A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, way . . .
It watched as Tenebrae took control of the Commander.
It watched as all of the Commander's power wasn't enough to defeat the creature of the void.
It looked through time and space to find what could be different.
A Smuggler who took the underworld.
A Hunter who could match the greatest beasts.
A Consular who formed an alliance, and defeated Tenebrae's Childern.
A Inquisitor who defied death itself.
A Commando who could lead legions.
An Agent who would be a ghost to the galaxy.
A Knight, who defeated Tenebrae more than once.
And a Warrior, who became his Wrath.
However, no matter what it saw, it always ended the same. Tenebrae defeating the Commander. When It tries to merge to timelines together, it would weaken them, resulting in their deaths before it was time.
After eternity grew old, it finally understood. Even if Tenebrae is defeated, the end result would be the same. One day, the Republic would fall, and a new Empire would rise, only to fall once more. No matter which timeline occurs, it would be the same. It was the galaxy's destiny.
It hated destiny. Prophecy. Fate.
It knew what he had to do. It would find champions to replace the eight, and defy the Force. It had to, in order to give the galaxy the best chance it had at finding its own path.
But, where could It find them? It knew the galaxy wasn't the right place, as the Force would simply correct the path.
The Yuuzhan Vong? No, they were still travelling through the endless void to this galaxy, and bringing them early may result in the death of all.
So, where?
Then, It sensed a light. A silver light, stretching across time. Not from It's galaxy, or the Yuuzhan Vong, but from an even further galaxy. One not bound to the tethers of the Force. Eight individuals. Eight friends. A cliche as it sounded, It understood how valuable alliances formed by friendships could be.
However, the distance was too great, and the time that these eight were born was thousands of years after Tenebrae. In order to bring them here, It would need to use all the power It had left. It couldn't bring them to the moment the journey begins, either. They were too young. It would have to send them ten years before they events.
It knew the price. It knew that by doing this, the Dark Side would be able to infect Its mind. It already saw what would happen. It would be freed, but It would seek to destroy. However, It knew they could defeat It, as It had already failed in the other timelines, twice.
It stretched It's power across time and space.
Present Day, Remnant
In the shadow of a shattered moon, in the city of Vale, lies the warrior school called Beacon Academy. The city, just a week ago, had fended off an assault from the monstrous Grimm, with the help of their northern allies Atlas.
In Beacon Academy, in the student dorms, lied team RWBY, led by Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. Across their dorm lied team JNPR, led by Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren. All eight were sleeping peacefully, unaware of what was about to happen.
On top of Beacon Academy, Headmaster Ozpin, considered one of the wisest individuals in all of Remnant, was conversing with James Ironwood, who had taken his spot at providing security for the Vytal Festival Tournament. Then, he saw two tendrils appear in the sky descending towards Beacon.
"What the?" Ozpin stood from his desk.
"What is it?" James replied.
"General, do you not see those?"
"See what?"
Ozpin continued to watch the tendrils as they touched the ground.
"There are two tendrils of light, one white, one black."
"Perhaps your magic, though weak, has allowed you to see them?"
"Perhaps."
The tendrils then began moving towards the dormitories. Opzin saw Glynda, his top teacher at Beacon, making the rounds near there. He pulled out his scroll and contacted her.
"Headmaster?"
"Glynda, there's a strange force moving through the school grounds, heading towards the dormitories. You should see it now. If you can't, then follow my instructions."
Glynda could not see the tendrils as they entered the building. Ozpin used the cameras to follow the tendrils as they snaked across the building.
'What could they be after.' He thought. The tendrils went to a staircase, increasing in speed. When Ozpin told Glynda to go faster, the tendrils doubled their speed. 'They're aware they're being followed.'
The tendrils then split into eight, four white, four black, before bolting into a corridor, then rounding a corner. Two black and white tendrils entered through team JNPR's door, while the others entered RWBY's door.
"Glynda, the tendrils just entered JNPR and RWBY's dorms, move!"
Glynda bolted, however, as she rounded the corner, the tendrils disappeared.
'What did they do?!'
Glynda used her semblance to slam open both doors, however her face showed dread.
"They're...gone."
Ozpin stood in disbelief. Was this Salem's doing? Or, worse, were the Brothers involved somehow?
"Where did they go?"
Author's Notes: And now we enter a new series. This series will have eight separate stories covering each of the 8 class stories from SWTOR. Expect only minor changes to those stories. However, I hope that you'll enjoy this new brand of reading.
As always, leave a review, favorite/follow, and I'll see you next time.
P.S. First person who guess who IT is will get an internet cookie.
UPDATE: I need your help. There are many armor sets in the game, and I don't have the mental capacity to judge who should get what. What I'm asking is...what Cartel armor should each class have at the start. The armor will change at either Story Arc 2 or 3, and those are locked in. But, what armor should they have right at the beginning.
