even if you could help us , how do we know you're on our side?

Intern: If you see what's in front of you , you'll understand. See the bigger picture.

He looked up , only to see the Slayer standing in front of him. They were both around the same height , but the general was still shocked to see him there.

Ironwood: How did you get here?

Then May showed up.

May: With a bit of help. He saved your own soldiers , yet you put him on wanted list just like the rest of us. Nobody's on your side if you're going to continue your work like this.

The Slayer pumped his Combat Shotgun , as the general got his hand closer to the nearby computer.

Ironwood: You will regret this , soldier.

He then took out his pistols and was about to fire , though the Slayer quickly shot with the precision bolt Heavy Cannon , blowing up one of the pistols , but Ironwood still fired from the other one. The bullet hit the Slayer's exposed part of his right arm , but it did nothing. The Slayer snatched out the other pistol from his hand and threw it away. Ironwood tried to punch the Slayer , however , the Slayer took aim and pulled the trigger. Considering the ammo is Argent Energy based , it's much more powerful than anything Remnant had , and Ironwood's right robotic arm was ripped off after a single shot was fired from the Combat Shotgun. The Slayer then grabbed Ironwood by the neck and threw him. Ironwood noticed that the Slayer had no aura around him.

Ironwood: What the Hell are you...

Intern: You asked for this.

The dot on the Slayer's Praetor Suit went from red to blue. Intern had gotten access to the computer , and then wiped everyone's names from the wanted list. He also looked at some security footage to see the best way to get out. He saw a small prison , which had Robyn , Qrow , Jacques and Watts inside of.

Intern: Anyone here that you know of?

May: That's Robyn and Qrow. I have to get them out of there.

Intern: Okay , it's on the flor below us , second door to the left once you take the elevator. Do look out for soldiers though.

May: I'm the one that got you in here. You just make sure to clear up a path in front of us to get out of here.

Intern: You heard her Slayer.

May did what Intern instructed her to and entered the room. Though she had to beat up a few guardsmen there and put them away.

Robyn: May , what are you doing here?

May: Getting you out. The team is stable , but without you we're not the same.

Intern hacked into the systems and released everyone from their cells. Qrow quickly went and grabbed his sword and looked at Watts and Jacques , who were slowly moving to the door.

Qrow: Back in your cells.

Watts: And you expect us to listen to your orders?

Qrow just held up his sword and pointed it at him.

Grow: Now.

They both went back , as Intern activated the energy shield cells.

Robyn: What's the plan?

May: To get out of here.

They exited the room , and saw many of the AK-200 on the ground , torn apart.

Qrow: What happened here?

Through a destroyed part of a wall they could see the Slayer operating a ship.

May: That guy happened.

Intern: Talk later , just get in.

The 3 of them jumped onto the ship , as the Slayer flew back to the Schnee Dust Company headquarters.

Qrow: So he's the new member of the team?

May: Can't say for sure yet , though it seems to be that way.

Qrow: Got a name stranger?

Qrow took his flask and drank from it , while the Slayer just stayed silent. Both because he was concentrated on flying the damn thing , but also because... he's too badass for it , I don't know.

May: His friend calls him the Doom Slayer , though other then that , we know nothing of him. For now , we can only hope he's on our side , he's good.

The Slayer landed the ship near the SDC headquarters , opened the front and got out of the thing. While the rest were running to the gang wating outside , the Slayer just stared into the red sky. He still didn't know what he was fighting against , but he knew it wouldn't be as big of a problem as the demons , considering each of the Grimm he fought died in a few gun shots , while the demons could tank a lot of hits even from some of his single shot high damaging weapons. And he still needed to get the Crucible's power back to gain the upper hand against the Dark Lord , the only being that stands in his way after he destroyed the life sphere of the Father. If he dies , the Dark Lord will kill any remaining Primeval , Gods that are assigned to a dimension , and will aid the demons , to take over every existing dimension , until it's only Hell. The final battle between the strongest beings...

Over in the Atlas Academy , general got his robot arm replaced and went down to the vault where the Relic Of Creation was held. He knew that the gang would come for it. The best thing he could do , was to surround it with AK-200's. The relic had to be locked in the vault at all times. Otherwise , Salem would get it sooner or later. Or that's what he thought.

The gang had told the Slayer a bit of information , just to be on the same page as them , considering he went through the trouble to help them group up. He got info on the Grimm , Salem , Atlas and the relics , however , he wasn't told what they can do. As the night was coming , Qrow said that he would be on the lookout , but the Slayer was outside of the room , keeping eyes out. Qrow then turned to Robyn , who was still awake. The Slayer could briefely hear them talk , however , one thing took up his mind. The Relic Of Creation that was hidden in the Atlas vault. He thought that , if he could use it to make his Crucible into the sword it used to be , then it's worth getting. Besides his fists , that sword is the ultimate weapon , symbolized by the mark of the beast.

He couldn't stop thinking. If the Grimm are attracted to negative thoughts , why didn't an entire horde of them come to attack him. He knows that his anger and rage surpass that of human limitations , as his rage alone was enough to scare the demons of Hell. However , he didn't understand why he wasn't attacked yet.

Now for the fun part , what the Hell am I gonna do with the next chapter? I'm open to your ideas , but here are some that I have right now. This next part will be a bit spoiler as to what I have in mind for the story itself , so if you don't like spoilers , click off.

If you're like me and don't care , I was thinking of 3 things to do:

1 , put the demons into the story... well this is DOOM , it's not the same without the demon. I think in the next chapter I'll put them as the last part , like a battle scene , and for more portals to apear before leaving it a cliff hanger.

2 , I want to make the Slayer obtain the relic , by first trying to open the vault by touching the door , and then after nothing happens , he just smashes the door. However , at the same time I want him to destroy the relic. We've seen him destroy the life sphere of the Father , so there isn't much that can say the relics are indestructible , so yeah. Could be a nod to how the Slayer doesn't listen to Samuel Hayden and does things his way.

3 , I want to write about how Salem sends her dog... whatever that thing was , to bring a Seer (the crystal ball with tentacles) , and for her to try to make the Slayer come to her side , but for him to grab the Seer and crush it.
