A/N: I do not own HP or Avengers or GoT. Got it?
Summary: She was fed up. Everyone she cared an inch about was dead; gone; not coming back. What about the rest of them, the ones alive? She could care less about them. Voldemort? She owed them nothing, she was not their personal toy to hail or hate – she was herself, and she damn well would be.
Note:So, yes, my female Harry does not have that self-sacrificing-ness, but, in my opinion, she was...mistreated...by the Dursleys, and that could have to results: canon-Harry or a person who looks at the world with an 'I don't care' outlook. I am using the latter. Bear in mind this is Post-OOTP, so her opinions could have changed drastically, what with Dumbledore hiding all the information and then Sirius getting killed. Yes, she does hold a soft spot for Remus but that's that; her relationship with him is not the Sirius-Harry or James&Lily-Harry relationship...or the Cedric-femHarry. I like it when Goblins are helpful and I like the Harry is a Targaryen thing, so, expect it. This is a female-Harry-who-runs-away-and-lives-her-life FanFiction, so: don't like, then, don't read. Also, since there is a huge problem on whether to use Charlus and Dorea or Fleamont and and Euphemia as Harry's grandparents, I'm creating OCs.
Alyssaendra Astrid Lilith Potter-Black was glaring at the wall in her room.
She was fed up. Everyone she cared about – even just an inch – was dead; gone; not coming back. Her parents, her grandparents, Cedric and Sirius. The last one hit hard, and it very well explained to her what would happen in this war.
When they were at Grimmauld Place, Sirius had noticed that she respected the Weasleys and Hermione – only respected, nothing more. He had confronted her about it, and she asked him if he would hate her should she tell the truth, he said he wouldn't, normally Allie would take a person's word with a pinch of salt, he was sincere and Allie knew it. She confessed how she was scared about getting attached to people, how she didn't want to get attached because it would only bring pain, because, through her luck, they would either die early or betray her – even the slightest hurt; he only told her she was like her grandmother and namesake.
She had asked, then, what her grandmother was like.
'A queen. Well, she was a queen, so can't really say that it's a description but still. She carried herself with poise and dignity; bore whatever Fate threw at her with ease and grace. Men had all but thrown themselves at her but she remained steadfast in her decision to want to marry Edward, and kept on trying till he agreed – she was stubborn to a fault, always making sure she gets what she wants. She didn't like getting attached to people – her family had been murdered and the people responsible for their safety had killed them, betrayed them; the loyal ones were killed, after that, she didn't get attached to anyone but Uncle Ed and James. I know no one has told you about your family, but this summer, I will, I swear. By the way, your grandmother was Alyssaendra Rhaenys Potter née Targaryen, daughter of Rhaegar Targeryen and Elia Targaryen née Martell.'
In this war: people would die. People she respected, perhaps even cared one tiny bit about. She didn't want that; or at least, be near that.
That moment, she decided something.
She would run away.
What about the people who cared about her? She couldn't care less about what they thought about this. The threat of Voldemort? She wasn't honour-bound to kill him, it wasn't her duty; Dumbledore and his prophecy could go drown in the Pacific Ocean for all she cared – she didn't believe a word out of Trelawney's mouth or in Divination.
She owed the wizarding world nothing, she wasn't their favourite toy to hail as the Saviour at one moment and slander her, call her the next Dark Lady, the next. She was herself, and she damn well would be.
She was Alyssaendra Astrid Lilith Potter-Black, and she was no one's puppet.
She was Alyssaendra Astrid Lilith Potter-Black, and she would get what she wanted; even if that was leaving her past behind and running away.
She sighed and began writing letters that would be her last message to the people here; then she would cut all contact.
To the Weasleys and Hermione,
Hey. So, well, I can't handle it. I'm leaving.
I know some of you would call it running from my problems and I would agree. Look, I'm sorry, but Wizarding Britain is not my piece of Treacle Tart anymore.
I want you to know that I respect you all greatly and am thankful for giving me a home. I'm going to go on a vacation to Spain or something till...well, forever.
Sorry for the awfully short letter,
Alyssaendra 'Allie' Astrid Lilith Potter-Black,
First-born of James Potter and Lillian Potter née Evans,
The Dragon of Gryffindor.
Allie smiled at the letter, 'The Dragon of Gryffindor' was a nickname given to her by the Weasley Twins after she showed her fierce side – it stuck.
To the Head of Houses of Hogwarts,
I hope you are all doing well.
But I didn't write this letter to exchange pleasantries, I have business. I'm going for a vacation to Spain or somewhere, preferably forever. Just letting you know.
You are all wonderful teachers who helped me quite a bit when I was eleven and new to everything. I remember being impulsive and jumping on my broom, instead of expelling me, Professor McGonagall made me Seeker, and I'm forever grateful for that. When all the lessons got too serious, Professor Flitwick came in all his glory and fun classes, so, got to thank you for that. Professor Sprout was the kind, soft hand that we impulsive, non-thinking, prideful students needed. And lastly, Professor Snape, thanks for teaching Potions in your own way and thank you for looking out for me.
So, thank you for everything.
