Chapter 8: Dumbledore did what?
Harry was laying on his bed in his wing.
He was so happy he finally had a family. He had just remembered he needed to contact Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel, he would do that tomorrow. He had just explained the situation to his now favourite Weasley brothers. Out of the blue he heard, "Boys come here!" It was Sirius' voice so he thought it was an emergency. He scrambled out of bed and ran to the common room.
"Yeah?" Harry asked while looking around the room, Fred and George were in the sofa and Bill and Charlie were standing.
"Dumbledore escaped." Remus said.
"You're joking right?" Bill asked.
"No, and we need to update the wards so is there anyone we need to add?" Sirius asked.
"Um, Hermione, Luna and Neville." Harry said quietly.
"Fred, George?" Remus inquired.
"Lee Jordan." They said in unison.
"Bill, Charlie?"
"Dora Tonks." Charlie answered.
"Alrighty, Bill can you come and help, everyone else can go back to bed." Remus said.
As Harry was on his way to his room he had an idea. He sat down at the desk in his room and started writing to Hermione.
Dear Hermione,You've probably seen the paper by now. I was wondering if you would want to stay at Potter Manor? Dumbledore escaped and is on the loose so I thought ut would be safer. Please reply ASAPLove, Harry.He attached it to Hedwigs leg and set her flying.
Sirius was looking at the ward book.
He crossed out Albus Dumbledores name and Peters, then added: Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, Lee Jordan and Nymphadora Tonks. He then went up to his and Remus' bedroom and fell asleep on the bed.
The morning came quickly. Sirius made pancakes and now they were sat in the dining room eating. "Sirius, do you want to play quidditch with us later?" Charlie asked.
"Sure." Sirius replied as Hedwig swooped in.
"Whose that from?" Fred teased.
"Hermione."
It read:
Dear Harry,I would love to come to Potter Manor, tge only problem is that I don't have a floo, please could you pick me up? I can't believe Ronald, he even tried owling me!Obviously I didn't reply. Is anyone else staying with you?Lots of Love Hermione."Let me guess, she wants to stay here?" Sirius Joked.
"Yeah but she doesn't have a floo so she asked if we could pick her up."
"Okay but no more people." Remus siad slowly.
He then wrote back:
Dear Hermione,We will come and pick you up. The only people here are : Sirius, Remus, Bill Charlie, Fred and George. Those are the only Weasley's we can trust. We will come at 4pm todaylot's of love HarryAfter breakfast they went and played quidditch. There were two teams:
Harry's Team and Charlie's team.
Bill and Sirius were on Harry's and Fred and George were on Charlie's. Remus was referee. In the end Harry's team won Because he caught the snich. Before they knew it was time to get Hermione.
"Me and Remus will apperate and get her." Sirius said.
"Alrighty." Harry replied.
A little while later Hermione appeared.
She ran up and bear hugged Harry.
"Hello Hermione!"
"Hi Harry." She said as she pulled away blushing.
"As I said in my letter, Dumbledore escaped, he's out to get me and anyone who is close to me."
"Dumbledore did what?"
