A/N: This is a continuation of chapter 3. You don't really need to read it to follow along.

Call Me

Weddings were usually not something Twister looked forward to. As a child he associated weddings as events he'd have to wear an uncomfortable suit to while two grown ups got super mushy over each other. As an adult trying to make a way in the entertainment industry he found new reasons to distress weddings. Hollywood weddings were usually affairs with the sole purpose of showing off obscene wealth to five or six hundred near strangers. To make matters worse most people only attended to network instead of celebrating love. The idea of having to wear an uncomfortable suit and tie while two people he barely knew exchanged generic vows they'd probably end up breaking anyways just to gain face time with the "right people" was not his definition of time well spent.

But today's event was different. This wasn't the union of a ridiculously rich industry insider and his twenty two year old bride. No, today was exceptional. Today one of his best friends in the world was marrying the man he loved most in the world. There was something about that that brought joy to his heart. Maybe it was the fact he had someone special he felt the same way about: his Reggie.

It was hard to place exactly when he fell in love with Regina Rocket. She was the girl that lived across the cul de sac. The one he grew up with who always seemed to be a step away his whole life. She grew from a cute kid to an astonishingly beautiful woman. One that was incredibly intelligent, wonderfully kind, and ambitious. At some point he was far gone over her. He had fallen in love with one of his best friends. Realizing he was in love with her had been the best feeling in the world.

Hearing her say it back had been magic. They were both still in high school when it happened. They had been sitting on her front steps enjoying a rare moment alone without Sam and Otto. He remembers how lovely she looked in the moonlight quietly confessing her love for him. He of course returned her affections and they've been together ever since.

And now here they were at a dear friend's wedding splitting a slice of cake and talking about Twister's upcoming trip to France. Unfortunately Reggie, who worked as a high school English teacher these days, would have to miss the premiere.

"This is just so overwhelming! You really worked hard for this and finally it's all falling into place." Reggie said with a smile.

Twister smiled back at his girlfriend. No one was prouder of him than Reggie.

"Yeah the only downside is being away from you, my dear."

"I know, two weeks is going to be brutal." She said. He could hear the dismay in her voice.

Twister reached over and grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. He looked into her eyes. She looked especially beautiful tonight with her fancy updo hairstyle and clingy green dress.

"I'll call you everyday and tell you what I'm doing. And you know I'll miss you everyday. Even though I'm taking you with me in myheart. Like I do everywhere I go."

She smiled at him. "Promise you'll call the moment you get there. You know, so I'll know that you're safe."

"Of course nena." He said as he kissed her hand.

Reggie blushed lightly. The simple gesture took her back to when she and Twister first started dating. When they were still teens and their love still new. When every touch was sweet and shy as they navigated how to show public displays of affection. His love always felt brand new to her. Making her feel youthful even as she approached her thirties.

She hoped they'd feel this way forever. Even after Twister's career takes off and they're dealing with paparazzi, award seasons, groupies and seven figure bank accounts. She still wanted her man to make her feel like that sixteen year old girl in love for the first time.

A/N: This was a request from barbieparty23. I hope you like it. It's a little light on the dialogue but hopefully the pure fluff makes up for that. The song used was Call Me by Aretha Franklin. Some of the lyrics were used in the dialogue too. I hope you all enjoyed. Don't forget to review.
