Dear Diary,
It's my first night at Hogwarts! I got sorted into Hufflepuff! I have already made a friend, she's in Gryffindor though, her name is Hermione Granger. My head of house is really nice, her name is Professor Sprout. The dorms are really nice, I'm sharing with Susan Bones, Hannah Abbot and a girl called Cassiopeia Williamson. I also made friends with Cassie (she prefers to be called that). The feast was so good! Pumpkin juice is so sweet and lovely! I wish mum and dad could see this though. Our common room is yellow (our house colour) and it has two large sofas and two comfy arm chairs armed with fluffy pillows and blankets. This castle is beyond amazing! The staircases are quite confusing, they move! Anyway, I should probably go to bed, it's quite late.