Though, could you give Dumbledore a boot to the head from me? I really don't like him at the moment. Just a request.
My respect in you all is unwavering,
Alyssaendra 'Allie' Astrid Lilith Potter-Black,
First-born of James Potter and Lillian Potter née Evans,
Lioness of Hogwarts.
Again, 'Lioness of Hogwarts' was a moniker given to her that had become increasingly popular among the teachers.
Albus Dumbledore,
First of all, a metaphorical boot to the head to you.
That prophecy – and you, for that matter – can go drown in the Pacific Ocean for all I care. It isn't my duty to kill Voldie.
I'm leaving Britain.
Bye,
Alyssaendra 'Allie' Astrid Lilith Potter-Black,
First-born of James Potter and Lillian Potter née Evans,
She-wolf of House Potter.
The 'she-wolf of House Potter' was a comment made by a Black ancestor, and it somehow frightened Dumb-old-door.
Professor Snape,
I don't know what I've done to you but I'm sorry.
I'm not my father,
Alyssaendra 'Allie' Astrid Lilith Potter-Black,
First-born of James Potter and Lillian Potter née Evans,
That insufferable little brat.
Now, for the tricky letters.
Narcissa,
'ValarMorghulis' - All men must die. But you are not a man, leave with your son, it is safer for you that way.
Valaena Targaryen II
Bellatrix,
'ValarDohaeris' - All men must serve. But you are not a man, stop serving him. He is but a filthy half-blood, son of a muggle and near-squib.
Valaena Targaryen II
Amelia Bones,
The power is always taken, no matter how willingly or unwillingly given. Take it; you would be a better Minister.
Valaena Targaryen II
Draco,
You are you. You are not your father and have no need to be. You are Draconis Malfoy. Remember that.
Valaena Targaryen II
Nymphadora and Andromeda Tonks,
'Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.' – You are the women of House Black, stop acting like you aren't. Be proud of your heritage, it isn't something to be ashamed of, Astrælla Black I would be rolling in her grave if you think that.
Valaena Targaryen II
Lord Voldemort,
A word of advice for the Dark Lord: 'Power is always fleeting.' Cease this madness.
Valaena Targaryen II
Surprisingly, those letters had come naturally – as if her magic was guiding her. Valaena Targaryen II, yes, she liked that. Off to America.
What? The hat had said she would do well in Slytherin, so everyone would try finding her in Spain or some part of Europe. About Bella, well, she just needed to get the correct information out, and no, she wasn't a blood-purist. Bellatrix just needed a push; she had promised Sirius she would try to help his cousins.
She waited patiently in the line.
"I would like to meet Account Manager Silverblade."
"Lady Potter, a pleasure to meet you as always. Griphook, take her to Silverblade."
Allie was beyond pissed off about the Horcrux business, and that one of them was in her head. To taint Magic itself like that...
She had gotten all her belongings under the name 'Alyssaendra Valaena Targaryen' to America and she had changed her appearance to appear like her grandmother – permanently.
So, now she had: deep violet eyes, silver-gold hair and very pale skin; she was taller too. No one would be able to connect the dots joining her to Allie Potter, and she was happy about that.
And she left on an airplane to New York.
It had been a good few months since she left Britain. She had found an unusual friend in 'Natalie Rushman', who was, in truth, Natasha Romanoff.
When she learned her cover had been blown, she didn't complain because she trusted Valaena – that was what Allie called herself now.
They both had 'Trust Issues' as Tony had very kindly put them.
Yes, she had been introduced to the Avengers and Fury had very likely thanked fate for her when she told everyone what she could do.
Yes, she had broken the Statute of Secrecy. No, she didn't care.
Then one day, Natasha had kissed her; Valaena had kissed back. Loki (who had redeemed himself) had captured it on camera.
Maybe, maybe, this could work, they had thought – and it did.
Valaena was happy.
Who cared what people from across the Sea thought? It was her life and she would live it to her standards.
She knew her parents, grandparents and Sirius would be proud of her for finding a life for herself.
Omake: Aftermath of the letters to Bella, Andi, Cissa, Tonks, Draco, Voldie and Madam Bones.
In Gringotts ~
"Why should I serve that filthy half-blood any way?" Bellatrix wondered, and decided that: no, she shouldn't serve him.
"Is there a way you could help me? I don't want to only be known as a Lucius Malfoy Junior." Draco told them.
"I have come here to find a property to live in, any belonging to the Blacks would do." Narcissa spoke with her regal air.
The Goblins wondered what the 'She-wolf of House Potter' had done, but were content nonetheless. Riddle's major funding – the Black money – was gone, if Lucius died or went to Azkaban, Malfoy money would go too.
In the Ministry ~
"I'm Nymphadora Tonks-Black, but don't use my first name. This is my mother – Andromeda Tonks-Black or Tonks née Black."
"I see," the man said, "Thank you for introducing them to me, Minister Bones."
In Hell ~
The Dark Lord Voldemort wondered if he should have heeded that 'Valaena Targaryen II's advice...
A/N: How was it? This just came into my head and I wanted to write it, so here it is. Please give me ideas for 'Black Secrets'!
