Turn 26: The Star of Madrid
Li Xingke: The evidence we retrieved from Phantom's base nine vials of the virus as well as photographs of the Britannian Embassies
in Madrid, Spain and Jerusalem, Israel. Eight of the vials were la bled with the initials of
the world's industrial nations. The last vial was marked GRIFFIN.
The computer database search tuned up a man named Reginald Griffin serving as the Britannian diplomat in Spain. Griffins behaviour has
been the subject of an internal Foreign Ministry report. He seems
obsessed with protecting a "secure room" in the embassy - an area
normally outside of his jurdisdiction.
Akito: So you're sending me to Spain?
Li Xingke: Yes, We want you to infiltrate Griffins secure room, and find out what
he's hiding, and access his computer records. Because he's a high
level diplomat, this must remain strictly convert investigation.
We're not sure of the extent of the conspiracy, so trust nobody.
Remember too, that the guards are not suspected and may not be
harmed. Rakshata has provided you with a special dart gun that will
tranquillize but not harm the guards. Rakshata has also issued you a pair
"Specs". which can be used to see hidden doors and hatches.
Britannian embassies rely heavily on such security measures.
Suzaku is walking through the UFN HQ's lobby. Ohgi approaches him.
Ohgi: Where are you...
Suzaku: Madrid
Ohgi: Wait. Britannian Embassy? But that is where...
Ohgi: Understood.
Britannian Embassy, Madrid, Spain
Akito come in from the roof. A guard will be on top of the staircase ahead of him. He shoots him with a dart gun. He heads up the staircase and into the doors. He heads up the elevator in the middle of the hallway. Suzaku follows down the same rope Akito climbed down. At the top, Akito gets out and head to the right. You'll soon be inside the kitchen. As Akito walks through, Someone knocks over a pot and make a noise, causing a guard to come in. As the guard comes in and spots Akito, Oldrin knocks the guard out cold.
Akito: Who the hell?
Oldrin: Shhhhhhh. Follow me.
The two shoot the guard behind him near the windows. Oldrin Jumps over the laser alarm, and move along the windows until she finds an open one. Akito uses his Specs and look to the wall on his right, where he should see a small panel. He opens it, and disables the trip-laser. They shoot the guard outside, then jump out. Walk to the edge of the balcony, turn around, and look up. You should see a perforated hatch on the ceiling above the ledge above you.
Akito: Griffin's quarters. The only way is up.
Oldrin: Stay here.
Oldrin climbs up and enters the next floor using the open door. She sees Griffins computer.
Oldrin: My next job is to find the access code. But first I'll need to pick up a Keycard so that I can move around in this restricted area.
In Griffin's quarters, she look around and saw the keycard. She then use the Keycard to open the door on her far right. She slowly walk towards Griffin's desk. He turns him around to find him dead.
Oldrin: Griffin, it looks like he's been tortured to death. Looks like an interrogation gone bad.
She notices two bite wounds on his neck.
Oldrin: Vampire bites.
Then a hand grabs her chin.
Béla: No madame, your eyes do not deceive you. Unfortunately, I am the last thing they will ever see. But for you, your skin is a perfect beauty as so as your eyes.
As he is about to sharpen his fangs into her neck, a sword plunges through his back and into his front.
Suzaku: Béla Kiss, the Vampire of Cinkota. We meet at last.
Béla: A spicy human!
As he pulls the sword out from his body.
Béla: Stupid foolish boy! You think you can kill me!?
He then throws him to the wall.
Oldrin grabs a cross to show Béla, which frightens him away.
Oldrin: You alright?
Suzaku stands up, bleeding from his lower abdomen.
Oldrin: You're hurt. Here let me give you a hand.
She helps Suzaku and uses passcode generator on Griffin's computer Inside Griffin's office and listens to the message:
"Despite our recent setback in Sydney, our plans would not be disrupted. You must receive and deliver our defective merchandise to PHARCOM Industries in Switzerland."
After this, they went back into the room with Griffin's dead body in it, and use the Keycard to open the unopened door. They ran down the stairs on your left, and Oldrin position herself in front of the alarm button so that she can shoot the guard as he runs for the alarm. Now they walk down the passage, and should see another laser, which is now moving. They see a guard, disable him before fiddling around with the laser. As always, there's a hatch to disable it, this time on the right
hand wall, before the painting. They now run forward, and position yourself in front of the alarm button so that the two guards in this area physically cannot get to it.
As they run up to them, Oldrin can easily pick them off using the Dartgun. Now take the elevator down, and run for the main door, Akito subduing the guard as it opens. Run through the door to freedom.
Hotel Santo Mauro
Once the residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro, this luxe hotel set across 3 elegant buildings in the chic Chamberi neighborhood is a 5-minute walk from a metro station and 2.3 km from Plaza Mayor.
Once Akito is asleep in room 15, Oldrin with Suzaku in room 27. Oldrin heals Suzaku with herbs on the wound on the lower abdomen.
Oldrin: Hold still. There.
She stands up.
Oldrin: How do you feel?
Suzaku: A little better.
Oldrin: Good. Maybe it will start out a little better in the morning. For the Glinda Knights, this war is going to get worse, maybe this is the link between PHARCOM and Xylvania of Germany. You remember the message from Griffins computer, You must receive and deliver our defective merchandise to PHARCOM Industries in Switzerland.
Suzaku: Switzerland? Then that means-
Oldrin: It means that PHARCOM is hiding something, that is supplying Phantom with the Nova 12 virus, and he's also supporting the germans with stolen technology that also links Dr. Frankenstein's Experiments.
Suzaku: I see. So what's our first step.
Oldrin starts to removes her clothes off herself.
