A/N: SOOO sorry for not posting this a lot sooner folks! I honestly didn't think I could get the response I got. Anyway, after much deliberation I decided to write this in the same format as Yarheeguy wrote his MHA watches the MCU. (You'll find that story in the crossover section for My Hero Academia) By that I mean that I will be posting the time stamps of the scenes and in order for you guys to follow along, you'll have to watch Ratatouille on Disney+ or other streaming sites that has it. The moment Megumi pressed play, everyone watched as the Disney and Pixar logos came on the screen.
"So it's a Disney movie?" Soma said, smiling a bit.
"I saw a few Disney movies when I was younger." Erina added, also smiling. "I actually enjoyed them."
"Yeah, you can't go wrong with Disney!" Yuki cheered. (1)

"Wow," Ryoko said hearing the narrator of the documentary on the fictional TV set saying that the best food is made in Paris, France. "They really like to think that they make the best food?"
"Well, it's not unusual for other countries to claim that they have the best food." Erina shrugged. "But I do have to admit, Paris does have some of the best restaurants in the world."
"Have you been to Paris before, Miss Erina?" Megumi asked.
"Certainly," Erina nodded. "While some of the restaurants were lackluster, at best, only a select few were enough to please my palate."

"Auguste Gusteau?" Shun repeated the man's name.
"Sounds like his name is a play on the word gusto." Ikumi said.

"Boy he's chubbier than you, Isami." Takumi commented to his brother.
"Heh, well I have no comment on that." Isami chuckled before looking back at the screen. "Still, he was that young to get that high a rating for his restaurant?"
"And his restaurant must be pretty popular if you have to book 5 months in advance." Yuki commented.
"Well naturally," Hisako said, crossing her arms. "The sign for his restaurant did have five stars so it must be a good one."

"'Anyone Can Cook?'" Erina raised her eyebrow at the title. "Does Gusteau really believe that, or is he just paraphrasing the title to sell it?"
"Well it is a cookbook, Erina." Hisako said, turning to her friend. "Chefs will sell some of their recipes in order to promote their name, restaurant, and food."
"I know Hisako," Erina replied. "I just have a very hard time believing the idea of anyone being able to cook."
"Well, I wouldn't mind seeing if I can buy that book." Soma said, being one of the few in the room who likes the title. "Maybe I can get some ideas from it."
Erina narrowed her eyes at the red-haired boy and decided to say nothing before turning to the movie again.

"Anton Ego?" Daigo read the man's name.
"The Grim Eater?" Shoji read the man's nickname.
"I don't like the sound of that." Ikumi said, feeling a chill as she read the man's name and nickname.

Almost immediately everyone was reminded of not only Erina, but her father and everyone else who followed the ideology of what real food is when Ego stated his opinion on Gusteau's view on cooking.
"Something tells me that he's the main antagonist." Satoshi said as he watched as Ego brushed his lap as though he were to dust himself off of something disgusting after putting Gusteau's book off to the side.
"Well," Megumi started. "He is one of them, but he's not the main antagonist."
"So who is the main antagonist then?" Fumio asked her.
"I won't say," Megumi said shaking her head with a knowing smile. "I don't want to spoil anything."
"Personally, I agree with Ego." Erina said, crossing her arms.
"You would." Yuki muttered quietly.
"Seriously," Erina continued. "The idea of anyone being able to cook something is rather ludicrous! That's like saying anyone can paint, or anyone can fly a plane. I seriously doubt what Gusteau says on his book is believable."
"I don't know," Soma said as he put his arms behind his head. "I've surprised many food critics with the food I made and they all believed that because I was a diner chef that I wouldn't amount to anything."
Erina glared at him. "You still have yet to impress me, Soma."
"I'll get you to admit it someday, just you wait!" Soma said with determination.

"Huh, looks like a farmhouse." Isami commented as the screen went black and then faded to a new scene.

"What's going on in there?" Zenji asked as the camera started to zoom in on the farmhouse.
"I think I have a pretty good idea." Takumi answered for everyone.
"Sounds like a murder going on in there!" Yuki exclaimed with a pale face only to have Megumi giggle.
"Don't be ridiculous," Hisako admonished her. "It's obviously the owner trying to kill something."

