Dear Diary,
Day 3 of Hogwarts. Today we had our first flying lesson! Terry Boot (a Ravenclaw) took my lucky charm (it's a star braclet) and took off in the air. Madam Hooch wasn't present because Susan fell off her broom. I flew after him and when he threw it I signed for it and caught it. I felt victorious. That was until Professor Sprout came out and took me to Ced. Ced is the captain of the quidditch team, he plays chaser. Then I got on the team! I'm the seeker! Cassie was overly excited for me, Hermione made sure I had read all the rules and Harry congratulated me! It's also crazy that both me and Harry are the youngest seekers of the century! He's on the Gryffindor team too! Anyway, me, Cassie and Hermione have been helping eachother with out homework! I'm so lucky to have such good friends! There's this other boy who hangs out with Harry too, his name is Ronald Weasley. He's quite rude and jealous of Harry but Harry doesn't notice, he'll get his comeuppance. Snape was so mean today, he asked us muggleborns things that we wouldn't know because we're new to the wizarding world and then took points because we didn't know. What an idiot. I am really excited to learn new things, even if it means not seeing my parents and siblings for a while.