Oldrin: You should head back to the empress. I'll let Akito back with this imformation to the UFN.
Suzaku stares at Oldrin in amazement, her whole naked body while she holds her arms, covering her breasts. She begins to walk up to him. She then lays her left hand on his chest. She moves her right arm, revealing her breast, and placing her right hand on his chin. Suzaku then places his arms on her back, and slowly they fall onto the bed. They stare at each other.
Suzaku: Oldrin, I want you to give Akito this.
He hands her his cellphone number.
Oldrin: I'll give it to him first thing in the morning.
Oldrin touches his abdomen, he touches hers, she touches his chest, he touches her breasts, then the two fall asleep. Then the next morning Suzaku wakes up to find Oldrin has left.
UFN Headquarters
Li Xingke: Akito, The message you retrieved from Griffins computer contain the name PHARCOM is known as a leader on bio-engineering research. It fits the
evidence that PHARCOM is somehow involved in illegal advancement NOVA 12 virus.
Your mission is to infiltrate PHARCOM and collect any incriminating information. You'll be posing as "Mr Sumerset", a journalist who has arranged an interview with the company's CEO, Thomas Banners. Once inside, look for evidence that will give us an indication of any plans. For this mission, Rakshata has provided you with a micro-camera for taking photo's of sensitive materials. Your Decryptor can be used to hack into PHARCOM's computer mainframes, In addition you also have your
Remote gadget. This device records electronic signals, which can then be used to remotely control the matching machine or computer.
PHARCOM HQ, Swiss Alps
Akito looks out a window.
Assistant: Mr Sumerset? Right this way please.
Akito follows the assistant to Thomas Banners in CEO's office.
Banners: Mr Sumerset. Welcome.
Akito: My pleasure.
Banners: I'm afraid your interview with me is delayed. I have go to deal with a personal thing. In the meantime you can enjoy the view.
He leaves with his assistant.
Akito: I already am.
He looks at Jonathan Phaganson's portrait.
Akito: Leila, Banners must be Phaganson's partner.
Leila: Then you better collect your information and get out Akito. You have only limited amount of time before they'll notice that you're gone, find your evidence and get out of the base before they seal you in.
Akito heads up to the desks at the top of the room. The assistant's desk has a green button that opens a door to the left. Press the button on assistant's desk and head into the opened door. At the end of the hallway, Akito didn't went inside the door. Instead, he takes out his Laser and cut the lock on the vent. He went inside and sneaks around into the next room. He can see through the vent that there's a guard in the room. He Take his time for a nice head shot, then break the lock on the vent, go out, and take a picture of the satellite imagery with the Camera.
Akito: That's interesting.
After snapping a pic of the satellite imagery, he ducks back into the vent and continue until he can see the next room. He waits until he see a guard walking along the right side of the room, heading for the room you were just in. He Shoots him (head shot), then search the left side of the room for another guard. There he sees a model of the Britannian Embassy in Jerusalem, Israel. He takes the goes into the vent on the other side of the room. He Goes down until he can peer into the next room. He Shoost the guard that's inside, then get out of the vent and take a picture of the blueprints of the Alexander in the room with the Camera.
He heads out the door in the office with the blueprints, and he'll see an elevator up ahead. Right before he'll reach it, looks to his right and sees Oldrin kill the guard there.
Akito: Oldrin.
Oldrin: Here, take this.
She hands him a keycard.
Oldrin: Let's go!
Then they head into the elevator. At the bottom of the elevator, they shoot the guard outside as soon as the door opens. Heads through the room and they'll be in a large room with the mainframes. There are two guards here, one coming over to the side you're on, and one going over to the other side. Immediately run over to the other side of the mainframes, where there's a computer with a switch. With the keycard, Akito hits the switch to turn off the alarm.
Computer: Data port alarms disabled.
Oldrin: That'll make things easier.
Now they turn around and take out the two guards in the room. With both guards down, they head behind the rows of mainframes to find a computer with a switch. go into the rows of the mainframes and look for the download areas. Akito takes out the Decryptor and use it while pointing at the areas to access the data. There are three download areas total.
Oldrin: Right, now lets get out of here.
With the data retrieved, they head to the back of the mainframe room. The button to open the door in back will now be green. Oldrin opens it and head down the tunnel until you reach the elevator. They went down and arrive at a series of caverns. In the next room, They can either go through the door or Claw to the ventilation shaft above. Going through the door will alert the guards to their presence, so they take the vent route. Halfway down the vent, they'll be able to see down. Akito Shoot the guard below as he walks by, then break the lock with the Laser and jump down. They Make their way around the catwalk, killing the guards before they can raise the alarm. They run towards the base door just as they close.
They immediately be caught up in a firefight. Oldrin Defeats the sniper on the catwalk ahead, then picks up the SSR4000 and use the scope to kill the enemies below (shooting the oil drums is effective).
Oldrin: (To Akito) Head below, I'll cover you.
Afterwards, Akito head down into the tan-colored room and access the data (where the green light is) with your Remote.
Oldrin: Akito, use remote on the control panel. It should override the door mechanism.
Then they head back up to the catwalk they came in from and enter the door at the end by using the Remote. Inside the door at the end of the catwalk are two guards with heavy body armor. They carry Frinesis, but are luckily awful shots.
Oldrin: (To Akito)Since you don't want to get too close, use a Frinesi of your own to attack them. It shouldtake three or four shots to take them down, so duck for cover behind a turn while reloading.
They Head into the door behind the second guard and shoot the enemy behind there. Quickly they run across the catwalk so the sniper on the other side doesn't hit. They went through both doors of the small building and take out the sniper. They Go back into the little building and climb the ladder.
Oldrin: The tram cable. It's our only chance.
They move next to the hook on the cable to escape.