"So is this Remy?" Ryoko asked while looking at Megumi.
"That's him." Megumi nodded.
"What's that book he's carrying?" Yuki squinted at the book.
"Looks like a cook book." Isami answered.
"You don't think it's Gusteau's do you?" Takumi asked.

The girls, minus Megumi, all shuddered at the sight of all of the rats on screen going towards what seems to be a box full of garbage.
"If I saw all those rats I think I would be sick." Erina said weakly.
"Can't blame ya there." Soma said, also looking a bit pale at the sight of the rats.

Everyone was a bit surprised at what they heard and saw on screen as Remy explained that he had a strong sense of smell and taste. What shocked them even more was how he managed to sniff out the ingredients of the cake that was in the garbage.
"Wow! It's like he's got Akira's nose and your tongue Erina." Soma said in surprise.
"I have to admit, that is rather impressive." Erina conceded as she was also mildly impressed with Remy being able to sense all of that in the cake.

"So his brother is easily impressed and his dad is never impressed?" Isami said as he watched Remy introduce his family. "Kinda reminds me of a few people here at school."
"I'll say," Soma agreed. "There are some people at this school that are just so hard to impress. Present company included." He directed that last bit towards Erina.
"Hmph, and it will never happen Soma." Erina stuck her nose up at him and continued to watch the movie.

"Why'd he stop his dad from eating that?" Ryoko asked as they watched Remy sniff the apple core.
"There's gotta be something in it." Zenji said, adjusting his glasses.
"My guess, rat poison." Hisako deadpanned.

"Good call Hisako." Ikumi commented as they watched Remy sniff out boxes of rat poison.
"Suppose it shouldn't come as a surprise." Fumio said, crossing her arms. "I had to use rat poison quite a few times to get rid of some rats before you kids came along."
"Wait, what!?" Yuki and the others all looked at Fumio in shock.
Fumio said nothing and simply focused on the movie.

Everyone deadpanned as they saw what Remy's dad has had him do now that he knew Remy's gift was indeed impressive.
"Seriously?" Daigo questioned. "The dude's got a powerful nose and his dad made him the poison checker?"
"I guess I can honestly understand why Remy feels like he's being used." Erina said, knowing somewhat how Remy feels considering what her father had been making her do since she was a child.
"Sheesh, with a nose like his he could be more than that." Soma said, also a little disappointed in what Remy's dad is doing.

"You know, they both have pretty solid arguments." Soma commented.
"I…honestly have no opinions on this." Erina said bewildered.
"Well, technically they are thieves," Takumi crossed his arms as he watched. "They are stealing garbage."
"But by that same token, garbage is waste that we humans don't want," Isami added with his brother. "And as the saying goes, 'One man's garbage is another man's treasure.' Or in this case, a rat's treasure."
"But it's still stealing isn't it?" Hisako counter-argued. "Garbage or not they shouldn't steal it."
They then watched as Remy pushed his rotten strawberry away from him and they see Remy's dad make a good argument when it comes to food.
"He's got a point." Shoji pointed out.
Erina sighed. "That may be true, but that doesn't mean you should just eat whatever's put in front of you."
"Better to eat nasty food and have a full stomach than be picky and go hungry, if you ask me." Soma said.
"No one did." Erina snarled at him.

"Well if the shokugekis we've been having are any indication, Remy's right on that point." Ryoko commented as Remy snuck into the house.
Marui adjusted his glasses and said, "Creativity is part of being a chef. After all, being creative is what can make some of the most mundane dishes look like works of art."
"I get what you mean." Ikumi agreed. "After all, food has to look appetizing too."
They then saw who was on the TV in the movie.
"Hey it's Gusteau!" Soma pointed out.

"You know," Fumio pondered as she mulled Gusteau's words. "Gusteau is right when it comes to food."
"Yeah…" Soma nodded. "I think I understand what he's talking about too."
They then watch as Remy takes a piece of cheese and a strawberry and eats them while music unique to both of them play out.
"I get it now." Yuki said as she watched. "One flavor by itself is just a single instrument while another flavor is like a different one."
"And combining the two, it's like a new symphony." Ryoko added.
"That's…actually quite poetic." Erina said, actually impressed with the way Gusteau had put it.
"Which is why we humans tend to mix flavors together," Isshiki said. "A single, boring flavor is just not enough for us."

