I have no idea how I was able to write this before watching 6th episode , but here I am , with this one. I really tried my best to get good grades in school , and I succeeded , which is why it took much longer to write this story than it did to write the other ones. I hope you understand the reason to the small delay. Well , enjoy.
Chapter 4
Hell On Mantle
The situation couldn't get worse , the river of Grimm was getting to Mantle , portals were opening , sending demons through. Ironwood got out through the front doors.
Ironwood: Taking the relic , only to make a sword and send Atlas down , now it's far from being safe. You have no idea what you...
He saw the giant portals opening farther away from Mantle.
Qrow: Those things coming out of it aren't normal. Only his weapons seem to do some damage.
Ironwood: So what now , you're saying he should fight them alone?
Robyn: We're saying we should stop the Grimm from getting closer , while he stops those... demons.
Ironwood: Superstitious , there's no such things as demons.
The Slayer pointed to the portals. Even from a far , the fire was visible. The Slayer then took his shotgun and looked away.
Ironwood: Wait. This might be of use.
He threw the Slayer a key , which could open an Atlas Airship.
Robyn: Good to see you're finally cooperating.
He turned around and got into it , as the rest followed. The ship went off. Ruby took out her scroll and contacted Intern.
Ruby: These... demons , do we have any chances against them?
Intern: Our planet , Earth , nearly 60% of it was consumed by the invaders , and the number of dead was in billions. Even with weapons built to combat them , we couldn't defeat them. The Argent Energy flows through them , and our research says it's made through torture and refinement of a mortal soul. We also found that many of the demons can take tank shells and even rip apart tanks with ease. With the discovery of Argent Energy , the worldwide crisis of power was stopped , as it could generate more power in a few hours than a nuclear reactor could within a year. Even the weakest of the weakest can survive the strongest of weapons and attacks here. Their hideout , something we named Super Gore Nest , was infested with demons. So much so that when we tried to take it down , most of our forces were destroyed , while the few remaining got back , mostly destroyed. Chances you guys have are pretty minimal , if any , though , as long as the Slayer is here , they won't be able to do much. They need access to this dimension , otherwise , only those portals over there will stay open , but if they get the access , it's gonna be Hell On Earth all over again.
Ironwood: This is too hard to believe. Another planet with humans living on it , dimensional beings. It's just too much to process.
Qrow: You think it was easy for us to understand when he told us? It's the same as when we found out Salem is immortal and that her forces will continue to attack us. We didn't just stop , we continued.
Ironwood: This is even worse than the previous threat , which is why I'm saying it's hard to believe it.
Qrow: Well James , maybe go down there and find out for yourself , when they tear you open and rip out your organs.
Ironwood: Go ahead , run if that's what you're saying.
Robyn: Enough you two. The last thing we want is to go against each other after barely getting back together.
The Slayer opened the back. Robyn was the first that dropped , followed by Qrow.
May: Try not to do something stupid like on Atlas.
The gang dropped , last person being Ironwood , with some of the AK-200's that were in that ship. The Slayer closed the back and continued to drive , towards the portals , crashing onto the ground. He dropped down onto his legs , as he took out his Super Shotgun. The demons , their screams were even louder , as they saw the only thing they ever feared...
On the other hand , while the gang was still flying down , Mantle was already under attack by Grimm. As they landed , each of them started killing the Grimm. Ironwood however , went straight for the portal. He needed to see if he was made a fool by the Intern. Qrow saw it and wanted to stop him , but was attacked by a Nevermore , which he stabbed in the head. Then , Beowolves and Sabers surrounded him.
The Slayer knew one thing and one thing only... The demons rushed at him. He started running at them...
He used the meathook to grab onto one of them , sling himself up and shot down onto the group , making sure nobody got out unscathed. He took out the Rocket Launcher to lock on burst fire at a Hellknight coming at him , killing it instantly. He then took out his Chaingun with the turret mode and fired.
Ironwood had ordered the AK-200's to fire , however , their fire power wasn't powerful enough to damage the demons , barely scratched them. A Cacodemon fired from above , destroying about half of them instantly. Ironwood took out his pistols and fired , however , neither of them did much , barely killed an Imp. He started running to get away. The Slayer sliced down a demon with his chainsaw , and saw Ironwood running. A Cyberdemon had locked onto Ironwood and fired. However , the Slayer quickly swapped his Chaingun's mod to energy shield and activated it just as Ironwood was about to be attacked. He then took out the Crucible and started rushing in , as Ironwood was at a loss of words. One man beating down an army of monsters like it's the most normal thing to do. Slashing away at the demons , the Doom Slayer saw a Titan get through. He instantly jumped onto a Cacodemon , took out it's eye , then used the meathook to get onto another one. Then , he swung himself up and shot the thing with the Balista , giving the Slayer a boost. He then got onto the shoulder of the Titan , jumped , and with one good slice , the Titan's throat was slit. He then grabbed onto the arm of the Titan and flung himself up. As he was falling , he took the Crucible and sliced off the Titan's head. The giant body fell , as the Slayer dropped onto the ground.
From one portal , it was visible. A man in demonic armour. Oposite to the Slayer's. It was him... The Dark Lord...
