A/N: I will try to update every day but thats not a promise, I may end up only updating weekly but lets get in with the next chapter. Also Lily ans James will be revived and Voldemort is fake, Dumbledore created him and is old Moldyshorts! Okay lets start. I'm looking at Harry getting resorted so what house or shoud i move him to a different school?

Chapter 4: Home

"What do we do now?" asked Harry.

"I'm going to take you to my house if thats alright?" The older man replied.

"Yeah, I would like that." The raven haired boy said his voice full of hope.

"Thats settled then, we'll get your stuff and take a portkey to my house."

Harry nodded.

The two gathered Harry's things and took the portkey. They arrived at a cottage in the woods which Harry thought was quite homely. "I know its not much but it's completely safe, im just going to key the wards so that Dumbledore can't get in," The sandy haired man "The spare room is down the hall to the left."

"Thanks, see you in a bit."

After Harry had unpacked Remus had made lunch for them. It was tomato soup with bread rolls and pumpkin juice. "So you knew my parents?" Harry aksed before he started eating.

"Yes, I was your father best friend and your mother's study partner."

"Can you tell me about them?"

"I met James in our first year after the feast me and the rat introduced ourselves, I became lily's study partner in second year." Remus said before eating a bit.

"Me, James, Sirius and the rat had a group that we called the Marauders and we gave eachother nicknames, I am Moony, Your Dad was Prongs and Sirius is Padfoot."

"Cool, did you play quidditch with dad?"

"No, I didn't, personally I dislike heights."

"Oh."

They stayed in their thoughts for the rest of the meal until the floo went green.

"Remus?" A voice called out.

"Come on through Amelia." Remus replied.

Harry was back in his room when he heard Remus call him.

"Sirius has a trial tomorrow, if all goes well he can get custody from Dumbledore."

"Okay! That's good." The younger boy exclaimed excitedly. Amelia let them know what time it would be and that Dumbledore wouldn't be there.

Harry went back to his room.

'I can't believe my luck! I finally got away from the dursleys and now I can have a family! I also read in the letter that I will be able to bring back my parents. I will tell Remus and Sirus when Sirius is free. So much has happened in this past week.'

Harry thought to himself.

"I can't wait to have a family."