They all held their breaths as Remy managed to get out of the kitchen in time to see the owner of the farmhouse turn off her TV.
"Whew," Ryoko sighed in relief. "Almost got caught that time."

"A mushroom?" Daigo raised his eyebrow.
"What kind of mushroom is that?" Soma asked.
"From the looks of it," Hisako answered, looking closely at the said mushroom. "It looks like a Chanterelle. It's a mushroom quite common in Eurasia."
"Chanterelles are edible and can be used to make soufflés, sauces, sautés, and soups." Erina explained "I'm not that surprised that Remy is deciding to cook it if that's what he's planning on doing."
"Huh," Soma thought it over. "I wonder what I could make using one of those."
They then watched as Remy approached his brother Emile, who was eating out of a garbage can (much to almost everyone's disgust) and showed him the mushroom.
"So he's gonna get his brother to help him?" Ryoko said.
"At least his brother is cool enough for Remy to be himself." Yuki commented.

"Even I know better to wash my hands before I handle food." Soma said as he watched Remy answer his brother.
"At least you keep yourself clean." Erina muttered appreciatively.
"And I highly doubt a rat walking on two legs is too much cause for concern." Takumi commented.

"Tomme de chèvre de pays?" Yuki tentatively repeated the name of the cheese Emile had in the bag.
"Tomme is a type of cheese made from areas in the French and Swiss Alps." Erina explained. "Tomme de chèvre is a mild, but sweet cheese made from goat's milk."
"It's somewhat soft and can easily melt and is commonly used in a few potato dishes in France." Hisako added in. "If Remy can melt it with his mushroom it could give it a really nice flavor."
They then saw him pick some rosemary from the ground and added a few drops from the sweet grass.
"That's actually a good idea," Erina said, slightly impressed. "If he can melt the cheese over something like a fire and mix in the rosemary, the water from the sweet grass can balance out the smokiness and the dryness of the mushroom."
"Question is where's he going to smoke his mushroom?" Shun asked, being proficient in using smoke for his cooking.

"Using the smoke from the chimney?" Isami questioned.
"Well, depending on what kind of wood is burning in the fireplace, that actually might work." Shun nodded.
"But how is he gonna cook it over the chimney?" Yuki asked before the scene changed to Remy rotating the mushroom on the TV antenna like a cooking spit. "Oh, that works."

"Uh, should they really be on the roof just as a storm is getting closer?" Ryoko questioned as they watched the rain clouds in the distance on screen.
"Yeah, I wouldn't wanna be out there cooking either." Shoji commented.
They all jumped just as the two rats got struck by lightning.
"Woah!"
"How are they still alive after that?!" Ikumi exclaimed. "They should be fried to a crisp!"
Isshiki crossed his arms and said, "Cartoon logic, Nikumi. Cartoon logic." Surprisingly, nobody had any argument against that. (2)

"That's um…" Hisako slowly said. "An interesting way to describe the taste."
"'Lightningy?'" Daigo repeated the term. "That's not quite how I would call it."
"Yeah, I would say it has an…electrifying…taste?" Shoji agreed.
They watched as Remy excitedly said he wanted to try again.
"Ok, I may be crazy enough to make purposefully bad recipes," Soma said. "But even I'm smart enough not to wanna get zapped by lightning just to cook something."
"At least you have common sense." Erina conceded, actually agreeing with him…for once.

"Well, a little saffron could make it." Yuki agreed. "But where are they gonna get saffron in…oh no." Yuki's eyes widened, as did everyone else's except Megumi's.
"In the kitchen!" They all said at the same time as Remy and Emile.

Everyone looked about as tense as Emile as they saw Remy look through the spice rack.
"I do not wanna be in their position right now." Takumi commented.
"Certainly not as a rat." Shun agreed.
They then heard Remy explain about how the old lady usually falls asleep after putting on the cooking channel.
"Even so, Remy, it's too dangerous for a rat like you!" Ikumi exclaimed at the TV.

"I'm sure Remy's just exaggerating the 'million times' part." Hisako said, a little nervous about their situation.
They then saw Remy reveal the cook book.
"Hey, it's Gusteau's book!" Yuki pointed out.
"I guess the old lady likes his recipes." Soma said appreciatively.