The Slayer gripped the Crucible harder. The Dark Lord took out something the Slayer saw before... On his base , the demonic Crucible.
Dark Lord: This can all be stopped. All you need to do is drop the sword , and your world , and this one , they won't suffer.
The Slayer , hearing those words , got pissed. Every time someone tells him that , everything goes to shit. He charged at the Dark Lord with murderous intent , swinging the Crucible. The Dark Lord was able to defend , and launched a counter attack , that barely missed the Slayer. The Dark Lord tried to hit the Slayer , however , the Slayer avoided and punched the Dark Lord in the face. The Dark Lord then swung his Crucible up , hitting the Slayer's Crucible and throwing the Slayer off balance. Then , the Dark Lord went in for a quick stab , however , the Slayer quickly hit the Dark Lord's Crucible and avoided the hit. The both hit each other , which caused yet another hole in space. This time however , only the Slayer was sucked in.
A Seer came floating from above , near the Dark Lord. The demons were quick to take aim. The Dark Lord only moved his hand a little , and they all moved away. The Seer fell onto the ground , and projeted Salem.
Dark Lord: What do you want?
Salem: To you I might look like any normal woman , however , I control the forces known as Grimm. With out combined power , we can take down that man , the one that destroyed the Relic Of Creation.
The Dark Lord got closer.
Dark Lord: I have no use of you.
Salem: There's no need for us to-
Dark Lord: I said... I have no use of you.
He grabbed the Seer and destroyed it.
Back on Earth , Intern was looking through the info he had about Remnant , to make a portal to Mantle. Just as the portal was ready , the Slayer got out from behind , with a BFG cell in his hand.
Intern: Got punched through time and space again? Well , at least the info I have about Remnant is enough to open up a portal to Mantle. And... There , it's stable.
The Slayer went through the portal.
Over at Mantle , the gang still fought the hordes of Grimm. Though , there were too many of them. Way too many of them. Qrow turned into a crow and flew up , to see where they're coming from. He saw the river of Grimm and turned back into his human form. While falling down , he slashed through some of the Grimm.
Qrow: Guys , the river over there. The Grimm are coming from there. If we don't block it , it's only gonna get worse.
Weiss: I'm on it.
She then sliced down a Beowolf and turned to the direction of the river. She flung herself up. The Grimm were coming from above as well. They were quickly cut down by Ruby and Blake. Weiss , after landing down , had stabbed the ground , and used her semblance and the ice dust , to freeze the river. It wasn't completely frozen , but most of it was. The Grimm in the still not frozen part of the river had to get onto the land to get any closer to Mantle. However , they all stopped.
The demons were coming. With their leader , the Dark Lord , charging forward. The Grimm went in to attack them , however , just getting close got them killed. The demons had stopped moving , and so did the Dark Lord...
A portal opened. The Slayer was back. He looked at the Dark Lord even angrier than before.
Dark Lord: Give up already. You're no match for me.
The Slayer had snapped , he had some control , but now it was gone. He punched the Dark Lord in the face , knocking him away. The Dark Lord had gotten back up , and clashed fists with the Slayer. This time , nothing happened. No portals were opened , the world itself didn't start shaking. The Slayer hit the Dark Lord even harder. The Dark Lord retaliated back , as the demons were swarming the Doom Slayer. However , the Slayer could care less for them , as they were nothing. The only threat he saw in his eyes was the Dark Lord.
They continued to punch each other , hitting harder every time a punch was thrown. The Slayer , once in his life , had to fight for real. In the past , no threat could kill him , but now with the Dark Lord , it's whoever overpowers the other.
Over at Mantle , the last of the Grimm within it were quickly killed. Good thing none of them got near the Crater , where a lot of people were staying. The Grimm outside of Mantle didn't do anything. They just watched. Watched as the 2 Primevals fought.
Ruby: Those Grimm , they were attacking us a minute ago. Why are they... Oh...
Qrow: They sure weren't kidding. The demons sure are powerful.
From Ironwood's pocket , his scroll was buzzing. He answered.
Intern: You guys said that the Grimm are attracted to the emotions of others? They were attacking you because you were attacking them , but now that the Slayer got mad... There's no saying what could happen now.
Weiss: Wait , even if the demons feel anger , there's no way they could be attracting the Grimm.
Intern: It's not attracting them... It's causing them to feel fear.
Blake: Wait , Grimm aren't smart enough to even know what fear is.
Intern: I don't know what's going on , but whatever it is , they will just stop. I think you guys should use this window of time to kill the Grimm , you won't get a chance like this ever again.
They all watched into the masses , as Qrow lifted up his sword.

I watched episode 6 just before writing this part after ,,to be continued". I thought about what I want to do with the story , and sadly , I see that , no matter what I try , after this one , there will be 2 more chapters , and it will end. 6 chapters in total. Well , I'll say it was a blast writing up until this point , and I'll do my best to finish this before 2020 ends.
I'm not gonna stop with writing though. I've had in mind to write a crossover about DOOM X Warhammer 40K after finishing this story. However , as I have... very low knowledge on the series of WH40K , I don't think it will be any time soon.