"Wow," Ryoko said. "So he can read and cook?"
They then got a laugh at what Remy said next.
"Ha ha! Too bad his dad isn't there, because that was a sweet burn!" Daigo chuckled.
They then see Emile rant and ask why Remy lets him get away with stuff.
"Maybe because you're easy to manipulate Emile?" Hisako rhetorically asked.

"They're getting themselves in trouble, that's what!" Yuki exclaimed.
"Calm down Yuki." Fumio chided her.
"Sorry."

"L'Aquila saffron?" Soma echoed Remy.
"Arguably the best saffron in the world." Takumi commented with a little smugness.
"Huh, I wonder if Akira has some." Soma wondered.

"Hey it's Gusteau again." Ryoko said as they saw Remy move a little closer to the TV.
They then listened as Gusteau gave an impassioned speech about his view on cooking. The more they listened, the more they began to understand what he's talking about. The ones who had felt the most impact on what Gusteau was saying were Soma, Megumi, and the Aldini brothers.
"Wow…that was beautiful." Yuki said being teary eyed.
"I'm starting to really like this Gusteau guy." Daigo said smiling.
Erina, on the other hand…while she understood what Gusteau was saying, but when he got to where he truly believed that anyone can cook, that was where she had her doubts. Sure she had her doubts about Soma when he first came to Totsuki and even wanted to see him flunk out of the school at first. But at least with Soma she learned that he was the son of her idol and had learned many cooking techniques from him while working in his family's diner. But what Gusteau was saying was nonsense in her point of view. Like she said earlier, it was like saying that anyone can be an artist; which was impossible.
Still, she had to admit, before he got to the part where he truly believed in his words "anyone can cook", he made some really good points.

"Wait what?" Soma said as the TV announcer said that it was not to last.
Everyone else frowned at this as well, not liking where this was going.

"Wait, Ego ate some of his food and hated it!?" Yuki cried.
"Jeez, the jerk." Shoji grumbled.
What they heard next made all of them sad.
"He…he died?" Ryoko softly said.
"Dude…that sucks." Daigo commented in a low voice.

"Uh oh!" Yuki exclaimed as they saw the old lady turn the TV off and wake up.
"Busted!" Daigo and Shoji exclaimed together.

They all chuckled a little but still paled when they saw her point a gun at the two rats.
"Run for it you two!" Yuki cried out as the old lady shot at them.
"Yeah, Emile, you don't want her to find your colony do you!?" Shoji added to Remy's cry.

They all flinched each time the old lady fired her shotgun at Emile and Yuki actually covered her eyes when it looked like she had Emile cornered.
"Huh?" Yuki uncovered her eyes when she heard a distinct click from the gun.
"She must've run out of ammo." Daigo said in relief.

They had another chuckle when they heard Remy and Emile squeaking at one another from the old lady's point of view.
"I guess when rats squeak at one another they're talking." Takumi said.
Ikumi grinned slightly when she saw the old lady pick up an empty ammo box. "No more shotgun shells."
"In that box at least." Hisako added grimly.

They cringed when they saw the lady grab a box of fresh shells. But were relieved when Remy and Emile were on the chandelier together. Before the old lady reloaded.
"Uh oh," Daigo gulped. "She's gonna shoot at them again!"

They winced as she fired but sighed knowing that she missed. But what then they started to notice something.
"Wait a minute," Ryoko said realizing something. "Didn't Remy warn Emile that she might find their colony?"
"Yeah?" Ikumi responded tentatively.
"With that last shot…" Hisako started, also realizing what was going to happen just as the ceiling in the movie collapsed dropping the colony in the old lady's living room.

"I don't blame her for reacting like that." Erina said a bit pale at seeing the rats. "If I saw a whole bunch of rats like that, I would've reacted the same way."
"Same here." The others agreed even Soma and Fumio.
"Yeah, time to leave!" Isami called as Remy's dad called for the rats to evacuate.

"What's Remy doing?" Yuki asked as they saw him stop.
They then saw why he stopped. "Oh forget the book and run Remy!" Shoji yelled.
"Wait a minute," Soma suddenly said. "When the movie began we saw Remy crash out of a window carrying a book, is that where…?"
"Yes, Soma," Megumi answered with a smile. "We're now right where the movie started."
They then saw Remy look in horror as the old lady came back wearing a helmet and gas mask.
"Uh oh, she's brought out the big guns!" Takumi exclaimed.
They saw that they had indeed arrived where the movie began as Remy broke through the window carrying the book.
"Well they all got out, now where are they gonna go?" Hisako asked.
"Just watch." Megumi answered.

They were all quite surprised when the rats approached the river and uncovered some hidden make-shift boats made from everyday items.
"So they had boats in that river ready for an occasion like this?" Erina commented. "I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing."
They then saw Remy still running.
"Uh oh, Remy's still behind them!" Yuki cried.

"Yeah, ya don't wanna leave him behind!" Soma exclaimed.
"Run Remy!" Isshiki cried.

"He's using the book as a boat for himself." Daigo said.
"That's gonna damage the pages though!" Marui cried in shock.
"I don't think that matters at this point." Yuki said.
They watched with baited breath as the other rats used a spatula for Remy to grab onto.

They jumped when they saw something splash into the water. Only to be in shock as they saw the old lady from the farmhouse aiming her shotgun at Remy and the other rats.
"Yikes! She's already got them out of her house; I don't think they'll be back!" Ikumi exclaimed.
"I don't think she cares at this point." Erina said a little shocked that the lady was still trying to kill the rats. "Even if they're out of her house she just wants to make sure they don't come back personally."
They jumped again as they saw her shoot the spatula in Remy's paws.
"Jeez, she doesn't know when to stop!" Daigo said.

They all breathed a collective sigh of relief.
"Whew, he made it." Yuki said.
"Yes, but now he has to catch up to his family." Isshiki said with a frown. "They're still way ahead of him."

"Oh no," Ryoko groaned as they saw Remy come to a fork in the sewer. "Which way did they go?"
"Something tells me he's going to pick the wrong direction." Isami said grimly.

"I hate it when I'm right." Isami moaned as they saw Remy take the left tunnel to an aqueduct pipe.
"Oh I hope he doesn't drown." Yuki said as they watched Remy get carried away by the heavy currents.
They all breathed a sigh of relief when it finally stopped and Remy was on top of the book again looking back the way he came.
"He made it." Takumi sighed.
"But…" Ryoko began somberly. "Now he's separated from his family."

Megumi paused the movie and looked at everyone. "So what do you guys think so far?"
"Well, I'm still having my doubts about Remy being able to cook, despite what we saw on the farmhouse roof." Erina said while crossing her arms. "But so far it's looking pretty good." She admitted.
"I will admit, I didn't think too much of this movie when you told us about it." Takumi added. "But so far, it seems like it could be a good movie."
"I like it." Soma said cheerfully. "I might actually get some ideas on some new recipes if this movie gets further into anymore food."
"Oh it will, Soma." Megumi said. "It maybe upsetting right now, but I promise that it will get even better later."
"Well then, don't keep us in suspense Megumi, play the rest of the movie!" Isshiki said with his usual smile. Megumi giggled before unpausing the movie.
One thing they all agreed on: was that the movie was good so far. They also couldn't wait to see more.
A/N: So that was the first chapter! I know I could've gone further, but I didn't want to make this too long, despite the fact that I only covered the first 13 minutes of the movie. I'm sure I'll cover more scenes in detail as the movie progresses and probably not have the cast make a comment every 10 seconds. Before I end this, I'd like to go over the two things I numbered.
1). I know Disney doesn't have a stellar record when it comes to movies and TV shows; and I know many folks say they ruined certain franchises, which will remain nameless. But I grew up watching Disney movies and no matter how bad they get or how old they are I will ALWAYS watch them.
2). This is one thing I see a lot of reactors forget. I see reactors wondering how someone could fit a dog into a small tube in the mail along with a whole pile of canned dog food. (I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about) But in Cartoon physics, such things are possible. If you watch some cartoons from the 1930s to the 1960s, you'll understand what I'm talking about.
Also, the #+# I made will mark the end of a "chapter" in the movie. Each time I finish one chapter, that will be where I end the reactions in the movie.
